My boyfriend and I had an amazing, romantic evening at Morton's. We ordered the Valentine's dinner for two and it was more than enough for the both of us. Everything was delicious, the drinks were great, the atmosphere was beautiful, and our server David was attentive, funny, and accommodating. Thank you for an amazing experience!
I came here in a business meeting. We started with some appetizers including the scallops wrapped with bacon and lamb chops. Both were good, but the lamb chops are phenomenal. Very high quality meat and super tender. Then I had the lobster bisque soup, and let me tell you, this is one of the best soup I ever had. Very creamy and very rich taste. Followed by mixed greens salad which was good as well. Then coming to the main entree, I had the fillet mignon which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Excellent meat quality!. Ending on a good note with a very creamy cheesecake and chocolate mousse. Overall I loved all the food that was served. Very high quality food and the taste was great!
I cannot express how great our experience was in a brief review. We dined here 2 nights in a row during our daughter's event break because the service was so good. Our daughter was unable to leave the volleyball venue, so we were looking for a 'to-go' option she could eat late night. Darrin, Sydney, Via, and Chef Jaime impromptly created an off-menu dish for our daughter, making our night easier and our her night a gourmand feast! Thank you to Morton's Seaport staff! You guys are awesome!
If I could give more stars, I would. This Morton’s is consistently great. We have been going for around 10 years and they never disappoint. The food is always delicious and cooked perfectly. The decor is warm and welcoming. But, what sets it apart from so many other top quality restaurants is the staff. We were so lucky to have Sydney as our server. Hope we get her all the time. All night, she consistently checked in and went above board to make sure we were so happy. It was my 9 year old granddaughter’s birthday and Sydney and Gary Boss, the general manager, made her feel so special. Gary checked in a bunch to make sure everything was perfect. And, it was. It could not have possibly been better. Thank you for a perfect night. If I could give more stars, I would. This Morton’s is consistently great. Not our first time here but always an excellent dinner. Steaks are always cooked with perfectly with exceptional service and drinks. We came with a party of 8 last night and everyone was very impressed. Thank you Mortons!
My first time here with my lady and I was absolutely amazed with the professionalism and style this steakhouse had to offer! I got the bone in 22 ounce ribeye. My lady got the 14oz Wagyu. The butter enhancement really hit the spot, especially the garlic and truffle one. We had two side orders of loaded mashed potatoes as well. As someone who works at a slaughter house who deals with meat all the time, I was not disappointed a single bit. My waiter was very attentive, friendly and very professional, he has great social skills and recommended we get Morton’s fresh lava cake. We had to wait 30 minutes for the lava cake as it was going to be made fresh. It was worth the wait. As we were waiting, we enjoyed our drinks. I had the Morton’s margarita and my lady had the Mortini with blue cheese olives, this place pays attention to detail as there was a section of the rim from my margarita that was not salted meant for you to sip out of that area. I found that very unique considering other places salt the entire rim. The quality of service and food matches the price we paid. I will be coming back to try other cuts of meat. Thank you guys for the great experience!!!
This was my second visit for me and my family at this outstanding establishment. The food is phenomenal! The staff here are very accommodating and personable. Thank you to Gary the manager who welcomed us as we were celebrating 2 birthdays.Thank you to Diane the bartender for her outstanding service and personality! If you are lucky to have her serve you at the bar she makes outstanding cocktails!! Morton’s is a great steakhouse and I highly recommend it if you are in the Boston Seaport area!!
We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here tonight and could not have made a better choice! They were so welcoming, everyone at the restaurant wished us a happy anniversary. The food was beyond amazing and they made us feel so special. I am glad we drove up from another state to come here. Thank you again for a perfect evening. To top it all off, they took our picture and presented it in a cute frame so we had a special momento of the night.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Morton's in the Boston's Seaport, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Our server Sydney was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel completely taken care of throughout the evening. The pacing of the meal was perfect, and they were ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu. The quality of the service truly elevated the entire experience. And what a meal it was! The food was, in a word, amazing. As expected from Morton's, the steak was a masterpiece—cooked to absolute perfection and bursting with flavor. The sides were equally delicious, with generous portions that complemented the main course beautifully. I was particularly pleased to see the results of their recent renovations. The refreshed space feels both elegant and modern, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend Morton's in the Seaport for anyone looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience. The combination of exceptional service, incredible food, and a beautifully updated setting makes it a standout spot! Shout out to Wendy Paredes, the Assistant Manager! She was awesome and inviting to our grand daughter as we came into the restaurant with her!
Ok so my steak was cooked perfectly and the truffle butter was TOP TIER! This review isn’t about that this is about Sean behind the bar who went ABOVE and BEYOND, my fiancé left his jacket and this man literally ran down the street to give it back to us and there’s just not a lot of people like that out there anymore. Go to the bar go see Sean have a steak you won’t regret it.
My husband and I visited the restaurant while on our honeymoon. From the second we arrived at the restaurant we were treated like royalty. All of the staff were so kind and attentive, especially the manager. They had set a table for us with a heartfelt note congratulating us on our marriage. For dinner we both enjoyed the special and the steak was amazing, some of the best we’ve ever tasted, desert was fantastic as well. Thank you again to the amazing staff at Morton’s. Next time we’re in Boston we will be dining here again!
Great service with validated parking ($18 for 3 hours!). While this may not be as posh as some other steak places, one thing this place has is good service and great prices (for a steakhouse!). Items we ordered as of 6/2025: - French Onion Soup - $13 - Good flavor and size is appropriate for the price. While not the best we've had, still quite good. - 14oz Dry-Aged Ribeye - $65 - Absolutely delicious! Extremely tender with a fantastic beef flavor. I would definitely get this one again especially at this price point! They also had a Wagyu set when we went (for ~$80 if I recall) that came with 2 cuts of wagyu beef, 3 wagyu dumplings and a Szechuan green bean side. The 2 cuts of wagyu beef were marinated with a soy based sauce (I think) and were delicious and tender. The dumplings were also a huge hit with a great filling. The Szechuan green beans were alright as they were more sweet than spicy. Overall we were happy with the special and would recommend if they have it when you visit (avoid if you don't enjoy marinated beef!). Also of notable mention, their complimentary onion bread is AWESOME and one of the better breads I've had at a steakhouse!
I’ve never been to a Morton’s until this dinner and it definitely won’t be my last! Everything was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff made my friends and I feel so special by decorating our table for our graduation and printing a picture of us. I know that the steak is the star of the show, but I was especially impressed by the tuna poke appetizer. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—easily one of the best tuna dishes I've had in a long time. I ordered a medium rare ribeye, but it came out more rare, which was not a problem for me because I actually like it more on the rare side. The only slight miss for me was the asparagus—it was just okay, a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal. That being said, the service was excellent. Definitely looking forward to going back!
I must say we had one of the best nights out in along time!!! Hands down the best part of our night was our waitress (Meryem) she made the night so friendly and out going she went above & beyond for us !!! Our food was so delicious we enjoyed everything we ate …. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!!!!
Me and my boyfriend just visited Morton’s for the second time. This time, we were celebrating our anniversary and I can confidently say that I have not had such a positive experience dining anywhere else. They went above and beyond to make our night special. They had the table set up for us with a special note and a heart on the table before we arrived. The whole time they treated us like royalty. They took a beautiful picture of us and printed it out. The food both times was 10/10. You pay for the quality and experience. Danielle was our server and she made all the difference. We will request her every time going forward. She is hands down the best server we have had at ANY restaurant ever!! Thank you Morton’s for everything you do.
Came here for a birthday/ anniversary combo and everyone was very friendly and kind. They called my s/o beforehand to help create a 'custom' menu and make our night even more special. Steaks were cooked perfectly, sides, and mocktails were delicious! We were offered a complimentary dessert as well.
The waiter was very attentive and accommodating, fantastic service. Atmosphere was also top notch but just a bit loud. The food was very good, however for the price they charge, very expensive, I was expecting better. Not saying the food was bad, it was very good but less than I was expecting for such a place. The beef was slightly over done, so was the lobster, Good, but I feel, again at that price, should have been perfect. Very busy, lots of people, but again there was that feeling it could have been better.
The salmon was a little overcooked but not surprising because it’s a steak house. The filet was was rare perfect. The service was impeccable from friendly Gary and his handsome tie, to gregarious Jackie and Cindy too as well as shy Anwa.
Let me first say that I had an excellent cocktail. They're classic martini is very good. Also, their brussels sprouts, oysters and bread were very good. The entrees did not match the rest of dinner. The seabass was good, not great, but good. The steak had a decent flavor, but didn't live up to steakhouse quality. I've come to expect a good sear and some good marbling. My ribeye had no sear or char and was more akin to a sirloin with respect to marbling. It was a lean and dense steak, not like what you'd expect from a better steakhouse ribeye. I've even had better ribeyes at many family-style places that serve steak. I like to visit a finer steakhouse a few times a year. This did not live up to the standard.
The Wagyu filet mignon was a big letdown! Super chewy and not worth the price. My partner ordered medium and got medium rare; I ordered medium rare and got medium! Lmaoooooo At least my T-bone was delicious and flavorful! Tuna tartare was okay, but the asparagus was soggy, old, and had a strange smell. Our server was super kind and friendly! Great wine selection and lovely ambiance though. We’d come back but next time, we’ll double-check everything we order.
And then there was the mouse…Oh my! Two friends and I had dinner there after having attended an open-air event at the Pavillion across the street. Unfortunately, the weather was unseasonably cold, wet, and downright hostile for early June, so the glass of Cabernet Sauvignon at the bar portended for a great dinner at an upscale steakhouse or so I thought. The meal itself was good - not spectacular as one would expect when paying $73 for a bone-in Ribeye, but still good. Our waitress, Jackie, was affable and professional in her comportment and exchanges with our party. I was, however, surprised that after I informed her that the French Onion Soup Gratinee was too salty (plus, there was too much of an herb - thyme, I think - that coupled with the saltiness made the dish unpalatable), a woman approached the table and asked how we were enjoying our meal thus far. We had also ordered the Grand seafood platter, which didn’t disappoint; we said that we were enjoying the platter. I then said that I had returned the soup because it was too salty, and she stated, “Oh, I tried it earlier and thought it was fine.” I replied, “No, it was salty; I don’t like salty food.” Now, I’m sure the woman who approached our table was a manager of some kind; however, she never said so. Additionally, it’s all well and good that she thought the soup was fine, but I did not. I was the one who had ordered it, not she. The manager, presumably, was not unpleasant in our brief exchange; nevertheless, I found her pronouncement unusual and off putting. The rest of the meal - two bone-in Ribeyes; a filet; mashed potatoes (for two of us); fries; spinach and button mushrooms - was without incident until we were just about to leave the restaurant. We were the last patrons in the dining room at 10:05 on a Monday night. As we were getting up from our booth to leave, a mouse ran across the floor. It was clear as day as it made its way among the tables. My friend screamed, and I exclaimed, “A mouse!” She then replied, “Oh no, you know how afraid of mice I am. Let’s go.” As I said, we were leaving anyway as the night was coming to a close. We have been to this Morton’s before and have had lovely experiences, and perhaps we’ll go to this location again in the future, but seeing a mouse in the dining room was a shocking sight and certainly an unappetizing way to end an evening.
We managed to secure a spot in the less crowded bar area, but our server, a male, was incredibly inattentive and rude throughout the night. The 16oz New York Strip steak, which was supposed to be impressive, was disappointing. I was only offered one beer, and my server never even bothered to ask if I wanted a second. The only saving graces were the Caesar Salad I ordered and the bread they served. Considering that my friend and I spent around $200, I wouldn’t be inclined to return to this establishment in the near future. I would write the server’s name, but he never came around or even mentioned it.
This is my second visit to Mortons. The first visit last new years eve was exquisite. This year it was horrible. Our server, was slow slow slow. After 10 minutes, he finally came to our table. We made our order. The soup came, butternut squash, so much spiceu no other flavor. We asked for house salad but got a salad with nuts and apples. We had asked for house salad with thousand island dressing. Due to the slow service we ate what we were given. As we waited for our meal, we spilled our drink. No help anywhere. No one saw us in the entire place apparently. We used our napkins to sop up the red liquid and removed our own tablecloth. Finally a young server came and took our soiled tablecloth stained red from our drink. Still waiting 15 or more minutes, we got a new tablecloth. Then I saw a woman in a black top going table to table. I got her attention and told her we had been waiting for 25 minutes for our main course. She said she'd take care of it. A few minutes later, she brought our meals, saying our server had been waiting for plating. I wish I had waited, or not come at all when I looked at my plate. It was lovely but cranberry juice was on every thing on my plate. The food was cold. The stuffing was inedible, hard super sticky and flavored like, you guesses it, cranberry. The turkey roulade was dry and tasteless. I think they must have given us a returned meal or something worse. The place was loud, the service poor and the food, well, inedible. I also wonder why the matre de never stopped at my table when he went to every other table around us. It doesn't matter now, its just another example of a horrible experience in a place that used to be a premium restaurant.
