I hadn't been here in a long time, I think it was closed for a bit. It's open now and as good as ever. Great stop!! I'll definitely be back in the next time I'm through this way.

This place is a hidden gem. There’s a cute and homey feel to the restaurant and a very welcoming staff to match. Food was great and for a value. Will definitely be back again when making that trek from SoCal to the bay.

When we are exploring the high desert for prospecting areas, we try to stop here for lunch. Very surprising for the little town of Boron. Great food, cold beer and great service. If you want to eat where the shuttle and test pilots eat, stop here. Great photos and other items from Edwards. There is a train that runs along the top of the walls in there also. We really like this place and the staff.

Great Food and Domingo is a great patriot. Muroc / Edwards memorabilia is a great experience. He is well appreciated by those we met later on base tour in December 2019. Original recommendation in Las Vegas based upon the quality of the food. Generous portions and great historical review - impossible to beat in the area. True Americana story and we will stop there anytime we are in the area. Hope they reopen soon.

We went here for our 37th wedding anniversary. The food was awesome as well as their service. Plenty of food for the price. Plus they sang Happy Anniversary in Spanish and English. Definitely worth the trip.

Great place, Food was Great, Drinks were hitting, and the place feels like you’re at your grandparents. Now not every place makes you feel fancy, this place takes you home.

Why go to Carl’s Jr. when great food, outdoor seating and friendly staff are literally 1 minute away? Excellent salsa and chips started our meal, with shrimp fajitas and another shrimp dish with onion white sauce and rice and beans. Support local owners with a memorably good meal near the Museum.

We were glad to see this open again with New Management and new owners. The food is fantastic the staff is great. I highly recommend if you haven't been here in a while to return. It is fantastic

My husband is still talking about the al pastor tacos he had He loved it!! My chile rellano was delicious. Service was good as were the complementary chips. The salsa was yummy chunky. A great place to eat.

Great food friendly service

Domingos is the best food in the desert. Always authentic and constantly delicious. I have a hard time trying to figure out what to order because the food is all so good! The owner is probably the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Stop in and give this place a try you will be throughly impressed.

Wow. I am passing through town and decided to stop. I’ve had pretty good Mexican food all over California but this place is something special. The bacon wrapped scallops were phenomenal, the shrimp al ajo were also great, and the margaritas weee excellent as well. Worth making the trip.

I order chili rellenos everywhere I go to compare with my favorite here at Domingo's 😊 This place has always been my favorite for YEARS, and then it closed when the owner retired several years ago...BUT IT'S OPEN AGAIN! I'm so glad! Even though it's under new management/owners the past few years, the rellenos are just as I remembered them! Delicious, tender pepper full of cheese, perfectly fried batter, great sauce. The chicken enchilada was packed full with plenty of meat. This little restaurant is like a mirage here on the edge of the Mojave desert...out in "no where" but we pass by to and from our travel to Palm Springs for vacation (avoiding L.A. traffic) and make a point to stop for lunch. I'm so glad these new owners are doing a great job..lots of great reviews 🙂. There were lots of people eating there yet service was quick and very friendly. Try it!

Nice Mexican restaurant in town with friendly service and good food. I ordered the 2 item combo with cheese enchiladas and a salad. Chips and salsa were included. The salsa had good flavor with chunks of tomato and onion. The enchilada sauce was also good and the beans and rice were flavorful and went well with the meal. There was a large party outside with music and everyone was having a great time. I was surprised that inside the restaurant I could barely hear the music from the outside party thanks to what must be a well designed and insulated building. Overall I really enjoyed the restaurant. Thank you for having this wonderful place in town. I can tell it's the go-to place for the community!

Yes yes they’re finally open! update 8 19 2019 they’re finally open again!!! More to come.... finally went in!!! Nice LITTLE place! Margaritas got a nice kick! Fiesta!!! Ohhhh Fernando’oh. .... I would give him five stars if he would stay open!! I went back today September 18, 2019 I had the crab (and that’s real crab!)enchiladas and they were awesome ...better than I thought they would be ...since I never had them before and I love crab! Try the patio!! I keep going BACK!!! 11/6/19!! If I edit it every time I ate there this page would be so long. So they ARE OPEN AGAIN! 4/30/21!! Please stay that way!!! MINGO? U heAr me ? Yeah he didn't so I went and talk to him personally today and he is still the landlord but he's got other people working underneath them now and that's a good thing! even though he is very entertaining himself. I still know where he is.Hahhahahaa💜💜💜💜💜💋 add-on update Mingo doesn’t own it anymore. The romantic atmosphere is gone, but it’s still a cool little restaurant… One of the waitresses Amy is very polite and has a very cute smile 💜💜👋🏾 I keep coming back and giving him my money so what does that say? Num num num. The beans are hot and the guacamole is cold. Everything is fresh like always I will be back. I warned you. 💋💋💜

Absolutely incredible vegetarian burrito!! I asked for it “a la plancha” and with rice, and they happily agreed and it was so DELICIOUS!!! Thank you thank you, I will stop here every time on my road trip from now on! Came with homemade chips on the side. Fast and super nice people too.

Went here for Super Bowl Sunday after wanting to try it for a while. The food and atmosphere was amazing. The workers were very kind and accommodating. One of my favorite parts was when the waitress turned on the electronic train set that went around the restaurant. I would definitely come back next time.

We were driving home to Joshua Tree from Tehachipi. My son got married the previous day. I had found this restaurant on Google, and it sounded good. We got off the 58 frwy and wet to the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. The servers and everyone else were very friendly and attentive. The prices were outstanding! The food was exceptional! Large portions, and great service! We will definitely stop by on our next road trip!

We were surprised to find this gem in Boron. Food is good. Even the seafood is good, not what I expected in the middle of the Mojave desert. Worth a visit if you find yourself in Boron!

I've been a huge fan of Domingo's for years, since astronauts used to dine here. While it may have lost a little of it's touch after being closed and reopening several times, it's still great to have good Mexican dining in Boron, especially from Domingo. He's great!

Not the best. Drinks were ok, service was prompt but the togo food order came out wrong. I asked for avocado on the veggie burrito and it came on top instead of inside?🤔 also asked for cheese to be added. Didn't get any. I suggest eating in.
