This place is lots of fun. Basically, You will come here to get drunk and play games. They have a massive jenga set in the back along with 2 pinball machines and a big Connect Four setup. Theres also a shuffle board table near the wall which is my personal favorite. The drinks are reasonably priced. I recommend the Margarade cocktail which is basically a gatorade/tequila (or gin, I dont recall correctly) concotion.

This was my first time at this restaurant, I had a hamburger with waffle fries and it was absolutely delicious. It's cozy and the gentleman who waited on me was pleasant. I definitely will be going back in the future 😌

J
Jade Myers

Great place to go for a fun but no frills atmosphere. Great drink specials and friendly staff plus they have games! Yay! I will definitely be going back.

The coffee slushy may be my guilty pleasure of the summer - and they have metal reusable straws!!

Always light, fun and neighborhood like...Mardi Gras here is super.fun with kneclesses provided. Vibrant gold, yellow, purple. Lionhead ipa and a range of draft beer and cocktail. Super yummy bar food for your soul when you need it serve everyday until 11pm or midnight. And if you are lucky you may find a local rising star or 2...

So you want to drink any drink out of an ice cold jug, want the best grilled cheese with tomato soup in NY & to play board games or a life sized Jenga/Connect 4, Here you go. This place rocks, especially in the afternoon.

Indispensable neighborhood watering hole for sharing events like election returns. The Drag Race viewing parties here are lit. Can’t go wrong with any of the food & drink menu.

Most relevant bar in the neighborhood. Great staff 🌈 🥰. Great ice cold affordable beer. And please try everything on the bar menu. Cheeseburger and boneless are a delicatessen. 🤤

S

Perfect go-to spot or for pregaming. Food is great, the staff is awesome, and the beers are ice cold. What more can you ask for? They even have a bunch of games.

Soooo much better than its neighbors A welcoming spot, with friendly bartenders.

Shuffle board, pinball machine jukebox, natgeo magazine covers on the ceiling... Lovely ambience, and not too crowded even on a Saturday night. Had a decent cider, too.

I'm a big fan of the Polish Boy Polish sausage with the Waffle Fries and Jalapeno Aioli.

Love this place can't wait till they open back up fully, super great vibes as well as crowd, BEER ALWAYS COLD👍🏻, bar food but done right and always a good time, sorry for the late review but this spot is a NYC favorite.

Rolled into here at midnight on a Monday night. Really chilled crowd. Friendly bar staff that remember your drink. Fun games in the back. Including classic games like Jenga and shuffle board to pinball and buck hunter. Accompanied with awesome music. Is just an all-round cool bar. I wish I found this place at the start of my holiday I would've ended every night here.

m
marmen2242

Relaxed atmosphere and good food. It’s my 2 second time coming here and haven’t been disappointed yet. Music is not low nor loud and a good selection of genres. I heard Michael Jackson 30 minutes ago and now is Kendrick’s turn. Good spot for a chill date.

M
Michael Wade DeRosa

Cool "chill" bar, great games. You can play board games at your table, or shuffleboard/arcade/jenga in the back. Only wish they had a better beer selection, but cocktails are amazing and you can get great beers at Harlem Public next door.

M

Best bar in Hamilton Heights. Period. Bartenders are awesome. Food is cheap. Beer is cheap. Always a friendly crowd and they have games. Summer or winter, if you live in Hamilton Heights, you probably consider this your local watering hole.

K

Still in 2022 I love this place. (This place is a mix of dive bar meets Harlem chic. The food is great with some creative names. Old-school decor. My favorite dive bar in the area. And friendly staff, which makes you, want to come back.)

This is a super fun place! Food and drinks are very reasonably priced, and still a solid quality. Entertainment is great- I personally recommend the Nintendo nights on Tuesdays!

Great little place! The staff is friendly and the food is good. Especially the waffle fries. Definitely check it out if you're in the area or get delivery, which I have done as well.

R

They do indoor seating, just like any other place they will check your temperature and write down information just in case. At The Wallace has great tasting drinks, and I didn't get a chance to eat but I appreciate the fact that they have vegan options.

L

Delicious grilled cheeses at super affordable prices. Good space and I love the giant jenga! The beer selection is not huge, but you can get huge size mugs!

M
Michael Whitley, PMHNP-BC, Head Noodle Psychiatry

At The Wallace is probably my favorite bar in the neighborhood - and there is no short list from which to choose. Comfortable and ample seating, not crazy (unless it's a thurs-sun night) and good drink prices. I don't think they have a happy hour really, but the prices are about what you'd expect to pay at any happy hour - only all the time! 4-5$ drafts and 6-8$ cocktails seem to be the norm here, no matter the time of day. There are plenty of fun catchy things here to occupy yourself with in-between gulps; such as huge-sized Jenga, that little plastic boxing game where you and someone would mad-mash two buttons until someone's head eventually pops off, cards and way more. No matter the day, you can normally find me At The Wallace ;) (Was that too corny?)

Perfect place to spend a Saturday night with your significant other and amazing friends. Food was really good!! That double stack burger was the best burger I've had in my life!! Food is amazing and super cheap!!

At The Wallace is sure to provide a fun night! From the yummy beers on draft, to their tasty food or their life size jenga game amongst other fun games, it’s a great place to bring some friends and enjoy a night out. They also play Rupaul Drag Race here on Thursday nights which I love that it’s a totally normal bar playing an LGBT television show! Shows you the type of people that manage/own this bar. Inclusion is so important!!!

S
Sudhir Bhargava

It's a bar but I'll start by saying that I love the food, particularly the garlic/parm wings. Plus a great vibe, spacious bar, friendly bartenders and good drinks/drink specials make this place a good choice for a fun evening or night out. There's a few bars near each other here, so I see bar hop potential ...but this is a good one to start at/stay.

V

At The Wallace is your quintessential dive bar, offering no-frills ambiance, mouthwatering bar grub, and drinks that won't dent your wallet. Tucked away in the heart of the city, it's a go-to spot for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere and affordable indulgence. The menu boasts hearty comfort foods and classic bar snacks, perfect for soaking up a night of cheap drinks and good times. What sets At The Wallace apart is its commitment to keeping things simple and wallet-friendly. From ice-cold beers to no-nonsense cocktails, the drink options won't leave you emptying your pockets. Whether you're catching up with pals or flying solo at the bar, At The Wallace promises a laid-back vibe, great eats, and drinks that won't break the bank.

Love this place! You can’t go wrong visiting At The Wallace, whether you’re looking for a quick drink and a snack or a bar to hang out and socialize in. Their Drag Race watch parties are always a great time, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. They’ve even got arcade games and giant Jenga in the back!

K

Good bar and surprisingly really awesome food. It’s in no way a healthy food spot or I guess you could find something healthy but the grilled cheeses are too good not to eat. The fries also come in a huge portion that can be shared. They also have a cheap beer deal for a small beer and a shot for under $10 which is a poor kids paradise. The also have pin ball in the back for 25¢ and other arcade games which are fun. I meet cool people when I go here and a couple times I even got free shots when I was sitting at the bar with my friend. Must have been a promotion or something.

M

Great hamburgers and waffle fries. My kids love coming here on the weekends to eat on the sidewalk outside. it always feels very festive, but people are respectful and keep six feet away. Post-pandemic edit: all the food is still great. We loved going inside and playing the pinball machines in the back. My kids think this is the coolest place ever. Update to add: great 8th anniversary party! Congrats to At the Wallis

M
M. Santana

Great bar. Love the cheap happy hour specials. Not sure if they carry wine tho… but either way, strong drinks and good food. If you feel you aren’t being serviced fast enough I’d recommend to order at the bar rather than wait to get noticed. Just a tip :)

Great little place with a great atmosphere, delicious food, strong drinks, and lovely staff. Nothing beats the beer and burger combo so try the Abita Amber draft for a smooth, malty, sweet tasting beer and the Famous Wallace Cheeseburger made to perfection. 🍻

I have a wonderful experience. I visited with co workers and was surprised to find games and a happy environment. The food and drinks were delicious and affordable. Music was good too. Bartenders were very friendly. Great place if you like games you will have fun in here.

Always a great experience when I come, love all the staff here, and the wings! but have to say one day off today before pride and Alex made our entire! But honestly this place and the staff are amazing and welcoming!

I don't know what size the large draft stein is (24oz maybe?) but it's one of the rare times in Manhattan I actually feel like I'm getting my money's worth. I also just really like Jack's Cider because it tastes like apple juice. And the Baker's Fries (waffle fries with chicken and hot sauce and sour cream) were tasty.

M

Literally one of the best Bars in Manhattan!! Went here with my boyfriend and my dog and literally felt very catered to and my dog was given so much special treatment!!! Food is amazing and staff is A1!!! If you ever wanna have a guaranteed good time just head to at the Wallace!!!

J

Their DAWGS & loaded fries are the BEST in town!! They also have a lot fun games to play while there and an adorable photo booth which will always have a special place in my heart! My fiancé and I went there after our first date in 2014! Truly a staple of the community & they deliver delicious drinks to your door now!

At the Wallace is one of my favorite neighborhood spots! My friends and I have been going there for years, especially for their Drag Race viewings and performances. Unfortunately, last night we had our first bad experience there and ended up moving across the street to Uptown Bourbon. We’ve never had any issues with the staff or service before, but the bartender on shift Cody was extremely rude. On multiple occasions, he shot us dirty looks, made snide comments, or just flat out ignored us as we tried to order with him. He also refused to take my food order and told me to move along to the kitchen window if I wanted something to eat, despite taking both of my friends’ food orders prior to that. As I walked away, I overheard him telling the customers sitting at the bar that this was the “VIP section” and no one was allowed to come in and interfere. We closed out our tab shortly after that and left because we were all so thrown off by his attitude. Leaving 5 stars anyways because we really do love this spot and will definitely be back, but we’ll be sure to avoid this particular bartender next time!

Love coming on Sundays with friends for their wing deals and to watch sports channels. This place gives neighborhood bar vibes in the best way! You’ll feel welcome. People always seem cool and the staff if very friendly. Plus they have an outdoor space if you need a calmer scene.

K
Kimberly Everette

Everything a wing should be, and more. The Old Bay dry-rub wings are perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy. I've eaten them several nights in a row!

L
Lauren Pascarella

I’m hesitant to write a review because I want this place all to myself, but at the same time they deserve all the business coming their way and I want them to stay in the neighborhood for as long as possible! Anytime I go in, there is always a seat available at the bar (granted I come in usually before 8 because I’m old). Whoever hires the bartenders does a great job because every bartender that I’ve had there is really damn good at their job- fast, attentive, and personable, and I never have to ask if I need another drink because they’re on top of it. Music is always on point. And the smash burger…THE SMASH BURGER! Technically the one I get is called the Wallace Cheeseburger, but it’s made in the same style. It’s unbelievable. One of the best in the city, in my opinion. Don’t sleep on the waffle fries either. I will continue to come here every chance I get, until my girlfriend becomes concerned without how many smash burgers that I’m eating on a regular basis. Place is the best!

At the Wallace has grown into itself. Best for locals, welcoming to anyone else. The bartender Chris made my decade. He really is the salt of the earth. Hope to visit At the Wallace in 2035.

I've found my new favorite spot in this part of town. This restaurant charges appropriately for its offerings. They give generous portions, charge appropriate prices, and serve delicious dishes. The employees maintained friendly attitudes consistently. Check out this place right away.

Kilgore Trout

Best dive bar in the city, hands down. The most consistent of bar food. Cold pints. Friendly staff. Funny-as-hell social media, even. The new-and-improved patio outside makes up for the jank barriers they had up for what feels like the last two years. I personally keep coming back for the cheap drinks, bomb burgers, crispy waffle fries, and of course: hot dog nights on Mondays. I'll even forgive you guys for confining the hot dogs to one night a week only. I get it, they just had too much power and needed to be held back to let the competition catch up. One of the door guys that IDs people can be grumpy as hell at times, but it's like an endearing-kinda-grumpy--I'm sure he's seen some crap, so I can't judge too hard. Their only flaw is they're a Cleveland bar, but hey, none of us can be perfect. I still love you guys.

Came here this Wednesday afternoon for a quick visit. Been here dozens of times but finally getting around to writing this. This spot is one of my favorites in the entire city. It feels like a home away from home. There’s a divey-arcade vibe with solid food, great service, and almost Chicago meets Nashville meets Austin unique-ness with the decor and atmosphere. There’s quirky signage and bumper stickers galore, twinkle lights, exposed brick, flat screens and plenty of fun games to play. There’s outdoor seating if that’s your vibe. Only thing I don’t care for is the music, doesn’t seem to match…anyway, Cody the bartender is AWESOME and so chill. He could take anybody’s bad day and make them feel welcome and like they have a friend and somewhere safe to go. Curious on their weekly events/potentially live music! At the wallace is always a good idea…btw, here on a Wednesday and the place is packed. A neighborhood gem for a reason! :)

Tried delivery from At The Wallace in Harlem for the first time, and it did not disappoint! My order came in earlier than expected and in perfect condition. I went for three burgers: the “Famous Wallace Cheeseburger”, “The Smash,” and the “Healthy Living” (a light and tasty Turkey Burger). They’re not huge, which made getting three a great choice, but they’re absolutely packed with flavor. The Smash on pretzel bread was a standout, with caramelized onions and the thousand islands sauce and every burger was loaded with delicious ingredients. Can’t wait to explore their great menu even more! Quality, taste, super affordable prices (which is a plus!) and variety make this spot is a must-try!

We love At the Wallace. Have been coming here for 8+ years. It's the perfect mix of great food and affordable drinks. Plus the games make it really fun for adults and kids. We used to come way before having our daughter and now we know it's the perfect place for an afternoon drink while our kid eats their delicious nuggets. It's truly an atmosphere where everyone is welcomed!

ATTENTION OWNER: I’ve been coming to this bar for years and love it—the staff is fantastic, the drinks are great, and the Smash Burger is one of my favorites burgers period. 🚨 BUT I want to bring something to your attention. Theres a huge cardboard wall in front of the bar that’s negatively impacting your business. From talking to other patrons, we all feel like we’re missing out on the summer sunshine, fresh air and seeing people walk by because the bar feels like a CLOSED DARK box. The cardboard has been up for almost two years and makes the place look uninviting and abandoned, discouraging potential customers. Either fix the pipes covered by the cardboard wall asap or reduce its size to half, to allow people to see inside and outside, which would make the bar more welcoming. 💡Here are pictures showing the space before and after the installation of the cardboard wall. The wall was originally painted black, but it has since been repainted.

My Favorite local bar! Cheap, with great staff, good food and of course my favorite part they sell Medalla Light. If you are Puerto Rican you will understand and if you are not and haven’t try a Medalla yet. Go and ask Bianca the best bartender there to serve you one.

This is now officially my NYC bar. Great vibe. Cheap drinks (relatively so). It’s a Browns bar but I won’t hold that against them. Just all around a great vibe with a cool team behind bar.

Eclectic eats, craft cider & brews served up in a lively tavern with quirky decor & pinball games! This Harlem dive bar dishes out drinks at super reasonable prices! Swing by if you're in the area and are looking for a dive to chill out in.

It took me so long to go here but I'm so happy that I did! This is easily the best "bar food" (American cuisine?) in the area! First of all, the vegan dog slaps, regardless of your dietary lifestyle. I also had the spicy chicken sandwich which, as much of a not chicken/meat fan I am, this one is FIRE, so crispy, spicy, good, it don't make no sense! The popcorn shrimp comes in a huge cup that feels like something from the movies. Waffle fries toasty and yummy. Will update after I try the burger!

Beer, diving, bar food, sports and games. Fun drag race Thursday. Nice place to hang out specially in the summertime with the outdoor sitting. Winter its warm inside too and you ll enjoy the games in the back more.

J
Jonathan Ben-Menachem

Best place to go for a cheap beer, but good luck elbowing your way past the crowd if you want to get a second drink. On Friday and Saturday nights it's a bit too packed to be enjoyable.

D
Dee Boogie

Neighborhood bar that caters to Cleveland fans but show all games and will cater to your team if you get there and cop a squat early enough. The pours are nice and bartenders like Mark are always asking what you need and if your good to go. Always different sorts of convos going around like sports, jokes, and local neighborhood news. People are always checking in those they haven’t seen a while which is a good thing especially for the OGs. Definite nice sister spot to Harlem Public but with more space. Hey they also have fried Oreos..can’t go wrong with that 👍 check it out!!!

T

Good cheap eats, solid beer selection and price, fun crowd, awesome staff. Would be 5 stars if it were cleaned. I love dive bar style right up until I'm trying to avoid pee puddles in the men's room.

D
David

Other than the kinda rude bartender (I mean, I guess it was past 12 a.m but...), it was pretty cool. A cheap shot and a beer? Amazing. The graffiti decor and the arcade games that were mostly functioning? Not too shabby. It is a nice spot to go on a beer hopping run.

s
selena “Lena” smith

Very casual atmosphere. First come, first serve. Grab a table then go to the bar to order food & drinks, your order will be brought to your table. Food servings are huge for most ppl, believe when the menu says datable portions.

D
Deana Murtha

Great, chill spot. Good food, in the portion size that’s appropriate (order fries separately, nothing comes “with”), “big” drafts (18oz estimate) with friendly bar flies and staff. Really, stop in!

A
Alisa Wyman

Great bar for a group, meeting new people, sports, and good bar food. Our group did pitchers of PBR ($15) and pickle backs. Had a great time at the back with the bar games as well.

M
Michael Dollar

The food isn't spectacular, and the beer selection is weak. However, there are plenty of games, and it's cozy and cheap. Also, the jukebox is well-stocked with music that doesn't suck. Seriously, whoever put that album list together knew what they were doing.

e
ed poole

Upscale WaHi dive bar, if there's such a thing - fancy cocktails, but premixed; craft cider on tap, but also PBR. Lively crowd, especially for Drag entertainers and viewings. Bar staff are super friendly and efficient. One star off because it's hard to get a drink without being pushy and obnoxious.

C
Cullan Bryant

Can't figure out if this and next door bar/restaurant have the same owner, but they make a point to tell you they are not the same. The menu is of similar style but cheaper, and the food is not as good. It is a lovely place to hang out and eat and drink cheap though.

Great dive/arvade bar. This is somewhere between a sports bar and an arcade bar. They have pinball and a couple other arcade style games, live sports, a good and reasonably priced drink menu, and okay fries. No darts or pool.

Harlem please!!! Great dive bar and very friendly staff. They have great drinks special and typical average drinks. This bar is definitely a neighborhood favorite. It took me a minute to figure out that I can seat myself anywhere. Lol. I ordered a Jack Shandy and popcorn shrimp 🍤 The cocktail drink are large. 😃😃😄😂

Felix
Felix

Great Prices! Super crowded specially on Friday and Saturday night! But the best of it is the Harlem Dog 🌭 its Delicious 😋 the only bad thing is ordering at the bar when its super crowded only 2 bartenders for a lot of people waiting to order! I suggest to the administration to put the barback to take order too or another bartender on busy hours! Everything else its a great place to go, drink/eat cheap and take a picture on their photo booth!!!

C

Cute place with nicely priced food. Gets super packed when busy.

M
Mr Riss159

Adult communal games like giant Jenga & connect four. Old school pinball games and shooting games are available. Drinks are reasonably priced, although not the largest selection of spirits. An average dive bar situation.

d

Good food and nice ambiance but the service could be better.

Y
Yeraldin Lopez

Sigh. What a shame. I seriously wanted to like this place. It has awesome dive bar look and feel but cleaner and more open. The problem began w. the cocktails we ordered, which were so subpar it left us scrambling to gtfo. In addition, and I get this might be COVID related, but the bartender was so dry. I'm used to sitting at the bar and striking a brief but jovial conversation. I think he was disappointed at the drinks too. We decided to tough it out and got their burgers & wings. Again for the price, the burgers were small and had nothing special to them. The wings were good.

N
Nikolaos Diakos

Low quality, not fresh ingredients. Burger is overpriced for what they offer. The patty was dry and the cheese was plastic. Fries were not waffle fries as advertised. Instead were regular fries soaked in old oil. McDonald's offer better quality in lower price.

Food was fine. Drinks were good. Bartender was rude. I ordered a margarita. When he brought a frozen one, I said that I had meant a regular margarita—just on the rocks. He said loudly, “Then you should have said so!” The security guy was also unnecessarily aggressive, shouting about things in the way. It’s like they are trying to offend people.

Man some great food here, if only I ever got to eat it warm. Just don't order pickup unless you want to spend 10 minutes trying to get a bartenders attention long enough to ask for them to hand you the bag directly behind them. I'm a bartender so I know a busy bar can be crazy but it's 2 times now I've ordered pick up and been straight up ignored while my food gets cold.

Not what I was expecting based on the reviews I read. We sat at the bar and was basically ignored by the bartender. Even after waving and shouting to get his attention over the noise, he saw us and just passed us over to serve his friends or maybe regulars who showed up after us. Nothing on the menu appealed to me but since we were already there we decided to snack on something small. My husband had 2 shots of vodka and I had some disappointing waffle fries and chicken nuggets. We made light of the matter and left. Not my crowd, but a very interesting place for people watching. Yes, I thought we were at Harlem Public…I walked into this place in error. My expectations were way too high 🤣🤣🤣

They sell you a drink before closing, because they call a 30 mins last drink, you are expected to finish your drink quick, if not, the bouncers get on your face, and ask you to leave in an aggressive manner. Even when you are lletting them know in a polite way, that all you want to do is finish your drink. And 7 customers are going through the same struggle. Horrible.

They give preferencetual treatment to staff at their sister restaurants or former staff even if they act disrespectful like takimg your seat or talking to a girl you bring in. Also major rat problem in that block that has three of their restaurants including hp. Wouldn't eat there if I were u

Great bar fun atmosphere creative drinks. However they advertise that they're open til 4am and the last 2 nights I've walked down there at 3am they have the " sorry we're closed" sign up. Highly recommended calling before wasting your time trying to give them your patronage to see if they've decided to go home early. Will NOT be going back.

Worst drink I ever had. & worst service ever, very rude bartender. Can’t understand the 4+ star reviews.

The Bouncer That is Always there I think everyone says he calls himself supreme is such a bad vibe. always angry when me and my friends come in has the neighborhood local guys in there doing as they please. I have seen him do unfair things at the door which I never see when the other guards are there. the other guard I believe hes there Sundays is much more pleasant to deal with. stay away on friday & Saturdays when supreme is at the door

For an establishment that has a Black Lives Matter flag the white bartender is pretty discriminatory against brown people. I came in to pick up an order. I said “ Hi, I want to check on the status of an order for Ashley”, he replied in an obnoxious and sarcastic tone “Hi, how are you, welcome to the bar” then walked away and said wasn’t ready without checking the bag that was on the counter ready for pick up. I then asked the other bartender who seemed to understand his job is customer service and he asked the white obnoxious bartender to check on the order. The bag that was on the counter since I entered turned out to be my order. The white bartender seemed to want to hold my order hostage, seems like he was having a bad day? Sucks because this place is walking distance from my apartment but there are better burgers out there and bars with less racist staff in Harlem.

I met my friend for happy hour at The Wallace. Codie was our bartender. Although the food and drinks were good the service was absolutely disgusting. The bartender was rude and aggressive. I asked what were the wing flavors on the special and he snapped at me saying it’s right in front of me and did I really need him to read it to me. Later on I asked for another drink and he snapped again. I told him his delivery was very disgusting and he proceeded to say he was closing me out. He began to take it as a joke, and laughed at the situation with other customers and stuck his tongue out. We stood in shock and my friend mentioned that he was receiving her the same way before I got there. We both had a very long week and were trynna let our hair down a bit and passed up going next door to the Harlem Publix thinking that we were going to have a calm experience. I also asked to be billed cash and he used the card I gave to open the tab out of spite. After talking with the manager Codie still wanted to taunt us with his words and told the manager we shouldn’t get what we want as the manger tried to give us a round of drinks to try to make it somewhat better of an experience for us at the Wallace. Nonetheless Word to the wise….if you’re looking for a sassy night arguing with service this is the spot for you.

I’m sorry but the guard there was an absolutely jerk. I came in and say hi to my friend, he yelled at me immediately bec I didn’t show my ID to him. And he started to say something like I don’t understand you?! Treating someone bad won’t make your life better. I’m sorry but that’s the truth😀shabi

You know what sucks? Be disappointed by a place you like. Came in here again, like plenty of times before, to get Waffle fries to go (which are really outstanding). I ordered right away and sat down at the bar waiting. I saw how after a few minutes my order was out and ready to go. It was brought to the bar, and left for the bartender to see it and give it to me. There were two bartenders this night, they were NOT busy, and neither of them handed me the food. I saw how the girl who took my order just had a conversation with her friend at the bar, and ate what seemed like chicken fingers, while my food was just sitting there, bye bye crispy waffle fries. After like 5 minutes they realize I was staring and decided I could have the food I paid for. I now wish I hadn’t left a 30% tip, because apparently the fact that I was only there to get food to go was unimportant to ‘Bianca’, which is the name of the bartender who “took care” of me, according to the receipt. This happened on Wednesday August 1st of 2018, at 9:20pm, and it’ll be the last time I’ll come to this place. Not worth the trip from Brooklyn if I’m not going to be given the proper service.

Absolutely unprofessional service and terrible food. I would absolutely avoid, especially if you're coming from Hawaii and have a Hawaii ID which they will freak out over and create drama. Management seemed pretty out of it and incapable of basic resolutions.

I’ve been here before with no issues, but this last visit was incredibly disappointing. There were four open seats at the bar. One had a drink sitting there, so we checked with the bartender to see if it was available. We even told them we were fine with one of us standing if needed, but were told we couldn’t sit there because the seats were being “saved” for people outside smoking. At a bar. What really baffled me, though, was that the person whose drink was holding the seat immediately closed out and left. I watched it happen, so I was confused when we were still told we couldn’t sit there. Then, a couple came in after us and was seated right away. When we asked why they could sit and we couldn’t, the response was simply that it was “just two people.” There were three open seats, and we had already offered a solution. It was frustrating and honestly felt unfair. Another customer even noticed us leaving and asked what had happened. When I explained, they agreed it was a strange and awkward situation. Even the other bartender didn’t seem to understand what had gone wrong. I truly hope this was just an isolated incident, but it felt like there was a lack of basic consistency and understanding. There are so many good places to go in this area, and I’m sad to say this won’t be one I’ll be returning to.
