Came the other night with family and we had the kindest, coolest, most attentive waitress. She took extra care of me being a vegetarian and wasn't bothered by my questions. I sampled Arirang's food while they were at the Smorgasburg last year. I really liked the fried rice, so I wanted to go to their restaurant, which I finally did this past Friday. I really enjoyed the Hibachi experience here, and our chef Jason was wildly entertaining and cooked up some really good food. Our waitress Arina was also very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is very clean and they have a really impressive menu. I noticed that there was a slight wait time from when I was seated until actually getting served, which is understandable since the table had to be full before the chef started cooking. They also have private dining available to those who are interested. Overall, I was very satisfied with my first time here, and I will be sure to come again in the future.

I loved my experience dining here. I loved the alcohol served and the food as well. They have great chefs who make jokes and can be pretty funny! I've been here so many times but today's experience was different. Today we had Kenny as our cook and not only was he interactive, he was helpful, and very courteous. He cared about how everyone's food was cooked and took his time. The end result was great. The food was very flavorful and my seafood and steak was cooked to perfection.

We had a holiday party here. Darien and Eddie were our servers. They were fantastic. Eric was our chef… he was quite entertaining. The food was delicious and everyone had an excellent time. All 25 of us!

Me and my wife came out to the restaurant to celebrate our son's birthday ages 20 and 9, respectively with our three younger kids. A party of 6 in total and we were not disappointed. Our server, Eddy and Chef, Jason were a perfect combination of professional and fun... We were well entertained by Jason food art and catered to by Eddy every step of the experience... Jason made sure to tell our children that they are welcomed to come back anytime Mom and Dad doesn't feel like cooking... Keep up the good work!!!

First yet most favorite hibachi experience!🌟🔥 I went here for my friends’s birthday and the experience was intense! The chef that served us he was very funny and made cute little jokes like making snowmen, hearts and popping the food in our mouths. I went here for my little brother's birthday, and it was a great experience! We made a reservation for three, and only waited about five minutes to be seated. The main floor has a big fish tank, which kids will love. There's also a downstairs area that's quieter (though I don't think they do hibachi there) and an upper level as well. Each meal comes with soup and salad. My drink was on the strong side, but I'm not much of a drinker, so that might just be me. The hibachi chef was entertaining and funny, though I wish there had been a little more fire performance. They did the classic tricks like tossing food into your mouth and making heart-shaped fried rice, which was fun. It was a nice night out and a good place to celebrate. If it wasn't such a long trip for me, I'd definitely go back.

Despite not making a reservation, we were seated fairly quickly and the waiter was very quick to bring us our drinks and appetizers. The calamari was absolutely delicious! Our Hibachi chef, Wanda, was extraordinarily talented and performed several tricks that delighted us. He made it a funny and welcoming experience for everyone and cracked a few hilarious jokes along the way. The portions were way bigger than I expected, and the sushi was also deliciously fresh! Definitely worth the price. Although the flavors of the food were not out of this world in itself, I think that the watching our own food being cooked by a masterful chef was the most enjoyable part of this unique experience. Wanda was truly an amazing chef, and we will be asking for him exclusively the next time we come back. Great atmosphere with great, helpful staff. Thank you Wanda!

Arirang is a nice change up to your average restaurant. My family and I went here this past Friday evening just to do something different. It's a good choice to do once in a while, as long as you are mainly going for the show and entertainment, the food is ok as far as Asian style food goes, you can get better tasting food from your local Asian restaurant. Arirang's food may be of good quality, but it's mostly just salty rice and veggies. The staff was nice and our Chef Tommy was great and very entertaining, he seemed to genuinely enjoy his work. I would come back again.

I had a great 4-star experience at Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse! Both the food and atmosphere were high-quality standouts, each earning a 4-star rating. The service was also solid with a 3-star rating. It is a fantastic local spot for anyone looking for a fun environment and a delicious meal!

Service: For the first time coming here I liked the show they do while cooking. Friendly staff great service. They have plenty of space while chefs cook in front of you but also they have seats in the basement where you can enjoy the meal without being disturbed.

I have been to a few of these restaurants and couldn't wait to try. When I arrived I found parking on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by a great host, Franklin. I walked into a highlighted hallway and went to the downward area where there was karaoke. I was served the shrimp dumplings, the chicken and scallop rice, and the fried Oreo. I loved all the food! I also had the vodka martini, which was good! I had a good experience!

We did have to wait a long time to finally be seated for our reservation (about 90 mins) but were told it was not like this all the time. Server Joe, Chef Robert, and staff member Evelio were all very good and made our experience fun despite the long wait time. The manager Vanessa also apologized and explained the reason for the long wait which felt very personable and genuine.

Food was great. Show is nice. Friendly service. Wait time… had a reservation for two for my son’s birthday and waited 70 mins to be seated after the reservation time. They inform you when you make the reservation it can be longer but 70 mins for two is too much. Otherwise it’s great.

​We chose Arirang in Brooklyn for a recent family get-together, hoping for a fun hibachi experience. Our last great hibachi meal was at Mama Yama a few years ago, and we were looking for a new spot. ​Arirang's room was dimly lit and very busy, which usually suggests a popular place, but things felt a bit slow. We were seated quickly, but we waited a 40-60 minutes for the chef to even begin the cooking show at our table. That's a long time when you're ready to eat! ​Once the fresh cooking started, the food was genuinely good. The fried rice, meats, vegetables, and seafood were all prepared well right in front of us and packed with flavors. ​However, the appetizers were a real bad. The salad was almost inedible because the romaine leaves were still soaked, watery they clearly hadn't been dried before being cut. But the soup was the worst. It tasted like hot water with a few slivers of mushroom, and it didn't even smell right. The dumplings and meat skewers were just okay,not terrible, but certainly not what I would call "restaurant quality." ​Overall, while the cooking performance and the freshly grilled food were delicious, the terrible appetizers and the long wait really spoiled the night for our family. I don't think we'll be making a return visit.
