The food was exceptional and the scenery was beautiful. From the appetizer to the dessert everything had so much flavor. Even the bottle of wine complimented every bite of food. Cannot wait to return again. We were well taken care of.

charming place is a quaint location, seclusion in the chaos of NY, excellent food, service, do need to improve take away(don’t throw it all in 1 container, what a mess), otherwise a solid 5***** inside the restaurant

This is one of the best Italian and high quality restaurants in Westchester. The staff is very aware of their ingredients and takes food allergies seriously. Nothing we have ever ordered has disappointed and is always so delicious. Their ingredients taste fresh and the food is prepared with care and not rushed. The salmon is delicious no matter the season we’ve ordered and the pasta is very high quality. Their little garden patio feels like you’re in Italy and is great in the warmer months.

Just wow. Walked in here for a casual Tuesday dinner with my mother and left unbelievably happy and satisfied. Not only were the staff kind and courteous, but they made sure to joke around and pay close attention to our needs. We came in the winter and allowed us to sit outside and lit 4 space heaters around us to keep us warm, in addition to providing blankets. We ordered the muscles and octopus for starters and were cooked perfectly. For dinner I had the cavatelli seafood dish and she had the swordfish. We will definitely be coming back!

I recently had my bridalshower and it was fantastic. My wedding planner and sister did a phenomenal job in elevating the outdoor garden to a COCO Chanel Theme. I was surrounded by so many amazing, professional and spiritual women and I feel blessed to have had it at Scalini. Scalini paid attention to detail, was flexible with out theme, had GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS and had some fun with us. Thank you again

Excellent food, wonderful wait staff and great ambiance. First time was purely accidental, left City Island ( after waiting 1.5 hours and got no food) and headed to Bronxville - searching for a new spot as we drove. I’m so glad we chose this restaurant! It was so good, we came back the next day ( Sunday) for Brunch.

The brunch was delicious, and the service was wonderful. The mixed drinks were too strong, but the brunch drinks were good. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a tasty meal.

Went here on a whim on a Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for lunch. We ended up getting a table outside in the alleyway. Great atmosphere and service was wonderful. Husband got the Nutella Short Rub while I ate the Chicken Rollitini. We enjoyed our meals. Only couple of complaints was that we had the crab cake for $19 and it was one somewhat small crab cake. I know it's seafood and it's Bronxville but I think for that price, it should be a decent size or at least put 2 of them. Also, dessert was $14 as well. I enjoy eating dessert all the time but I know that dessert already has such a high markup that I think the most you can ask is $10/$12 even. A slice of carrot cake for $14 is a bit much. I generally am okay with the restaurant prices in Bronxville but I thought the app and the dessert was just a little on the higher price range for us. Crab cake, 2 meals and a bottle of Prosecco was $150 excluding tip.

I had made dinner reservations, when i got here i guess i should have seen the writing on the wall. The hosts was not friendly at all. Once we were seated the waiter was not pleasant and caught an attitude all because i said we were not ready to order from then on you can cut the tension with a knife. Once we ordered our food everyone got theres and they brought mine out a few minutes later and to make matters worse my meat was cold and risotto was hard and not cooked ( we all believe it was intentional). I did tell our waiter but he acted as if he wouldn’t be bothered.I was really annoyed with my treatment i did not leave a tip. When i left the waiter came out to find out why i did not tip him .. i wish they were this concerned with how i felt by there treatment!!! Good news my guests enjoyed there food and from what i tasted it was not bad however i will not be returning or recommending ever !!!

This place seems well-intentioned, but missed all the marks. Food — pretty much everything we had was terrible. The gnochetti was so bland and inedible we had to send it back. The pollo tasted like it came off a conveyer belt and was honestly hard to eat. The poached peaches were very meh. The only thing that was good was the arugula salad. Nothing had any salt or really any seasoning. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but…not good. Service — everyone was very nice, but the whole thing was inconsistent. The server had a hard time speaking in detail about the dishes or wine and there was a very long stretch of time where he completely disappeared. Everyone’s disposition (host, server, buser) was lovely, but it was hard to get a sense of what was going on. Ambiance — the inside is sweet, but not special. The back courtyard is nice but was loud and rather chilly with fans going on an already-cool night. We ended up on the front porch, which was in relative terms quieter and pleasant. We’ve been fans of Underhill for years and decided to try something different. We’ll be sticking to Underhill.
