I had the beef brisket lunch special with salad, baked beans, and collard greens, and everything was absolutely delicious! The beef brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful. While the baked beans were just okay, the side salad was super fresh and collard greens—some of the best I’ve had in years—more than made up for it. I came with my co-workers for lunch, and even though they weren’t too busy, our waitress, Olivia, made the experience outstanding. She was so attentive and even refilled my drink without me having to ask—talk about great service! The new owner also came by to check in on our table, and it was such a delight to meet him. We also indulged in a few desserts, and they were out of this world. The apple cobbler and lemon meringue pie are must-haves! On top of it all, the meal was very affordable—not just for one person, but it would be a great option for families too. I’ll definitely be back again, even if it means making the trip from Tampa. Highly recommend this place!

Delicious food, all fresh and well made for a great price. The sweet and smokey Sauce over the fall apart moist brisket was a treat, ribs very good. Mac n cheese were well made paired with the baked beans and coleslaw. A hometown family bbq place, that's a treat!!!

I do bfast here Monday thru Friday, and it is fabulous! Ashley, our waitress is awesome. She is polite and funny. The food is awesome as well. I have been to several restaurants in the area for bfast, and the food quality at H & H is at the top of the charts, and the price is as good as the quality. Finally, the size of the servings is huge! You better be hungry!

We chose to come to H&H over Taco 39 for Fathers Day. Honestly…. The service was great and the girls were so sweet and very professional. The food was very good (wow those chicken tenders caught me off guard) but everything was yummy. You get a good amount of food for the price which is appreciated and expected since eating out is not something many people do anymore due to cost. Will definitely be going again! We never had the chance to go under the previous ownership but we really liked our experience today.

I service this account and went there for a repair during a busy event. As busy as they were, they sent me on my way with Brisket and baked beans as a thank you after the repair was done. The owner told me he had the best brisket in town. Now, I go to a lot of restaurants with my job, and even more BBQ places so I was skeptical. However, he was right. I didn’t grab any sauce but it didn’t need any. Juicy, smoky, seasoned, and excellent cuts of meat and the kitchen was spotless.

My boyfriend Dwayne Wilson with Dwayne Wilson Tree Service, had a big job right across the street from this bbq joint on Wednesday and Thursday this past week, (he was in a bright safety green work shirt and covered with tattoos), he called me while he was on lunch to rave about this place and he doesn’t usually call mid-day unless it’s something worth mentioning, work related for paperwork, or something worth talking about! That was this place! He said the food was amazing, and what really stood out was the service. I think he mentioned that the owner and some servers actually came out to their table and offered them something new that wasn’t even on the menu yet, just to see what they thought. That kind of hospitality is rare and worth celebrating. It’s not every day a crew of hardworking guys gets treated like that during their lunch break. He and the team were impressed and especially if he calls me just to say how good something was, that says a lot! So from a secondhand perspective, if he says the food is good, then I would highly recommend this place!!! He did bring some home when I tried, and it was phenomenal not like the other barbecue places around town honestly, well that I’ve tried at least too. Anyways, thank you for the hospitality and the awesomeness!!

First time here after hearing good things for a long while. Tonight was all you can eat chicken and pork. The pork was very flavorful though my wife thought it was dry. The chicken was really good the skin was crispy with a good Smokey flavor. The mac and cheese is runny like another reviewer said but maybe that's just how its done here. Baked beans had a Smokey taste, not too sweet. Cole slaw was good also not too sweet. Collards and black eyed peas were good I think the collards had a little spice to then. The mustard sauce was my favorite though the vinegar and original were really good too. Spicy mustard was good if you like spice. Staff was friendly and prompt. Prices are good especially the all you can eat. I'll be back.

This is a take out review. My first time ordering/eating here (sometimes can be intimidating if you don't know the process, sauces or sides). They made it very easy, was patient over the phone and was even more friendly in person. The sides were good too!

The food was just okay. None of us really cared for the collard greens, they had a strange flavor. The ribs were good. The chicken wings were a bit tough. The atmosphere is a very small diner feel. Our server was super nice and helpful. And he has the best hearing! 😄 I'm sorry, I forgot his name. I believe it started with a T. He's a sweet, tall, black man.

Dropped by hungry harrys today... Got the quarter chicken combo with two sides (baked beans and corn casserole), and decided to treat myself to some peach cobbler! Everything tasted great as usual and the service is always great, but the cobbler-- I literally received 2 tbsp of cobbler! I cannot believe that I got not only 2 tablespoons worth, but it was cold--out of the refrigerator cold. Not even warmed up in a microwave. Either give us a substantial serving or just don't have it.... At least a half of a cup would have been better than nothing. I don't even think I got a quarter cup worth.

On a first glance, it's obvious that their portion sizes are smaller. I mean i paid 3.25 dollars extra for their mac and cheese. And they have such small containers for takeout i didnt even know it was possible to get containers this small. And it's white mac and cheese not like cheddar it says on their menu. Their two meat combo was a dollar more, 17.99 instead of 16.99, than it said on the menu they posted 6 months ago. They gave me two sweet sauces when i ordered one of each, mild, sweet, and hot. And it was way too sweet for me. It was my first time and I'm not going back. It was disappointing and in this economy, i would rather go somewhere else that would respect its customers.

Order short end ribs got big fatty ribs brought to table. Returned those got small burnt black grill marks and tasted like liquid smoke. The waitress and manager very nice! Probably won't be back food just wasn't as good as it use to be.

We used to go to “Land O Lakes” location. This is our first time here in this location. Honestly I love Land O Lakes location n also the staff there. This place has more space than Land O Lakes place but for me food is delicious at Land O Lakes place than this. Here they have burned the food more than it needed. Good for a change. Initial visit..beef brisket was mediocre, tons of fat. Bbq sauce was decent. Country style ribs and potato salad were good. The Green beans were the highlight, had a smokey flavor. Cornbread was also delicious. Quick service!

Well it (WAS) excellent BBQ. Unfortunately, this is dry and lacking flavor. Baked beans are good and collard greens are excellent. My original post two years ago 5 stars and now 2 stars. One last thing I can say is that the portions were definitely good.

You can easily tell when meats have been reheated multiple times yuck. Essentially, I waited 45 minutes for leftover food that was microwaved. It sucks too because I was looking forward to it. It’s got a great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff.

Ordered the #2 Two Slabs of Ribs Combo and the ribs were the worst I have ever tasted and seen. Waste of my hard earned 80$. If your reading this, I would personally not recommend this restaurant.

Slow kitchen, poorly trained kitchen workers. Serves burnt food and cold food. Hungry Harry’s was better and didn’t have a ridiculous menu. Too much for kitchen to handle. No manager on site on Sunday evening. So nice they took off the food I didn’t eat. 🙄

BEWARE!! This location is not the Hungry Harrys Famous BBQ anymore, it is a new restaurant with a similar name called H&H family BBQ. We went there today thinking it was Hungry Harrys but got to know that it's a new restaurant at the same location. (got deceived by the name) Anyhow we decided to give it a try as we travelled about half an hour from home. Got the 2 meat platter. Their portion sizes were big, however, the food was too salty, not seasoned well and their sauces were awful.

Hate to write this review as this place used to be our favorite lunch bbq spot when the old owners had it. Now… Well not anymore. Go in for lunch, after waiting for over an hour for our food and multiple tables who came in after us eating and leaving I finally arise the question of where my food is. Food comes out a few minutes later. THANKFULLY I cut into my sons chicken tenders before letting him begin eating them. They were RAW inside and burned on the outside. My pulled pork sandwich was a 6/10, sided have gone down in quality. They should have really kept the old food that worked so well for so many years. For all the inconveniences and almost giving my son SALMONELLA, we were offered a scoop of ice cream. Sad to say we won’t be returning to what used to be one of our favorite lunch spots. I wish I could add a picture to show how RAW the tender was.

I ordered a smoked chef's salad with no cheese. First time it came out with cheese but looked great. Redo salad had no cheese and way less meats, avocados, and egg. The collards are horrible. You have to have no taste buds or be really smashed to enjoy this place. We won't be back.

It was my first time trying this place today, came in to have what I can assume is owner yelling and screaming at her staff the entire time. I tried to laugh it off with the waitress, but it was really uncomfortable. Food seemed to get delayed because of whatever drama going on. I tried because I heard the specials were good but can’t put up with that kind of service.

We were pretty disappointed. We dined in and it took over an hour to get our food. The table next to us was given a 10 percent discount, but not us.I ordered the hog Kong and it was served with a cold dried up hamburger patty and sausage. Had to send it back because it was supposed to be pulled pork with smoked sausage. The best part of the meal was the salt, ranch dressing and fries. If I had to rename this place, I would call it Hell and Hell No BBQ.

The chicken was under cooked. The onions and green peppers wernt cooked all the way. The portions of chicken and sides are ridiculous. I spent over $80. I for sure will never order again from this place. I'm baffled. The cobbler was cold. I don't know how this place stays in business and has a almost 5 star review. I always order from Alabama BBQ and they were closed. Never again will order from this place.

My first and last trip here. I ordered the Brisket Platter. For $15.99 plus tax I received four slices of brisket. A sauce cup of Mac and cheese and a sauce cup of green beans. To be honest the food quality wasn’t terrible but I have had much better brisket. It was rubbery and seemed to have been reheated. The potions were child sized . Honestly the smallest portions I have ever received anywhere in my life. To add insult to injury, the toast was only toasted on one side also. The meal pictured totaled $17.19. Needless to say My wife couldn’t have been full after eating this. Definitely not happy with this experience!

We have been coming here for a few years now. My husband picked up our food tonight and he had a baked potato and I had sweet. Both cold. Both of us got brisket and you see how that came out. No juices very very dry and cold. He did not get his baked beans and my okra looked like they fried it twice but it was cold. On top of that my husband tipped for a pick up. Very disappointed.

The chicken was under cooked. The onions and green peppers wernt cooked all the way. The portions of chicken and sides are ridiculous. I spent over $80. I for sure will never order again from this place. I'm baffled. The cobbler was cold. I don't know how this place stays in business and has a almost 5 star review. I always order from Alabama BBQ and they were closed. Never again will order from this place.

My first and last trip here. I ordered the Brisket Platter. For $15.99 plus tax I received four slices of brisket. A sauce cup of Mac and cheese and a sauce cup of green beans. To be honest the food quality wasn’t terrible but I have had much better brisket. It was rubbery and seemed to have been reheated. The potions were child sized . Honestly the smallest portions I have ever received anywhere in my life. To add insult to injury, the toast was only toasted on one side also. The meal pictured totaled $17.19. Needless to say My wife couldn’t have been full after eating this. Definitely not happy with this experience!

They reheated and he said the middle was still too cold. My chicken quesadilla's were meh. It was the longest wait we'd ever experienced at this spot. Never again.

We were pretty disappointed. We dined in and it took over an hour to get our food. The table next to us was given a 10 percent discount, but not us.I ordered the hog Kong and it was served with a cold dried up hamburger patty and sausage. Had to send it back because it was supposed to be pulled pork with smoked sausage. The best part of the meal was the salt, ranch dressing and fries. If I had to rename this place, I would call it Hell and Hell No BBQ.
