We decided to go on a date night for sushi. This restaurant is FANTASTIC! The food is delicious, and our server was so kind and wonderful. I ordered the West Cali roll, and my husband ordered the Super Crunch roll. For dessert, we got their mochi. We got all three flavors (strawberry, vanilla, and mango) and agreed that the mango is the best. We plan on being back! EDIT 1/11/26: We ended up going back because I was craving sushi so bad. We shared the Southwest Cali roll and a serving of their crab rangoons. Everything was still delicious!
Just discovered the ramen at this restaurant. Superb. And my son loved the sushi.
They have tons of options to choose from, from hibachi steak and eel sushi to miso soup and salads. They even have a nice selection of alcohol and wine. My favorite dish is the black dragon. Eel, shrimp, and eel sauce make this roll the best, hands down. Come here if you want a nice meal and good service.
New Tokyo has New Owners and a new manager And what a difference! The manager, Teresa, Walks through and makes sure customers are happy and enjoying themselves and thanks diners for coming in. We watched her as she walked through, helping her servers remove used plates from tables and bring extras to those who asked. She stopped at our table and we had a nice chat. David was our most excellent server tonight ! He was polite, professional, and would stop every so often to check on us, make sure we were happy with our orders, see if we needed anything, all the good stuff. He was very attuned to the needs of the customers at his tables. Total Pro! Tonight I ordered the Spicey Tuna Nacho appetizer with the Kiss of Fire as my main course. It was All super Yummy. The portions were a healthy size so we got what we paid for.
The food is unbelievably OUTSTANDING, I came in to pickup an order, the staff were so nice that they even gave us free appetizers!! Truly a 10/10 experience overall! I HIGHLY recommend this place to everybody! ❤️🔥

One of two favorite eating places in Harrison. We always order Lord of the Rings. We also got The Gorilla. We are repeat visitors here because the food is good, people are nice, and a good atmosphere.
Amazingly delicious! Some of the best sushi I have had in Arkansas. 🤤 The Sour Patch was bright and spicy. The Dragonfly was a nice mix of a cooked and raw roll with the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura. And the steak on my friends NY roll was cooked perfectly. One of the better sushi meals I have had in a long time. And one of the coolest menus ever. I kept it to look at while I waited on my rolls... 🤤
This is our spot in town for Sushi. I've eaten at a lot of Japanese steakhouses and this spot can not beat when it comes to portions and affordability. They have the best crab ragoons, in fact I can't even order them anywhere else because they don't even compare to New Tokyo Harrison!
First time eating here. It's delicious! Their yum yum sauce is the best. They have a very large selection as well. I'm so full and still have a lot of food left to eat. Our server's name was Paige and she is amazing! She's one of the most polite and upbeat servers I've had the privilege to meet. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
I stumbled upon this restaurant on my way to Mountain Home on a business trip. Service was prompt and friendly. I was quite surprised to meet 2 of the Indonesian servers in this part of town since I speak the same language. I also had another young gentlemen as my server.
My wife and I have been here a few times. Food was always good. Service was more hits than misses.
Love going here always try to arrive in before 5 and always been on time. How ever I arrived with the family and host said there's a waiting time of about 15 min that "short staff" it was total of 5 table being accupide totally disappointed 😞 she was or try to hold us back so by the time we got a seat it would have been after 5 and the promo would have expired o well there lost came to another place portion way much bigger!! Don't get me wrong I'll come back next time I'll call before I do drive from BV to harrison and still have to wait 15 min is not nice
Stopped by while passing through. We got the chicken and shrimp meal, noodle meal, and the south cali roll and added shrimp for $2. It came to $62 total. Why is did 4/5 instead of 5/5 My Fiancé asked if he could do no veggies and she said he could do extra noodles but didn't tell us it was an additional 1.50. Just would've liked to know. When asked what sauce we wanted I asked for teriyaki she said yes. Didn't say anything about it costing $4. I could've bought a bottle at Walmart across the street for cheaper than that. Overall was an amazing experience. The sushi, meals, my veggies all was amazing. The onion soup was a 15/10 and salad was a great portion.
Service was excellent. The waitstaff seated us quickly & took our order immediately. Food was fast. We missed lunch which disappointed me. I can’t eat much at a time. I feel the dinner portions are too much food & expensive. I lived in Japan for many years so it’s very hard to find Japanese food that appeases me. I felt that the teriyaki flavoring was a bit bland. It’s a one and done for me.
They didn't answer their phone to reserve table so we could get on a list to get a grill tabl. 10 min to get drinks after order. ?another worker? Came to our table talking about someone not getting food. Got food in 15 mins after ordering. Had to get someone else to get refills on our drinks. When we got drinks bk she handed all 4 of us the wrong drinks. Brought us dessert we didn't order
Food was cool / lukewarm, rice couldn't decide if it was sticky or fried, staff was friendly but forgot to get us our appetizer we ordered. Food was edible but not great, definitely not worth the ninty three dollar bill, before tip, for a family of four.
Chicken teriyaki smells really bad hard and thuff to eat not any good $15 hard pass
Rangoons were not fresh like they came out in 3 minutes and were tough. hibachi was laughable for the price, sushi was super thin slices of fish and not very good. Surprisingly expensive for lunch the rice served with hibachi was of basic quality. We should have eaten at home. Server was nice and attentive. Overall experience made us sad and depressed not joking my gf teared up from her hibachi.... took her to Culvers for curds custard
My family and I were traveling through Harrison, and decided to try something new to eat besides the usual fast foods. We ended up going here to eat. Upon walking in the front door, we were met with a strange funky smell, and a few flies. We were seated pretty quickly, but it took around eight minutes before someone finally came by to see if our order had been filled. It was not, and they had no clue who was supposed to be waiting us. Around five minutes later or waitress came and got our order. We ordered the steak and chicken with a side salad. While we waited for our food, a bug (that looked like either a waterbug or cockroach) ran onto our table. We had to knock it off and kill it. Let me tell you that that really made us lose our appetite. We never got the salads that we paid for. When we finally got our food, the rice was very bland and dry. The steak was so bad that none of us ate it. The chicken wasnt amazing but it was ok. The vegetables were cold. We announced to the waitress that our steak tasted off, but only said sorry and did nothing about it. Overall the food was gross, the inside of the restaurant was dirty, smelly, and bug/fly ridden, the servers took forever, and we spent 60 dollars on food we didn’t eat/get. The waitress was nice but not very helpful. My two cents is to never eat here unless you are about to die of starvation or like taking health risks!
Terrible about picking up the phe and basically I call that service, look at the grease couldn’t eat it and chicken and rice was same way heart attack waiting to happen. This is after this place has been with new people. It totally changed food quality wise I mean look at the grease on that soup. We had to throw both of them away and throw most of all of it away. I mean really, and it didn’t even have no flavor. This is the third time this has happened. I’m not going anymore.
