There aren't enough adjectives to describe how much I love this cafe! Wonderful staff, wonderful drink and food, beautiful decor and atmosphere..and the cleanest restaurant bathroom in NYC! This place is truly the jewel of broadway in the Bronx. I'd give it an infinite amount of stars if it were possible.

The food is healthy if you are trying to keep up with your diet, and the food tastes amazing. The service is friendly, and always make sure that they got the order right. The atmosphere is so calm that you don't want to leave sometimes. The only thing is it's a little expensive but it's understandable too considering the ingredients.

I've been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The coffee is delicious. Pastries are fresh. While I haven't had things like their salads, they look amazing too. They do host events like Open Mics and Spoken Word sessions, as well as bringing live music, so following them on social media is a good idea to catch those events. It has a family-feel to it, so you go more than once and you'll already know the staff and they'll know you. The staff is great. And whenever the owner is present, he's really attentive and nice, even goes out of his way to make sure you feel comfortable there.

From the day they open their doors to now, this cozy place is amazing. First their waiters are the most polite and professional in the area. Second their menu is chic and good taste. Third the atmosphere is cozy, peaceful and chic. Lastly is my favorite place in all this area to go and work on my computer, have a business meeting, catching up with friends, in general, they the best! Love coming back here.

I have been going to Mon Amour for a few years now. I love the small community atmosphere and really enjoy the food and coffee. My favorites are the Mon Amour cuban, the latte, and the chai with oatmilk and cinnamon. The pastries are also delicious and all of the staff are truly friendly and welcoming. I appreciate the cleanliness and just how cute the space is.

This cozy little place is a beautiful gem on Broadway. They serve breakfast, lunch and now pizza!!! Best coffee in the area!! Lots of options to eat too. They have a wine & draft beer selections as well. It’s a perfect little place to meet up with a friend or 2 for brunch or lunch. After work is a cozy place to share a glass of wine with friends or family. Perfect little spot to have a casual conversation. The place is small but it has a lovely atmosphere you can’t find. I love their vegan options especially their baked goods. Every time I’m around the area I stop by.

Great place! The staff is attentive. Prices are really good. I usually go there for dessert and coffee (their teas are AWESOME!) but I’ve seen their wine selection and it looks interesting and for a fair price. Next time I go I will try. I been here a few times and it just gets better. The baked goods are always good, but today I had the iced mocha coffee and let me tell you, they made it fresh! They made a fresh cup of espresso for this. I can't tell you how much of a difference that made. Yeah sure, Starbucks makes a pretty looking one, but taste-wise, Mon Amour is better with fresh baked goods that aren't pre-packaged.

I got a ginger green tea, with a vegan chai chocolate chip cookie. They have vegan pastries, but no vegan savory foods. They do have vegetarian savory dishes (caprese panini, and avo. panini). I paid $6 for both tea and cookie. Its worth the occasional splurge.

I have been coming to this Café since they opened. I lived in the neighborhood and welcomed the idea of a local coffee shop with open arms. I was tired of driving to an old neighborhood on the upper westside for a similar experience. I was grateful to have a place with both of my two favorite things coffee and wine. What I love most about here is the feeling as if you're at home a long with the quality coffee, breakfast, lunches and wine. This spot is great for small conversations with friends, work and studying almost anytime of the day. When you come you'll get quality coffees. For breakfast my go to is the Jeffe with turkey instead of ham and avocado. The Jeffe is a turkey, cheese, onion, tomatoes and egg sandwich on a pretzel croissant. For lunch I love the caprese salad. With friends I like to get a pizzete pie. I enjoy their cappuccinos and iced chai. Despite moving out of this neighborhood I still enjoy an hour visit from time to time. I find it worth my commute.

I recently visited this establishment after running my errands this Sunday. I saw the sign and I just had to walk inside. I was immediately greeted as soon as I walked through the door which is always a plus. It is not a big coffee shop or cafe but it is so cute and intimate. I ordered an Iced vanilla latte, a salted caramel latte and a fudge brownie. The espresso is delicious and not too acidic. It is a good strong cup of coffee. The bonus is they provide Coconut milk for $0.35 which is cheaper than Starbucks ($0.60) a total plus for me because dairy and me are not friends. They heated the brownie up in this toaster oven like thing and it was delicious but, it did not make it home. The brownie was moist and gooey and the edges were nice and crispy. I do not think the brownie was made inhouse but, I enjoyed it anyway. I did notice that they did not have a behind the scenes kitchen so everything is prepared in front of you. Which is cool because I enjoy watching people prepare my food. I did not try any real food such as there paninis or salads. They sell wine and beer as well. I plan to come back and try out something else. Overall I had a great experience and I cannot wait to try other items on the menu.

Mon Amour is a delightful neighborhood treasure. The cappuccino was so good, I decided to treat myself to a second one. I dined here with one of my best friends and I absolutely loved it. The service was top notch as were the products sold. My friend and I ordered Rose, an almond croissant, a croissant sandwich and a meal containing eggs and potatoes (I do not recall as this was back in March). While I do not recall the exact order, I clearly remember that I was satisfied with the quality of the pastries and croissant. The Rose was delicious and my cappuccino was legitimate. The atmosphere was international and comfortable. You could work or study here and you could dine here with friends. I felt safe and comfortable and would happily return. We came right after Sunday Service at my church and apparently a lot of people came here for the same reason as us… the place was packed, the ambiance was GREAT, you could hear everyone talking and still enjoying the music… the vibe here felt soooo great!! Their service was TOP NOTCH, even with just 1 waitress for the whole place and while it was PACKED, she made sure she covered every table and made several rounds to see how everyone was doing. I can’t wait to be back… Their food was definitely of the bestest best best I have had… everything was freshly made and they “cook” right in front of you, which made it even better, you can actually see why this place was so packed! They are very careful with the food and loved being able to see that! Everything about this place was ABOVE AND BEYOND EXCELLENCE!! Coffee, food, service, every category deserves 5+ Stars. I pass this place all the time. I love my coffee, but on a Friday night ,I decided to pop in and the dj was spinning- yes,I said spinning, (as in vinyl) tunes from way back in the day-late 70s jams-that really touched my soul. They have a nice beer selection and good wines. The menu looks enticing , and had I not eaten earlier, I would have sampleda few items. To tell you the truth, I was rather impressed with their set up in a small space But to their credit, the staff really pulls it off beautifully. I'm impressed with their efficiency ,and their dedication to making it work. There's nothing I appreciate more than caring, dedicated workers.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. I wish they would have asked how much half and half I wanted in my drip coffee instead of assuming though, because it was more cream than coffee. My bagel and cream cheese was made wonderfully though.

Mon Amor is setting itself up to be the best coffee / wine bar in the area. The service is friendly and there is an honest attention to detail. It seems they are still figuring a few things out on the menu and refining what they do best. The coffee is getting better and their wine / beer selection can't be beat. Live DJ's and giant televisions somewhat belie the small cozy coffee / wine bar vibe. Come here on a random Sunday evening and pour over your favorite book while drinking a few glasses of Malbec.

This coffee shop was a hidden gem easily missed in the hustle and bustle of the area it's in. I came in a bit hesitantly since I was by myself and I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff man behind the counter may have seen right through me as he stepped out from there and greeted me warmly yet politely. His demeanor was more like a seasoned bartender at a high end hotel bar and not at all like the so-called baristas at chain coffee shop who are just fast food workers. He steered me to an area where I found a seat facing opposite to the street. Frome there I was able to observe the shop and I quickly saw customers come in who I could tell were regulars because the staff recognized them and seemed to anticipate what each customer wanted. I wished the street noises couldn't be heard inside and that the cafe was a bit bigger, But the place still felt comfortable and would be great to use to meet up someone. The latte I ordered was well made and the pastry was fresh and delicious. I came in during the afternoon and there was a pleasant breeze coming through the opened window, so it might be quieter when the windows and door are closed. I noticed as I was leaving that the evening crowd is totally different and the place did begin to feel more like a vibrant bar for adults. So I can't speak for how it is at night other than to say the staff seemed like they seemed like they would handle that crowd well and make the place feel just as inviting in restaurant/bar mode as it was in cafe mode.

The place is nice with great ambience people go there to do their work and relax the coffee is great but I didn't rank the food because I only went in for a cup of coffee and left to take the train one of these days I'll go there for a bite to eat and rate the food plus they supposedly have a craft beer menu gotta try that. But every time I pass by this place there is always people in there and sometimes they have some story telling events.

This is a very nice and hipster place to just sit down, relax, and eat. I ordered a hot chocolate and croissant, and it tasted great. The vibe of the cafe made me feel like home. A little on the pricey side, but if you’re in Riverdale, this is a great place to come and chill.

My husband and I placed an order to-go which was just an iced coffee and 1 sandwich. The coffee came out fast and we were left waiting 30 minutes for the sandwich… it was a bit confusing and didn’t make sense as to why it took so long especially after seeing other people placing hot food orders AFTER us and they got theirs first… delicious coffee (best one I’ve had in a really long time) but the service makes us hesitant on coming back

Visited twice and the experience was the same. The matcha coffee is ok. They never have the turmeric flavor was removed from their availability, but not from their menu. The croissants do not taste fresh. The service can be highly improved. Over all, the place is cute.

I visited Mon Amour recently and was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered an iced chai latte with almond milk but after trying it they served me an iced latte. I proceeded to walk back to the cafe and I politely asked if they could clarify what I'm drink and please remake it, but to my surprise, the staff refused. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of willingness to correct the error was really frustrating. As a small business owner myself customer service is just as important as the quality. This experience left me annoyed that I wasted my money on a drink I had to throw out and tipped staff who were extremely rude.

Perhaps I came on a bad day considering all the other great reviews. So I order a cappuccino and almond croissant, I asked if it can be toasted and the gentleman kindly said yes, so I had a seat and waited for my order. the gentleman brought me my coffee which was actually pretty decent. So as I am waiting for my croissant, I noticed that it’s taking a little longer than it should considering I just wanted it warm up. So I got up and I asked the Hispanic lady who I guess handles the coffee if the almond croissant was ready. She said yes but doesn’t Do anything, so I sat back down and waited a minute or two, she comes to my table and tells me she doesn’t have any almond croissant, which was puzzling, so as she see the look of confusion on my face given I saw the almond croissant she tell me “I actually burned it” and literally laughed in my face and walked away, nor had the decent courtesy to apologize. Unfortunately, this was extremely disappointing because as I said, the coffee was decent, but I will not be returning, considering the lack of professionalism. Frankly she should not only work there, but definitely not represent the establishment.

I've always enjoyed coming here for some coffee and to study prior to class, today I brought my family for a quick bite, I’m not sure what the servers issue was but today I brought my family for a quick bite and he was entirely disrespectful. Despite being a regular customer who always makes a point to order, I was singled out and asked to leave because I wasn't planning to purchase more items and needed to give my seat to other customers. This directive felt unjust, especially when I observed others lingering without making any purchases. Feeling humiliated and confused by this interaction, I made my way to the register to settle my bill. However, the owner's lack of acknowledgment or apology further soured my impression of the establishment. The busy wave slowed down, and there were more seats available, but at that point, the damage was done. It's disheartening to say that despite my initial fondness for Mon Amour as a small business in my community, I won't be returning after this unfortunate experience.
