Gabby and Justin are phenomenal! Their efficiency and personalities really make the experience fun and keep us coming back! The food is great too.

I always sit at the bar. GAVIN by far is one of the most knowledgeable, professional and FUN bartenders I have encountered. Best wings in the area. Food is always good.

We frequent Urban Coalhouse on a regular basis and absolutely love the vibe and atmosphere! Gabby makes every visit a delightful experience! In addition to her bubbly personality she is extremely efficient and accommodating. She is a treasure and we love her!

Love this place! Gabi and Gavin are my absolute favs!! Great local spot for football with these two. Wings, Brussels sprouts and spinach dip are *chef’s kiss.*

This place is nice, food was great, but what compelled me to write a review was the exceptional service..My waitress was melissa i highly recommend being seated with her fast funny and all around nice you can tell she cares about the customer!!!! I will be back for more pizza!!!

I loved the wings and the pizza was surprisingly excellent, I grew up on Brooklyn pizza my opinion the best so I compare everyone to Brooklyn pizza and turns out the owners are from Brooklyn 😊and they make just the way I grew up loving ❤️ it brings back great memories in my youth with my family and my cousins from LI we’d meet in Brooklyn to visit my Grandparents Thank you , our waitress Laurie was so friendly and helpful she was excellent, my only suggestions to make scarpiello wings and add Chicken broth to the Orecciette with sausage and broccoli rabe dish

Been going here for years! The food quality is honestly the best in Brick…especially the wings! not fried and my husband loves them…absolutely delicious! The bar atmosphere is amazing. Amazing, kid-friendly joint with a very good beer list and fantastic coal-fired pizzas. Our server Jules was adorable and such a pleasure. I’ve been to a ton of these kinds of places over the years and this is one of the best! Definitely bring the crew for great food and exceptional service!!

Enjoyed an outstanding meal at the Urban Coalhouse. The pumpkin espresso martini was good, but the pork schnitzel special from their Oktoberfest menu stole the show. Absolutely outstanding dish with a yummy and well-balanced lemon-garlic sauce, served with a side of warm German potato salad (possibly better than my mom's, shhhh). Really delicious and I hope they add this to their regular menu. Kendyl provided great service with the right amount of attention. I'll be back.

Amanda the general manager made it a point to stop by and see how our experience was and was very warm a welcoming. Our server Toni was very prompt and attentive. Thanks to the amazing staff for incredible experience.

It's our go to for pizza every Friday night. They have the best Ceasar salad. Pizza is excellent! Service is always top notch. Laurie has been our server many times, and she is the best. Highly recommend Uban Coalhouse.

First time here. The calamari was t he best ive ever had . Great pizza. Our server laurie was awesome. She was a 10. Definitely coming back. We want her as our server. This is my new spot. Ty .

Love sitting at the bar when Gavin is working. He's the best bartender around. Food's always great- had the chicken fingers, sweet heat pizza and an apple salad. Like the atmosphere and the bar I only give four stars though because the music is wayyy too dance-y. Oh shit I think some mello rock would suit the place and people in better.

One day after shopping at Costco I decided to stop over for some lunch, the bartender Toni was amazing.She's more than a bartender she's a mixologist. Not only does she makes the best drinks, her service and attentiveness is out of this world. The food is mediocre, but Toni and her service makes it 5 stars for me.

We come in and sit in the bar area quite often! Gabby is the best bar tender and server ever! Very attentive and always making sure our drinks are full! Gavini comes in a close second to Gabby! Naia and Ava are the best smiling faces when we walk in!

We came for the Steelers game and sat at a table at the bar, Gabby was amazing super attentive to our needs as well as our children who came to eat with us. We never waited for anything and felt comfortable sitting and watching the game. There was no pressure to move or leave. We will be back soon!

I pass this place every day for years and never stopped in. I’m so glad I did tonight. The pizza was delicious, eggplant rollatini was amazing as was the tomato sauce. Julia was very attentive and not pushy.

This place always has great food and amazing service. The waitress Kendyl did a fantastic job she was very accommodating and super friendly. She checked on us and made sure everything was good and we were happy that’s what all waitresses should be doing. I would definitely come back and ask for Kendyl she’s super sweet !! It was such a great night thank you urban coal house I will be back !!

We had such a positive experience. The food was so good that I didn’t have to tell the kids to finish, they just did. Julia was a pleasant server who got us what we needed with a smile. We def recommend!

This was my first visit. The smell when you walk in is enough to make you stay. We ordered drinks that were great, the bartender was fun, and the staff was friendly. We ordered fried calamari, the chicken ranch flatbread, artichoke pizza, and spinach and articoke dip. Everything was delicious. I was surprised. IF I had to say something negative, the waitresses/servers shouldn't all be fixing their lipgloss next to the tables, and the dip was a little burned, but the flavor was good.

Urban Coal House Pizza and Bar in Brick New Jersey has a great vibe and solid menu. The wood fired pizzas hit the spot and the cocktails are creative and well mixed. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was friendly when they actually had the chance to chat. Plenty of TVs and a comfortable setting make it a fun spot for a casual night out. Now for the downside. There was a noticeable fruit fly problem during my visit. They were buzzing around my head and landing on the table more than I was comfortable with. It was annoying enough to be distracting but not so bad that I walked out. Definitely something the management should address right away. The food deserves credit. The pizza crust is crisp on the outside and chewy in the center. The toppings are fresh and the portions generous. I tried a couple of appetizers that were hit or miss but mostly tasty. One of the bartenders even recommended a seasonal pie that was surprisingly good. We also got the lobster roll, and you can definitely skip this. Not a lot of lobster versus a lot of roll. Could have been cooked better as well. I think the best part was the beer selection and the service. We were greeted quickly with a smile, got a table and enjoyed great service from a very bright and happy waitress. We were made to feel welcome and when I asked for a taste of a few beers there wasn't anything but a generous "you got it!" So it comes down to this. If they get the fruit fly situation under control this could easily be a four star place. For now I’d call it three and a half. Good food and a fun setting but please fix the bug issue.

Last two times I was here Gabby has checked in on me and made sure my visit was the absolute best. Her and the bartenders make my time here Pleasant and comfortable

Enjoyed pizza, garlic bread and some wings. Food was great as always. Service was a bit slow and then at the end, somehow my credit card got lost coming back from their register. The server and manager both acted like I had something to do with it. Just very disappointing that no one seemed to care. We won't be returning.

The hot honey buffalo chicken sandwich is delish. Had the San Danielle Pizza was alright, Not a fan of the red sauce. Truffle Gruyere & Onions Burger is my usual yummy main course. The French fries are good, tiny but very crunchy. The chicken wings are aight. Good servers, Atmosphere is a shade too dark in my opinion.

I really love eggplant parm and usually order it if it's on the menu.Urban Coalhouse takes the lazy way. They take layers of eggplant, top it ,with cheese and sauce and heat it up. For good eggplant parm you coat the layers of eggplant with bread crumbs and saute in olive oil til nice and crispy. then you put the dish together and bake it. Won't order that again.

While the "dining in" may be wonderful my commentary is regarding their takeout. I recently ordered a large pie and was greatly disappointed. First off the appearance of the box was like someone had sat on it. Then it was raining on the day in question and 4 of the slices in my pie were wet. Lastly when I called I was told by the manager that because they use a 3rd party to deliver there was nothing he could do. Here is my thought, first their pizza boxes should come with a quality seal to ensure that it doesn't come open while being carried and this would ensure product integrity. Second, they should have disposable paper covers for days when it rains to keep the boxes dry and water out of the product. Lastly they should do better at customer service as 3rd party delivery people don't have to ensure the quality of their product. That's the restaurants responsibility no matter if it's dining in or delivery. Would they blame the server if a person's meal was presented or prepared the wrong way?? With that being said this is the ABSOLUTE last time I order from this restaurant.

We came for happy hour to find out we were not able to have because we were sitting in dining room .l find high tops not comfortable. Then wanted sangria it was week 3 weeks in row . Then wanted shrimp scami pie to find it was not available 😒

One of the worst dining experience I’ve had in years. They forgot our appetizers and then the server said they were short handed in the kitchen and it would take too long. Also claimed we didn’t ask for them first which we absolutely did. Then didn’t bring everyone’s lunches at the same time. About 15 minutes in between. My pizza was pretty ice cold even though I waited for it. Horrible food and service. We will not go back. Really disappointed.

My girlfriend and I got burgers. I asked the waitress for mine well done and my girlfriend wanted hers medium. The waitress tells us they don't cook it the way you want it and that it comes out how it comes out....well, they were both cooked the opposite of how we wanted it, and had to send them back. I got a water and my girlfriend got an iced tea. When we got the check, we got charged for 3 iced teas, but only had one. When we sent the bill back, they only took one off...it took so long, we just left.
