Opinions de Café Olympia New York
Our group came in on a Sunday night and had the best time. It was a very quiet evening, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and intimate, and the music was wonderful — truly vibey and perfectly matched the space. The food was delicious — we especially loved the tuna crudo and the burger sliders. Our server Daniel was absolutely the best part of the night. His recommendations were spot-on, and he was so personable and thoughtful. He made us feel genuinely taken care of — above and beyond customer service! We can’t wait to come back.
Great food and service. The tapas lunch was a good deal for a quick bite. We also enjoyed the red sangria. The space is small but very clean. A nice spot away from the crowds.
Had brunch at this spot. It was so cute and cozy! The food was flavorful, and the service was great. I would definitely recommend this spot.
Food was absolutely delicious. We had the lunch special which were good portions. Gio was an amazing server. Friendly, polite and a delight to be around. Will be coming back to see him.
Great food great music great atmosphere all around. Good stuff. Laura was awesome and took care of me all the through! From the sangria to the affagato!
A first-class restaurant. I loved the service, and the food was amazing. Giovanny's attention was excellent. It's worth mentioning Ruben and Kevin, the owners; they're lovely people. This is my first of many. Wow, what a beautiful place! Wow, the food was 100%. A nice place, good music, and more.
Incredible tapas and ceviche! Every dish was perfect, and even the non-Spanish dishes were superb: sliders, carrot cake, affogato, and chocolate cake. Our servers Juan and Daniel were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small and intimate given its location in the back of the Concorde Hotel lobby. Highly recommend :)
Really cool spot to take pictures, our waitress Laura was great her coworker Gio was also very lively. The music was chill and upbeat. The food was delicious but tiny bit pricey for the amount, but then again I was aware it was a tapas bar and the portions are supposed to be small. We got complementary wine glasses because we stayed at the hotel. Overall great experience will do it again.
Quaint, small, low key away from tourist, is this hidden tapas spot. Great food, good service, quiet. Which is rare for a Tapas spot in NYC. Overall great for conversation with friends. The Ceasar salad, guacamole, shrimp, patatas, all great. Worth the walk to 55th.
A surprisingly good spot for a place inside the hotel. Staffs were friendly and ambiance is great being indoor but with outdoor vibe. The place offers interesting cocktail that is made from fermented liquor (less % alcohol than typical liquor) using similar process to making wine. A good spot for a drink and light night.
Place was exactly what we were hoping for! Gio our waiter was so nice and welcoming and food was 10/10!
What a wonderful surprise to find this gem inside our cool boutique hotel! The atmosphere and the food were both excellent! We had both lunch and breakfast because the quality was so great! Our server Juan went above and beyond for my daughter who is in a wheelchair. Highly recommend!
The food is phenomenal! We tried the lunch special with the tortilla espanolas, ceviche tropical, sweet & sour chicken, and meatballs. All the flavors were delicious, and the portion size was shareable with my husband and I; we were both full too. Gio was our server, he was attentive and friendly and made our experience better. I'd recommend this spot to anyone, prices are fair for the quality of the food and ambiance. Note: there is indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor seating is covered and heated! Very pretty for pictures
We needed a breakfast place close before our packed day and this was perfect. It was in a hotel, but practically priced. We didn't catch the name of the server, but we were led to a back area (on a cold day but heated) that was cool and had a great vibe. Really cool area. Counter service for ordering, but the rest of the visit was served surprisingly to us. They might have served booze at the hour we were there (and probably did given their name), but we didn't ask, and just had coffee and Naked juice as we had a full day. Wife had the burrata toast and loved it. I had the salmon truffle toast and liked it, but I forgot to order the addition of the egg. I probably would have LOVED it. Actually, I probably still was on the border of love without the egg. Still a 5. My bad, and you should try THAT. Great, central place before you hit some Midtown sites, and you have a great experience, but are in and out in about 30 minutes or so (unless you booze of course). Definitely recommend and see you there (next time we are in NYC).
Great tapas spot with really good food and an even better atmosphere. Everything we tried was delicious, but my favorite dish was definitely the chicken, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. OMG, so delicious!!!!! The service was excellent and truly made the experience stand out. Dario was incredibly patient and kind, especially when he took the time to take our pictures. Daniel was also fantastic providing recommendations on the favorites, which did not disappoint. Overall, GREAT food, GREAT service. I will be back again!!!!!
We had a corporate dinner here and what a hidden gem! In a city that can sometimes feel a bit too fast-paced, we found this wonderful spot — great atmosphere, perfect music volume that allowed us to talk, and absolutely delicious food. We ordered many many tapas with great options for everyones tastes, and everything was just spectacular. A huge thank you to Laura and Jordan, who made us feel completely at home. We were a group of over 15 people, and not for a single moment did we feel unattended — they truly have a gift for what they do. Their passion and care made the experience unforgettable. Thank you for such an amazing time!
10/10 would recommend! The food was incredible fresh and delicious. Luckily our waitress Laura spoke Spanish which along with her kind and funny attitude, made the service and whole experience unforgettable. Gracias Laura!! Will definitely return next time I’m back in NYC
I got the Yemenite soup and laffa. Delicious and the laffa was fresh and perfect. Great food and experience.
Had the best restaurant experience ever at Olympia Steakhouse! The food was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the lamb shawarma, it was incredibly flavorful, as was the fresh pita. Beyond the food, the customer service was amazing and the vibes were great for dining in. Definitely a 5-star experience all around!"
A really delicious and luxurious place, they give you everything in large quantities and at a good price! We've been looking for a place to eat for a week and this is the best place
Beautiful and clean place, delicious food. Highly recommend
Every time I’m in Brooklyn, we make sure to stop by. The best food!
We came here for our first time me and my wife. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. Five star even though we came late. They still saved the reservation for us. Unbelievable customer service once again.
The service here was absolutely amazing the atmosphere was so beautiful and the food on top of it all was the best everything about this restaurant is the kind of restaurant everyone loves

Food was so delicious and fresh, the salads were perfectly seasoned and tasted great. They were a great thing to eat while waiting for my food. The service was amazing I got my food 5 minutes after I ordered. The waiter was super nice and funny. Overall a great experience at Olympia Steakhouse.

My third time coming in olympia pita . I love this israeli vibe , so pleasant to sit there and just have a good time. We ordered The chef's salad , and you get unlimited salatim and laffa ,that are so delicious The mix grill is so good, you get skewers and shawarma. I REALLY recommend this place, because of The food and The really nice service ! (And so generous) 5⭐️
Excellent place, a cozy and relax vibe even though being near the busy areas of the city. menu and food was awesome, wings and sliders are great, however it will be good if they add more options. The service was great with a lot of attention and support from Dario. Definitely deserve another visit next we travel NY City.
I visited for dinner and drinks and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The space feels stylish and cozy, with a modern, Instagram-friendly vibe. It’s connected to a hotel, which gives it a slightly hidden feel but also makes it calm compared to louder Midtown spots. Cocktails were creative and well-made, and the tapas are meant for sharing; portions are small but flavorful. Prices are a bit on the higher side for tapas, but the quality and presentation make it a nice spot for a date night or catching up with friends.
We came on the recommendation of a friend and we were very pleased. Ambience is casual, clean, no frills and plenty of seating. Watching the worker make the breads from scratch as you come in is a nice touch. Staff was very friendly and courteous and took the time to explain all the different dishes. The freshly-made laffa was a really nice treat - especially in an era when restaurants cut back on the "fresh bread basket" starter that was common only a short while ago. For starters we ordered the Appetizer Combo which included Falafel, Moroccan cigars, Chicken (egg)roll & Kibbeh. All were 10/10, although the falafel could have used a bit more of the cilantro and other seasoning you would expect in a falafel . Although this is a Middle-Eastern joint, and we should have gone for their specialty dishes (shawarma, kebobs, etc.) we went with burgers, schnitzel, and all the sides. The burgers hit the spot, although we would have wanted thicker patties. And the schnitzel was the best we have ever had: thin, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; fried to perfection. 10/10! We will definitely be going back to try the Middle-Eastern dishes.
Bonsaii is an overt attempt at capturing a specific demographic, seeking the instagram photo-op and little else. With a back wall stereotypically covered in fabricated ivy and pink neon sign that reads as some AI generated inspirational quote, Bonsaii is as non-discreet in its attempts as the IG counter prominently displayed on its bar shelf. For a wine bar the selections were modest and average, as too were the tapas. While extensive, they were mediocre at best. Instead of trying to attract crowds, they should focus on an identity. This place is lacking character and trying to make up for it with appearances.
The prices are very high! Very much! I will attach photos and prices! You are overlooked. Okay, it would be acceptable to taste, but no. It is impossible to chew meat at all! In order now. Burger worth 16 !!!!! Dollars! A slice of pita and 5 small pieces of meat. Everything. No sauce, no cheese. It's just bread and just a little meat! McDonald's puts more in Big Mac. And the taste is much better. Further buffalo wings (12pc) is indicated on the website. You get five pieces for $ 12. That's horrible. Well, absolutely empty shawarma. The meat is overcooked. Bread is simply impossible to chew. And I am silent about the bones in the meat. Disgusting food for a lot of money. -10 stars!
