I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner! My coworkers and I were talking about Middle Eastern food all morning. When the food truck fell through, I already had shawarma and gyros on my mind. The person who took my order was very friendly. He gave me a sample of their famous lentil soup. Apparently there's a cult following for the soup. It was fire... literally and figuratively. He said it was a 5/6 out of 10 for spiciness and he was accurate. I'm more of a 2 to 3 level, but the taste was really delicious so I ordered one with my gyro salad. The restaurant is clean and bright. It's located at the corner of the plaza with lots of windows. I stopped by during lunch and there was a good amount of seating. The portions were generous and everything was delicious! Definitely going to add Kabob Shack to our weekly lunch rotation.

This is an excellent Kebab spot with traditional offerings as well as newer fusion with Mediterranean and some Mexican influences. I highly suggest trying the koobideh patties. I really love them they were juicy and had a sumac crust. The sauces they have are very delightful. The traditional yogurt sauces were great but the sauce I fell in love with was that chipotle sumac sauce. The price is great here especially compared to other restaurants with the same offerings. This is truly a gem in Chula Vista. I see myself coming back quite a bit. I will be doing the video review soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience at Kabob Shack! The chicken was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I accidentally made a mistake when placing my order, but the staff were so kind and corrected it right away at no extra cost. That level of customer service really stood out. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh and hot, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Kabob Shack to friends and family.

Passed by this place for a to go dinner we tried the famous chicken kabob and spicy chicken kabob with a side salad and a side of hummus and pita. Great service by Michael, he informed us of the recommended plates. Food was good and fresh pita was also fresh, the hummus tasted great, they forgot to give me any salsa but next time I will ask.

I like to order online so it’s ready when I get there. I love the falafel anything. My husband has had the kebab wrap, recently tried the gyro California burrito with chipotle sumac sauce and loved it. Texture and flavor (not dry) of the meat is exactly why we love to spend our $$$ here.

The food here was so fresh- this is one of the few places where I can eat plenty and not get bloated or tired since it’s high fiber and beans. Portions were plenty, it was our lunch and dinner. 5* tysm

We absolutely love Middle Eastern Cuisine, and Kabob Shack in Chula Vista is our go-to spot for a tasty meal! There are two locations in Chula Vista, but we especially enjoy visiting the one on the corner of E Street & Broadway. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxing dinner. Tonight, we were greeted with warm hospitality and outstanding service from Lazaro, Mike, and Noel. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food, as always, was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. From the tender kabobs, the rice plate & delicious sides, every bite was a treat. My husband especially enjoyed the tasty lentil soup and the grilled jalapeño! If you’re looking for delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine with top-notch service, a casual atmosphere, Kabob Shack is the place to be! Highly recommend!

This is my first time to go here, since I’m craving for gyros, I browse around google to find nearby Mediterranean restaurants, I went and ordered 3 gyros for me and my kids they’re delicious. They put it on the pan with the lid. I would recommend this place if you’re craving for gyros not only gyros they have, they also have variety just check out their menu.👍👍👍👍👍

Our first time here and it was excellent. We shared the gyro plate - fantastic. They even gave us a sample of their chicken which we will order next time. The place is charming and clean and the people take pride in their food and service. . And the tatziki is fabulous!!! I couldn’t post a picture of the food because we ate it all!! Highly recommend.

Kabob Shack was absolutely amazing! The gyro flatbread sandwich was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The meat was tender, the toppings were crisp, and everything was wrapped up just right. Said provided outstanding service and made the experience even better. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend Kabob Shack if you’re craving authentic, tasty food with great customer service!

Have not been to this restaurant in a while due to stomach troubles, unrelated to food from here but instead due to general health, but I am following Dr's orders as much as possible so I can return here sooner than later. The food is seasoned so well and tastes fresh, they have a good selection between things that are familiar to this so-cal region and some authentic Mediterranean dishes, excuse my ignorance if the region isn't accurate. But I have been coming here for a while, I was originally on the fence about trying it some years back, but ever since I tried it I am elated to have such a delightful kabob shack not too far from me. I'm counting the days until I can return ❤️🙏.

Delicious halal. Great take. I had the Moussa’s famous chicken kabab. Perfect seasoning. Went great with my GLP-1 diet. I’m thankful I came and will come back again soon. Try their home made cookies!

Ordered the family party pack for 4. It came with Rice, pita bread, Gryo meat, Chicken, Grilled tomato’s & jalapeño, & a Greek salad. It definitely hit the spot. The food was delicious. My only complaint is that they don’t give you enough pita bread. They forgot to give us our salad dressing but they were cool about it & gave us a 8oz to make up for it. So glad this spot is here. I live close by & I’ll definitely be back.

Ridiculous. The food is so magnificent you wont want to go to another kabobery. Props to the owners for making high quality food. We tried the gyro on pita, chicken tikka on pita with their garlic and sumac sauces, it left us speechless.

Great customer service, friendly employees. Food is amazing, I could easily eat this multiple times a week. The gyro is my favorite and portion sizes are perfect. I get full every time and usually need to take some of it home. The prices are more than fair for what you get. The only downfall of this place is its location as parking can be a little scarce in such a small but busy little corner. I recommend using their site/app to purchase as you can get points for discounted/free food

I’m vegetarian, this is my favorite falafel place in San Diego! Their falafel rice plate with a side of salad and grilled veggies is top! Their music taste is also excellent.

Went here for a post workout meal. It was AMAZING!! I had the the rice plate with the famous chicken!. The portion sizes are very generous. The side salad was perfect i love the olives that they use. And the chicken curry was so delicious! The staff was super nice

The koobideh was dry but I still ate it because I was not going to let $18.50 plus tax go to waste for this sorry rice bowl that did not even include a drink. I have not tried anything else except the chicken korma curry plate or whatever it was called and that was good. Maybe something else on the menu is more appetizing and affordable, but overall disappointed.
