I love this place. Quick and friendly service. Food is fresh and delicious. Coffee tastes crisp and clean so it's safe to assume the coffee is fresh and the coffee maker is cleaned and maintained regularly.

I had there Pastrami Melt Sandwich and it was delicious. According to the store it's a fast moving item and highly recommend it, I went for it and it was just like they said.

Friendly and professional staff even during the rush hours. Fresh salads and fresh bagels and bread products. They offer a good variety of breakfast and lunch options. And when in a hurry you can also order for pick up and they also offer delivery.

Amazing tasting bagel. Has been here for decades and that speaks volumes about the quality. This location was here when I was a child and specifically sought it out when in the old neighborhood. Love this local neighborhood bagel place. Although the bagels are just okay for Brooklyn, the service is great, and they use fresh eggs, which makes for much better breakfast sandwiches.

So my review is strictly for Freddy, his always very attentive and pays attention to what his making. I’ve gotten my orders wrong before from different workers but Freddy is the only one who gets my orders right. If my order is long and complicated I wait for Freddy, I trust him with my food 100%. You be surprised to know that a bagel as simple as it is people manage to mess up a normal plain bagel toasted with a spread of cream cheese. Please keep Freddy at the store and send someone else to do deliveries please and thank you.

Good bagels but a bit pricey for my taste.

This is the only decent place where they make good breakfast sandwiches. The prices are a bit on the higher end. I rather come here then to McDonald's and dunkin. The times I've been there, the staff have always been pleasant.

They have a variety of bagels, cream cheeses, whitefish salad, tuna salad, lunch meats, special sandwiches etc, basically a nice menu. The food is tasty and the coffee is good too. They deliver and have a breakfast menu as well. Only a few tables for sitting, so this is a mostly takeout place. My only gripe is they run out of bagels I like very quickly. Maybe they need more help. Also hard to get them to answer their phone in the morning for orders and delivery. Again they need more help. The bagels are large, somewhat chewy and soft inside. This is not a Jewish style bagel that I like the best, but they are good bagels.

Good sandwiches and clean atmosphere. Employees are fast and get your food on time. Food is fresh so I cannot complain about that at all but the only downside is the pricing. It’s not cheap to buy from here a sandwich and coffee for breakfast or lunch.

The sandwiches are always nice and fresh, HOWEVER THE STAFF IS NOT ALWAYS NICE AND FRIENDLY, IN FACT THEY CAN BE DOWNRIGHT NASTY WHILE THE OTHERS PAY NO ATTENTION.

Good luck making a phone order to them because they will ALWAYS mess something up. Everytime I order a "whole wheat everything bagel", they give me plain wheat or a regular everything bagel. Then I tell them the mistake, and they say, "You didn't say it correctly." How much more detail can I get than that?? I called another time, asking them if they knew what I meant, they said yes, and they still messed up my order. Just go to them in-person and point everything out rather than calling ahead of time, it's not worth the headache.

The price is definitely steep. I really don’t understand why it’s so OVERPRICED. Bought a bagel with butter, roll with chicken cold cut and cheese, and a small coffee. Paid $11.75. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good but the price is unreal.

I really wish customer service improved in this place. I think they are very very over priced with a very bad service in the morning. We usually buy around 6am during the week and have gotten our orders wrong 3 times already. We keep going there because that would be the only place open for coffee around us at that time but really hoped they improved with kindness and some how lowered their prices.

I've always been satisfied with service and the food was always fresh. However, today the employee got extremely annoyed with me because he had not prepared my order as requested. I should have gotten a picture of him to post. I am lucky to be employed and he should feel the same about his being employed. He turned nasty after I brought up the fact that the order was incorrect, even though I accepted it as he had already finished making it. I know several others who have stopped going to this store for the same reasons. I hope things will get better.

They have one price on Menu, but the cashier was charging me for a different price. It's a theft. I ordered tuna melt on a roll. Price is 7$. But they charged me 8,5$. Just be careful when you buy from this store.

The bagels are not soft. they charge $2.50 to use your debt card and that with more than $10 purchase plus an extra $1.50 tax. constantly changing the prices. If I go today and get fries for $5 next week all of a sudden a different price. Prices are never the same and more and more expensive every time. I get the owners have the right to change prices but the way they are constantly changed that shouldn't be ok.

Staff is very rude, especially to it's Spanish customers. I went in for at 6am and They older guy was placing new bacon on the grill. He looks at me, and goes back to doing what he was doing. I seriously don’t even know where to start. I definitely feel so disrespected and from a place that I paid for my food.I live two blocks from the spot. I ordered (a bagel, eggs, and coffee) and the food didn’t come until an hour and 45 minutes later. I called at the hour mark and the guy said he left a while ago. The delivery driver shows up, my food is beyond cold, and there’s HAIR IN IT. I am literally disgusted and feel so disrespected. NEVER AGAIN.

Called in to place order over phone, phone rings a few rings then disconnects, called again someone picks up rudely, I place an order for pickup, takes the order, but rudely tells me they are very busy and will take 20-25 min for my order to be ready. I go after that time to pick up my order. I come in and there are only 2 other customers in the store. The lady in at the register asks me for my order, I tell her I have a pick up, looks at me strangely, and asks other workers, says no one ever got a pick up order here and proceeds to help other customers, doesn’t give me any resolution to the issue. Then someone else tells me we don’t have any calls for this, and that maybe someone took it and forgot. There is a staff of like 5 people and barely any customers, or orders, don’t know how they botch a simple order like that. There are other good bagel places in Brooklyn that have lines out the door, with less employees that are more on point. Also they are overpriced, and the food is nothing special at all. First and last time eating this place.

I call and place order for pickup at least once a week. Every time I call I get an attitude and am rushed off the phone. Today my order was completely wrong after there was an encounter in the store because I wanted to add a sandwich. I call up to tell them and they then tell me that they will deliver the right food. The delivery guy comes and wouldn't give me the correct order until I gave him the wrong food back because the boss said he wants to check the camera to make sure I'm not lying. I gave him back the wrong food and let them keep the delivery with the "correct" food as well. Never again will I be ordering from here after being accused of lying.

Tried this place for the first time and never going back. The cooks were so rude, once I ordered I instantly regretted choosing this place for my lunch break. Although there aren’t many options around I definitely won’t spend my money there. The only person that was nice was the guy at the register. The chicken sandwich I ordered was okay but not good enough for me to overlook the customer service.

Overpriced for no reason, charging 2.50 for a small orange juice and an ice tea that is normally 1.50. Also charging 9 dollars for a tuna bagel is ridiculous. Don’t bother going to them, they take advantage and price gouge, better off going to the deli by the N train on 66th.

Staff always has a nasty attitude. They mess up your order and say that they didn’t. The Latino guy at the counter who’s in his 30s has tried to ask my 16 year old sister for her number twice and she no longer feels comfortable walking into the store by herself. They all speak Spanish as well and every time someone orders in Spanish they pretend not to understand while speaking to each other in Spanish. Everything is overpriced too.

Tried to order an omelette and some cold cuts on grubhub. First the grubhub customer service called saying they don’t have a specific type of cheese. I told them what substitutions would be ok. They then called 30 mins later to tell me the whole order was not in stock in their store. I just requested a cancellation. I love real close to this spot... stopped by an hour later to see if they had the items I wanted in the morning. They absolutely did.

The bagels are good but i will no longer spend money here. It's the middle of a pandemic, someone walks in without a mask & I let the staff know that they shouldn't be serving customers who are not wearing masks.... That person leaves & another person walks in without a mask.. Staff says nothing, just takes the order. Everyone else in the store is wearing a mask. Apparently the staff could care less. Unfortunately I'll have to find a new store.

How do you make or prepare undercooked but yet burnt bacon!!!! Is it hard to prepare really good bacon???? The edges were burnt and the center very well undercooked! I had to tear the edges off and microwave the bacon!!!! When I ordered I told him I was paying with credit card! They failed to take the cc number and apply it! After the guy showed up with delivery he had no device to take credit card! So I had to call back! It took the 10 min to answers the ph!!! Then told me that it didn’t go thru! Then all of a sudden I see the charge on my cc! However I’ll never go back!!

Just to alert everyone the bacon and cheese bagel are 7.50$. I wonder why this business is still up?

Please go somewhere else. I work nearby and called for a delivery, a worker picked up the phone and asked for me to hold.....which I did for 6 minutes. While I am on hold, I can hear the workers speaking in their language about a customer on the 5th floor who wanted a sandwich returned. Along with other details which I will not write about. Happened on a Tuesday around 1pm. Also be careful with prices, one day they charge one amount the next they charge more. And of course they tend to mix up the orders. Workers are careless there that is why I do not tip.

This place has decent food however the service is horrible and they make up their own prices on the spot. They messed up my order and then tried to justify it by telling me they charged me less than I should've been charged and never apologized for messing up my order. Horrible! Haven't been here since the pandemic. Went in today for a quarter pound of egg salad. Got to work and took a bite just to spit it out. Spoiled. Had a coworker double-check for me and the same thing. What a waste of $2.75. Call to let them know what had occurred. Never pickup. Guess quality suffered with the pandemic. Hope I don't get food poisoning. Should have just stuck to Starbucks but I wanted egg salad today. Yuck! It's easy to believe all the other bad reviews.

Buyer beware! This place is charging $9.50 for a chicken salad sandwich. $ 12.50 for a chicken salad sandwich with bacon. I thought this was a mistake so I called for clarification, the clerk told me that the menus online are old and the normal price is $8 for a chicken salad sandwich. I asked to speak to a manager because that is extremely overpriced and on the boundary of price gouging. The clerk hung up on me and before he did so he said “hold on.” The food is not worth the price. We will never be ordering from them again. My next step is to alert the city about this obvious price gouging. How can they take advantage of people during this pandemic?
