I live about an hour from here but try to stop by when I’m in the neighborhood. Food is excellent. I got the shrimp and andouille gumbo and it didn’t disappoint. They had live music when I was there on Sunday

This place has all the really great tastes of N'awlins. A great variety of menu items, each with a heaping amount of food. The atmosphere is very pleasing to the eyes. Not too loud or crowded. I had the Slow Cooked Red Beans & Rice. You can choose cup or bowl, white or dirty rice. I opted for the bowl and dirty rice. Which my server/bartender yell out "DIRTY!" After only a few bites, I was full and satisfied. Great fooding here. I totally recommend. Cheers!

I love the New Orleans theme, authentic feeling, and generous portions of flavorful food! You have to try the honey crystal shrimp for an appetizer, it's so good! Around the months of Mardi Gras, they offer a special menu, I recommend the Cajun wings and ribeye po'boy for something different and scrumptious!

Eating here transport you right to New Orleans. The food and the music, the atmosphere is all great. My family and I had a nice time here. The service was quick, the food came out fairly quick and hot!

The atmosphere was very festive and upbeat, the jazz was enjoyable. The food was AMAZING, the shrimp and grit cakes were to die for, and I'd repeat any time. The Jambalaya and Gumbo were also delicious, and the appetizer of fried green tomatoes with sauce was just sublime. We weren't disappointed with one single thing, and will definitely be returning. The decor was delightful and entertaining. All I can say is, I wish I'd come here sooner!!

David was very helpful in helping us through the menu. We all chose wisely because of him. We enjoyed everything. There were six of us. We will return. Waitress was very helpful and took pictures for us. Great atmosphere.

The atmosphere is amazing! The food is beyond great! Sage, our waitress, was very kind and she was awesome at helping me pick a Gunbo that I loved. It was my first time trying gumbo and I loved it! This is now our favorite place to eat! I can’t wait to try brunch. If you haven’t been here, you are missing out on a great atmosphere and amazing food.

I was taken here for Father's Day lunch by my wife. It was quite the atmosphere, I must say. Great vibes. Great service. Great meal. Without a doubt, we will return to sample other dishes from the menu. We had shrimp and grits, chicken and waffle, and gator bites. Everything had excellent flavor.

We were greeted right away by the host and say quickly on a Saturday. Our server Kaleigh, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave some great suggestions and we ended up making a meal or of apps. The food was phenomenal! My wife is a native Floridian, and she said this was the best Gator she's ever had! The decor and atmosphere really provide a unique ambiance that adds to the overall experience. As professional chef's we don't eat out much and are often let down by our dining out experiences. Tibby's did not disappoint and we were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. We're will be returning!!!

Fantastic food! The beignets are just like the ones I have had in New Orleans, I love the flavor options here. The King Cake beignets were definitely my favorite but the caramel chocolate were also very very good. The brandy sauce and praline sauce for them is ssooo delicious! The shrimp gator cheesecake was amazing, my friends were apprehensive about it but after they tried it they devoured the whole thing lol I loved the gator nuggets and fries as well, the gator was a great texture and flavor. A lot of gator nuggets are chewy or fishy tasting, these were tender and tasted very good. Thank you! Edit: I tried the Praline Belgian Waffle and oh my gosh it's so perfect and soft, thank you!!! I like to order my beignets and the waffle lightly cooked and they come out just the way I like them, mmmm... Also very good chicken and waffles! I like to get praline sauce to put on them, it's so good!!

The food here is fantastic! Every dish we got was vary vary good, we all shared from eachothers plates and tried everything. My brother is a regular cstomer of Tibbys as he travels to Tampa often with work. The rest of us are up here occasionally and will DEFINITELY be coming back. The service we received here was exceptional. I wish I had gotten our waitress name because she was so great with our large party of 10. She had her nose pierced and some tattoos but unfortunately I didn't get her name, anyway our waitress was awesome and we tipped her well.

The food was great as usual. My issue, this time, was the waitress. We got out appetizer but never got silverware. Even when we got our food, no silverware. We had to take some from another table. When we were waiting to go, never got the to go containers we asked for. Also had to get them ourselves. At least the food was good.

What a great restaurant with amazing New Orleans food and flavor.. it has wide selection on the menu and awesome staff.. definitely worth stopping at and getting some great food… you will be surprised and impressed if you do…

We stopped by for Sunday brunch while in the area. The alligator cheesecake was pretty good. The shrimp and grits were average the shrimp lacked seasoning (I asked for mild heat so I’m not sure if that is why they were not seasoned). We ordered the traditional beignets to go (not pictured) and those were delicious. The saxophonist was phenomenal and the service was great. Overall we had a good experience. I would try them again but would not order the shrimp and grits mild again.

Tameka is by far the best server I have had. Her attentiveness to my table was superb. Her bubbly personality had us all laughing. Can’t wait to come back and sit in her section. Food was fantastic. We love the fried green tomatoes with the crawfish on top. Happy hours is to die for love the hurricanes.

Tibby’s in Brandon is absolutely amazing! After living in Baton Rouge for years, this place feels like coming home. They’ve nailed the New Orleans vibe and flavors the food is authentic, delicious, and replicated perfectly, from the gumbo, shrimp and grits to the po’boys and everything in between. What truly sets Tibby’s apart is the incredible staff. Every server and bartender is friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. A special shout-out to David, one of the managers is always welcoming and makes every visit even better.If you’re craving real Louisiana food and that warm Southern hospitality in Florida, Tibby’s in Brandon is the spot. Highly recommend!

First time coming with my boyfriend and I am blown away! The “Who dat” was superb! We also order the sampler of gumbo, jambalaya and crawfish pie! The pastry on the pie was perfection and the inside was seasoned to perfection! The gumbo was delicious and the jambalaya was a hefty portion! Certainly enough for 2! Temeka was our server! 10 out of 10! My boyfriend asked her to pick is meal and not tell him. She recommend the “Who Dat”! Omfg I’m legit ready to leave Florida and move to New Orleans if this is what I am missing! Bring family! Bring friends! No occasion is needed just come! Shout out to my girl Temeka! Thank you so much for the southern hospitality and laughs! We will be returning!. I also want to add that the beignets are traditional and pairs well with the espresso martini !!

What a great N’awlins experience!! The atmosphere was so fun and inviting!! Our meals were delicious. Try the blackened black drum fish with crawfish etoufee! ) And dirty rice and spinach.) OMG it’s amazing!! The happy hour was excellent! We had wine, martinis and abita Amber brews. Wow. So good. Don’t forget to save room for Beignets and Cafe au lait. Ask for Anthony and Melissa. You won’t regret it. The service is outstanding!! Thanks Tibby’s !! We will be back.

I loved this place so much I took 14 photos of the deliciously authentic food and the cool Mardi Gras/Jazzfesr decor and posted it on Facebook. And I never do that. This place made me happy like few restaurants ever have. My gumbo was amazing as was my husband's jambalaya. And the beignets we're to die for. Can not wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

First off, weekends here are unbeatable with bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, or beer — such a fun vibe! If you go, make sure you ask for Temeka, she is hands down the best server ever. Follow her recommendations on her favorite dishes! she knows what she’s talking about, and she will not steer you wrong. We’ve been here before, but Tameka’s favorite dishes turned us into loyal customers for life. I’ll definitely be bringing family and friends back to enjoy more of your amazing food. Thank you, Tibby’s, for the fun atmosphere, delicious food, and the wonderful service that made our family feel right at home!

Tibby’s understood the assignment 👏🔥 We had Matt as our server and he was an absolute GEM!! Genuine, attentive, and just the kind of service that makes you want to come back immediately. We got the shrimp & alligator cheesecake (YES, and YES), Rita’s chicken, and the sampler… and let me tell you, EVERYTHING was full of flavor. Matt suggested the hot sauce and whew… that was the move 😮‍💨🔥 It took the food from “this is good” to “I might dream about this later.” 10/10 meal, 10/10 service. Matt deserves a raise. We’ll be back!!

Amazing! The crawfish etouffee was absolutely delicious and a generous portion. The gumbo was really really good. The food was hot and fresh. The beignets were fresh and not greasy. The inside is a playground for the eyes with lots to see. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Definitely a must try and we will be back.

New Orleans Style restaurant along with its decor, food has the Cajun flare and was tasty, plentiful. They can accommodate large parties, we had a party of ten, both manager and waitress made sure each individual needs were met, food and drinks both came out quickly. Everyone was satisfied with their dinner with no complaints.

We visited for the first time on Saturday and it was fantastic. From the holiday decorations and overall vibe when entering, there was so much to look at! We were seated in the bar at a high top and Anthony came over right away. He made sure to welcome us in and give us some great feedback on the menu and truly guided us through our entire experience. He was so attentive and our drinks never went half empty(or full) throughout the entire meal. He was so amazing and truly made the experience what it was. The food, from the fried green tomatoes to the jambalaya, everything was so flavorful and came out piping hot. We truly enjoyed our visit and when you visit, make sure to ask for Anthony. You won’t be disappointed.

Tibbys is a New Orleans style restaurant, I greatly enjoyed my food. I ordered some Gator nuggets, and for my main I ordered a shrimp Cajun pasta. It was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will be going back soon. They had benigets for dessert but I was so full I didn't end up ordering them. Need to save room next time I go.

For our appetizer we had the Onion Ring Stack. The rings were huge and they gave you a lot of them to enjoy. My wife had the Chicken Pontchartrain and I had the 12 Napkin Slow-Roasted Beef sub which comes with gravy on it. The food was awesome and the portions were huge. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing.

Tibby’s is often overlooked in the Brandon landscape, but it’s a gem. We’ve eaten here numerous times over the years- special occasions with larger groups and also just for a date night. We always have a great experience. The food is always high quality and full of flavor. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in New Orleans. Service is always great. Faith waited on us tonight and was top notch- attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend. Don’t forget the beignets!

This location in Brandon is by far better than the location in Altamonte. Not only because the food was impecable but all the staff are very friendly and attentive. The manager David is always passing by the tables making sure all is fine and willing to make your experience better. This will become now our favorite location. Definitely never going back to Altamonte. Don’t want to leave out our waitress the name is with a P (sorry I cant spell her name) but she was very nice too. Actually all the employees that came to our table were very nice to us. Coming back soon!!

The atmosphere was great, and family that have been to New Orleans said it's authentic. I was recommended Rita's chicken and it was pretty good. And the wait staff was wonderful! I will say i liked the boudin rolls more.

The best things in this place is the gumbo and the jambalaya. Mm mm mm! I ordered the chicken and I didn't care too much for it, so I switched out for a gumbo. Delicious

I would recommend the Sunday brunch especially for a date, hangout, or for families without young children. The brunch menu is diverse and offers a lot of excellent authentic New Orleans cuisine choices. I also love the live music available for the Sunday brunch. I would say that the brunch is not great for families with younger children because the music gets very loud and it is more of a club like atmosphere, but would be perfect for a date or more mature crowd. Outside of the Sunday brunch though I’m sure the atmosphere would be fine for younger children. Overall I thought the atmosphere and service were excellent. The food was average to me but I am also not super accustomed to Cajun/New Orleans cuisine. If you get the Muffuletta like I did be prepared for a very generous portion. I think it may be the largest sandwich I have ever had, lol 🤯😂. I also ordered the Jambalaya, Crawfish Pie, & Chicken File Gumbo sampler which was a nice way to enjoy New Orleans cuisine all in one. My wife got the Cajun Chicken (Who Dat) which she didn’t really like. The artichokes in the dish come from a can instead of being fresh and the peppers seemed to be from frozen instead of fresh as well. Portion sizes are decent for the prices. The parking lot is decent but the spaces can become a little tight so don’t bring a large SUV or bigger truck here if that’s what you drive.

1/4/25 First visit. Our server Jay made our dinner and birthday celebration special with her outstanding service and hospitality. The food was very good, with the highlights being the gumbo with its richly spiced flavors and the unique crawfish pie. The lowlight was the crab & gator cheesecake appetizer. I ordered it because it sounded unique, but I found it to be bland and pedestrian in flavor. It was just a block of warm cream cheese covered in breadcrumbs served with stale bread. If it had crab and fat or meat it was unnoticeable to me. The jambalaya was good, too. Overall, I recommend this restaurant based in it's abve average service and flavorful food.

First time here and we have mixed reviews. We were seated almost immediately (for a Wednesday at 6:30). Our server was nice, but didn't really follow up with us that much. We got the muffaletta (the half size portion was bigger than a full size sub!), but even though I ordered it cold, it was served lukewarm, like they started to heat it and then forgot it was supposed to be cold. We did have to send back our lukewarm fries, and ended up getting them when we finished our meal and were getting the check. My brother got the chicken and waffles, which he said was the best he's ever had, and highly recommends the homemade brandy sauce that comes with it. The dripping chicken sandwich was ok, but not worth the mess. We also got gator bites, which were very flavorful, but very small. I would come back and try different dishes out of curiosity.

Nice decor and festive atmosphere the place was mostly empty at 2pm on Sunday and there was a lot of staff visible. food not bad but the waitress was rather scarce having to be hailed to bring silverware and brought the salad with the hot food and it barely fit on the table which I might offer are rather small. At one point the manager appeared and took away some of the dishes while she was away somewhere. the overrated the gumbo needs some seasoning and they're rather cavalier in not putting salt and pepper on the table. We paid for it it should be available. I've heard about mufflettas and was eager to try theirs but they proved to be huge but underwhelming in flavor. We asked for them to be pressed and that's about all they were, not being warm or toasted. When asked about dessert we tried the praline bread pudding which was very good, after asking again to get the dishes off the table. The prices are reasonable for the potential here but the flat footed deadpan service spoils the overall experience and she still got a twenty dollar tip for a ten dollar experience. So ma'am remember the tip recievith all and the tip beareth all. Doubt I would risk a repeat underperformance. Sorry

Very cute restaurant and the waiter had excellent service but the food was not good at all. My husband couldn’t eat his, I cannot remember the name of the dish but it was recommended by the waiter and hostess. It had artichoke which turned out to be pickled , it made entire plate tangy. The bread that came with our Spinach deep was so stale and hard.

The food was just ok very bland and the dirty rice looks and tastes like jambalaya without the sausage. The Navy bears were the best side don't waste your money on the Alligator bites it was like chewing gum.

Yesterday was my birthday. I normally love going to Tibby's, as the food and atmosphere are amazing. Yesterday was far from that. When I arrived with my mother, I asked the hostess if they gave birthday cake or a dessert like most places do for birthday patrons. She said, "Yes, we serve beignets." I said, "Great," thinking it was complimentary. Our server never came back to the table to refill drinks. Mom ordered a sandwich, didn't like it, and asked for a pork chop replacement. They asked her for one or two chops; she said two and only got one. When the dessert arrived, the server forgot a lighter and told me to "blow out the imaginary flame" rather than fixing the issue. Mom has to pay for both meals, which I find wrong; they almost made me pay for the birthday dessert, but I complained. Also, the shrimp in the shrimp étouffée were tiny salad shrimp now. all around a terrible experience and the worst birthday dinner I have had in a long time. Not to mention they weren't even that busy, and the manager was so nonchalant. I highly doubt my family will be back.

Well, to start with, excessively noisy, hard to talk about loud music. The food is way overpriced as compared to portions given. Taste is nothing to brag about, as I’ve been to New Orleans and the cuisine and culture set very high standards which this place doesn’t really seem to meet or care about. Harry’s in South Lakeland is much better and truly worth the drive for an excellent meal, well priced and great quality and taste. So there you have it 😊
