The best drinks. The best food. The best service. Brunch is incredible here! I thought bar cino was only a dinner establishment and I was nearly brought to tears by their brunch selection and drinks. I love it here. Its always our special date night spot and I can't wait to have our valentines dinner here soon!

Had a great dinner here at a sunny&warm early autumn Sunday. We had a fried seafoods(not in photos). The fried lemon slice inside is a surprise and our favorite. Very fragrant and refreshing. The mushroom pizza is amazing. It is kinda different from normal pizzas. The pizza base is super thin and crispy, not many cheese. It is super flavorful with smoky and fresh mushrooms. They also offer scissors to divid pizza, which was interesting. The roasted whole fish was a fest. It was cooked perfectly, tender inside with crispy skins. The flavor maybe bit sour for some people, (they put lot of cappers and vinegar in the dressing), but we like it. It

Overall the experience was wonderful. We ordered pizza and pasta. Both were wonderful! We will definitely come back for the amazin Pizza!

Service and food was absolutely impeccable. The wine choices were great. Absolutely recommend going here.

I went for dine out Boston so it was a $41 meal for three courses. The food was very delicious but I wish they used more of their regular menu food on the dine out menu! However, everything I got was very delicious. The Caesar salad was very lemony and the breadcrumbs was a delicious touch. The pasta also had breadcrumbs and it was so yummy. The dessert was only okay, but someone else at my table got the pistachio ricotta cake which was to die for. The atmosphere is great and the service was great too!

Highly recommend the short rib, so juicy and tender. The mushroom pizza 🍕 is also a must-try. Some other customers came to our table and asked what that was as it looks, smells and tastes so good 😊. Everything else is also tasty. Bread isn’t always provided but you can ask for it Reasonable pricing and nice atmosphere for gatherings. We booked an outdoor table but it was chilly the other day. The host was very kind to assign us an indoor one instead. Great location, accessible to public transit. Will come back again for sure.

A Hidden Gem in Brookline We went to Bar 'Cino in Brookline on Mother's Day weekend and had a great experience! Sat outdoors in perfect weather and kicked things off with their Cino Sangria, super refreshing. The tri-colored salad was light and fresh, and the crispy cauliflower had just the right amount of heat. We shared the Margherita pizza and Carnaroli risotto, both were flavorful. Ended with the tiramisu and ricotta cake, which were the perfect sweet finish. Great food, relaxed vibe, and friendly service, will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Amazing Bolognese! It was so tasty. The sauce and meat were really good and the pasta was cooked perfectly, a great chewy consistency. You get bread at the table and olive oil to dip in. We also got cauliflower as an appetizer and that was very flavorful! The cauliflower was a bit crispy on the outside. Our server was also a nice person and the food came out pretty fast.

Loved the Meet Boston menu at Bar Cino! The fried ricotta was amazing and the menu was great. The vibes inside were awesome and cute for an intimate date night. I would definitely love to come back and get the pizza!

Went to Bar’Cino for dinner last Friday night, my husband had the Fig & Prosciutto pizza, and I had the spaghetti with clams. The food was absolutely amazing, my husband and I thought we were back in Italy. Best meal we’ve had in Boston in 10 years of living here. Miguel was our incredible server, he was so friendly and told us how much he loved working for the Bar’Cino. Miguel’s hospitality was off the charts, he even gave us a sinfully delicious slice of pistachio cake on the house. Because of the amazing food and great service we received from Miguel Bar’Cino is our new favorite restaurant and we look forward to many more great meals there.

Great Italian food, amazing decor and nice little touches (especially the bottles of Sicilian olive oil on the tables!). All plates we had were super tasty and the wine list was great, would definitely recommend if you are in the Brookline area!

This place is my favorite Italian restaurant in Brookline. I have tried various dishes here, and all of them were tasty. 100% recomended.

Great bar and cool ambience. Lovely outdoor space and very friendly staff.. definitely a hidden gem. Oh, and the food is awesome! Only problem I have is I haven’t tried nearly enough of the menu! Love the cauliflower bites and the clams.

Overall great food for the price. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, the prosciutto fig bruschetta, the margarita pizza, and the prosciutto fig pizza (and the tagatelle mushroom pasta, not pictured.) The cauliflower and the prosciutto pizza were our favorites. Loved the ambience and the manager personally wished my friend a happy birthday.

This place was beautiful inside! I felt like I was in a movie. Be sure to make a reservation because it gets busy! There is parking right across the street you'll have to pay for. I ordered the risotto and it was so good! The shareables were so good too! We got the Herb Roasted Carrots and the Cauliflower. Everything was super good! Miguel was our waiter, and he was great too!

Amazing pizzas and nice ambiance. We tried the mushroom pizza and loved it. Baked oysters and margarita were a treat. Recommended for a nice dinner on a weekend.

Oh boy! Where do I begin? From the moment I walked in I knew this place was different… special… mysterious. The Sharks vs. Senators game was on. Pretty entertaining but nothing crazy. The two assists from Ridly Greig were sweet sauce. Food was good too. Now let’s talk about the women. Whooo weee mama!!! Whatever Bar’cino is doing to attract this clientele, I hope they don’t stop. Very wonderful ladies, but if I’m being completely unbiased: I feel like I could take every woman in here in a fight. On average I feel like I could beat up about 80% of women in the us IF I HAD TO. But in here, it was pathetic: I could beat up 100%. Our server was very intimidating. Not with his words, but he had a glisten in his eye that unmistakeabley said “order the Carbonara or else little guy.” Pretty nice overall tho. If we’re being completely honest: this place deserves four stars, but the fifth comes out of fear and a little dash of guilt. At 9:36pm EST, I noticed a bald man with long fingers waltz in like he owned the joint. However, he did not. I saw him slip the aesthetic extra virgin olive oil tin (see photo) into his long black trench coat. Then he left. I saw the whole thing, yet said nothing. I felt paralyzed with fear, stuck with intimidation and frozen with trepidation mixed with precipitation. I wanted to speak up and fight for what was right. Since a child, I’ve always had a fear of authorities and bald men. Don’t ask. Thus I zipped my mouth and threw away the key. I’m sorry Bar ‘Cini. I hope this extra star makes up for my cowardice. And I hope you get another tin of olive oil so one table isn’t missing it, that’d suck. Sincerely, Jimmy

Beautiful atmosphere and amazing small plates. Extremely flavorful. We loved the cauliflower and broccolini. The sauce the clams were in was dipping worthy and the draft beer ice cold. Can't wait to come back to try other things.

I personally loved the Pesto pasta and the Tiramisu! Great staff and lovely ambience. Must try!

Worth the visit. I came here for a birthday occasion with my significant other. The service was fast, and the food was flavorful, the waitress was kind and accommodating and the location was relatively easy to find. The parking can be a hassle but that's with most of Boston. I would recommend visiting. We have to go back to try the pizza. We recommend the steak platter and the pesto/mushroom pasta.

great food, nice vibes, stellar service. came on a thursday night - definitely make a reservation, as they get pretty busy. ordered the sour and the peaty in pink to start, as well as the crispy cauliflower. also ordered the mushroom pizza, which came whole with scissors. they were super on top of filling water, and when my bf dropped a fork on the ground, they immediately replaced it. i highly recommend!

Great new spot! Cozy and casual atmosphere inside. They also have an outdoor patio as well for the summer time. Pizzas were good. Waiter was especially friendly and attentative!

This is a home away from home for us. Delicious, authentic and quality fresh food in a lovely and welcoming setting- nice without pretention. In summer- the deck is perfect for outdoor dining in a great neighborhood, and in winter, it is warm and cozy inside. They have a wonderful menu of creative Italian dishes. They include lighter and healthier options, along with some richer pastas. My only request- maybe one day they can add some house-made pastas to the menu. Risotto and farro and clams are my favorite. Cocktails are excellent.

Bar 'Cino is our favorite neighborhood go-to. I have been MANY times and every single thing I've had is delicious! The staff is awesome - they are so knowledgeable, always give good suggestions. You can tell they like working with each other. They also have a new rotation of cocktails every few weeks or so - they have some old stand-bys, but I feel like I've never had the same drink twice there. And I believe they are in-house recipes! Love everything about this place and so glad it's within walking distance of my place - however, also SUPER T-accessible!

The service was excellent. Constantly made sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our meal. They had asked us a lot of questions to give us the best dining experience they could. The grilled pizza here is amazing. Probably the best pizza I've ever had in my life. It's also nice that they have an option for you to dine indoors or outdoors.

We came to Bar ’Cino to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent — the rigatoni bolognese was the best I’ve ever had. The service was outstanding, and we loved the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

S
Stephanie Cappelletti

Every dish was absolutely amazing! Even the table olive oil was so incredible, floral, light, citrusy. We shared the prosciutto burrata, shaved Brussels sprouts, and the rigatoni Bolognese. And just had to try desserts as well! Wonderful, outstanding! Cannot wait to go back.

We had a late lunch and were really treated very nicely by the staff. The food was prepared in a timely manner, not rushed. We both had chicken Milanese, which was very tasty over arugula salad. Accompanied by fresh bread. Prices were fair. Well worth visiting.

D
Diana

That was a lovely dinner! Everything was good but at the same nothing special to come back for (at least from what we tried). The confit tomato bruschetta for starter tasted very ordinary and cherry tomatoes were put on a bread in a raw and whole format; it was quite inconvenient to eat and unexpected to taste( imho would taste better if cooked). Mushroom ravioli were very good but rather small portion for that price. Lastly, I had grilled salmon and it was right on point, perfectly cooked and accompanied by veggies. Cocktails were quite average, better stick with wine!

Nice ambience; service was good and food was very presentable. I liked the leeks on a goat cheese spread, and cauliflower was ok.

W
Wassim Ayass

A good restaurant with nice service and good food overall. The food was questionably coming out so quick after you put the order including pizzas. The taste was ok but nothing very special. The grilled pizza has a very thin crust which was different and tasted good and light. The pistachio cake was really good, not so sweet and delicious. The interior space was nice and comfortable.

Nick S

Food was pretty good, new bartender seemed a little lost

C
Cami Tussie

There are better options for the price in the area. The crispy cauliflower was the best dish, absolutely delicious. Wouldn’t recommend the tuna dish or the milanesa, was dripping in oil. Risotto was good. Very nice ambiance, service was great! Probably wouldn’t return though, better options elsewhere

Been twice and enjoyed the experience food wise. Beverages are a little overpriced even for Brookline. The bar staff is friendly but lacking routine or structure. I bet in a few months this is a 5 star experience though because it's so new. The pizza is super thin and comes with scissors to cut which is a lot of fun.

Hopping Italian-inspired spot in Brookline Food: Highly recc any of the bruschetta for sharing- we got the roasted RI one with stracciatella, kale pesto, mushroom and bread crumbs which was delicious- the bread was toasted and soft, and the pesto was so fresh Also got the orecchiette pasta with chicken, broccolini pesto, provolone, and lemon herb breadcrumbs. The chicken was ok, tasted parboiled, but the pasta and vegetables were flavorful, and you can add some red pepper flakes for a satisfying kick! The mushroom tagliatelle looked good as well. Other: Fast service, friendly staff Chic Friday-Saturday night vibes similar to Barcelona Brookline/Boston Not a long wait for seating at the bar TLDR; Come here for great food and great ambiance in a fun part of Brookline!

Food was really good and reasonably priced. My date and I enjoyed our drinks (Old Fashion for me & a mocktail for her). Service was quick and efficient. Would go back... it's nothing especially fancy but it's in my sweet spot for affordability to quality ratio. $108 for 3 drinks and 2 entrees. I can't give it a 4.5 or I would.

Lively atmosphere, good pasta dishes, great short rib and sangria to die for! Great for casual dining with friends. Note: may train your waiter to converse in a more gentle manner, instead of talking like drill sergeant. Some of the ladies in our group was intimidated and was too afraid to order themselves 😅

Came here with a friend's family to celebrate her completion of a half-marathon and had a really nice time. I got the prosciutto and fig jam grilled pizza and enjoyed it, though I don't think I would get it again. Everyone else raved about the spaghetti Bolognese.

T
Trinity D

The food was kind of the definition of "fine." I did not really think "oh yum!" for any of the meal. The meatball app was the best part, with the bread it was pretty yummy. The entree "jumbo" shrimp were very small so I don't know if that was a pun or what, but they were pretty dry and overcooked. The sauce they are in *is* yummy but with bad protein to accompany, it did not do enough. The peach cake dessert was very disappointing, dry inside and looked quite unappetizing too. The atmosphere was fun and service was great but I can't go higher than 3 stars for a place I won't be returning to.

⭐⭐⭐ "OK" Bar 'Cino Brookline: A Rushed Dining Experience with Hits and Misses 🍴🎭 My partner and I were excited to celebrate a special milestone at Bar 'Cino Brookline during Restaurant Week. 💑 While the evening had its moments, the overall experience left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. 😕 Service 🙋‍♂️ The service at Bar 'Cino was the biggest letdown of the night. 😔 It felt like they were rushing us through our meal, with entrees arriving mere moments after our appetizers. 😳 The pacing was so off that we wondered if they were microwaving our food! 🤨 Part of the joy of dining out is savoring the experience, but it seemed like they just wanted to turn over our table. 😞 Things did settle down a bit after the entrees, but the initial rush left a sour taste. 😒 Decor 🎨 Bar 'Cino's decor is a bright spot, with contemporary art adorning the walls and a sleek, centrally-located bar. 🖼️🍸 The space feels modern and inviting, suitable for a variety of occasions, from family dinners to date nights. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💑 The ambiance is pleasant, but it couldn't quite make up for the rushed service. 😕 Food 🍽️ The food at Bar 'Cino was a mixed bag. 🎲 We enjoyed the braised meatballs, but the grilled sweet potato was undercooked, with a hard center. 🍠 The margherita grilled pizza boasted a super-thin crust, which was tasty but not particularly memorable. 🍕 The bavette steak, while flavorful, suffered from uneven temperature, with cooler spots in the middle. 🥩 The real standout was dessert – the zabaglione and griddled olive oil pound cake was a delightful end to the meal. 🍰😋 In Retrospect 🤔 Our visit to Bar 'Cino Brookline during Restaurant Week was a roller coaster of highs and lows. 🎢 While the food had its moments, the rushed service overshadowed the experience. 😞 The decor and ambiance were pleasant, but not enough to compensate for the pacing issues. 😕 If you're looking for a leisurely dining experience where you can savor each course, Bar 'Cino might not be the best choice. 🙅‍♂️ However, if you're in the mood for a quick bite with some hit-or-miss dishes, it could be worth a try. 🤷‍♂️ Final Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐ - "OK" Bar 'Cino Brookline: A rushed dining experience that leaves you wanting more (time to enjoy your meal). ⏰😔

This was a pick-a-spot after brunch. For starters we were offered bread which was wrapped. For our main course we had the antipasti board and the prosciutto and fig bruschetta. Both were filling if you didn't want a full serving of food. Note the bruschetta is only a serving of 2. For drinks we opted for the paper tiger which was a tequila base drink. It was a refreshing drink that wasn't too sweet. We ended with the tiramisu, which wasn't the best I had but took care of the sweet craving I had to round out the meal.

My partner and I ate at Bar 'Cino for our Valentine's Day dinner out and we left a bit disappointed. We were so excited to visit the restaurant, especially since it is new to the area, that our general experience was lackluster really made it worse. To start we had the bruschetta appetizer, which was very small for $10. You could have two bites and finish it. Likewise, our risotto and chicken entrees were smaller than we thought and lacked much flavor. The risotto was soupy and very bland and the chicken was dry and could have been made as well at home unfortunately. The gelato dessert was delicious though . Overall we were disappointed but would be willing to go back and try it out again.

J
Jessica van de Ven

The quality of ingredients was NOT worth the price. $22 for this bolognese cooked with what tasted like Kraft parmesan from the plastic container, and this $20 pizza that had also similar bad cheese, but additionally no sauce. Very overpriced food for low quality, taste was ok. Cocktails were tasty and worth it.

J
Jeffrey Dean

So if you’re out of an ingredient in a $15 cocktail (without a garnish), don’t just serve it and not tell the customer. Bolognese arancini interior needs work. Parmesan chips are a disappointment.

p
peter hardro

Drinks, pizza, service, and atmosphere were great. I unfortunately also had the Porchetta sandwich which was very dry and not made from a rolled and stuffed Porchetta. Just pick something else.
