The food was very good. The calamari with the sauce was amazing the best thing we had. My Dad’s snow crab was a little sour but he ate it. Danny was our server and he did a very good job. I wish him lots of luck at his new job!
Wait staff are attentive without being pushy. No feeling of being rushed. We started with Patron margaritas...not in margarita glasses...a disappointment... but good. Food was absolutely amazing. I had the stuffed flounder which was melt in your mouth with fantastic flavor. My friend had the planked salmon also wonderful. Appetizers looked great but we opted to share the cinnamon bread pudding which was served with a scoop of ice cream. Trust me...it was large and yummy and definitely share size! It was a special treat, not inexpensive but definitely worth the price for both the food and service.
Top shelf. Over the top. Great prices. The cheesy crawdad bread? OMG! Clam chowder...amazing. fried crawdads....wow!!
Five stars for our waitress Mary, she was absolutely wonderful. We loved chatting with her. The food was just OK, our party agreed it wasn’t anything over the top. But decent seafood. It was very pricy :)
Mallory was our waitress and she was the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable of the restaurant menu and recommend a fantastic dish! The apple sea bass! Great and relaxing environment and perfect for a break from the Branson busyness!
This is our favorite restaurant in Branson, best food, service and great deals. We look forward coming back next year.
Fantastic shrimp scampi ! The Ranch dressing for the salad was homemade ! Bananas Foster for dessert ! What a lunch !
My husband and I were able to reserve a table at Landry’s through the OpenTable app which was quick and convenient. We were able to mention that we were honeymooning in the app and upon arrival we were seated immediately, and congratulated on our recent marriage! That was sweet & meant a lot. To start we ordered two peach sangria’s which were not too sweet, nor too bitter- they were PERFECT! My husband ordered us 12 half shell oysters and fried calamari as appetizers. We loved them! The oysters came with little forks, a small dish of horseradish, as well as cocktail sauce & hot sauce to spice up the oysters. The fried calamari wasn’t greasy and was just the right amount portion wise for the two of us. Our appetizers were both delicious! We also ordered the two chefs recommended citrus salmon & blackened swordfish. Both were great & they were plated beautifully. Our server Ms. Mary Hannah was a delight, providing great service to us as well as local recommendations upon request. She wowed us with intentional decorum. Lastly, we were gifted a bread pudding desert on the house to celebrate our honeymoon! What a treat. Thank you for making this stop on our honeymoon so special! Should we find ourselves in Branson again we will come back and ask for Ms. Hannah by name!
We were there on Christmas, so it was a prix fix menu, and there were still several choices in each category. We started with the fried calamari, which was seasoned beautifully and came with some fried artichokes and bell peppers. Ihad the edge salad, while my husband had the traditional house salad. For dinner, I had the salmon with grilled shrimp while my husband had the fried seafood platter, which included catfish, oysters, and shrimp. We enjoyed every bite and will definitely be back. I also had a couple of mice glasses of wine.
The food was great!! Service with a smile and very friendly..
Quite pricey. More than we've ever spent anywhere. And I'm talking over $170 for 2 and that's not including a tip. Food was very surprisingly good. The best calamari and bread I've had around the area. The lobster was overcooked like rubber so I couldn't eat that & won't get it again. We didn't get offered bread right off the bat and had to ask for bread and drink refills a few times. The atmosphere was beautiful warm and cozy. I would definitely go back 👌
I didn't really have any expectations when eating here. I just figured it would be expensive with not anything I'd really want & small portions.. I was wrong! The shrimp Po-Boy was awesome! Hand breaded shrimp on a big French baguette! Also included fries & onion straws! Our waitress was very informative & friendly. I won't recommend adding a salad ( $5 ), which portion size isn't worth it! Check this place out! It'll be worth your time!
We had an early dinner at Landry's after watching Queen Esther and doing some shopping. When we arrived, I told the hostess that I had made reservations at 7, but my wife was starving and couldn't wait. The hostess was friendly and accommodating and said it was no problem. Our server, Joy, was great. When I mentioned to her that I saw fried oysters listed as an appetizer and also as a component of a fried platter, but not as an entrée, she immediately offered the fried oysters as an entrée for me. The fried oysters were very good. The entrée included French fries and onion strings. The meal also included ramekins of ketchup, cocktail sauce, and a tartar remoulade that was delicious. I had a side Caesar salad that was very good as well. (Fresh warm bread and butter were provided after we were seated.) My wife had the grilled rainbow trout with fresh green beans and red peppers. The two Caesar salads, two entrées (we drank only water), and 25% tip came to $90. Excellent service and two good meals.
We’ve traveled to Branson 2 or 3 times each year for many years. Most every time we make it a point to eat here. Seafood, steak, pasta, full bar & more. Good food, service & atmosphere.
A fine dinner for the former POW Crew of the USS Pueblo AGER-2. Thank you all for your kindness at Landrys
I've been wanting to try Landry's for years. Tonight, I finally pulled the trigger. While the menu is a little pricey (it's a fish house) I'm assuming the other dishes are as plentiful as the po boy, fries and onion straws dish that I ordered. The fresh bread they brought out before was awesome. When the brought out my oyster po boy and my brother's shrimp po boy, I was overwhelmed by the unexpectedly large portion size and plate. The remoule sauce was a fantastic addition to the fries and sandwich. Service was excellent. I will definitely return.
Had a really nice dinner. Fire roasted oysters were great, as good as ones I’ve had in New Orleans. House salads were good size, we opted for different dressing than the honey mustard vinaigrette. Blue cheese dressing is top notch. Crab cake dinner was delicious says my wife. I had the broiled seafood platter and enjoyed every bite. Our waiter Kevin was great & very attentive. Over all a very enjoyable experience.
this was the first time we've eaten here and everything was very good the food was perfect and service was great. I had the gumbo and it was just like you would expect in south Louisiana. The salads were huge.
One of the best "fine" dinners in Branson. Cool place with an upscale feel, lots of menu options. Clam chowder is worthy but strong on the bacon flavor, good wedge salad and the stuffed, bacon wrapped shrimp was the winner and came highly recommended. Great stop in the heart of the strip.
What an amazing dining experience! We were promptly seated and warmly greeted by Kevin, who took excellent care of us throughout the evening. His attentive service truly elevated our visit and made the night special. The food was absolutely outstanding! I ordered the snow crab with a house salad, and I have to say—they were the best, most perfectly cooked crabs I’ve ever had. My dad went with the blackened swordfish and was equally impressed. Every bite was flavorful and expertly prepared. To top it off, we shared the bread pudding and the key lime pie for dessert—both were phenomenal. The bread pudding was rich and comforting, and the key lime pie had the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. We highly recommend Landry’s to anyone looking for top-notch seafood and exceptional service. And when you go—ask for Kevin! We’ll definitely be back soon!
Paul provided excellent service. We arrived near closing but did not feel rushed at all. We were able to enjoy our meals. Great food and drinks. Thank you.
Excellent food and service larger portions than I expected. We could have easily shared a meal.
Amazing food and great service. We really enjoyed our experience.
We had a wonderful experience at Landry's seafood House. Our server was very nice and by a slight misunderstanding we were able to talk to the manager even though we didn't need to bother her. I told the server that the fish doesn't heat well and didn't want to take it home. She thought I said it didn't eat well and sent the manager over to talk to us. We had the snapper and a steak, both were cooked very nicely. We really like the bread putting dessert!
Jacob was great. we had the fondue, pasta and surf and turf. the food was pretty good. the valentines drink was really good! Everything was pretty backed up since it was a holiday but it was understandable
My husband and I just recently dined here for our Christmas lunch/early dinner. We were extremely pleased and enjoyed this experience very much...the combination of delicious seafood and impeccable service from our waiter equaled the perfect Christmas meal! I had the broiled seafood platter and he the blackened mahi mahi. Both were served very fast, hot and fresh. But I have to give 5 stars to our waiter, Hymee (sp?) It was very busy, Christmas day, and I have never seen a waiter work a room like Hymee. He was so pleasant, precise and such a pleasure...we love Hymee!! I tipped well over 30% which is very rare...and we will be back soon, hopefully to be taken care of by Hymee!
We had a phenomenal birthday celebration at this restaurant. Our server, Mike (Roche) went above and beyond to give us excellent service. He was extremely attentive, and anticipated our every need, ie: drink refills, more bread etc. The food was excellent, especially my grilled lobster tail, and our other entrées were tasty and plentiful. Mike detailed what ingredients were in all our dishes and asked about allergies upfront. Our evening was topped off by a complimentary dessert sundae, which was delicious. Mike is definitely an asset to this restaurant with his pleasant and caring manner.
Took my girlfriend here and we had the best service from Bernice and Katrina at the bar. We ordered so many different food items and all were fantastic. Especially the lobster tail. I will make the drive just for that! We ordered the crawfish bread, crab cake, sirloin and lobster, and the broiled seafood platter. Everything was excellent.
We were seated by a lovely hostess at almost 5:00 pm (we are early birds). Waiter- Kevin- arrived promptly and kept every stage of our meal moving at a perfect pace. From the nice cold beer and appetizers, warm loaf of buttery bread to the main courses-steak- perfection! Tail- small but perfectly cooked. Shrimp, fried fish ....now I've just made myself hungry! Do yourself a favor and go! Comfortable dining room with plenty of space for large groups as well as more intimate seating.
It was delicious food. We enjoyed ourselves very much there. It is elegant dinning at the best. Their food is favorable and the chicken was juicy and not dry. Definitely going back when we come back down
They treated us like we were royalty. Started with a employee coming into work welcoming us, then the most thoughtful hostess, then Katrina our server was the best. She assured us our food would be perfect, even with our modifications. The Chef made us a superb lunch. This team came together to make our dining experience very enjoyable.
Do your self a favor and go here!!!!!! We happened to get there during happy hour and the food and service was amazing!!!!!! We really enjoyed Katrina and Kevin. I didn't get the two hostesses names, but everyone is so kind! I even texted my Dad telling him to bring my Mom when they got a chance!!!!!! We had the best time ❤️
Kevin was our waiter and he was very informative, attentive, courteous, professional, and hilarious. The food and drinks were delicious. We even had a great view from our table. The colors on the trees were beautiful bright shades of reds & yellows!!!
Our server (Paul) was awesome. I could not have asked for a nicer, more engaging server. The manager also checked in on us and she was lovely. It was my partners 30th and we wanted to get some seafood. Highly recommend the fondue. You wouldn’t think cheese and seafood goes together, but it really does. I ordered a “Tom Collin’s” (an off the menu drink) and received a fantastic cocktail. Hats off to the staff here, they really make the experience.
My wife and I enjoyed Landry's during our recent visit to Branson. We started with the seafood stuffed jalapenos. For dinner my wife had the stuffed flounder and I had the red fish etouffee. To finish we shared the bananas foster. Everything was wonderful, but what made the visit special was the outstanding service. Abigail was wonderful, took excellent care of us, and made our visit special. I can't recommend Landry's enough.
Well this is our second time here in Branson and this time it's for the holidays. So my wife really wanted to go to this restaurant and it was a debate because I thought she was talking about the outback and seafood restaurant. Well here's the review we got in around 9:30 on a Friday night and we were able to get seated pretty quick. The waitress was nice and made a great suggestion for an appetizer drinks. Everything came on time. Very courteous. Respectful. What else could you ask for? The appetizer that we had was the fondue. Really really good. It just was short a few pieces of let's say scallops and crawfish for the price but very good. Now for our main course my wife had the seafood pasta and I had the flounder. My wife's pasta. It was really good after she added salt and pepper. It really could have used some Cajun seasoning with a little bit of sodium but the salt and pepper did its job. Really good taste that was brought out. For mine the halibut which I've had before different ways not at this restaurant. But I'm just saying I've had this fish. It was good but it wasn't a big portion. It was stuffed and the stuffing was good and the flounder was good but I just was expecting more especially for the price this halibut you can see in the pictures was good but I just was expecting more for roughly $30 after all is said and done. It was always good to enjoy dinner with my wife but just fell short of the expectations because of the lack of certain seasonings. And for the price our total bill was about $111 no liquor. So if you want to try this place out I think it tastes really good but don't expect Hardy portions. Okay great atmosphere, no complaints. Everything was really really nice but just be advised if you're expecting a hearty portions for the price it's not happening. We did try the dessert which was key lime pie and it wasn't bad. I think next time we should eat the dessert there.
The food was good. Service was a little off, due to the inexperience of the server we had. However the manager is very attentive to the patrons and makes sure everything continues to run smoothly.
My first time visiting this restaurant because of a suggestion from an employee at our resort hotel. The food took about 20 minutes to come out would be the reason for the low service score when the the place wasn't busy on a Monday evening. It is definitely a bit expensive for food that was not out of the ordinary tasting but it was hot and I was starving lol
Got a 10% off from our hotel. Went in for dinner as it was next door, and experience was good. Food was average and didn’t live up to the sticker price, but overall satisfactory. Drink was phenomenal though, actually better than the food, sadly.. Service was top notch. Our server at the bar was very friendly and helpful! It was our least favorite food eatery thus far in Branson. Still, conveniently located and we just walked down to it!
So we enjoyed Landry's. We sat on the patio because it was a beautiful evening, and despite the fact we weren't inside, we never felt abandoned. The food was really good. I felt it was a bit pricey, but what isn't these days. The four stars is due to the fact it is on the Branson strip. The traffic is horrid! Otherwise, it's worth a stop!
Very nice place to eat. I go to Branson a lot, but this was the first time I have eaten there and it was very good. I had the $17 lunch special with the salmon and a salad and it was a very good value for the price. Will definitely eat there again. Service was very good as well. I thought the calamari appetizer was also good
We had a wonderful dinner at Landry’s in Branson! The atmosphere was great, but the highlights were definitely the kitchen and the staff. • The Food: We started with the calamari appetizer, which was perfectly prepared—not rubbery at all and very flavorful. For the main course, I went with the ribeye, and it was cooked exactly to my liking, juicy and well-seasoned. My wife ordered the surf n turf, and she loved the quality of both the steak and the seafood. Everything was delicious. • The Service: Our server was terrific. They were attentive without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Overall, it was a high-quality dining experience. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!
The food wasn't worth the price. Must admit I was very disappointed. The service was slow... lobster was overcooked... and our server was subpar. We actually wanted a dessert but she didn't ask... just offered to bring the check as of she was ready to leave.
$200+ very disappointed. It was our anniversary dinner and ordered the same meal. My husband steak was rare, mine medium well, both ordered medium. No flavor at all! Asparagus was flavorless as well . We dined at Landrys in San Antonio on our Honeymoon, it was Fantastic!
Our waitress Mallory was so friendly and brought us our dinner and drinks promptly.
We had a higher expectation for the service we received. The bartender/server was sweet but the appetizer and soup and salad took more than 30 minutes to arrive. The appetizer plate was hot so clearly it had been sitting for a while under the heat lamps. I understand a long wait if the restaurant was busy but there were only a few tables full in the entire restaurant. Food was good when received. Grey goose dirty martini was awesome.
First, I was not impressed with the service. The restaurant was not busy but we arrived at 5:40 pm and didn't leave until 7:50 pm because the service was so slow. We didn't order appetizers nor dessert, just dinner. 2 of the 5 people waiting 40 minutes for their beer to be delivered. Food for the most part was good. It did arrive hot and every one like their food. I had the seafood pasta and it was tasty. My complaint about the food is that the three if us that ate fried oysters were in the bathroom all night!! Just saying!
Sadly, our experience wasn't what we expected, as we had read up on Landry's and had been recommended to dine here. We went to the bar first as we were early for our dinner reservation. The bartender was great. She was fully engaged and made delightful recommendations for a pre-dinner cocktail, which we all enjoyed. Once seated, our waiter was good. Meals came. My meal was ok, and my mom's salmon was delicious. I hadn't realized my fish would be fried, but it was good. I'm just not a big fan of fried fish. The sautéed shrimp were excellent, as were the vegetables. My sister told the waiter, who was really busy and stopped back quite a long time after meal was served, that her tilapia fish tasted bad when he asked about our meals, and she didn't eat it. She was enjoying her vegtables, and had shared some of my dinner. The Manager came to our table and asked about the meal, and was rather rude. She left the table, abruptly taking my sister's plate. The waiter brought our bill, in which my sister's meal was fully credited, BUT the manager marked the reason for credit was that customer didn't like the food. That wasn't the case. Her tilapia tasted bad, spoiled, something wasnt right. She received 2 pieces and tried them both, and both had a bad taste. Tilapia is her favorite and knows how it should taste. My sister was upset by the statement on the receipt, and put a written note on the bill stating the reason for this full meal credit, which we never asked for, was the fish was bad. The manager's actions completely soured our experience. Rudeness of management prevailed, we won't recommend or go back. Landry's might want to consider educating this manager on the importance of good customer service, how to handle herself appropriately without demeaning their customers, or maybe they need a new manager! This was completely mishandled. We were not rude, just honest. For those wondering, we did leave a favorable tIp for the waiter. This was not his fault. I gave 4 stars for service as bartender was great and waiter was good. I feel 3 stars was maybe a bit high for food, but my mom loved her salmon and I enjoyed my shrimp and vegetables. Our drinks helped bring that up a bit too. Atmosphere to me is all the sights and sounds of my surroundings...Manager knocked that down considerably to a 2. Other than her, and bad tilapia, it was a nice place. This review could have easily been a whole lot different.
Let me start by saying our waiter Jamie A. Was amazing. If you are able to ask for a server he is the best, very warm, kind and accommodating. When we visit Branson we always eat here my wife ordered a steak, and she could hardly eat it because it was so tough. The manager of the restaurant was amazing she was very accommodating and made it right. I will be back because I believe in second chances...
For the two us us, we shared an appetizer, each of us had a cup of clam chowder, an entrée and one drink. It was over $130.00. Our entrees came out warm at best. I believe the bartender had runners bringing out her food, and the guests after we were seated were almost done eating by the time we received our food. Neither one of us ate even half our dinner, and not because it wasn't hot. The clam chowder was better than the chefs special, but still just fair. We threw our leftovers away. What a waste of money.
