Just passing through Tulsa, looking where to get a good burger. Hank's was it! It looks a little tired from the outside, but there's nothing tired about the burger or the service. I would definitely recommend Hanks. And try the homemade fries-they are great! Yum!

I’m visiting my sister in Tulsa, and we finally tried Hank’s Burgers. This place is small, almost like stepping back into a diner from the 1950s—and I mean that in the best way. Very little has changed, and it adds so much charm. Now, the food… hands down the best burgers I’ve ever had. The patties come with chopped onions grilled right into them, the buns are buttery and toasted, and the strawberry milkshake was thick with actual strawberries coming up through the straw. Everything was superb. The staff deserves just as much credit as the food. Even though the diner was packed and phones were ringing, they acknowledged everyone who walked in with a smile. The woman at the counter (I wish I’d gotten her name) was incredible—answering phones, taking orders, refilling drinks, and greeting customers without missing a beat. She managed to handle it all with grace and friendliness, making us feel welcome even in the middle of the rush. If you’re in Tulsa, do yourself a favor and stop at Hank’s. Bring your friends. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience. By far the greatest burger joint I’ve ever visited.

Best burgers in town, Hands down!!! You can never go wrong with the Hanks special! Better get onions both ways. If you’re up to it, the Okie. Don’t skip the okra either. If you don’t like okra, this will change your mind. Fried to perfection and seasoned the same. Just the right amount of salt and crunch to make you happier than you expected.

Easy 5 stars. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The bun, was one of the best burger buns I've ever had. I'm glad I didn't have breakfast that morning, or I wouldn't have been able to finish, the double burger is A LOT of burger for your buck! Onion rings (GIANT) were great too, though slightly overcooked, but still delicious! I'll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our first dine in experience at Hank’s Hamburgers. We went for dinner and the food + service were absolutely amazing. The lady taking orders was extremely good! She communicated amazing and made sure we were aware and okay with everything that came on our meal, she made the suggestion of onion rings and they did NOT DISAPPOINT! Some of the tastiest onion rings around in my opinion - phenomenal taste. It is a smaller dine in area (doesn’t bother us) but they also have pickup available + DoorDash! Will absolutely be back!

Such an amazing old fashioned hamburger joint. We enjoyed a single burger with fries and neither one could finish them. They are generous with their fries and the burgers were delicious. Served hot and made to order.

Ashamed I had never heard of Hanks before today. A coworker pointed me their way, and I could not be more pleased. I ordered the Hanks Special and it was great! Not a complicated burger, but a burger perfected. The service was friendly, and busy, the atmosphere was energetic with numerous people coming in for the lunch rush. My verdict: Hank could very well be the best burger joint I’ve eaten at in Tulsa, and they have set a high bar for any that follow for me. If you have the opportunity to eat there, just go. Do yourself a favor and just do it.

The food here was so good. The old fashioned burgers tasted amazing. Very cozy place just to sit and get a quick bite to eat or pick up through the window. The staff was friendly and with a short wait for our food. If you enjoy an Old fashioned Burger you won't be disappointed. Definitely a must try.

Great food, great service. Can not tell previous owners not still there.Have going to Hanks since early 90's. Has had 4-5 different owners. All have been consistently same great food and service.

In Route 66 and I believe this food was my favorite since arriving in Tulsa . Worth the money by far

First time coming in years. Hamburgers were juicy and flavorful. I had the onion rings, they were good but not my favorite batter. Hubby had the fries, he felt as if he got the leftover smaller pieces. We ate in the business, very small, but has an extra room in back. All in all I would eat there again, would love to try the okra and their shakes!

So very disappointed in Hanks. This review is not about the delicious food that I was unable to eat! Hanks is amazing food to eat when you get to eat it! Let me explain I tried to call in my order and no one would answer the phone. For anyone who is wondering they do not close at 7:00 they close at 6:50 and apparently stop answering the phone at 6:40. I tried to call in the order to make it easier as I knew we were cutting it close. By the time I drove there it was 6:50 and they didn’t let us in locking the door as we arrived. We live an hour away in Muskogee which to say the least is quit disappointing.
