Beautiful speakeasy themed cocktail bar in the historic building of the Bronxville train station. Drinks are excellent, I have not tried the food yet but it looks delicious.

This small, exquisite speakeasy right at the Bronxville train station is exactly where you want to go when you want a perfectly crafted cocktail in yhe area. We only had one round this time, but we'll be sure to be back! The smoky Negroni, made with Mezcal instead of gin, was easy to drink and made the grown up classic even more so. Kitchen closes at 9, so if you need a snack to balance your booze, start earlier. 😉

This place is a 5 out of 5. Best bar in Westchester. So sleek, modern and cozy. You’ll love it.

Didn’t get any food, saw others get a charcuterie board and humus plate and it looked appetizing. Great cocktails with presentation and taste. Atmosphere is great, jazz music in the background and quite cozy with the art and lights. It is expensive, $17 for a drink, however if you plan to treat yourself this place is definitely worth it. On the menu looks like there are Thursday night specials. Limited seats and no reservations so keep that in mind if you are going with a large party.

Absolutely love this place. I just wish they did last call half an hour later. As an industry person I just want one or two drinks before it’s time to go home! Their staff is incredibly attentive and it’s clear the owners are always present and have a great attention to detail at their place. Thank you for being such an amazing spot that Westchester truly needed.

Solid bar for cocktails after work, after getting off the train or date night, wish they were open more than 3 days a week. Service and ambiance were on point. Snack/food menu could improve a bit.

Great bartenders. Nice ambience. Great for drinks anytime. It's tucked away in the train station... you almost have to know where the door is... kind of a speakeasy. The Spanish gin and tonic is very refreshing... .take it one step further and order it without the tonic, i.e.. a martini... has rosemary herb and juniper berries. There is a smoky drink with bourbon and the smoke is infused as they make it. I don't remember the name of the drink but they will know. The only downside is that it is very small so it'll be hit or miss if you can get a table or seat at the bar.

An amazing place for talks with loved ones over a cocktail. The atmosphere makes you feel like home, and the location gives you the feeling that you are about to miss your train, but the cocktails and talks are damn good, and you are happy to let another train go to The Grand Central.

Best spot in the Town. Love coming here for late drinks. They have a very small charcuterie menu but only till 9pm but when it come to cocktails it is the place to go in Bronxville.

On my last visit to Whistling Rail, I had some work I had to do that I did at a local restaurant in the area and I had my boyfriend with me who has never went and I really wanted to show him this amazing spot! He’s really good with being a DD so I was really hoping they can make him a great mocktail and the bartender came up and asked us for our drinks and he came up with this amazing one for him with raspberry and mint. Mine was their oat milk grasshopper cocktail which made me very happy as a vegan since there are barely any cocktails with non-dairy milk at not all vegan spots. The drinks were absolutely delicious and we were treated so well by everyone! My boyfriend and I had a great time and we were able to talk about a lot of things and I was able to finish my work!

Solid place. Nice ambiance. Pretty tight inside so you’ll either be waiting for a seat or standing. It’s worth trying out. The drinks are really well made and the small plates are all made with fresh materials.

What a beautiful space in the historic Bronxville train station. Truly a gem with a gracious hosts, servers and bartenders that make cocktails with love. I think my new favorite is the Lion's Tail, but it's hard to choose. Can't wait to go again!

This place is a staple of our thursday to sataurday nights. Either after dinner, before dinner or just to hang for a great vibe and great drinks! Service is always fantastic. The servers are attentive and our drinks are always full. The atmosphere is comfortable and classy. Just a great spot to have a couple of old school cocktails with the roar of the metro north a few feet away!

The Whistling Rail is a phenomenal cocktail bar. All of the drinks the beer, spirits and food menus are superb. The servers, bartender and owners are friendly and beyond attentive great people. All around this speakeasy cocktail bar has become our go to spot and will remain at the top of Westchesters finest.

The speakeasy itself is beautifully designed — the ambiance, the craftsmanship, and the attention to detail create an amazing atmosphere. The bartender was fantastic, offering great service and making us feel welcome. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the owner’s shockingly rude demeanor. She carried a look of rage, glaring at guests as if we were intruding on her space. It was uncomfortable and disappointing to see such hostility toward paying customers. A wonderful place deserves better leadership — a little kindness goes a long way.

The drinks here are pretty good and I've always enjoyed coming here but the service tonight was beyond rude. My date and I were enjoying cocktails and had been given the bill, but no one had ever come back to ask us to pay. All of a sudden a manager came and started yelling at us that we had been there too long and had to leave and someone was waiting for our table. The place was by no means crowded and we had no way of knowing that there was anyone waiting. It was bizarre behavior and I won't be going back. Normal managers politely explain that other people are waiting for the table and ask if you would mind ordering another drink or vacating the table, but to raise her voice like that as if we were misbehaving children was unacceptable.
