Opinions de Mangia Broadway
Great place for a quick bite in the middle of the busting city. Some seats and quick bites, sandwiches. He only think I would hope for is some better selection for vegetarian customers or to put it other ways a bit more beside forward selection. As we only found 2 sandwiches and a pesto past and Mac &Cheese to pick from. But for meat eaters I see how good this place it.
This spot is perfect if you’re looking for a one-stop destination for a variety of treats — from fresh salads and paninis to bakery delights, desserts, and specialty coffee drinks, there’s something for everyone. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and the presentation made everything even more appealing. The interior is bright, clean, and inviting, making it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal or a quick coffee. That said, it does get busy, so I’d recommend visiting during off-peak hours if you prefer a more relaxed experience. During peak times, the crowds can make it a bit hectic, but the quality of the food and the welcoming environment still shine through. Overall, it’s a convenient, pleasant spot that satisfies cravings of all kinds in one place.
I’m a VIP at Mangia!! lol The team is the best, super friendly and helpful. They take so good care of me with a smile on their face. The manager Benjamin, Lilo, Pedro, Gabi. I don’t know everyone’s name but the whole team is amazing! The food is delicious and consistent, I love the variety. I come here at least twice a day: for coffee and lunch.
Not only this atmosphere incredibly cozy, but the staff is also really friendly and amicable. I ordered the fruit tart alongside an Americano with cream, and that fruit tart was like the best dessert item I’ve like ever eaten in my life. Fruits were incredibly fresh and it just tasted immaculate. Would definitely recommend you pass by if you have the time!
What a beautiful restaurant with smiling employees and.... best of all.... a bathroom they allowed me to use even before I committed to becoming a customer. Customer service and kindness are where its at and they were both. The restaurant sits next to the Wilson Store, btw. You walk in you feel you are in Italy from the sounds to the aroma. Excellent food. And fun, fun, fun is the sign on the backwall above the toilet reminding customers bathrooms are for bodily needs not messaging on devices considering there is one bathroom only. Have a great time and eat, mangia, eat.
Absolutely fantastic experience. This place has the trifecta, great atmosphere, great food, and absolutely fantastic service. I was helped by a gentleman named Pedro, who upon me asking for help with the menu, went above and beyond and was so accommodating and welcoming. I have several severe allergies and Pedro made absolutely sure that I could both find something I liked and that was safe for me to eat. Would come back any time he’s working.
This spot has become one of my favorites for fresh salads, sandwiches, and tasty pastries. I love that you can build your own salad with whatever toppings you want, and they offer so many healthy, quick options for when you’re on the go. Their prices are reasonable, and the juices are always a refreshing choice. I love their green juice. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, plus they even have fresh fruit available. Seating is offered both indoors and outdoors, though it can get pretty packed during lunch rush hours.
Very recommended. I come here pretty often, and one thing I always look forward to is the Summer Strawberry Salad. It’s seriously so good — super fresh, with the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. The strawberries, cucumbers, feta, and that dressing just work really well together. If you're into light, refreshing salads that still have a ton of flavor, definitely give this one a try. It never disappoints.
Great experience here and such a greatlittle spot. I was just passing by around 4pm with my friend and decided to walk in since the place looked nice. The barista was super friendly and he made us a really good latte - creamy, smooth, just right. I also grabbed the grilled chicken panino and it honestly surprised me, super tasty and fresh. Just a solid spot overall with good energy. I’ll definitely be back.
I just found this place today and it’s a hidden gem! Staff is so lovely, food is DE-LI-SHHH!!!! And it feels like you just went to Italy for a second. Coffee is freshest and tastes the best! Definitely will be back and bring friends here. Amazing place, truly and grazie for experience!
It was a convenient place where you could enjoy a variety of food, including salads, paninis, bakery items, desserts, and coffee drinks all in one location. The food and interior were both clean and pleasant. However, I would recommend visiting during quieter times, as it can get very crowded.
This charming little spot is a true hidden gem for anyone looking for a fresh and satisfying meal. I stopped by for a late lunch and ordered the Tuna Nicoise Salad, which was absolutely delightful. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and though they'd run out of mesclun, I was kindly kindly choose to choose from other greens. Baby kale and arugula were just as tasty. What I loved most was that you can customize your own salads or sandwiches, and everything is mixed right in front of you. The interior has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Although this place seems designed more for takeout, with all meals served in to-go boxes and limited seating, I was lucky to get a table inside. Even with the minimalist dining setup, the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere more than make up for it. I didn’t try their pastries, but they looked irresistible and are on my list for next time. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. I truly enjoyed my visit!
Mangia has become our favorite go-to spot and we just can't get enough. It's become such a part of our routine that we can't imagine starting our day without it. Everything about this place is outstanding, from the staff to the food to the drinks. It’s like our own little secret European cafe right in the middle of Soho! Lilo’s espresso is hands down the best in New York City, and he never fails to put a smile on our faces. The whole team at Mangia feels like family now, and that's what makes it so special. Plus, the food is consistently delicious and fresh. In a city with no shortage of great coffee shops and restaurants, Mangia stands out as one of the best in the area. Please do yourself a favor and stop by if you haven’t yet - you won't be disappointed!! P.S. watch out for the Green Goddess juice….its dangerously addictive!!
Very cute Italian deli! They have a variety of grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, pasta, pastries, and drinks, with hot bar options. The Lunch Box was the perfect amount of food — a sandwich and a side salad. The Caesar salad was fresh, with homemade croutons. The Italian Hero sandwich was delicious! Incredible ciabatta bread, finely sliced Italian meats and a spicy mayo-type sauce. I loved it. Highly recommend for a quick lunch in Soho!
I was reluctant on making this review but feel like it’s important because I’ve had not only one but two poor experiences with this restaurant. First time ordering: we called and ordered two salads, and they said it would arrive in 30 minutes, but it didn’t arrive for an hour and a half. When it did finally arrive, the ingredients were wrong, and the instructions were not followed (we asked for it chopped and it also wasn’t). Obviously frustrated that we didn’t receive the correct ingredients in our salad, we called them back to make a complaint and told them that We didn’t want these type of salads And we can stop at the restaurant to pick up the correct ones (and they were $60 for the two) because we were now running behind schedule after waiting so long for the salads and couldn’t wait for them to deliver again. The person on the phone was extremely rude and basically told us that’s not an option, And it would only be an option if they could send their delivery person back to pick up the original salads. We said no because we’re no longer home, But they sent the delivery person anyways in my building was calling my phone asking if they should let him back up. I thought this was really weird. Anyway, we let it go and ended up eating the salads when we got home and they were good salads. So we let it slide, because although it was a shitty experience, the salads were actually really good even if incorrect. This obviously tainted our experience with mangia, but we decided to order from them again about a month later and try to give it another go. This time we ordered it on Uber Eats so we can get it faster maybe. We did get it faster but the order was again incorrect for all four salads. We really didn’t have time this time, and we know the customer service was poor before so we decided to suck it up. I had lemons in our fridge, so I squeezed them up and poured them on the salads (They forgot the dressing). Also, something noteworthy was that the bowls were like half full this time compared to the first time which was also upsetting. Because where is the rest of my $28 salad? When I began mixing my solid bowl, I noticed something in it that didn’t look like an ingredient in the salad. I seriously thought it was a date pit. They forgot to add the olives that we requested in our salad, and thank God they did, because it wouldn’t have raised a red flag that there’s something black in my salad if they didn’t forget. So I picked this date pit with my fork only to realize it was a whole MOTH. I was absolutely stunned and grossed out and taken back, my friends who were eating their salad, started panicking, and everyone spit their bites out. Now I don’t know how this could be possible from a restaurant, as I’ve never had this happen… But I think it’s worth leaving a review about this, because the way that Customer Service also handled it was really poor. They basically told us to call Uber eats and ask for a refund and that they would tell the manager. Anyway, if anyone is really sensitive to things like this, I would not recommend ordering from here because there’s no explanation on how I think this could happen.
