I did a self guided NYC pizza tour. This was my top of 12 places I tried for my favorite thin pepperoni slice. What a great slice. Crust is absolutely perfect and sauce/cheese are flavorful and fresh. Pepperoni slices were tasty and large. Friendly service. Inexpensive beer. Went back again to have a final slice before leaving town. YUM!!

I’ve been following Frank on YouTube for a long time, so getting to Best Pizza was one of my priorities while in NYC. It absolutely lived up to the name. The dough was perfect. The sauce and the cheese tasted so fresh. The staff was great to everyone who came in. One of the highlights of my 8 days in the city.

certainly incredible pizza ! kind and helpful staff. i do think i should have checked the rack more carefully as i must have ordered the last grandma slice, check photo to note it was 2/5 (3/7?) crust. additionally a countertop ATM which id never seen before

When you imagine what a classic NYC pizza joint looks like, this is the image that comes to mind. It's a friendly neighbourhood spot that just does the classics absolutely perfectly. No fancy tricks to hide behind, just good high quality pizza. The cheese slice is as iconic as you can get and the white slice with a sesame crust and caramelised onions is amazing.

Great pizza stop! Went here for a mid day pick me up with the boys during a bachelor party and we were able to accommodate 9 people in the corner booth to enjoy two large pies. We ordered both the cheese and one with pepperoni and sausage. Both were incredible. The dough was a bit dry though, and the crust was the thinnest I’ve ever seen. Both of which are not my favorite. I’d give this pizza a 8.7. Overall a great place though and would highly recommend.

Great nostalgic vibe of a pizzeria. Have been twice now, one for just a cheese slice, then recently got two pies (the size is large which is great). I feel like a 3/5 may be harsh and a 4 too generous, I would rank more of a 3.5. Struggle to see the hype around this pizza. It doesn’t taste like a classic Brooklyn cheese slice - the sauce seems too sweet/tangy, and the cheese isn’t very gooey and cheesy. The meat slices had very little meat on them (covered the 1/3 of the tip of a slice). The dough is nice, and the crust is tasty. The service was great and the place is nice and clean, but it’s not my preferred type of pizza.

Loved the casual neighborhood vibes here. On a Saturday night, not too crowded, seats available, pretty cozy I’d say. Onto the pizza….not sold on it being the “best” pizza, but a very good slice; great char, flavor and not floppy. Didnt have to put any seasoning or extra cheese…I think the cheese pizza is in line with Joe’s pizza, but better! Would come back or go to the other locations.

Staff was friendly and the pizza came out fast. The crust had a really good taste and the cheese on the pie was solid. Everything had good flavor. My kids really liked it a lot. We would stop by again.

Definitely good Pizza, I like the vibe of the inside and prices are solid. The smell of dough brings and great aroma to the room. We got 2 regular slices and although both were good they were a little overcooked and under sauced, which led it to taste more like a well done cheesy Bread than a pizza. Their fresh pies seem like the better move based off looks but and their other slices all look good enough to warrant a revisit in the future.

Stopped in for a couple of quick slices, on my way to Opening Day for NY Mets. Friday April 4, 2025. I was staying in Williamsburg for a few days. I enjoyed a pair of classic NY slices and they were very good.

I used to LOVE Best Pizza - especially the grandma slice. I would always come out of the way just for this slice since the sauce was phenomenal. But, after coming here again today i was left extremely DISAPPOINTED and DISRESPECTED. How do you call this pizza when there is NO SAUCE. It's literally just dough. There's no way they thought serving this to a customer was acceptable. If I'm paying $5.50 for a slice of pizza it should not be skimped out on sauce!!!

Was it worth the price? Not in my opinion. The flour used was perfect, but there wasn't enough cheese or sauce for my liking. I might give it another shot with a sandwich or maybe their grandma pie. If you prefer a thinner pizza with less sauce and cheese, this could be perfect for you. However, I'm a fan of saucy and cheesy pizzas. I plan to try their sandwiches next time; this meal was a disappointment for me. Even though I really wanted to enjoy this pizza, I didn't like it at all. I spent $45.94 on this, and unfortunately, it felt like a waste. At least I got to try it, but it felt more like flatbread with pepperoni. This is not the Best Pizza not at all….
