Max Donuts

A true gem, fabulous donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The staff are great, I the owners are wonderful, very efficient and friendly, they have walk in and drive through service. The coffee is great and the jelly filled donuts are my favourite.

Grew up in Brenham and moved away when I was 18. My mom would take us to Max Donuts whenever we passed tests in school. Every time we visit I look forward to stopping by Max Donuts and I always recommend people go there that are visiting! Best donuts I’ve ever had!

The hot donuts are to die for! And the spicy boudin kolaches are awesome too. Everything is delicious and fresh.

This little donut shop was a bustling little joint which is usually a good indication of a good business. We were not disappointed! Very friendly accommodating service/staff and the selection was fantastic! Loved the donuts and option to drink your coffee out of a cafe mug while sitting comfortably. Plenty of seating and clean, open atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to this donut shop with a cafe twist!

Max is my go to for potato, egg and cheese breakfast burritos 🌯 . Glazed donut holes are another personal favorite. Simple food made on site. A Brenham tradition for sure!

Alma is the greatest! She does a great job and she knows how to treat customers. She's beautiful too! The food is great too, the sandwiches and the donuts are yummy and the coffee is top notch as well

I love love love Max's Donuts. I go to school in San Antonio and do I miss the fresh donut holes and glazed donuts. No one else can compete! I am not a sweets person but I love maxs donuts! It does get busy so try to get there early before they are sold out for the day!

Excellent donuts. Crumb is very airy and light, always fresh and crisply glazed. Breakfast croissants are also recommended. Prices are great, plus the staff is always fast and courteous. Very clean facility. Parking lot can be busy but it's manageable. This is our go-to place for donuts!

Place could use a refresh, it's an older building. Lots to choose from. I love apple fritters however their fritters were very skimpy on the apple, dough was dense not very crispy! Will however give them another try.

The reason for that rating is that I came in to buy some walnut cinnamon rolls and I was disappointed in how small they are and how dry the dough is. I still like their pastries, but I remember when that item was of better quality. The day I bought this item, four cinnamon rolls fit into the box, but back when they first opened, only two could fit and they were not stingy with the walnuts or icing and that cinnamon flavor was throughout the dough, no day old tasting donuts. I don't buy them for my friends anymore because the quality and sizes has definitely changed.

I went 1st Sunday and got 2 koslacki they were okay after heating up. And 2 cream cheese filled donuts, very dry maybe day old. Maybe a bad day i will try again.
