Opinions de La Pecora Bianca New York
Tried La Pecora Bianca and really enjoyed it. I ordered the vodka rigatoni and tiramisu, both were excellent. The rigatoni was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked. In hindsight, I wish I’d added the burrata, definitely doing that next time. The tiramisu was light, flavorful, and came with a sheep design on it which I thought was funny. The place was packed and quite lively, which added to the atmosphere for me, but might not be for everyone. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.
Wow 🥴🫶 went here for a bday dinner and did not disappoint! Great pastas & appetizers, I really recommend adding a burrata to your pasta. We got so much burrata lol it was actually so yummy. Interior is super cute vibes, next time I want to sit inside! We sat in the tables outside which was pretty okay considering manhattan is so hectic haha. It was super busy when we went (and especially as a table of five), service took quite a while. Definitely recommend making a reservation a day in advance.
Great spot whether you’re a returning local or tourist. Food quality superb and consistent, service is always great - Hannah at the SoHo location is a dear! Classical SoHo vibes here is a plus!
It was very nice. We don’t have a lot of time to eat our food because we had to catch a bus ended up taking it all to go because it was so delicious. We couldn’t resist taking it home with us.
Amazing experience at La Pecora Bianca SoHo. The food was outstanding, from the fresh pasta to the perfectly balanced sauces. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome without being rushed. Easily one of the best Italian dining experiences in SoHo.
We booked the bottom semi-private dining room for our small wedding reception, and everything was absolutely perfect! The entire process was so smooth — Samantha and the management team made planning simple with their great communication and attention to detail. The food was amazing, and our waitress was wonderful. We truly can’t thank everyone enough for making our special dinner such a memorable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and the use of their semi-private space for any small event!
Great place to stop in and sit at the bar for some delicious apps and cocktials. We ordered the Local burrata which was so good I hated to share along with the zucchini fries. Don't miss this place. We were at the Soho one. Laura of Raleigh
My server Bella was absolutely wonderful. Such a bright presence in addition to my delicious food. Highly recommend requesting Bella as your server!
Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Drinks- 5/5 Value- 5/5 Five stars all around for this great spot. Stopped in for some morning brunch around 11 and had some fantastic pastas and apps. Started with the calamari and crispy Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were in a tangy and delicious sauce while the calamari had a great light crunch and a really good chipotle type of sauce on the side. We all got a variety of pastas for our meals and each were delectable. Be sure to get the extra burrata option on your pasta. Adds a little extra creaminess which really brings out the flavors. Our server was fantastic. Never letting our drinks or waters get too low. Prices seemed pretty standard for New York, not cheap, but good food. And it was great being able to sit outside and enjoy the air and people watching.
The service here was amazing. Despite the chaos our waiter served us with kindness and friendliness. Along with the service the food was amazing. We got the Local Bureccta that came with peaches and tomatoes as well as rigatoni and gargenelli. Overall great service and food and can’t wait to come back!
Great place to get a bite. It’s my first time in this location. Food is always good. The zucchini fries was a great starter and so is the whipped ricotta. The meatballs were really good as well. The cacio e pepe fritters were a bit on the saltier side. The Toscana salad was good too. I really enjoyed the Garganelli pasta with mushrooms as well. They make really good pasta dishes here and is always a hit. Wendy was our server and she was the nicest, even gave our dog some water to drink. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
This is one of the most reliable tables in all the city if you don’t have a reservation anywhere this place is always there and they still have good food although I gotta say their portion sizes have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. The stuff is still pretty good. I really love the cacio e pepe.
We had such a delightful dining experience today (12/17!). We made a 1:45 reservation. Arrived about 5 min early & were immediately seated. We had the sweetest waiter. So attentive. Everything was taken care of without having to ask. The food was amazing!!! This is our 10th visit to NYC in the last 6 years & this was the best service we have had at a restaurant. Highly recommend!
La Pecora Bianca in SoHo is a beautiful restaurant, and I highly recommend booking a reservation in advance—they fill up quickly during peak dining hours. We dined here on a Saturday night at 7 PM to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and the experience was wonderful. For drinks, we ordered an IPA and wine, both great choices. We started with the Brussels sprouts salad, which had a perfect balance of flavors—light, refreshing, and a great way to begin the meal. For the main course, we had the Strip Steak (medium rare) and Garganelli Pasta with Burrata. The flavors were fantastic, though it took about 25 minutes for the mains to arrive without an appetizer. To finish, we had the Tiramisu, which was beautifully crafted with the perfect ratio of chocolate, mascarpone, and espresso. The little lamb (pecora) decoration on top was a charming touch. The payment system is also a standout feature. You can pay traditionally with a paper check or use the QR code to pay online. The system allows for easy bill splitting, automatic tax division, and tipping customization, plus they accept Apple Pay. We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service—definitely a place we’ll return to!
Sure! Here's a Google Maps-style review written in your own words: --- La Pecora Bianca in Soho is a great spot if you’re looking for solid Italian food in a stylish setting. The vodka pasta is rich, creamy, and full of flavor—definitely a must-order. I was surprised by how good the burgers were too, especially for an Italian place. And don’t skip dessert—the olive oil cake was light, moist, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Great service and atmosphere to match. I’d come back for sure.
Excellent bright and busy Italian eatery in SoHo. We came here for lunch and had the kale salad as well as the garganelli pasta and the tiramisu. All the food and cocktails were excellent . The salad was fresh and well tossed with the dressing . The pasta was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Furthermore service was excellent polite and fast. Highly recommended.
From walking into the door , dining , and all .....the staff were so perfect. From hostess to the mostest , waiters and waitresses and manager(which is so important in a great restaurant)all greeted me at my table . Food was delicious and love the glass and half of wine because we all know we need the extra half .
Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5 This is a beautiful restaurant. You should absolutely book a reservation in advance. They fill up quick during peak eating hours. We ordered 2 burgers and 1 pasta. The waiters service was great but it did take about 25mins for the meal to arrive with no appetizer. I tried their Ginger Arnold Palmer and it was absolutely delightful; sweet, tangy and perfect for sipping. I got my burger medium well without pickles and sadly there’s no lettuce or tomato with these burgers so it felt a little plain but it was still good and the herb fries were fantastic. My friend got the pasta with added burrata ($6) and she thought the cheese was fresh and the pasta (which is made IN HOUSE) was perfect. The payment system is actual very good. You do it the regular way with a paper check or you can use the QR code and pay online. There’s an option to pay the full bill or split the check and they divide the tax amongst the party. You pick your meal items, how much you want to tip AND they accept Apple Pay online. We loved the food and we’ll certainly be back again!
My friends and I love to go here during the summer to sit outside and enjoy the people-watching of SoHo. There’s something about the energy of the neighborhood paired with La Pecora Bianca’s relaxed yet elevated vibe that makes it the perfect spot for long lunches or easy dinners that somehow turn into hours. The outdoor seating is prime, and it’s one of those places that feels lively without ever feeling chaotic. The food is absolutely amazing too. I always get the kale salad and the ricotta cheese starter, and they never disappoint. The ricotta is creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced, and the kale salad is one of those dishes you crave long after you leave. Everything tastes thoughtful and well executed, from the pasta to the seasonal specials, and you can tell quality ingredients are a priority. The service is another standout. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. They make you feel comfortable whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal with friends. Overall, La Pecora Bianca SoHo is one of those dependable neighborhood favorites that still feels special every time you go. It’s perfect for casual catch-ups, celebrations, or just enjoying great food in one of the best people-watching spots in the city.
Wonderful experience. There is a reason why some restaurants are busy from noon thru the afternoon. Then there are the ones that are empty and waiting to close down. This restaurant is the former. We walked in at 1:45pm and the place is still packed and bustling. They put our name down and asked us to come back in 30 mins. And we did. They wanted us to wait while the table is being cleaned and set up, which was fine. Another Maitre d came back and saw an empty table cleaned and said, “why don’t I set this up and you don’t have to wait” she quickly went to get plates and silver ware and seated us. Impressed. Our server (who looked more like a manager) came to happily took our order and recommended drinks. Another server came to check on us. Another server served us our food. I figured they probably share the tips pool and that’s probably why everyone work well as a team. While we were there we saw them turned the table a few times. It was still packed and busy when we left at 3:30pm. People were still coming in at 3pm for late lunch. The food was delicious , home made pasta cooked & flavor to perfection. I would definitely come back for more to try their dessert. Highly recommend. We need more restaurants like this.
Loved! 10/10 Be mindful this is a restaurant that gets booked very quickly, make sure to look in advance online if they have seating. I was lucky as a single person to get in right away at the bar. Easy to get to from anywhere in town, lots of shops nearby/subway stops so if you have to wait for a table no problem. Everyone I came in contact with was so nice. The ambiance was beautiful, chill, dim lighting, more romantic atmosphere for a date as well. The calamari and pasta were amazing- add the burrata on top it was wonderful!
Went to Rome over the summer, truly missed great pasta, and came to NYC to visit for a few days. Wife booked reservations here and it was absolutely amazing. The pasta and meatballs truly rivaled Italy, actually was a bit better. Could honestly not give enough credit for this staff on the attentiveness they showed with us. There was a slight mix up with one of our orders and the staff was on it, and overly attentive to make sure our experience was top notch. Could not recommend this place more!
Great place to eat and sit and drink and visit. The staff is great in the Mgr. is great as well. I went during the evening right before closing to pick up in order to go of tiramisu and it was delicious. Delicious delicious I didn't get a chance to photograph it, but I will soon.
Always wanted to try this location and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, and they were able to let us sit in a beautiful booth by the entrance. They are closed between lunch and dinner, but that’s not a problem at all! If you want to secure a spot on the weekends, it’s best to make a reservation because they are very popular.
Not pictured here, but the following apps - whipped ricotta, burrata, and meatballs are so delicious! The garganelli was al dente and had dollops of flavorful pesto & cheese squares. NY strip steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare with a really nice sear sitting on top of a bed of broccolini. Another favorite from the table was the campanelle! Fresh shrimp with the tang of lemon. Overall great service & food!
Couldn't stop talking about how great the food was while eating and then on the ride back home. We were looking around since in this area so many restaurants were packed up with 2 hour waits - but we were able to score a seat on the outside of this place quickly. Outside in the dead of middle of winter sounds crazy - but they had heaters under their banners that made sitting outside comfortable. We were not sold too much on the food, thinking this was basic pasta - oh boy were we wrong. I am not a fan of ala vodka sauce, but the parmasanga plate with the ala vodka sauce pasta on the side, oh man that could not have me stop talking about how good it was. Was literally eating my own words. My safe bet was french toast because the ingredients list seemed simple and without things I did not like, when I tell you the french toast was a light airy dream with a good portion, it was so good I couldn't stop saying it was good. Definitely not expecting how great this place was. Definitely planning another outing to try multiple pasta plates from here. I am not a fan of only pasta meals, but this place is different and I daresay the pasta is better than the meat.
We stopped in around 5:45PM without a reservation and got lucky to get a table for 2. Thank you for the hostesses for the accommodation! They informed us that we would have to finish our dinner at 7:30PM. No problem. Services was impeccable. Small establishment with tables close to each other. We can hear all the conversation from the other tables, lol. Food was excellent. The whipped ricotta on freshly toasted bread was delicious. Pasta was freshly made in-house and cooked to al dente! We loved all we ordered and had a great meal!
Second time here and had an amazing experience, I always get the Sauvignon blanc and this time I also got the ricotta toast, it was chefs kiss. Ricotta is my favorite. Special thanks to Alexandra for making my birthday brunch extra lovely :) can’t wait to come back bring my friends / family here!!
Surprisedly we were able to get seated outside right away prior to the dinner rush hour. Although we had read mixed reviews on the pasta, everything we had was absolutely delicious and fresh! We loved the zucchini fries, highly recommend! I also loved seeing the team work involved with our service. Sitting outside reminded me of Europe. For an elevated Italian cuisine experience I would definitely recommend. We even had Italians sitting next to us making the experience very authentic.🇮🇹🍝❤️
An incredible dining experience. The Truffle Tagliatelle was the highlight: sophisticated and perfectly portioned with deep, earthy flavors. My wife enjoyed the Gramigna, which was packed with the savory taste of house-made sausage. My only suggestion would be to provide a house bread service or focaccia while guests are being attended. While the menu is concise, every option is high quality.
100% recommend it! We had an Italian friend in our group, and he absolutely enjoyed it. That says something of how authentic this place is. It was the perfect Thanksgiving friends dinner we had. The staff were extremely prompt and polite. And if you are craving anything sweet - this giant bowl of tiramisu is your answer.
This place is worth the hype. We got an Aperol spritz & spicy marg, calamari and the whipped ricotta to start. We split the rigatoni with burrata for dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent considering every single table was full. We had an excellent dinner, will definitely be back
If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! 🌟 Excellent place — from the moment you walk in until you leave, the service is outstanding. It’s truly worth coming here and spending a few extra dollars — the staff is 10/10. The food is great too, but what really stands out is how well they treat you. They definitely deserve their tips. Highly recommended!
La pecora Bianca is located in a beautiful and colorful corner of the heart of Soho, a space that can be enjoyed both inside and out in warm weather. Excellent service, the staff is super friendly and kind, and the quality and flavor of the food are amazing. I highly recommend it! Book table in advance.
We didn't have a dinner reservation luckily they were able to accommodate us. Appetizer & entrees were exceeded out expectations. Save room for dessert because the tiramisu was worth ordering. Serving for two was abundant which was nice to enjoy the next day. Service staff was friendly and attentive considering how busy they were.
Perfect spot for watching people, enjoying the small street outside and having delicious meals. Everything I had was delicious. Especially the local burrata plate. The service is excellent. They use online payment system which works like a charm. I am sad I had so little time to enjoy this place. Fantastic establishment.
We stumbled upon this cute little Italian restaurant when we were shopping at SOHO/Little Italy. We tried their fried calamari and their restaurant week menu—meatballs & rigatoni pasta served with vodka sauce and stracciatella. All the food is delicious and they also have very good service! Highly recommend everyone to stop by the restaurant to try their food if you happen to be around the area.
Best Italian meal outside of Italy!! 5 Stars for menu selection, ingredients and price, as well!! The staff was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. We started with Meatballs, Whipped Ricotta and the Farro Salad. All were amazing and savory. Servings were generous and shareable. Entrees were equally outstanding. Highly recommend venturing to SOHO for an incredible meal here!
Wonderful Brunch + Exceptional Service by Alexandra Had such a lovely brunch experience at Picora Bianca! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — but what truly made our visit memorable was the service. Alexandra was absolutely amazing — attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made us feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment we sat down. If you’re looking for a great brunch spot with even better service, definitely make a reservation at Picot’s and ask for Bianca. She’s a gem and made our whole experience feel special. We’ll definitely be back!

The food is delicious but the highlight of the night was OUR server DANIEL! So hospitable and amazing. We will be back! What a great local spot! Highly recommend the rigatoni.

We had a good time celebrating my friend’s birthday on a holiday Monday at night. Overall, it was a good experience; the FOH team was nice, the order was served well and didn’t take a long time, the ambiance was also nice. The ricotta with honey, chocolate pudding and the pesto garganelli they all were very tasty. However, the campanelle al limone was kind of lame, tasteless and very few tiny shrimps for an almost $30 pasta :/ , that’s why I give this place a 4.5 out of 5.0.
Walked in as a solo diner and got sat at the bar without a wait. Very friendly staff, but on the busier side so took a while to order. Got the Hugo Spritz and the rigatoni with burrata, everything was super good and fresh. Would recommend adding a protein in addition to round out the meal.
Our friend raved about the homemade pasta and she wasn’t wrong. The SoHo location was packed on a Friday night and thankfully the service was friendly and welcome and not rushed. We had reservations but decided to dine at the bar. We shared the meatballs, gem Caesar salad and the Gramigna curly pasta, house-made sausage, broccolini, and chili flakes. We enjoyed our meal with a bottle of Brunello which was ironically rather light bodied but it was fine. They ran out of the 2017 so we had the 2019. I’ll try a different bottle next time. Overall we had a lovely evening and look forward to returning and trying their other locations.
A welcoming atmosphere with excellent service. Appetizers, main courses, and desserts are very tasty and generously portioned. The prices are reasonable by New York standards, and the wine list is well-curated with good options. If you're in New York, it's worth a visit to Soho to check it out. Reservations are recommended.
I’ve been to the restaurant that was at this location before it became La Pecora Bianca. I’m happy to see that they’ve really upgraded the interior and exterior, so it’s much prettier and comfier than the place that was here. The food was really fresh and delicious, especially the zucchini fries. The drink was a little bit disappointing because it’s much sweeter and less refreshing than I expected. I’d probably try a different drink next time I come here. The service could be a bit better. There is one restroom at the ground level. Thinking that’s the only one and seeing that it’s occupied, I waited for my turn. Meanwhile, there was a group of servers standing by the counter next to the restroom chatting with each other. After waiting for a while, someone else came and asked a worker passing by if that was the only one. That was when I found out there are way more restrooms downstairs. It’s weird this group of servers clearly saw I was standing there waiting and didn’t bother to mention that. Not the end of the world; it’d have been nice though if someone had told me that.
We ordered the Zucchini Fries which were very good, and for me, was a highlight. The food is otherwise straightforward. Most of us got the Rigatoni with Vodka sauce which was good. If you need straightforward dining this is for you. Really liked the check out process being able to scan a QR code and split the bill via that if needed. Would dine again if I needed someplace to take a group that had a variety of tastes and was easy to get into.
I really enjoy eating at this place. The food was excellent overall. The only thing I missed was having breadsticks—I came in hoping for something similar to what you get at Olive Garden, but they don’t offer that here. That said, their artichoke dish was outstanding, and the pasta was equally impressive. Everything we tried was delicious and well prepared.
La Pecora Bianca in SoHo, sitting in a street corner, offers a bright, stylish setting that feels both upscale and welcoming. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with lots of natural light and elegant touches—perfect for a casual brunch or a cozy group gathering. The food overall is very good. We enjoyed the tagliatelle and the chicken parmesan, both of which were flavorful and well-executed. The Cacio e Pepe, while rich and creamy, leaned a bit too salty for my taste. The cappuccino was also on the bitter side and didn’t quite hit the mark compared to other spots in the city. That said, the rest of the experience was lovely—great service, great vibe, and a small but solid menu.
Walked by and stopped in for an early dinner on a Monday night without a reservation and they were able to sit us very quickly, however the service was unbelievably slow. We ordered spritz’s that used St Germaine and they came back and said they were out of St Germaine. Then we ordered zucchini fries and then they came back and said they were of those as well… Overall, the food was very tasty & fresh and the pasta was cooked al dente, however the meatballs were mediocre and the burrata was over salted.
i really enjoyed the food! my bf and i got the ricotta , shrimp pasta and the hamburger (i forgot the exact names) and they were all really good! this place gets pretty busy so make a reservation! my bf and i called in for a reservation 15 minutes before going so they only had outdoor seating, and i suggest to not sit outside since there are no wind blockers and although there are heaters, the wind can get pretty strong outside and it won’t be as enjoyable, not saying it’s the establishment’s fault but it’s js something to keep in mind of!
Finally made it here! I always walk by and see this place packed with people, so I made a brunch reservation to try their pasta. Honestly didn’t expect to love it, but it’s really good! Light in flavor, not too creamy, and perfectly balanced. The Brussels sprouts were another highlight, baked and seasoned just right, not too salty, and they smelled amazing. Definitely worth to try it out!
The food is really not that great, it’s good, but not out of this world delicious. The sheep tiramisu serves well more than 2! Like, table of 3 couldn’t finish it. It’s adorable though, I went there for that reason. They put us in the basement and it’s kind of cramped in there, everyone is sort of on top of each other, but it’s cozy? I guess. The server was really nice! Last thing: they use this really cool thing that makes it super easy to split the bill.
IT WASS NOIIISY!!?? Hard to here you're company who's sitting right in front of you, but as long as you scream the conversation is fine. I really wanted to eat some pasta, la pecora bianca is probably not the most authenthic spot for your italian cravings, but delicious it damn well is. I got the vodka sauce; amazing. Not enough burrata, but I forgive them as it was very very delicious. The waiter comes at your table with the cheese and a grater and you can decide the amount of parmesan cheese you'd like. The portion sizes were very good. Staff was friendly even when the place was packed. We did have to wait a while for the food (which was expected, because literally every seat in the entire place was taken). It did look perfect though, and didn't feel rushed and thrown together.

Made reservations for Sunday night for a birthday celebration . Bottle of wine - prices start at $58 and up from there - we always find that to be such a turnoff . I don't mind paying for good bottle of wines but most restaurants are more than quadrupling the prices. Had two appetizers - the misto was not good (chewy calamari) , the meatballs were better. Everyone liked their entrees but can't say any were outstanding considering the reviews online. Desserts were ok - the tiramisu and the chocolate with crumble wafer . Too many other restaurants to go back to this one.
I really wanted to like this spot but left disappointed. My group was sat right by the kitchen which would've been fine except for the hot air blowing straight at us. The food was just ok - lacked flavor and the gramigna was too hard for me personally. For what it's worth, one of my friends loved their meal so perhaps it's just not for me
Solid Italian food in a cute setting. Everything was good with reasonable sized serving. Prices are on par with the upscale neighborhood. Pastas were good and the sauces were interesting. The tiramisu is ginormous, like an entire pie plate size. The mid priced bottles wine (~$74?) we picked was not very good. I tasted a wine by the glass that recommended as an alternative and it was worst. Sadly, I have wine from Puglia that is $10 from Trader Joe’s that is better by heaps. Maybe I should have just tried their wines by the glass and just picked the best one & purchased the bottle (we bought 2). Feb 2025

Food was good, but the service could have been better. Nice ambiance on the outside terrace.
Quite unimpressed. The food was good but nothing standout. The drinks were fine. Both were a little on the pricey side for quality. The service and the ambiance were fine. Days after dining here, I…
3 of us were excited to have dinner here, the reviews were so high. Our waiter was excellent, but the 3 different pasta dishes we got were not . The pasta was undercooked, sausage was overcooked with inedible pieces. The Ragu meat was chewy. But the worse part was I had a mild allergic reaction to the food, my lips swelled and red rash formed. I am not allergic to anything except latex. Have traveled extensively never to had any allergy to food in my life. Had to take benadryl, woke up with.lips still swolen.
Reservations need to be better managed. Made an 8:00 PM reservation for my birthday dinner on a Thursday. Arrived 15 minutes early and let the hostess know everyone had arrived. Was told the table was not ready. At 8:15 PM the hostess offers us a table outside, event though I had made an indoor reservation. It was cold and raining so I said we could wait for an indoor table. Waited outside in the rain with my guests. Was finally seated at 8:40 PM. Almost an hour since we had arrived at the restaurant. We were given a very small table by the glass doors the were open all the way to the top. It felt like we were sitting outside. Asked the waitress if they could close the doors. She said she would ask her manager. But she never got back to us on that issue. Could barely fit any plates on the table since it was too small for 7 people. Received a free appetizer and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience which we appreciated. But truthfully would have preferred a better table ready on time. Waiting around with my guests for such a long was super awkward. Kitchen staff brought out the entrees before the table was cleared from the appetizer plates.Since we had a tiny table, we started clearing the table ourselves, and then a waiter showed up to take the plates. The food was good. I ordered the rigatoni which had very little cheese. I recommend adding the burrata. Ordered the tiramisu and the olive oil cake. Asked for a candle on one of the cakes. A kitchen staff member literally threw the cakes on the table. The waitress came later with some plates and spoons. This place is definitely not appropriate for special occasions. It lacks service and coordination among staff. It is an option for a casual dinner with friends, and dinning after a day shopping in Soho.
We dined at the SoHo location excited for a lovely dinner but were expected with an unprofessional and underwhelming experience. We booked the 9:30 pm dinner reservation which was an option on Resy. When we got there at 9:20, the host informed us to “order quick the kitchen is closing”. Already rushed through a nice dinner and we hadn’t even sat down. Our waiter was lovely, and the whipped ricotta was very tasty. I order the chicken parm and was dissatisfied. It tasted like it had been made an hour ago and the breading was soggy and bland. The pasta that went with it was tough but the sauce had good flavor. My friend had the truffle pasta and enjoyed it. The portions are very large. The worst part of the evening, however, was 40 mins into our reservation when they started packing up the entire restaurant. Opening the garage door style windows and letting the below freezing air in, bringing in all the outside furniture, and starting to clean as we are in the middle of eating our dinner and halfway through a bottle of wine. You cannot expect someone to spend less than an hour on a nice meal, that is ridiculous. We felt rushed out of the restaurant, didn’t even get the chance to try the tiramisu everyone raves about because they decided it was time to close less than an hour into our reservation. Don’t have a 9:30 pm reservation time if you can’t accommodate a table for at least an hour and a half. Won’t be going back, plenty of other amazing Italian restaurants around the city who won’t rush you through a dinner.
I had a very disappointing experience at La Pecora Bianco SoHo on 10/26. We had a 7:15 PM reservation and placed our order around 7:25 PM -- just a Caesar salad, mains, and a side dish (no appetize…
Service sucks, 40min wait for a simple salad and some meatballs. Unbelievable. Avoid.

1. Please wipe down your tables between customers 2. The Brunch-only menu i at 1:45p. on a Saturday was ridiculous. 3. The zucchini "fries" were underwhelming, to say the least. They are just shabby fritters with the blandest pomodoro sauce I've ever tasted. Also, at this price point, parmesan == Parmigiano reggiano not mass-produced powdered parmesan 😏 4. A 40-minute wait for the garganelli pasta was nuts! Not returning! Please do better!!
Really disappointing experience at La Pecora Bianca SoHo. We ordered the tagliatelle, rigatoni, and cauliflower — and honestly, everything was far too salty and soggy. The pasta tasted like it had been sitting out, the sauces were heavy and unbalanced, and the cauliflower was drenched to the point of being mushy. For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least a bit of finesse or freshness, but this was below average at best. What surprised me most is how this place has a 4.8-star rating — it feels more like a tourist spot than a quality Italian restaurant. The vibe is nice, but the food just doesn’t hold up. Save your money and try one of the many other Italian spots in the city that actually care about seasoning and texture. Definitely won’t be back.

La Pecora Bianca: A Lively NYC Italian Gem
There’s a spot in New York, La Pecora Bianca, that consistently pops up when I’m chatting with friends about where to grab a satisfying Italian meal or even just a sweet pick-me-up. The name, which means "the white sheep," might suggest something quiet, but this place is anything but — in the best possible way. Right off the bat, you're hit with a vibrant energy. Even in the middle of an afternoon, the place buzzes with conversation and life. The decor is genuinely great, giving it a charmin...
A Taste of Italy at La Pecora Bianca: Bustling & Delicious
La Pecora Bianca is a name that often comes up when you're thinking about genuine Italian fare here in New York, and for good reason. This spot has a lively pulse, a real buzzing energy that makes it feel like a little slice of Italy.Stepping in, or even snagging a seat outside under their covered space on a pleasant evening, you’ll immediately feel the vibrancy. It’s a popular place, no doubt, and that can mean it gets pretty cozy – think shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow diners, especially d
