The food is so good and the host was very warm. We went there at 6am and the host gave some freebies too!! The samgyeopsal is highly recommended, Elizabeth was grilling it for us and she did it perfectly! It's very juicy and she told us on how we eat it with what side dishes to get the max flavor of the dish, 10/10 would go back again for sure💛💛
Incredibly delicious! We got the beef, pork and chicken barbecue for two - and even if we got the small one, we still couldn't finish it - it was a very generous portion. The accoutrements were flavorful and fresh and had so much texture and variety, it was all very good. Would definitely come back!
The boneless beef short rib was very nice. The servers were extremely attentive and the food came out very quickly. The staff was very friendly and we had a fantastic time here! Great way to spend Thanksgiving lunch! Highly recommend!
I had such a great experience at Miss Korea! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My favorite dish was the bibimbap — a must-try! It was beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavors. Our server, William, made the experience even better. He was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner or a night out with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon and highly recommend Miss Korea to anyone who loves Korean BBQ or wants to try something new.
I liked this place. Pros: while you sit and wait, they treat you to an aperitif, the dishes are large and tasty. Cons: the hood doesn't work well and if someone is frying meat nearby, you will smell like that meat. Overall, I'm happy and will come again :) The price is huge then average. The staff is polite.
The food was spectacular as always. Have come multiple times to Miss Korea and never disappoints. They are very kind and attentive. Top notch service. If you have the pleasure to be with William, you will have an amazing experience. Must try out place in NYC.
Don’t MISS this amazing spot! From the moment you walk in, the service is impeccable; warm, friendly, and attentive. You will not leave hungry. Right away, I was brought a bunch of little, delicious side dishes. I ordered the bibimbap, and the server took the time to explain what he recommends in terms of meat and sauces. I will definitely be back!
The food was amazing, i reccomend goin for the straight bbq sirloin beef, we had a lovely time friendly staff helped us with the huge amount of dishes that came out but not intrusive. They got the spice levels just right and we left feeling full in a good way not bloated it was a lovely light meal. the bbq meat comes with their own side dishes of kimchi some amazing spring onions!
After a Broadway show, we went for supper. Service was good, though the waiters don't understand or speak very well English. The busboys were very helpful though. It was our first time in a Korean restaurant in the States. Usually abroad in Korean restaurants one cooks oneself at your own pace. Here it was great they cook and cut everything for you. Loved the kimchi, not too salty or sweet. Everything we ordered was perfect, loved the spicy and hot dishes. Everything was first class. Will surely go back again.
Miss Korea was simply delicious and the service was impeccable. There were endless banchan and the staff were so friendly and helpful with the BBQ grill. The lunch special that we did was especially wonderful. This is probably the best KBBQ place I’ve been to in my life :) plus, it’s open 24/7!! So nice
Amazing KBBQ!! Open 24H. Pricey but worth it. The service was incredible, we were seated and served immediately. Sunny our waitress was THE BEST! She chopped and cooked at the food for us far better than we could’ve. Overall wonderful experience. Drinks were awesome, high quality ingredients and very attentive and friendly staff.
This was so good, the pork belly and marinated beef were delicious. The fried pork dumplings were amazing. I could eat them every day for the rest of my life to be honest. Service was amazing. If you are nervous about using the cooktop don't worry the employees here will help or do it for you. The food is so good don't skip this because you're nervous about doing the cooking.
The beef BBQ combo was pretty good! The beef was tender and flavourful. It’s still grilled just on the metal rather than real charcoal. The set for 2 people was enough to be shared by 3 in my opinion. They have some side dishes as well. The prices are pretty high. The interior was just average and the staff were okay. You can come there for good beef!
Me and 2 other friends had the large beef dinner. More than enough food for 4 actually and really enjoyed myself. I was concnered about the price point but the meat quality was well worth it. Service was extremely fast and we never had to flag anyone down as they would visit the table frequently. It’s a small and comfy space and have dividers at tables to split parties as necessary.
One of my friends recommended this place. So I came on lunch time. Miss Korea special with stir fried all beef, seafood, pork, and vegetables is amazing. The server who served for my tale told me to try lunch bbq Combe next time I come. I will definitely comeback in March. Good job!!
8am in January.. where else but 콩나물국밥 in Ktown? Incredibly hearty. ----- 10pm. One third empty. Quickly filled up. By 11pm all full and parties waiting. Multiple tables BBQ, flight of soju... Only in Ktown. Glad this place open 24hours. Tradition since now bygones 뉴욕 곰탕 & 강서회관 until latecomer 감미옥 @ Stanford hotel. Discontinued due to Covid. City never sleeps. Thank you for 콩나물국밥 available not only breakfast. Perhaps little more broth, less rice modern day preference. Thank you for all the meat, kimchi, and 콩나물. Quite tasty nonetheless. Egg separately, 새우젓 good quality. 곱창찌게 good too. 떡 and 양 with 두부. 갈비탕 nice as well. 잘 먹었습니다.
One of the best barbecues I have ever had in New York even the chicken taste so good usually they don’t and it’s 24 x 7 all day so I had the meal around 4 AM which was quite interesting. They also have a variety of alcohol service, especially their meal with beer added, and Soju is so good together. I would definitely recommend this place and then I think they are also have some awards for this store and it’s quite welcoming. The staffs were great. They wiped with us and it’s open late. A lot of people come to eat at 3 AM 4 AM, which is quite new to me and interesting.
Miss Korea BBQ has excellent Korean food and service! My mom and I were tired after no a long day in the city, and we ordered and our food was ready very quickly. We enjoyed bulgolgi bibimbap, tteok-bokki Mandu soup, kimchi pancake, and of course they had the banchan as an appetizer! The meat was so flavorful and tender, and we loved the broth in the soup. The dumpling in the soup was also very flavorful. The pancake was crispy the way I love it!
I had five Italians visiting nyc, wanting to try Korean food for the first time. It’s probably the best place in nyc, good quality, portions are good and little on the pricey side but worth it because the food quality is much better than the other spots I have tried. Good variety to pick from. Ban Chan is pretty good. Also, open 24 hours. Overall, I highly recommend this place. For westerners it’s a great spot.
You walk in, the host gives you a table and immediately you get brought water and the BBQ place is placed on the table. The food is brought quickly and cooked quickly. The staff are really attentive and are almost always around you. There all kind and communicate really nicely. I loved the food even as a really picky eater and had a nice time for my birthday there. I recommend this place 100% if you go by 2 or more or if you are a really hungry person. Go to this amazing restaurant if you want to have a good time because I promise you will!!
This place is open 24 hours, so it’s the perfect place to be after a night of drinking! The service team was efficient, and they also cooked the meat for us. The beef was absolutely phenomenal! Super great marbling on the beef, paired with the grilled flavor, dipped in either salt or ssamjang, with a bit of rice… absolutely heavenly!
This was the best restaurants we have been in NY. All the food was absolutely beautiful and Delicious! I don't have many pictures as we ate everything right away, but we had the marinated short ribs bbq and the seafood pancake, and an amazing beef soup. Everything was delicious. We really recommend
My husband I stumbled upon this BBQ spot, and we were blown away by the 18,000 reviews. We thought we needed to try this place out, as either it was going to be AMAZING or a total let down. The presentation set the tone for our meal, and i was SO HAPPY to have one of the staff cook the meat for us. We are local to Carrollton, Texas, which has a huge Korean population, and many Korean BBQ. This place BLEW them out of the water. We ate every side dish given, and the meat was upstanding quality. I am so glad we changed our plans for Miss Korea, and I can’t wait to return!
This KBBQ spot is my go-to place every month or two. Recently, they changed the menu and the atmosphere, and I honestly love both updates. The $32 lunch course has become my new favorite option. I especially enjoyed the yuzu beef brisket as a starter. The white chicken BBQ as a main dish was not overly strong in flavor, but still very delicious and satisfying. For dessert, we had Korean sweet rice drink and Korean dried persimmon with a bit of bagel cream cheese. I absolutely loved both desserts — they were the perfect way to finish my lunch. The servers were very attentive and thoughtful, even asking about any allergies I might have. I really appreciate that level of care. I wish I could come more often. Thank you, guys — great job! Keep up the good work.
I think this was the perfect dining experience. we were sat immediately, we were helped within 5 minutes, the food came out within 5 minutes and we got the check at the perfect time. the person helping us was a great personality and gave us a recommendation for dessert after.
This was great! Delicious and fresh food that is cooked right at your table. Service was excellent, especially Julie. We also got a bottle of prosecco. Thank you!
We had an amazing experience at this BBQ spot! We ordered the combo from the menu, and the portion was incredibly generous. The meats were fresh and high quality, and the staff grilled everything for us, so we could just sit back and enjoy our meal. The side dishes were my favorite, and they even offered free refills, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
Tried the lunch combo at Miss Korea BBQ and honestly, it was a great deal. You get to choose one appetizer and one main dish, and everything we tried was flavorful and well portioned. The price felt very reasonable for the quality and taste, especially for Midtown Manhattan. It’s a solid spot to introduce friends to Korean food without overwhelming them. I’ll definitely be back with friends next time.
I’ve come to Miss Korea BBQ several times now. Often before an event at Madison Square garden with my friends. This last time, I took my girlfriend on a date. I love the variety of their menu. The food is delicious. I’ve enjoyed both their Korean BBQ and their traditional standard menu. Their food never disappoints. I highly recommend the Soju flights. Their costumer service is what drove the 5 star review. The staff is very friendly and they have great recommendations. Even if you do not do the Korean BBQ option, they will come and offer dishes or combinations to try. Best of all, they are 24 / 7. I’ve definitely come back to pick up my packed leftovers after a concert before. 🫶🏽
Exceptional meat quality, bonchon sides, and table side service. We got the small dinner for 2 “ dinner combo C” that included beef brisket, beef short rib, pork belly, and beef tongue for $149.99. We were a bit worried it wasn’t going to be enough food but with the premium quality sides of veggies and kimchi and soondubu tofu and steamed egg, it was the perfect amount. The waiters and staff were super attentive to the meat cooking and grilled it to perfection. We could’ve have grilled it ourselves but I think they saw that we needed some help. The quality of food justifies the cost for a dinner for 2. I would definitely recommend Miss Korea BBQ to anyone visiting NYC craving good Korean foods! The best thing is we ate there at 1 AM after a broadway show and they were still opened! Love that it’s 24 hours!
🔥 MUST GO PLACE in K-Town 🔥 You must order the 꽃살 beef. It is insanely tender and juicy ! The galbi and samgyeopsal are also amazing. Great quality meat, delicious banchan, and a fun atmosphere. Being open 24 hours makes this place even better because you can enjoy all these anytime even at like 3am Highly recommend ❤️🔥
The food is delicious. The service was also immaculate. From entering to the service they provided is wonderful! The servers are very sweet. We love the buckwheat cold noodle. It is our top pick. It’s refreshing. The beef in the barbecue is so tender and flavorful. We also loved the tofu soup. 100% recommend. Will come back again!
Went out to missKOREA this past week again with my date (it’s the same date every time guys 😂), a 24 hour KPot spot for the city that never sleeps! We got the seafood (Haemul-Gui) with a vegetable add-on. Lemme just say that we tore into the food so fast I don’t have time to take a picture of the actual seafood but TRUST. When I say it was so GOODTUH! The veggies were super fresh and I loved all of the complimentary sides that came with it 🥬 I was worried it wouldn’t be enough food for us both but portion size is great to share between two people! I also instantly fell in love with the ambience of this place ✨I’ve never been to Korea but stepping in to the spot felt like I was transported there. Staff was also super attentive, kind and informative ☺️ my one and only complaint was that the plates are kind of small so it’s hard to put all the food on at one time. Though, to be fair, with the different cooking times of the food; my plate never felt overcrowded. I also didn’t feel like I was over feeding myself, so it was a nice way to pace yourself while feeling full but not stuffed. If you’re ever in K-Town, do yourself a favor and eat at missKOREA 🇰🇷
Me and my dad were really craving KBBQ and this place was fantastic. We got the small beef set (did not feel small lol) and we got a TON of side dishes (more than usual… soft tofu stew and steamed eggs on top of the normal banchan)… The BBQ itself was really good, the quality was amazing! And the waitstaff were super friendly. I will be coming back!
The food here was a little pricey, but I can see why! The meat was very fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was great and the staff grill the meat for you. There are also a variety of side dishes. The only feedback I have is the pitcher of soju+juice was incredibly small for the price of $22 usd considering how little alcohol content was in there.
I just want to say for it being 24 hours and having the best service at 1 am is amazing! I had a long day of exploring NYC and ate a pretty late lunch and snacked in between that by the time I wanted dinner I found this place to be 24 hours. The food was amazing and delicious. I love a good eat!
Had an amazing Korean BBQ experience in NYC! William, our waiter, was super friendly and cooked everything perfectly for us. The pork belly was juicy and delicious, especially wrapped in lettuce with all the classic toppings. The tofu soup was flavorful and comforting. Great food, great service — definitely coming back! 👏🔥
Had a great dining experience overall! The food was delicious and well-prepared — I’d give it 4 stars for flavor and presentation. The real standout, though, was the service. William, our server, was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, earning a solid 4 stars. Would definitely return, especially thanks to the top-notch service!
Very good BBQ, with all the usual side dishes ... Update: Sept 2021: They have BBQ COMBO options A B and C we selected option A for 2, @ 129.95 is a bit pricey, but the quality is top notch. Update: 9/9/2025, went in after a late event with my boys and the quality of the food is still excellent.
If you are looking for a classic Korean BBQ experience with good service and a decent selection of meats and side dishes. The staff cooking at your table adds a nice touch, allowing for a relaxed and social meal. While some individual dishes might not impress very palate, the overall point to a reliable and enjoyable Korean dining destination. It's a solid choice for a group gathering or a special occasion where you want to indulge in Korean BBQ in a pleasant setting.
The beef at this restaurant is excellent and very delicious. We visited late at night with a large group of 12 people. The staff was very helpful and treated us with great respect. They did not rush us even though it was late. The atmosphere is very lively and fun for a big group. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely go back again! The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because I have to come back and experience the same twice.
We went in a group of 12 and they were able to accommodate us with 1 large table and 1 smaller table nearby. It was VERY crowded but there wasn't a bad wait time considering this, it took a bit for the waiters to take our orders and give us our food and check but it wasn't anything too bad. They provide you with chopsticks, a spoon, napkins, a cup of water with ice and a plate, but no forks, you have to ask for one! I ordered a budae-jiggae, and the waiters called it something different when they were calling out my order so I didn't know it was mine at first. It's served with hot white rice and ample side dishes. It was delicious and extremely filling and satisfying. It had sausage, pork ham, ramen noodles, enoki mushrooms, kimchi, and other leafy greens. The side dishes were also great and varied! There was one salad, one with beansprouts, one with lettuce, one fish cake and one with bok choy. There was an issue with splitting the bill, however, as they gave our one table two separate bills and then split it incorrectly.
Good Korean BBQ, bummer that it’s not great Korean BBQ. Give it 4/5. They got us seated within 5min on a Wed night without reservation. Decor and atmosphere are ok - a little junky feeling but ok 3/5. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly 3/5. Food came out super quickly and the grilling started. The meats were good. Portions not huge. All sides were good. We ordered appetizers of dumplings and seafood pancake. Also good. 4/5 overall on food, but not outstanding or special. Was expecting better based on 4.7 ratings. Disappointing considering the high prices of ~$100 per person. Good Korean BBQ if you’re in mood and ok with price.
We had a really enjoyable meal at Miss Korea BBQ. The food tasted great, and one thing we especially appreciated was that the server handled the grilling for us—it made the experience relaxing and ensured everything was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is also conveniently close to our hotel, which made it an easy and satisfying choice for dinner. The only downside is the amount of food is on the smaller side for the price paid.
Good Korean bbq, they use gas grill so you don’t walk out smelling like grilled meat. Meat was nice and tender, short ribs were our favorite. They have multi floors, we did have a reservation but I feel we probably didn’t need one.
I honestly think this place is over-hyped, the food wasn't anything special. For 80 bucks I got the big tasting experience for 2 and I really wasn't impressed with it. The Kimchi wasn't as good as the one I bought at Walmart. I did enjoy some of the dishes like the glass noodles 🍜 and one of the sauces that's not spicy yet even when they saw i ran out of it they didn't even offer to refill it. This place has lots of good reviews perhaps because it's open late but as I only had a couple days in the area I really wish I would have tried another spot in Koreatown instead. Don't believe the hype, trust your instincts.
Service was excellent, but the food was just ok. Lots of banchan, but none of it spectacular. For $200 for 2 people, just the beef set meal for 2 and nothing else, it did not feel worth it. Meat was good, but nothing that stood out or memorable. Reviews sounded amazing but it was really just ok, and a meal that I could get just about anywhere else.
Went for dinner. Amazing food and amazing service. Everythingwas delicious. We did the beef chicken and pork bbq and it came with a lot of sides and a really good soup. All of the meats were very tasty and they came over to cook all the meats at the table and everyone was very attentive. Updating this- something made me so sick at night and into the next day. It completely ruined our plans for the following day. I did notice there was a lot of Cross contamination with utensils. They used the same utensils to serve as they did to cook and cut the raw meats. I’m thinking that’s what it was.
We had reservations for dinner and didn’t have to wait. The decor is nice and service was fast. However, I felt they were rushing us to eat. It was not enjoyable. They brought everything out at once and there wasn’t enough space on the table. Prices are quite high. Meat is average. Side dishes are disappointing. The seafood pancake was really soft, not crispy as I would have like it. The gyeran-jjim was flat when they brought it out. Not what I expected. This restaurant is highly overrated.
The food in normal Especially the beef tartare! If u are a beef tartare lover, i would highly recommend eat at love Korean BBQ! We choose here cuz they open.24hrs! After celebrate new years eve at timesquare there is no choice for us to choose the res! If u love a quiet res This restaurant may not suitable for u! And Their service was terrible u know! I can understand they are super busy to serve Lots customers, but this is not an excuse to ignore ur service!
No reservations/walk in on a Sunday nite dinner about 7pm. We got sat upstairs. It's definitely more.quiet upstairs and private. It doesn't have to same vibe as downstairs. We ordered the Small A all beef meal. The meat quality was top notch. Short rib, marinated short rib boneless, Bulgogi and Berkshire pork belly. The pork belly was nice a thick. The beef was nice and tender. Their service failed. Had to ask for water refill, refill on bonchon, napkins. No one came a took our empty plates aways. Their price is a bit higher. And service is crap. I would pass next time Price is steeper than normal.
It was a total disappointment. We were here in September 23, we liked everything then, both the food and the service. Today we were walking nearby and decided to come in and have dinner, we were not happy with everything. Waiters changed constantly, meat was burning and falling down on the gas, grill with big holes, meat smelled of burning, no one updated the grill. We were with a toddler, he eats Korean food, but only ate rice here. Meat smelled burnt, appetizers in spicy sauces with pepper. The waiter said it's not a place for kids, although there are high chairs for them. For 197 bucks, we were left hungry I would recommend going to a Korean kpot in Downtown Brooklyn, cheaper, tastier, and more welcoming.
The restaurant was full of flies, and I even found a bug in my water. Staff were unresponsive—no one replaced my drink until I asked multiple times, and there was no apology or proactive solution offer at the moment. Compensation was only offered after repeated complaints and was inconsistent. Despite all this, they still insisted we leave a tip. Would not recommend due to the poor hygiene and service.
Very disappointing experience, especially considering how pricey this Korean BBQ place is. For the cost, I expected at least decent food and attentive service, but neither of those happened. The plate of meat came to our table with bloody liquid, which is very disgusting. The server was cooking the chicken at our table, and when it was finally served, the outside was completely burnt while the inside was still raw. It was honestly unsafe to eat. I politely let the server know and asked to change the plate, but there was absolutely no reaction—no apology, no replacement, not even a simple acknowledgment. It felt like I wasn’t being heard at all. The lack of communication made the situation even more frustrating, and I genuinely couldn’t tell whether the server didn’t understand or just didn’t care. For a place charging this much, the quality and service should be much better. this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had at a Korean BBQ restaurant
