Loved it here! This was my first time visiting Charlie’s. The vibe was chill and our server Chelsea was so sweet and informative. She let us know about the wing Wednesday special, so we got some lemon pepper wings which were out of this world. We also had the calamari, equally delish! Definitely coming back next Wednesday for the wing social again :) thank you Charlie’s! AND Chelsea!

Edwin was absolutely amazing and so accommodating when I felt like my food wasn’t correct he instantly corrected it and made it better. It was so nice to have someone care about even the smallest detail. I won’t be coming back for the food but I WILL be going back just to see Edwin and his amazing drinks! Only reason it’s getting 5 stars is for Edwin!

Atmosphere is amazing. Rachel was our server. She is very pleasant and just such a sweet soul. The bartender KC was also great, he did his thing. I would recommend this place to everyone. Real chill spot. Great for intimate or even chill.

I did my wedding reception here everyone was super friendly and accommodating my needs. Food was amazing the waitress David and the bartender Edwin assisted us with the most caring and warm way. I do recommend everyone to come to this place you will have fun. Thank you for the manager Jab for helping us as well... I definitely coming back.

I love Charlie’s. The service is great! Brunch is always delish. Alex our server was amazing. I got to catch up with my bestie and didn’t get rushed. We got shrimp and grits and my friend got the chicken and waffle with bacon and an egg. Cocktails are great and it’s always a cute spot!

I love coming here. I always try to get something different but I always do the burger with sweet potatoe fries or the fish and chips. Both a great go to. The drinks are also good and the bartenders will make it to your liking. Kinda craving the burger now as I write this review

Definitely a good sport for relishing well made cocktails. Recommend the hibiscus mezcal and 5 spice old fashioned. Our mixologist Edwin was wonderful and a great host with his recommendations. Also gave a taste of Bronx Elixir cocktails which had really interesting flavor notes(its kinda tikki + holiday cocktail vibe; worth trying if like something leaning sweeter). Verdict - definitely wanna come back more and hang out with local folks.

I was there on Christmas Eve. The cocktails were amazing. I tried the Bronx Tale elixir and it was delicious. The food was incredible. The service was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening. It's a great spot for a Saturday with a small group of friends in the mood for comfort food and fun.

The food was mediocre and overpriced. The place was very noisy and crowded. The waitresses could have used more help, they were very nice and professional. It was over 40+ yrs I been in this neighborhood which is now surrounded by many restaurants and condominiums not far from the third avenue bridge. The place was at one time called Piano Factory, which till this day it is still called. We waited over an hour to have our food served.

The venue is cute and, for a moment, makes you forget you’re in the Bronx. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for me. I’m not sure if there’s new ownership or new staff, but my experience this time was deeply disappointing. The BLT—something I’ve enjoyed here before and was genuinely looking forward to—was awful. The bacon was overcooked and barely there (maybe one strip total). I added chicken, which was oddly served on the side. When I asked why, I was told they didn’t want it to “deteriorate.” If they meant the bread, that ship had already sailed—the bread was already falling apart. In the past, this sandwich was served on sturdier bread with common sense. That was clearly missing this time. I also ordered a stack of pancakes. They were rubbery and burned. To make matters worse, the most scorched pancake was hidden on the bottom, which felt insulting. Honestly, I don’t understand how any self-respecting chef would send out food like that. I’m especially annoyed because I convinced my best friend to come out in snow and rain for what turned out to be subpar food. The only saving grace was Casey (or Kaysey), the bartender—excellent mimosas and genuinely great customer service. I’m still sitting here as I write this, mostly confused and disappointed. Whatever is going on at Charlie’s right now, the food has taken a serious turn for the worse.
