i LOVE the buñuelo doughnut filled with dulce de leche 😋 it’s the best doughnut i’ve ever had!! so fluffy! my husband loves the coffee and the guava and cheese empanadas 😌 highly recommend coming here for a sweet treat when you’re at the mall!! (also i’m sorry if i described the buñuelo incorrectly!! my spanish isn’t the best 😆)
Entrees were deliscious and service was very warm and welcoming. A great spot to come to when you're at the mall.
Today I went with my sisters and my baby. I sat at the bar, and Javier was very attentive to my family and my baby, who smiled at him. I loved the waiter's attitude; he made me feel at home and safe. The food was 10/10, and the juices were delicious. I was very happy from the moment I arrived until I left. I will return with my husband❤️
Previously, a waitress gave me poor service, but I decided to give this place another chance. I wanted Colombian-style chicken, but the waiter Javier convinced me to order a churrasco with rice and green plantains, which I loved. His service was exceptionally punctual and attentive. I will definitely return. This time I was delighted and highly recommend it.
Amazing food but the staff 10 out of 10 they were sweet attentive and respectful. My waiter was amazing the drinks were good and the food
Food is so delicious. Every dish was cooked perfectly. Beans couldn’t have had a bit more seasoning along with the white rice could have had a bit more salt but other than that I really enjoyed the food. I tried the coconut lemonade and was my favorite. Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the mall looking for a good food. Service was also good.
Today was my first time visiting sabrosito here at Bay Plaza. It is also the first week of the restaurant opening! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the owner. The owner was supper friendly and even showed me around the restaurant. Once I was seated, I was greeted by a wonderful waiter. As a new restaurant, the food took some time but it was well worth the wait!! The food is amazing!!!!!! The food was fresh, flavorful. The music in the restaurant was also amazing. The whole vibe in here is amazing! Good luck to everyone at sabrosito! I can’t wait to come back again!! I definitely recommend this place to everyone!!
Tried Noches De Colombia at Bay Plaza Mall and the food was good, but the real standout for me was the coffee. I honestly fell in love with it. Every time I come to the mall now, I make it a point to stop in just for a cup. That said, the atmosphere was a bit much for my taste. Overall though, solid food, great coffee, and definitely worth stopping by especially if you’re a coffee lover.
I’m putting restarts for service and for for atmosphere because I am thinking about historical experience while out with my mom for the last 6 to 7 years this location has been open. I feel like for the bakery entrance while it is what it is getting their assignment of what items are available in the food for portion of this business message to below. I really do like the hot chocolate butter served scalding hot. It’s one of the 1st miles was outside entry so I know it’s only Saturday, but I know volume and proper resets and checking in is an issue. I would be very willing to update it next time. I have a dining /bar experience.
My family and I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The workers were polite and efficient. But one thing the music was to loud. It made it impossible for my family to have good conversations. We had to be raising our voices to each other. Would be greatly appreciated if the music was turned lower.
I have been to several Noches de Colombia and they are more money hungry than trying to serve you good food. The rice was mushy but everything else was good. There's a "Dining experience" charge for %18 and above that they were asking for a tip that also shows from %18 and up. It feels very dishonest and expensive. I will not be going back to these chain restaurants after several incidents with them.
Over priced food and not tasty at all. I had the fried red snapper. It came with tostones; hard as a rock. My husband ordered the bandeja paisa; not good. Too expensive for food that we did not enjoy.
I’ve dined here approximately four times and the last two times, I was not pleased. The food is decent but inconsistent in quality and taste. I do not recommend buying their breakfast meals. The servers, although they are polite and attentive, have a tendency to add 18 percent gratuity automatically on the bill even though this practice is not the restaurant’s policy. I find this practice dishonest. They are only supposed to add it to meals that equate to fifty dollars and over. When I called to speak to the manager about my latest experience, I was placed on hold and it Didn’t appear that she cared to speak to me. The only reason that I might return is because of the convenience and friendliness of the waiters but they need to stop being shady about the gratuity and step up their game for food quality.
The food was 4/5 , beans lacked a bit flavor. The lemonade 5/5, mojito a bit pricey 3/5. Service could be better in terms of checking on us and letting us know on time regarding the availability of certain foods. We came in excited for the breaded chicken and rice , but then we told theres no more rice lol . Then we got told there was going to be a wait time so we decided to wait since we were already there and hungry. Almost forgot, in the beginning we decided to get an App. we chose the mini empanadas, but there was no more beef lol. Overall its a nice place , needs some improvement for sure. Expect to spend $$ here , they charge a 18% dinning experience.
Let’s dive in! While the service wasn't quite up to par, it's important to pay attention to the reviews. We had wings for an appetizer, but I've definitely had better. The ribs were a bit too spicy for my taste, and the beans could use more flavor. I believe there are better dining options available!
English: Noches de Colombia has been a favorite of mine for its flavorful Latin dishes and lively atmosphere, but after today’s experience, I’m seriously rethinking my recommendation. Past Dine-In Experience: Previously, I enjoyed hearty meals like the Filete a la Plancha and Ensalada Mixta. Portions were generous, the atmosphere warm, and the service generally good. Takeout: The bakery section is the most reliable part. Pastries like Croissant Espinaca are fresh and satisfying. However, the takeout breakfast, lunch, and dinner options fall short—smaller portions and lower quality compared to dining in. Today’s Visit: I work in the mall and came in with a coworker just before the lunch special cutoff. I explained to our waitress, Susana L., that we were on a tight lunch break, doing my best with the little Spanish I know. Despite arriving on time, we were told we missed the lunch special, which wasn’t true. We ordered anyway, but the food took so long that we never got to eat it there. My coworker had to leave to avoid being late back to work, and I stayed behind—late for work myself—just waiting. To make matters worse, the order was wrong. When I pointed this out, the waitress acted like she was doing me a favor by not charging for the wrong items, which felt dismissive. Our bill was $60 for two meals and a limonada, including a dining experience surcharge and a credit card fee—even though we never actually dined in. There was a significant language barrier, making it hard to communicate concerns or clarify anything. Overall, the visit left me feeling frustrated and ignored. Final Thoughts: The bakery is still worth visiting, but for full meals, be prepared for poor communication, long waits, incorrect orders, hidden fees, and dismissive service. Ask clearly about specials and fees upfront, and don’t expect concerns to be easily addressed if you don’t speak fluent Spanish. I would like a refund, my food got cold and I wasn't able to eat it. The tostones where hard and tasted like they were cooked in burnt oil.
Customer service was good, the guy who served me was very nice and knowledgeable about the deserts. I got two Pb tres leches cakes. The first was so dry you can tell it wasn't fresh probably a few days old, couldn't even finish it. The second one had mold 🙃(pic below). I don't normally leave reviews but that second cake did me in.
unfortunately i would not return to this restaurant. i went to dinner with my family last night (1/30/26) and we were all thoroughly disappointed with our food. the mini empanadas were good but we did not enjoy the entrees at all. the arroz con pollo had a smell/bad taste, the steak and chicken breast were extremely dry. the live music was deafeningly loud (we asked if they could lower it just a little which our server Gabriel did but then someone else subsequently turned it back up again). we left most of our food untouched and i don’t want to assume but we noticed customers around us doing the same. definitely will not be returning and i would advise others to do the same.
Went there last night for an early Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband. We were extremely disappointed with the food. Nothing was seasoned…not even with salt. The beans just tasted like they were boiled with only water. The carne molido tasted like cooked the ground beef. No seasoning at all. And it wasn’t cheap. We are not people that will send food back but we will never return. Service was ok. They initially sat us under a speaker. We asked to be moved because we couldn’t hear the waitress nor each other. Waitress came by but only spoke to us in Spanish. They have a cash and a card price for each item. We were automatically charged the card price…which is higher. This was a 1 time only spot for us.
8$ beers. What?? The food is expensive enough. This is crazy. Why pay this any other bar/restaurante will be 5 or 6. 8$ come on man. And this is in all their locations. This is terrible. First and last time bartender are rude, like you bothering them, no expressions or anything, like they dont want you to sit there. Weird.
I am truly disgusted and appalled by the treatment I received tonight at Noches de Columbia in Bay Plaza. This was my first time visiting this establishment, and it will absolutely be my last. While standing in line, I was behind a woman and her mother as they completed their order. I was actively waiting my turn, looking at the menu displays to finalize my order. I was briefly speaking on the phone, but I was clearly next in line and fully present. Behind me stood a Hispanic man. As the cashier finished processing the previous customer’s receipt, instead of addressing me the next person in line she looked directly past me, greeted the man behind me, and began taking his order. When I spoke up, the cashier dismissively responded, “Oh, you’re on the phone,” as if that somehow justified skipping me entirely. I was stunned. Being on the phone does not negate my place in line, nor does it excuse being ignored in favor of someone else. As a Black woman, this interaction felt blatantly disrespectful and discriminatory. The message was clear: I was invisible and unworthy of basic courtesy or service. I immediately walked out in shock. This behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply disturbing. I will never give my money to a business that treats customers this way, and I strongly caution others to think twice before supporting an establishment that allows such conduct to occur.
We decided to try Noche de Colombia at Bay Plaza Mall after hearing so much about it, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food was overpriced and lacked flavor, and the service was below expectations we had to repeatedly ask for basic items such as napkins and sauce. While the music was enjoyable at first, the volume was later turned up so high that it became difficult to hold a conversation at the table. The only highlights of the meal were the chicken empanadas and the soda. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
I will never come back. The workers are rude. They lack character and I hope people stop spending their money on unprofessional establishments. I ordered a small strawberry shortcake because I didn't know it was pudding at the bottom. Before I left the store, I realized and asked for a tiramasu instead. It was unopened and still in the bag as she just handed it to me. I offered to pay the difference. She was about to do it but she asked her manager and then refused me service. Columbia del noche is a type of bussiness that lacks good customer service and I hope the company fails. We need to stop supporting businesses who purposefully make life harder for consumers but want our money. Edit: I went home and tried it hoping it wouldn't be bad. It was DISGUSTING. Now I'm extra mad. Take your money elsewhere. If I decide to be petty I will file a claim and get my money back. It's about the principal. You can't be non cooperative when the food is nasty.
Date of service 9/16/2024, dinner service on a quiet night. Seated in about 3 minutes. Staff seemed uninterested in serving and inattentive. Could not hear my party talk as we had music blasting and lights flashing nearby. Received my uncooked Salmon, kindly asked waitress to bring another Salmon out which she was very kind about taking my request. Received my second try at cooked salmon which had been cooked thoroughly but some of the food that was on the first plate was missing off the second serving which I didn’t bother asking about after a establishment wasn’t able to even cook a small piece of salmon. Some of the food including rice seemed to have not been prepared fresh more like sitting in back ready to be served up. Tried a slice of potatoes on my first plate and didn’t get back on second plate was cold and flavorless. Plenty of staff around but were inattentive until 10 minutes through to get a water refill. Party of 3 spent $150 (3 plates, 1 $14.99 Alcoholic drink, two pieces of cake to go). End up paying the bill (including uncooked Salmon on the bill) not a problem until we got charged an automatic gratuity tip of Noche De Colombia choosing on the bill which was the cherry on top. Let me remind you my Salmon was not cooked first serving (Check below, no zoom in needed) Save your money from this chain but if you love donating money to charities this is your spot! They will gladly take that plastic in your wallet even if you’re choking on the chefs special. In other words, you’re not receiving the service you are paying for on $30+ Entrees and $15 drinks. Take that hard earned money elsewhere.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It took an excessive amount of time for them to acknowledge our presence, and even then, they appeared rushed and uninterested in providing a pleasant dining experience. As you can see in the picture they brought all our food and we had no utensils or napkins on the table. By the time we got utensils the food was cold! The food wasn’t that great anyway. To make matters worse, upon receiving our bill, I was shocked to see that a 20% gratuity charge had been automatically added. While I understand the importance of tipping, it is highly unprofessional and unappreciated to impose such a steep gratuity without consulting the customer. This practice left me feeling coerced and taken advantage of, especially considering the poor service we received. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. The combination of subpar service and the imposition of a significant gratuity charge without consent left me feeling unsatisfied and disheartened. I would strongly advise potential diners to consider other establishments that prioritize customer service and fair pricing.
