I’m not sure why so many bad reviews but this place is great. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, place is very clean and neat. You do have to keep in mind that they are busy so you must have patience when you order for delivery and eat in. The staff is very friendly. A major plus is the food is cooked right in front of you. My first delivery was amazing, they were out of one pastry which I understood, it was late in the day, but I got a quick phone call and was given 2 items in replace. Very kind of them, the wrap was delicious and still hot when I received it. It was prepared with care. This is definitely my new favorite place to order from.

This is my favorite diner of all time! I'm not even exaggerating. The food and service is the best in my opinion. I always get breakfast from here. I get grites, soft scrambled eggs with patty sausage or corn beef hash. White toast with butter and grape jelly. A coffee or hot chocolate. I just really enjoy it. I sat in the booth and felt safe and comfortable.

Stopped by Dyre Ave Diner to kill some time before an appointment. Typical diner/hole-in-the-wall vibes. Ordered a short stack, sausage patties, and coffee since the reviews said the pancakes were really good. Glad I listened because the pancakes were absolutely amazing and the sausages were just the right amount of burnt to them, literally *chef’s kiss*. Also, everything was under $14. Honestly, I’m glad I stumbled across this diner!

I just delivered from this place today and it was so delicious. I had a western omelette with tomatoes on the side delicious. I didn’t have the picture cause I ate it. Everything the cheeseburger was great. The chicken noodle soup was great. I was a happy girl today thank you guys. Good job.

This is THE local diner. Right across from the train and bus, serves breakfast, burgers, tea, bottled juices, whatever you would expect from a diner. People often come in and out for delivery/pick up and I've never had to wait for a seat in the decades I've lived here. Do NOT try to park on Dyre though. Leave your car at home and come by train/bus!

I usually go out for breakfast on Sunday mornings and I have been looking for a diner around the area I ordered a Ham Egg & Cheese on a croissant and it was so good! Their coffee is also amazing. My first time here & I have to say the employees are really friendly & very attentive. There were so many food items to choose from (cold & hot), so of course I was unable to taste everything, but from the several items that I happily piled my plate with,..all was very fresh & absolutely delicious! I had a little bit of fried fish, linguine, sauteed Cabbage, Collard Greens, Crab Salad. Yes! I ate it all😂, I will be back & I highly recommend it! I ordered the bacon and eggs platter on door dash. I added cheese on eggs. The eggs had no cheese but I still got charged for it.. I've ordered this for delivery a few times before and never had a problem.. Please be more mindful next time

I just came in today Oct 4, 2022 had a really bad experience with the staff. They weren't very nice at all. I get it they were busy, but the service I received was lackluster.

I ordered buffalo wings and there were feathers all over it. Still, I'll give them 3 stars because their salads are delicious and they have a really good chicken wrap. Hours sucks but I understand they open very early. Currently has a B rating.

Food is Great, but the service is horrible. I have waited over two hours for just eggs and home fries. The funny thing about this dinner is when you call them to find out about your order/Delivery the phone girl snaps at you with a terrible attitude. Really!!!!

U won't get decaffeinated coffee here just rising prices like 4 slices of bread French toast that's going to run you around $8 by it self. A cup of oat meal $5-$6 by it self..if you don't have a home to make you own and have the money to waste this is the place for u.

Pretty okay location. A friend had recommend and brought me there in which located right across the street from the 5 Train station. Their Latte is off the hook, I must say that I was super impressed by the turn out. It was perfect. The server was very nice, the place was roomy and had options of television to watch as you eat and I had a pretty good experience. Did I mention I tipped the server in which was a lady twice because she was so pleasant and helpful and described all the offerings they had and so kind. Live Life Unscripted...

Whoever is on the Sunday Cook shift seriously needs to be fired. They never follow instructions and the food quality is poor. I might have to only order on saturdays instead of the entire weekend. I’ve also ordered coffee from here and had a whole bunch of coffee grounds at the bottom. I’ve been coming here for 3 years but will start to look elsewhere.

The people at the Grill used their phones and do not wash they hands. Cell phones are full of germs and one guy took off his hat and rubbed his head and continued to handle food with out washing hands. Not very conscience of hygiene for the cooks. H

Overpriced quality of food is not there

I order from them all the time and this time the food was all wrong. The solution that was offered was to come get the food and wait for another delivery . I ordered a blt on a roll and an bacon egg and cheese. The blt came on toast and the egg was thinner than a slice of cheese . I was told that the deliveries usually get checked but they were so "busy" that they were not checked . When I checked my receipt the order was put in wrong . I most likely will not use them again .

Saltiest soup I've ever had 5$ for high blood pressure....the Chinese soup 3$ (same size pint container) with MUCH LESS sodium across the street! I'll stick with them 🇨🇳👌🏾

Non working toilet. Very slow waitress but food was decent. We arrived and it took nearly 15mins to get her attention to give us menus and place our order. The place was decently full not packed. The people behind the counter are quick and get orders fast out to customers. The waitress was slow enough that we were not the only table complaining about slow service. I went to use the restroom and it was not clean and the toilet was not working (clogged) if you are looking for a quick bite sit at the counter and order but not at the tables. I do not recommend this place otherwise but does have loads of space/tables for large groups. Food was good though so no complaints there.

Had a bacon egg and cheese and it just didn't taste good at all. You could completely taste the food they were making prior. At almost 10$ I would expect a little better. The cashier was very polite and pleasant.

2 days in a row I have received the wrong order I call again today to correct it and he says he’s to busy and won’t know when he can send it it’s now over two hrs I asked to speak to a manager and he claims no one can help me and that he will send it to me tomorrow the next day smh I paid over 30$ Today and over 45 yesterday and explained I wanted what I paid for and was just coming out of work from overnight shift this is horrible customer service and I shouldn’t have to deal with whatever they want to send but should receive what I paid for the prices are not cheap

Delivery took 1 and a half and I'm literally a 3 minute drive away...by the time my food got to me it was freezing...Grits tasted like the box they came out of....breakfast looked like it would of been great had it been hot.

I received the wrong order.I called back to make them aware that a mistake was made.The lady I spoke with and took my orders name is Arlene she first tried to flip it saying it was my fault. I explained to her I gave you the order twice.Next remark was “well you don’t make mistakes “..Not the point she refused to work this out ..Bad Customer service..Bad attitude.

Ordered breakfast pancake platter, which I have been doing for the past 3 weeks and today order came without any condiments. Who eats pancakes without syrup. Called and spoke to the manager and he said there was nothing he could do about me not having syrup. I politely hung up on him and just want him to know his service is completely unsatisfactory. No syrup for pancakes and I’m at work. He did not try to compromise in anyway.

My mother was trying to fix an error on an order through the telephone and the lady who picked up was very rude and lacked empathy towards the fact we couldn't pick it up. Will never order from here again Part 2 I decided to give them a second chance I was wrong. Never ordering from here again . Driver brought food from different restaurant and lady on the phone was rude and obnoxious. Never got the food and spent at least 40 bucks Part 3 My mother place another order 2 years later only to wait 2 hours only to be told there are no delivery people avaliable. Menus prices are in accurate. Prices charged are higher than in the menu. When I explained this to the cashier he said he was aware of this but couldn't do anything about it. He explained that the boss was aware of this problem but he didn't care . Do not eat here unless you want to pay more than the advertised price. You have been warned.

Ok today I ordered food from this place like I did 5 times before.i ordered the south of the burger cheese fries and 3 layer cake. All the times I ordered from there food was on point and the guy that delivered is the best..today it comes no cheese on fries and only like 12 fries and the fries not even cook all the way through the cake for sure was tap into. I am not saying they all knew about this.but there is someone that is in a rush back there cooking and they are hoping people don't call back and complain..I will and I did..but when I did call back they took care of it all and I was very happy. Only reason I gave that 1 star cause of what happened today..I work construction I get a 30 minute break.. food is very important the way I perform my work especially in this cold..I would like to thank the staff there for making it right and the driver for making sure it got here hot...this is a great little restaurant things happen but it's how you deal with it and they pull through..thanks and be safe but this place is a 5 star joint for sure next time I ordered I give 5 star

Awful.. There was a hair between my toast, corn beef hash was old and distasteful..service is mediocre..I i would not recommend or go back to this place.. im literally vomiting everything back up.. not clean or healthy. Good luck to anyone who chose to eat here does so at their own risk..
