Fresh prep, great customer service.

Had the shrimp fajitas with a salad... great flavor. We also ordered the combo plate, forgwhat it is called but it had chi,shrimp, and steak with rice and beans, yum! The Jamica water is refreshing. The red hot sauce is spicy but good. Definitely going back.

Easily the best Mexican food in SF proper. This is one of the few Jalisco style Mexican food spots in SF. The sea food is amazing and the portions on anything are great. The meat is always tasty and their salsa is amazing!

Normally good food and a clean restaurant is enough for 4-5 stars. But this place also has a salsa bar. On top of that, breakfast burritos have waffle fries in them. Yummy

I’ve been to both restaurants, but I will be driving all the way to Daly City for this restaurant. And the lady that took my order (JENNY) she was extremely helpful and nice.

Hi Family If you’re looking for a place to get some good Mexican food, you might want to stop by. I’ve had the chicken tacos and they are pretty good. I’ve also had the chicken burrito. I’m not for sure the name of it. I think it’s called the meat burrito and I also had their chicken salad which is the bom Pic in review. So if you ever in the area and you want some good Mexican food and you might wanna stop by this restaurant all right God bless.

1st time here I tried the torta de lengua it was delicious

The Pina Charra $24 was served on half a pineapple, filled with bacon, shrimps, octopus, bell peppers, onions, pineapple pieces drenched in a red sauce and topped with a bed of cheese. It took over 20 minutes for this to come out, piping hot. It took another 10 minutes for this to cool down before I can eat it. This was a melodies of flavors. The sour chopped pineapple pieces went well with the red sauce. This came with some saltine crackers. Generally, saltine crackers come with soup. This also came with two crispy tortillas. The shrimps were de-shelled with tail removed, but not deveined. Halfway through my meal, I realized this was meant for two people. It is a big dish. The highlight for me was the smoky bacon. It was a nice surprise to find bacon at a taqueria. Service was good for an order at the cashier type of restaurant. Their other location by SF State University has good taco salads. I will have to try it at this location. Good job staff at Taqueria Dos Charros. Lunch was OK today.

Ordered a super carnitas burrito to go for an early dinner. They offered me 3 small to go containers to fill with their salsa. Happily obliged and sampled all three which I found out later are all tasty :) My order was ready in less than 5 minutes and I was shocked at the weight of the bag. Super burrito will easily extend to 2 meals or you can split it with a lucky person. The carnitas tastes delicious, crispy and bursting with flavor, and special mention goes to the generous onions which added even more flavor and texture. Loved that they didn't include lettuce which has no place in a proper burrito. Paired with the salsas, it all makes for a very satisfying meal. I'd be curious to try the bar next time! Thank you TDC staff for being friendly and making meals a great experience there.

I got 6 tacos, 2 pastor, 2 carne asada, 2 carnitas. Solid portions the pastor and carnitas was the best. However the Restuarant was freezing inside. Wearing a hoodie and pants I was still cold.

Very clean spot ..However I ordered the Breakfast burrito.and menu says is comes with cottage fries ? .. Instead I was given some tortilla chips. Not the same...

Delicious! Loved their super carne asada burrito! Great flavor! Slightly less char and the steak would have been perfect. They give you free chips and salsa with your order for both dine-in and take-out that come with red, green (my fave) and orange creamy salsa. We got our food to go, but they definitely have an inviting atmosphere that we'd like to check out. Next time I'm trying their spinach tortilla. Ample regular seating (for a taqueria) limited bar section (though it looks like the beer is bottled and not on tap) plus they have those fancy large LCD menu screens that really elevate the space. The restaurant is immaculate, btw. Like, I saw them cleaning obviously clean surfaces with the same vigor you'd use if they were dirty because I guess they just have high standards? It's impressive. Minus one star only because it's kinda pricey for counter service and their super yummy, but small-ish portion size.

This place surprised me. I used to be a regular when this place was called taqueria Maria. I was skeptical about trying the food when I heard it was new owners, but decided to give it a go. I ordered a super burrito with carne asada. The burrito was bomb. Lots of flavor, the steak was juicy and tender. What I love is that you get a bite of everything each time you bite. They have a little salsa bar I got the tomatillo sauce and it was flavorful not my fav but went good with the burrito. The chips are good. It's nice that they have a chip station usually some places here give you chips so you have to ask for more if you eat them all. Overall a great place to grab a bite. The place is big also and has lots of seating. I will be coming back for sure to try the rest of the menu.

Good portions of food. Jumbo burrito is tasty and jumbo. Meats are seasoned well and fish tacos are standard and larger than regular tacos. Bar located inside. Would recommend.

Once I arrived home, I eagerly unwrapped this Goliath and indulged in the impressive behemoth. The burrito was delicious; it fully engaged my senses and captured the essence of great Mexican food. I was thoroughly impressed by both its size and flavor. This taqueria is truly a hidden gem among other establishments.

The menu is easy to read and very organized, from burritos to meals it's all listed with mouthwatering pictures and current prices. I ordered a pozole and super burrito carne to go. The wait can be a bit long, but it's a bit expected for a wait, also they charge $1.33 for a small thing of pico de gallo as you're given a lot of the other salsas. The pozole was hot and great when I brought it home and was flavorful, my super burrito on the otherhand lacked sour cream or maybe melted with all the juices of the pico and meat in the burrito. If it's something you're looking for in the area, I'll say usually it can satiate your craving for the moment, but this visit the carne asada was salty. The person who took my order was friendly and didn't have any problem giving my order. The restaurant was clean and was able to just sit and wait. This recent visit made me wonder if I'll visit again or maybe check another place in the area. We shall see next time, happy eatings!

3 times now they forget to put some of the food in the bag. Always have to go back and pick up. There food is good. It's embarrassing to have to keep explaining things in front of other people

I bought 2 burritos for my son & his girl friend a few nights ago. I grabbed a chip from his bag while driving and they were beyond stale. They told me that the food was salty and not very good. A bit higher than a Taqueria in th the Mission. They were consistently busy and I'm guessing its bcz there aren't too many Taquerias in the neighborhood. We sure won't be back, In and Out is just a block away.

Taqueria Dos Charros used to be one of my go-to spots, but after our most recent visit, my family and I left pretty disappointed with both the food and the service. I ordered the jumbo burrito, and it was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. The meat was overcooked to the point of being crunchy, which made the texture really unpleasant. The guacamole was watery and had a soup-like consistency, making the burrito soggy. Most of it was filled with lettuce and tomato, with very little substance otherwise. 3/10 We also tried the torta. It wasn’t terrible, but the meat was nearly cold and tasted like it may not have been freshly prepared. Overall, it was nothing special—better than the burrito, but still underwhelming. 6/10 We ordered four tacos as well. They were average, though the chorizo taco stood out as the best item we tried. Unfortunately, the salsas were disappointing across the board. They were watery and lacked flavor, and as a family that enjoys spicy food, we were let down by both the heat level and the limited salsa options. The service was standard for a counter-order spot. You place your order at the register and seat yourself. The staff weren’t particularly warm or welcoming, but they did bring the food to the table, which we appreciated.

A use to go this place alot ,until a see what I was paying of,beware of the prices,the menu in the wall say one price and when they charge you is another price,now if you ask ,they have the audacity 😤 to tell you is with the taxes,bud the taxes is charge in the end of the bill,also the service change alot,now they put the Diswasher to do the cash register...no courtesy like before. To bad 👎 😕 😪 use to be good.

Buyer beware, i went in to get some super nachos, on the board it said 14.99, but they were charging me 15.49, when i asked, they said it was the tax, but it clearly wasn't because at the bottom the tax was being charged separately, then they tried to say well the board is the online price or cash price, but when i said I'd pay cash, the price wasn't adjusted... 50 cents isn't the issue, it's the integrity of these businesses ripping the public off. I thanked them and said, no thank u...

I clearly saw how the person wrapping the burritos hand him a super burrito that was already cold on the side of the table(the burrito wasn’t even fresh) he put in to the grilled to warmed up ehile trying to distract me, and he expected me to accept it. After asking for a refund the Cashier denied to me. I also purchased an horchata and i was only gonna take that since they wanted to served me a cold burrito that they just added shrimp and salsa, the cashier denied me a refund. Thanks to you guys I wasted my whole lunch time there, I rather lose $20 bucks than getting sick from their food. I honestly thought they serve fresh and good quality food but I’m not recommending this place to anyone. Also I’ll investigate if its ok for a business to sell old cold food to the people. Obviously the burrito they tried to give me was there for a long minute. I don’t understand how people like this place…

When I contacted the restaurant to resolve the issue, the manager was rude, did not resolve the problem, and hung up on me and refused to provide her name. This place has been my favorite for months. They get a door dash order wrong out meat with my nachos I’m a vegetarian . Ok mistakes happen I call and see if they can make meatless version and this man on the phone argues with me for ten minutes about how I didn’t put in a special request (they have special requests blocked) and I choose no meat option. My friend drives down to pick up the new one HE DEMANDS and argues for the old one for twenty minutes before we get the new one???? We sent a picture of the one with meat and HE IS STILL ARGUING eventually my friend left and then he chased after her with the new nachos? I don’t know what kind of machismo 💩 this is he just wanted to prove a point. I’m so sad to loose my favorite taqueria.

It's carne assada plate dish was cooking very quickly, and I felt sick after eating it. I already complained once, and the manager isn't investigating.
