Tbh the gluten free muffin was divine. I thought I had the best gf banana bread recipe but this put me in my place. I would have never known it was buckwheat/gluten free. So moist and fluffy and the perfect sweetness. There’s a short wait if you’re getting a burrito but there was no line or wait for a baked good. Their prices are steep-ish but fair given their popularity. The muffin after tax was $6.50. Honestly so many gluten free options it was great.
First place I ate in New York. The burrito is worth the wait for sure. We also got a chocolate chip cookie which was delicious; the chocolate was very rich. There were renovations being done on the sit-down side, so it ended up being more of a grab n go. Which would have been fine, except that it was February and -14°. Worth the trek through the cold for the delicious breakfast burrito. Cannot wait to come back and get another burrito and try more baked goods. 9.2
I can’t speak highly enough about this place. A great and consistent breakfast burrito, not to mention the pastries are incredible. I had been wanting their special outrageously large cinnamon roll for a while now and well it did not disappoint!
I had the best cookie in my life!!! Their white chocolate raspberry cookie is the best!!! I love cookies and I try any cookies if I see them. And the guy at the register recommended me this white chocolate raspberry cookie and it was so amazing. It was crunchy outside and juicy inside with the dehydrated raspberry & white chocolate inside. I’ll def come back here.
Ceremonia bakeshop is an amazing brunch spot with sweet and savory options🤤 which are absolutely delicious. Everything i bought was amazing we went around 11:55 am it was relatively busy, when we ordered we waited around 30 minutes which isn't awful. We ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito, ube black sesame mochi, and a smores bar, + a free churro mochi. The burrito is filled with flavor especially with the green sauce, the mochi was crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, the smores bar is just like a elevated smores. Everything 10/10 we will be returning for more😋🤤
Amazing and worth the hype!! No line when I arrived 30 minutes after opening on a Wednesday. Got the chorizo breakfast burrito with avocado, definitely split it with another person, it's super filling and delicious. Very fresh ingredients. I also got the s'mores brownie, perfect texture and sweetness and the Ube sesame mochi. Very friendly staff, you can tell they have a lot of regular customers which is lovely to see. I'll definitely come back and try more pastries!
Great local, family-run spot with deep ties to the neighborhood. They’ve built a hardworking team who are always friendly and genuinely welcoming. The breakfast burrito lives up to the hype, but their coffee (best Americano in the neighborhood) and baked goods (start with the cinnamon roll) deserve just as much attention. Everything is fresh and made with high-quality ingredients. There can be a line on weekends, but that’s just part of supporting a small business doing things right. They’re absolutely worth the wait.
Small family owned business who work so hard and do their absolute best everyday! Literally everyone there is so welcoming. They have an amaziong burrito (recommend getting the "Wilbert" burrito which adds avacodo & bacon 🔥) and the pastries are phenomenal. Wait time varys for the burrito but well worth it. Its made with TLC
For a while we’ve been trying to chase this hype and get the breakfast burrito. We did have to wait in a line and then wait again for the food be ready but that’s the price you pay for hype. We think it was worth it though they have a great Matcha & Mocha latte and the famous breakfast burrito lived up to the hype. It’s no small burrito and if you’re just feeling peckish you could make two meals of it.
Finally got around to trying the viral breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint!! I got to the Ceremonia around 7:50am and was eager to be able to find street parking rather easy ( an nyc win if you ask me). I ordered a breakfast burrito, chocolate chip cookie & an iced latte! The burrito was perfection- and the portion was amazing, definitely a bang for your buck. I only managed to eat half and saved the rest for later. The cookie and the latte were a great sweet treat after ! Besides the food, the staff was extremely friendly & helpful. It was a very welcoming environment ! Overall 10/10 experience ! Will definitely be coming again
one of my favorite bakeries in brooklyn! the staff is always so kind and friendly, the service is superb and the quality of the pastries and baked goods is top tier! they have one of the best breakfast burritos, chocolate chip cookies, banana chocolate chip crumble loaves, and savory chive and cheese biscuits ❤️
Eat here immediately and get here early! Staff were super sweet. All the sweets we tried were A+ but our favorite was the cinnamon roll (bonus that we got it fresh from the oven!) with the banana buckwheat muffin as a very close 2nd. Chorizo burrito was top notch - all of this well worth the trip from upper Manhattan. We’ll be back to try the rest!!!
I ordered the churizo burrito as I saw many review that talked about this one. I added avocado as well. The burrito comes with a big portion that makes you full for sure. It comes with many ingredients that combines full nutrition and it will be better if you have it with the sauce as well. The salt chocolate cookie is amazing. Come with the thin slice but properly enough to complete your craving. Staffs are all nice and work very hard since it is always crowded with the people and ordered. Thank you!
TLDR: chorizo breakfast burrito: 8.5/10 Avocado: 7/10 Cinnamon roll: 6/10 Ube Sesame Mochi: 10/10 Full story: First off, no place to sit inside so be prepared to take away. I LOVE BURRITOS. Now, this one, while being very good sits at around an 8.5/10 for me. It might be one of the better ones in Manhattan, but that’s a low bar honestly as we don’t have the breakfast burrito culture of, say, California. And don’t come for the avocado one. If the chorizo one is an 8.5, the avocado one is a 7. Chorizo or get a salad somewhere. Now, pastries. I had the cinnamon roll and the ube sesame mochi. Again, while good, I’ve had insane better cinnamon rolls (think Tall Poppy & Petit Chou). So, should you get it, if you’re already here and are craving a solid/average cinnamon roll, yes. If you are looking for the best cinnamon roll in the city, continue your search. The grand finale. The ube sesame mochi delivers a WOW moment. I was inclined to try it after I asked the cashier what his favorite pastry was. Best recommendation! Highly highly recommend that one.
The burrrito was nice, we replaced the chorizo with avocado (the sauce is the best part of it) raspberry cookies were good as well
I've been dying to come here for over a year! Cute spot that def takes care to make their burritos fresh to order. It wasn't busy when I stopped by and I made sure to get a bunch of items so I could get a good idea of the quality. The burrito was huge, and good, but ultimately nothing that special - definitely needed the sauce on the side. The cinnamon bun was so so painfully sweet that it was almost inedible, which is wild since it doesn't look like there's that much icing on it? The tomato tart was really good and the black sesame ube mochi thing was delightfully chewy and not too sweet. It's a nice neighborhood spot but not really serving anything that's worth a long wait (15 mins+).
We had breakfast burritos and chocolate chip cookies, both of which were fantastic. However, the service was just okay. I think there was a problem with our burrito order because it took them 25 minutes to bring it out, while many people who came and ordered after us got their food before. Additionally, the seating area wasn’t very pleasant, especially with the doors open, which made it quite cold inside.
Came here on a Sunday morning slightly before the opening time. I was a bit worried there’d still be a massive line, but the hype seems to have cooled off since last year. Got in within five minutes, though the burrito still took about 15–20 minutes to come out. I was originally planning to try their iconic cinnamon roll, but it was unfortunately not available until 10 a.m. Instead, I got the churro butter mochi, and it seemed like everyone ahead of me did too. Texture-wise, it reminded me of traditional Korean sticky rice donuts. Chewy, dense, and coated in cinnamon sugar. Nice small bite, but not particularly exciting. The breakfast chorizo burrito was probably the priciest breakfast burrito I’ve ever had ($18+ with avocado), but I’m not sure it earns its “best in NYC” rep. They pack in a fair amount of chorizo, yet it somehow lacked that deep, savory umami. No sauce inside either, just a side of salsa verde, which the burrito absolutely needed. Without it, it was too plain.
