I was just in the mood for something diffrent ran across this one and another thank god i followed my vibe there taco bowl was great and yes there tongue taco's are excellent delivery within 25 mins pleasant i will be eating there again.

Some good Mexican food here at Huarache. It's one of my fave Mexican joints in this neighborhood. I usually have the tacos. They're affordable and delicious. The green sauce is pretty yummy. They're also served with a smoky hot sauce. Definitely give them a try. Right off the 4 train Mount Eden stop, on the hill.

This little known taqueria in the Bronx probably has the best authentic Mexican burritos I've ever tasted, and I'm a bit of a burrito connoisseur. You can order off the menu, but since every burrito is made fresh it's no issue for the chef to take special requests (I like mine extra spicy). If you're in the area and you want burritos or tacos, I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Very nice Mom & Pop place to enjoy some real authentic food. At the time when I went there, They was only accepting Cash and Zelle, Zelle was the easy option for me to pay, the staff was very nice and helped me out with some of the food I was not to familiar with. The place is small but in a great spot for the neighborhood on the corner, This place has an ATM and seating inside with a TV to watch whatever is playing while you eat. I been back twice and I had the crispy taco bowl with steak and one with shrimp and the Birria tacos 🌮 very good

We’ve always ordered takeout from this restaurant. The service has always been pleasant. While waiting the atmosphere is clean and calm. Families have been dining in or taking out. Appear busy. We’ve been pleasantly satisfied with the food. It’s fresh, very flavorful, great portions and decent prices. Good variation for my family. Kids loved the burger, chicken and cheese quesadillas. We’ve tried the platter Carne asada with onions, shrimp quesadillas, carne asada and birria tacos. Our plates were cleaned and no leftover, that’s how good, it hurt. My picky eater was amazed on how good the food was. Definitely recommend this place if you like flavor. Will be visiting again during a busy workweek where cooking is not happening!

The food is authentic Mexican—my favorite dish is the chilaquiles. I’ve always had a great experience there overall. I personally know the staff, and I’ve been eating there for over five years without ever having an issue. As for the comments about wrong orders, it seems like some people may not know what they’re ordering, or they simply didn’t like it and chose to complain for their own convenience.

Yummy yummy yummy! This food was delicious and authentic. Finally some good Mexican food in NYC! They were cash or Zelle only. They had some seating inside, mostly bar table height with one regular 4 seat table. I had a huarache, which was perfectly fried with all the right toppings. My husband enjoyed the birria tacos, with the tortillas that had been classically marinated and pan fried. We'll be back.

Omg I went to my mother's house and she didn't have dinner prepared and I don't like to make her work when I visit Shaw went to get her Spanish food. They were closed. I found thispot and worth every pen. Oh man, best Mexican lunch in town, I always leave satisfied. Their chef is amazing. My fellow employees all agree. My friend even goes back for dinner to carry home. The staff is great. The place is tiny, three small tables, but this is my preferred lunch during the week.

This is a good place to come and grab some Mexican food. I had a chicken burrito, rice, beans, letters, white souce, guacamole, onions ... and it was really tasty. The place is small and it looked ok. I liked the food flavor and portion of food served.

It’s ok food they can pay more attention to detail not put most off the bacon egg and cheese on one side off the bread. Price reasonable.

When I first started ordering about 6 months ago, food was always great, fresh and just as ordered. Now when I order they don't follow instructions. Don't bring extra sauces they charge you for. Delivery takes over an hour sometimes and food comes cold! When I call to address an issue they get sarcastic before solving the issue. One time they forgot my drink, they asked me if I had a store near by I can go to.

The food is always good. Only reason I don't give them a 5 star is because I always ALWAYS repeatedly call and ask them for red or green salsa so I can have some heat with my food which should be a given with Mexican food, and they never EVER in ten times give it to me in my order. Starting to piss me off. Frustrating as hell eating mild Mexican food! Not as good without salsa. Almost boring.

I just realized the restaurant was here early 2019. So many business open and close on the block. Anyway, I have tried the chicken Gordita and I loved it. I have also tried tacos, which was okay and the crispy taco bowl. The taco bowl was very bland and I didn't like the yellow rice. The food is prepared fresh, so it will be a wait for the food. That's not a problem for me. But I will be only purchasing particular food from here when I'm in the mood for Mexican food.

I guess depending on who is the chef, the food tastes veryyy different. The first time I ate there, I had the burrito bowl and my bowl had more beans than anything else. The second time, they forgot to give me chips for my order of guacamole. The third time, I had another burrito bowl and my food was mostly lettuce. At this point, there’ll be no fourth time.

Dying to love a food outlet out here in this food desert but the Taqueria isn't it. Got a vegetarian burrito. The rice was over cooked and gooey. The vegetables were wilted and oily. So it felt like I could drink it. Plus for some reason the sour cream was rubbed all over it like cake frosting so it felt slimy & left my hands filthy.

When I first walked in I felt like I was in an authentic Mexican restaurant. But when the girl came to order my food, it was add if she didn't want to smile. I ordered a Birria Quesadilla as I've been wanting to try it. However she claimed to not understand what I was ordering, and quickly called the cook over. He smiled and asked if I was ordering the Quesadilla. I replied yes and told him I would like the one with the soup please. The Birria Quesadilla. He said ok and put the order in then called the young lady to compete the payment process. When my food was ready it was placed on the counter with a "miss" as the cheff walked away. When I got home and I began to eat my food there was bones all in my Quesadilla. And I mean big bones that you can see clearly when placing the meet on the tortilla before closing it, to compete the Quesadilla. The flavor was good, the texture of the meet was good. But bones on my Quesadilla? Not even the soup but the Quesadilla........ I never had this issue with no restaurant or taco truck I've eaten at. Not to sure I want to give them another try.

Younger folks with not genuine Mexican flavor. Maybe it’s worth it for the Juices and they still might get your order wrong.

The WORST!!!! On the weekends it seems like they always have bad employees to take order. During the weekday it's the BEST! I placed an order and it took 35 mins all because the woman didn't take the # correctly. Not only was the # wrong but the damn order was wrong because there were no guac and sour cream in my order. I love the young woman who takes my order and does it right! The gentlemen who got on the on the phone was rude to tell me where the driver was and he hangs up the phone on me. The driver was on the Grand Concourse for more than a min because he was supposedly waiting at the red light. I don't understand the weekend staff.

I’ve ordered about 4 times giving hope to this place , everything seems fresh but the taste is not there at all. I ordered nachos and I didn’t enjoy them at all the shrimps were weird, and I ordered steak nachos and the steak was crazy crazy salty. I’m not coming back .

I've tried this place 3x and I've been disappointed every time. Ground beef tastes weird, beans and other meats had no flavor. Nachos were sloppy and not good. I wanted to love it so badly but I just don't. Sorry

Tried to place a order over the phone and the guy told me to hurry up because he has other people trying to order he also put me on hold twice all in the span of a 2 minute call. Once I got there there was no one attentive to incoming customers and he asked what my order was I told him and he turned to his partner, laughed and said oops we just gave that to another guy. Didn’t apologize for the inconvenience just told me few minutes with no eye contact. I just said I’m good and walked out. There tacos are not even good to be acting like this, this restaurant was my last option and now will never be a option again!

Terrible customer service not only did they fail to properly close my drink for delivery twice but they sent me the completely wrong order and the guac was terrible it had too much lime, don’t get the guac the first time I got it for delivery I found a piece of plastic and it was on me for giving them a second chance but it was an overall bad experience do not come here

When I call for a delivery the person who writes down the order has a bad way of handling customer complaints about orders being poorly packaged or missing stuff like a prepotent attitude. When the food order isnt fulfilled or the food is salty he doesn’t give any apologies to the customers. It’s been many times that I have been delivered incomplete orders the food price does not reflect the food portion, I think that the food portion are too small for how much they charge. This place isn’t worth it and do not recommend it.

What is happening with this place!!! Bad service. My orders used to arrive fine before. Now they arrive poorly packaged, they don't even send me sauces. What am I supposed to do? I call to ask why they forgot and the man tells me that they will send it to me later!! I'm supposed to pay for my food. They should have more hygiene, right!! I usually see that the same person who serves and takes the money is the same person who places the orders. That's disgusting, you should come to the city to see that detail.

This place must not clean their grill properly. I ordered a butter roll and my butter roll tasted as if I ordered a Philly cheese steak. You can even taste the peppers. This is a cause for alarm if someone happens to be allergic. Thankfully I am not. Their service is okay the juices are mid level. The place is very small. Sometimes there is a language barrier and your order gets made wrong if you're not their to watch it being made
