We came here as a group of girls and had an amazing time! Mia, ella and Charlie were amazing and really made our night. Food was sooo good and such good deals available. :)

Joined the Square Club a few months ago and I'm delighted with it. SQ is one of Bristol's best kept secrets and now I know why. Super friendly team, great location, lovely environment for working, and gorgeous food. 100% recommend.

We had a fantastic dinner at The Square Club in Bristol. The food was excellent, full of flavour and great value for money. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. Special thanks to Nadia for her fantastic and attentive service—she really made the evening extra special.

Our first time back at the Square since we got married in May. We were welcomed with open arms, given a complimentary glass of bubbly for my birthday. The food was excellent, the staff were welcoming, polite and friendly, they made us want to come back and visit soon. Thanks to Emma and Charlie for a great evening. We will be back.

Great food, the lamb was immense. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel (Mia who is new was very assiduous, well done). Would highly recommend this place.

We had our wedding here in July and the Square Club was the absolutely perfect venue! The food was lovely, the terrace was excellent to catch up with everyone and enjoy some drinks in the sun, and the bar was an ideal dancefloor for some late night tunes! Our coordinator Hannah was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on the day as she ensured everything went smoothly and we never had to worry any of the logistics. Would definitely recommend!

1st visit to The Square Club and everything was Perfect. Easy Parking, friendly cozy atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Emma our hostess was also really bright and helpful.

Delighted with unique gluten free options . Food was tasty and well thought out . Millie who was the waitress, added to making a lone diner feel at ease . Great escape from the bustle of life . Note , I was an early diner , so can’t really comment on the atmosphere

We absolutely love the square club. The onion madelines with camembert is genuinely one of the best things I've eaten in my entire life! The space is stunning and filled with art from local artists, and the service is impeccable. We were helped by Charlie who was so lovely and really made our dinner special. Can't wait to come back!

First Meal Absolutely excellent. Service by Nadia was impeccable. She timed her interactions well and was always polite. Food was brilliant. Loved the tuna starter followed by a beautifully cooked medium rare fillet steak before dessert (single scoop of strawberry ice cream). The rose on offer by the glass was excellent and paired well with my meal. Also bonus points for being dog friendly ❤️ Second Meal This place continues to exceed my expectations and Emma provided the excellent service this time. She was super kind, patient and friendly. She was brilliant. This time I went for the arancini balls followed by lamb main and the banana sorbet, along with several glasses of the Pinot rosé. My worry was that it would be too much but this chef and the portions are perfection. All the 'sides' with each meal is so complimentary I was stunned how good everything tasted. LOVE this place and upset it is not closer to 'home'. ❤️ PS If torn between steak and lamb I'd recommend the lamb 🥰

We had our wedding reception here in August. The venue is gorgeous, the garden terrace was perfect for a summer party and created such a good atmosphere with the guests. It was busy but plenty of space for everyone to mingle. The team have been so helpful throughout the process and really responsive. They helped throw a great party and everyone had a fantastic night. Thanks, would highly recommend!!

Never fails to impress. Outstanding value and faultless service. We have been coming here for years and have always appreciated the understated high end dishes and chilled but swanky vibes. Bristol's best kept secret. Happy valentines !

Went to the square club for their Valentine’s Day set menu, we had a fabulous time and each meal was creatively crafted and tasted delicious. Clean plates all round! Our waitress Charlie was lovely and even put on a banging set list for the evening. Great vibes on Valentine’s Day 🥰

Such a wonderful venue. Ellie and Hannah managed our requests before the event with calmness, the meal at the dinner in the evening was commented on by many guests to me just how good it was, and the service impeccable. The setting was lovely and they were somehow managing a second event downstairs at the same time we didn't even notice taking place. Such a wonderful evening, I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful venue in Bristol.

We recently had our wedding at The Square Club on 4 October 2025, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue itself is stunning—truly beautiful and unique. Everything ran seamlessly thanks to how incredibly well-organised the team was. A special shoutout to our wedding coordinators, Ellie and Hannah. Their support throughout the entire process was fantastic; they went above and beyond to ensure our day was stress-free and exactly as we envisioned. We genuinely could not have asked for more. We booked our wedding ceremony, reception and evening party at the Square Club and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a quirky and classy venue which was perfect for our wedding with 50 guests. From first contact, the wedding coordinating team gave us every confidence and handled everything extremely professionally without once losing sight of how we wanted our day to be. Our guests all commented on how lovely the food and venue was. The food was of a quality you would expect when fine dining for two and they managed to serve 50 guests with the same brilliant quality. Our photographer found it a great venue and setting to capture our day. Hannah, Ellie and the whole team including all waiting staff were just brilliant, they listened to us and delivered the perfect day,

We had an absolutely brilliant wedding day at the Square Club a couple of weeks ago! The planning process was straightforward, and the team made everything so easy, which was great as both my husband and I were hoping for a relaxed wedding. The venue itself is lovely but not too formal which we liked, and the food, drinks, service, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The team went above and beyond in being flexible and accommodating, especially when my husband had some last-minute dietary requirements arise just a week before the wedding day. Their willingness to make those adjustments really helped reduce our stress and helped him to enjoy the day. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the whole team, but particularly to Jasmine, our wedding coordinator, who was such a great help both before the day and on the day; Dan, who ensured my family got down the aisle on time; and Keegan & Missy, who worked behind the bar in the evening and were so friendly and helpful. Thank you again to everyone at the Square Club for making our day truly unforgettable!

We recently got married at the Square Club and absolutely loved our day. We only had 3 months to plan the wedding and were so impressed with the team's efficiency and attention to detail. Our wedding coordinator, Hannah, was particularly supportive and, along with Charlie on the day, ensured that everything went smoothly. We were so relaxed and knew they had everything sorted before we'd even thought about it! The food was great (and plentiful) and they were particularly attentive to allergies. Having the hotel attached and the breakfast send off was also a massive bonus. The evening bar staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much!

We hired the restaurant here for the drinks reception and meal for our wedding here this summer and it was brilliant! All the staff - every single one, reception, management and servers - were extremely friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful, the food was great, they pulled out the stops for some picky children. Highly recommend!

Great venue for any type of function! Spent NYE there and I would definitely do it again next year! It is a private members club. The vibe is very posh and elegant but can come across as snobby but I could easily see myself joining. Benefits are great. Food and drink were covered in the cosy of the ticket, therefore I am unable tell you the costs. The staff were extremely friendly.

Keegan made us amazing cocktails in the bar followed by first class food in the restaurant served by Beth and her colleague whose name we didn’t get but they were so attentive and friendly - we eat out a lot and this was second to none. Aidan the chef produced some incredible dishes - we will be back as soon as we can - thank you for a wonderful evening 👏

We wanted a relaxed, fun, and personal day. The Square really delivered in providing a smooth day that flowed perfectly. The venue felt full but not crowded, all the different elements of the venue make it so special. The food was also exquisite—all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it— and we felt like we could enjoy the day and focus on being with our guests. The Square is a perfect place for a mid-size or intimate wedding. Everyone we worked with was patient, lovely, and made our day. It was a pleasure working with everyone!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Visiting family in Bristol and was taken here. Ballotine of wild Boar and duck liver to start was an amazing texture.

Lovely outside dining, secret garden is a tucked away gem of a place. The food was delicious , chilled music and the service was great . Many thanks to all the staff especially Emma . Would recommend !

A perfect dinner with my girlfriend. The 10oz ribeye and leg of lamb were flavourful and hearty servings and the chocolate torte was a perfect ending. Special mention to our lovely server Nadia!

We had our wedding evening do in the downstairs bar and terrace. Would recommend it to anyone looking to do similar in central Bristol - the staff were helpful and went above and beyond from the outset, and the venue itself was perfect. Thank you, square club!

The Square Club is an amazing venue for a party! There is plenty of room if you need it but the heart of the venue is cozy and full of atmosphere.

Had our Christmas party at the square club brilliant evening great food and staff. We stayed the nite in the hotel which was equally impressive.

I recently visited The Square Club in Bristol and was genuinely impressed. What truly sets it apart is the ambience stylish and intimate, but not pretentious. We also tried the food, which was creative, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. Service was warm and attentive throughout. A perfect spot for date nights!

Absolutely fantastic from staff at front of house to bar staff waitresses and everyone else we didn't meet behind the scenes. The food was fantastic. The rooms spotless and extremely comfortable. Our son and now son-in-laws wedding was fantastic. This venue was perfect. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you

We went there for the company Christmas event. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice. It had a lovely outside area, which allowed you to talk away from he music and dance floor.

This really was the perfect venue for our party. The staff were friendly and helpful and looked after us beautifully and the setting was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend The Square Club for a party.

Starter of Mussels was very good, main of cod with saffron polenta was mediocre, cod great but accompaniments didn’t work, Asked if an espresso and with ice cream (affogato) was possible a told that it might not be because the coffee machine was turned off!!! It eventually came and was fine. The service was very dismissive and not very welcoming,

Booked a table for 12pm, and was told on arrival they have a party of 60 people and can only give me sandwiches. That was not what I came for, so I just left, quite disappointed with the fact I wasn't warned beforehand or given proper food options. I guess it's normal for Christmas time 😒
