A wonderful little place to stop on the way to Mendocino from the Bay Area. All the food is inventive, fresh, and filling. Easy stop, friendly people

Just stopped through here on my way up the coast, but it’s such a great little store! We got some snacks and drinks, and everybody in here was delightful, both the employees and the other customers.

Excellent baked goods. A good spot for breakfast or lunch. If you need a quick breakfast try the hand pies filled with egg and sausage. Really good.

Funky, fun little spot. Coffee drinks, sandwiches, etc. Prices seemed a touch high to me- $13.95 for a very nice fancy salad, for example.

Their drip coffee was stellar, and the scone I had ( warmed up in the oven) was the best scone I’ve ever had. They had a restroom for customers as well. The women who were working were friendly, kind and efficient. Thank you for making the necessary stop an enjoyable one! I’ll stop here each time I pass through, and dream of that scone in the meantime.

Nice little cozy restaurant. We stopped there from Mendocino County because all the restaurants there open on or after 8 a.m. So we stopped on our way back to the Bay area. Was about a 50 minute drive to get there but worth it. The food was really good especially the organic eggs and homemade sourdough bread.

Great family run Business. Ordered the hot chocolate and it was amazing! The cashier was so sweet and made the place seem really homely. You can see the kitchen from the eating area and I find it comforting and really cool to see them make everything and I mean everything from scratch.food was great!

This shop has made to order meals, primarily salads, soups and sandwiches, prepared with fresh ingredients, some even grown out back. The daily specials all sounded very interesting. our sandwiches were delicious and provided proper sustenance for a day of wine/beer tasting.

Great little place on hwy 128. I stopped on my way thru in January. Had a couple tacos. I imagine it is much busier in the summer.

Great offering of locale fare in a clean. Many ingredients are organic or local. The donuts are great if you get one before they're gone. The sandwiches on freshly baked bread make this a great place to stop for lunch.

Just about all the food on the extensive menu here is solid. My favorite order is huevos rancheros with extra tortillas to wipe it all up, which is an off-the-menu order. Everyone enjoys eating here! The General Store does have a bit of a fly problem in their indoor and outdoor seating (unrelated to the place's cleanliness) for unclear reasons - consider ordering takeout if a few flies chilling at your table would bother you.

Great, delicious food, served quickly! We were just passing thru from a quick excursion to the Mendocino coast and ran into this gem of a place! Absolutely will be back on our next trip!

Great old time feel grocery store complete with butcher shop in the back. We bought everything from breakfast items to beer!

What a delicious surprise! Fresh. Homemade. What a yummy stop through Anderson Valley. Don’t miss this. The quesadilla: Fresh dough!. The turkey sandwich: Fresh ingredients and homemade bread. The veggie sandwich: don’t get me started. Crunchy, fresh, perfectly dressed with yummy goat cheese! Wowowowow! Will always think about this place! Flavor and freshness!

This is a great little Cafe with tasty, home-cooked breakfast, friendly staff, and good coffee. Check out the wall for bottles of wine from nearby wineries, locally roasted coffee, and other local food goods.

We stopped by Boonville General Store expecting a typical shop, but to our surprise, it turned out to be a full-fledged café with breakfast and lunch options. We ordered coffee, which was excellent no added sugar or syrup, which we really appreciated. For breakfast, we had an omelette with bread and homemade jam and the jam was especially delicious. We also loved the charming artwork and the local history displayed on the walls. Even the restroom had a unique touch, with beautifully framed vintage flour sacks on display.

We camped at Hendy Woods State Park and found this place. The savory pies are delicious especially the Torta Milanese. Great service and cozy atmosphere.

Wow, probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had - and I don't even like breakfast burritos! My partner and I are camping at Hendy Woods and we originally stopped by for a quick coffee. We saw them making these huge breakfast burritos in the kitchen and they looked SO good that we made a mental note to stop by again before we left the next day. I am so happy we did because it was DELICIOUS - hot, fresh ingredients, gooey cheese, toasted tortilla, spicy flavorful salsa on the side. Burrito heaven. The items behind the glass at the deli counter looked amazing as well. I saw tres leches, giant quesadillas, hand pies, cookies, carrot cake - yummm. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. I recommend this little deli to anyone looking for a quick bite of breakfast or lunch :)

A women-operated shop. Love its sandwiches and wraps. Service is not the quickest, give yourself extra few minutes. The wait is worthwhile. I always get my lunch here when being in Anderson Valley for wine tasting.

The food was pretty good. Unfortunately, our orders were a bit messed up and items were forgotten etc. We will stop by again and see if it was just a bad day.

I asked for over medium eggs but got over hard eggs. (See photo). Guess if you want over medium then ask for over easy eggs. I like the runny yolk to mix with my breakfast potatoes so I was disappointed. Great sourdough toast but hardly any butter on it. Breakfast potatoes cooked to perfection but could have used more spices to give it more flavor.

Sweet people. Spent a lot of time explaining that I didn't want cheese or egg in my breakfast burrito. Then after I hit the road, realized that I got a breakfast burrito with cheese and egg. I can't eat dairy or egg, so a huge bummer. These people seem smart, the business has a lot going for it, and I think they could do better.

Maybe it was an off day but it took over 20 minutes just to get coffee. Wouldn’t come back.

I got a grilled chicken salad and it was nothing like that. It was some disgusting lemon dressing on top of lettuce and 2 scoops of some chicken salad, also drenched in disgusting dressing. We ordered 3 dishes in our group and none of us thought food was good. But I was super upset about grilled chicken salad. Attaching photos for those who are thinking to order it. Don’t! Also there were no standard kids options except for rice and beens, at least for us. My point is, if you charge so much for salad, and call it grilled chicken, then at least make it so.
