The food is typical. I would say slightly above-average for Chinese food takeout place. What keeps me coming back to this place is the warm people who work there. Everyone is always greeted in a pleasant manner. Great customer service.

Update: perhaps some chefs left, because this restaurant no longer gives generous amounts, prices increased slightly, and I have not received the complimentary items without asking (e.g., spend $15 and you get a free soda, etc). Food is still tasty, however. Original review: Great food and very friendly staff. Food is relatively cheap, and they give generous amounts.

Not a bad local spot. Delivery is fast and the people are very friendly. Ihad a mistake with an order and it was corrected promptly with a little extra. Very good customer service. **** Just because nothing is perfect. Compared to others in the neighborhood ill give **** . 5 stars..

On occasion I travel from Pelham Bay to grab an order to go for my family. Great food, good price, and worth going out of your way for. Also, sitting there for a few minutes will have you appreciating the amount of patience the staff here has, with some of the special cases who walk in, lol.

I'm going to have to go all the way to the Bronx for Chicken with Cashews, aren't I??? I've done this before, I'll do it again... Don't eat before going out to drink. Recipe for disaster. Gleason's up the block is supposed to have food, but the bartender said the kitchen was closed all day. I asked if we could bring food in, he said sure. Sprinted over to China Pavilion before they closed. Thought I'd order something I never ordered before. I am a creature of habit, but I'm working on that. Chicken. I like chicken. Cashews. I love cashews! Kismet! Sit at the bar and dig in. Oh. No. Why is this so good?!? I'm in public and I'm going to embarrass myself moaning. The DJ is pumping, so now all I have to worry about is my O-face. We destroyed the guy sitting next to us. He asked if China Pavilion was still open, looking longing at our food. He left his drink and never came back. He probably spent the rest of the night in a fruitless search. Poor guy.

When u make an order, the Chinese guy who deliveres ALWAYS demands a Tip in a disrespectful way and will feel some type of way when You don’t Tip raising his voice in his language. And they always say 1 hour wait for delivery. Check food after it deliveres to you.

Ordered a chicken and broccoli and requested less oil. The lady behind the counter said yeah, yeah, yeah, less oil. But what they made me was an extremely oily dish with a huge puddle of oil at the bottom. If this is their less oil version, I can't imagine how much oil their regular dishes contain. Avoid this place if you value your health.

Ordered a chicken and broccoli and requested less oil. The lady behind the counter said yeah, yeah, yeah, less oil. But what they made me was an extremely oily dish with a huge puddle of oil at the bottom. If this is their less oil version, I can't imagine how much oil their regular dishes contain. Avoid this place if you value your health.

The place is old and run down.. they are the most expensive Chinese restaurant in the area.. poor customer service.. and they charge you to put ketchup or bbq sauce on your food just overall greedy people! I wouldn’t order from them jsut save your moneyc

Brought a chicken and rice soup, first of the charged more then the average amount. Second they gave me about 4 little strips of chicken and when I brought it to their attention they told me that I paid little money like my value was nothing. Very offend and upset of service and treatment. They feel they can charge higher prices and give little food because they across the street from a police station. Would not recommend to anyone, not even the criminals locked up across the street 😷
