Opinions de E sushi II Brooklyn
This spot is me and my partner go to. Near home only 10 mins drive. We always come here whenever we craving sushi. Definitely try to go early during weekend dinner. It can get really packed. Price is reasonable and their rolls also good too! I’ve been to many ayce sushi spot and definitely can vouch this place is worth. The sashimi is fresh and rolls were also great too. We don’t usually get their appetizers only miso soup, edamame and seaweed salad. We tend to get their rolls and the sashimi. Server is nice and quick. If you pay cash you can get 5% off. So take advantage off that.
My girlfriend and I frequently visit this restaurant and indulge in their delicious food. Everything is always fresh, and their cooking style is unparalleled.
Price is reasonable for all you can eat and it being in NYC. Staff is always attentive but never hovering too close. Food comes out fast and all of the different food options are delicious. Never had a complaint and would recommend this place to all my friends and family.
This restaurant my top go-to AYCE sushi place. The quality is very decent, they don't try to fill you up with too much rice in the sushi, and you're free to order all sashimi if you'd like! My AYCE favorites are akami tuna and yellowtail, and this place has delicious yellowtail that they score in a hash pattern. They also serve a good range of appetizers and beverages (soda, Thai iced tea, boba?, etc.) and the staff have always been respectful whether I'm with one other person or a big group. I hope this place stays in business for a very long time! 🙏
Went to E Sushi II for dinner and it totally hit the spot. The all-you-can-eat sushi was fresh and beautifully presented—exactly like what’s pictured. Tried a few specialty rolls like the Spider Roll and Pink Lady, both so, so good. Great service, cozy vibe, and definitely worth the trip. I’ll be coming back soon!
Came here with our family for a late lunch. The food was a little slow to come out, but it was prepared fresh upon ordering so I really can't complain about that. You use paper sheets to place your orders, and they get the hot food out first which is nice. Loved how fresh everything was. The restaurant was clean, played music at the perfect volume for background ambiance, and the staff was good about keeping the table clear. The food for the price was totally worth it.
Essentially like any other all-you-can-eat sushi spots in Brooklyn but what they differ on compared to others is that they also provide sashimi in their menu. For those who don't want to stuff themselves full of rice, this is the place to be. Sushi is pretty fresh every time I went, one of my go to spots now.
Great no frills AYCE sushi option in Brooklyn. Rolls were fresh and service was fast. There is a discount if you pay cash. Minus a star because the boat the sushi comes on did not appear to be super clean.
A decent AYCE place, we loved the variety of options as well as sashimi. The service was great and everything was clean. My only issues were that the white tuna was very much frozen and had that fridge taste/texture. My eel roll also had so many bones I was struggling to remove and you could feel it stabbing you in your throat. Otherwise, everything was very pleasant.
Price is fair both for regular menus and for All-You-Can-Eat. Great values drinks. Amazing taste bubble tea. Great value. Great services overall. Great food overall. Food quality: Freshness if you order sushi and tempura/fries dishes. Wait time medium, not fast or slow. Ice cream are great. However, their fried rice and noodles are quite oily. Services: Great customer services even with the female owner (thanks for responding to my feedback). All server are greats! I went here several times already. First time it wasn’t a great impression because I didn’t know what to expect. Second time not so great and it is my fault I was there too late and the staff informed me and the female owner have somewhat attitude. Third time great it was lunchtime or right when they open. And fourth time dinner about closing but I make sure I have enough time to order this time. Looking forward coming back and being their long term customers.
2 hours unlimited sushi. Food is good for unlimited. Oh I walk out of there so full and probably won’t do that again. It’s worth the experience thou. They serve up our first order in a boat. I was like wow. The quality can improve a little but for unlimited. Something got to cut. Book ahead. This place is hard to park and gets busy.
(All you can eat) Food: The miso soup is so ADDICTING personally one of the best I had, the fried food was ight it lacked taste a bit and kind soaked in oil but still pretty good. The sushi is pretty good, the raw fish had a nice fresh taste. Unfortunately if you like nigiri they only give you one piece so it’s a bit of hassle to order more. Sometimes if you order too much they do leave out some of the items you ordered but that just seems like a smart move to avoid waste plus you can always just order it again. The ice cream was also good! 5/5 The restaurant itself was nice in decor and atmosphere felt trendy and quite relaxing but it’s a little small so when it does get full it can feel a bit cramped, they do get an influx of costumers, so when I was seated after another costumer was done they did forget to clean 3.5/5 The service… it’s mid tbh…sure they do their job and yes that’s what they was hired to do but they are a little cold and standoffish but they do their job so I can’t really complain. But if you want to spend your evening or lunch with some peace and quiet you’ll love them! 3/5 Overall I do recommend this place if you live in the area or in Flatbush good price for an all you can eat spot!
I’ve been to many affordable sushi spots around Brooklyn and this one is by far the best. Their tuna is always delicious and fresh. I’m not fan of their special rolls I come here often with family and friends. Sometimes we do all you can eat and other times we don’t. It’s fun to do all you can eat because portions are smaller so you get the chance to try a little bit of everything for a low price. The atmosphere is pretty casual. Staff is attentive. It does get crowded during the evening and staff seem rude during busy times which is understandable
I’ve been to this all-you-can-eat sushi spot quite a few times. The food is good—consistent quality, and I’ve never had any issues with getting sick. The service is attentive and friendly. My main concern is the water refills—they rest the pitcher on the rim of the cup, touching the straw, which is unsanitary. This happens at every table and can easily contaminate drinks, especially if someone is sick. If they can adjust that, it would make the experience better. Overall, it’s a good spot for sushi.
When my boyfriend and I arrived we were greeted by an employee and told where to sit, we were asked if we wanted to order the all you can eat or the regular menu and of course we went with the all you can eat. She explained how it worked, how we order and that there would be a fee for wasting food. We didn’t want to order more than we could eat so we checked off just a few things to get started. When the food arrived the portions were TINY I’m talking one small bowl of fried rice to share, and they only brought one of the shrimp and salmon tempura for us to share. As if the small portions weren’t enough, we were also missing some items that we had checked off, we figured since we could order more rounds it wasn’t a problem so we were brought the paper once more and ordered a few more things. Now for the third round time my boyfriend had to ask for the paper and was offered the check instead he said that he would like to order again and this was the last time we ordered. After this we were basically kicked out they offered us dessert which was included and brought the check. I attached pictures of everything we ate.
Came in on a Sunday at 12:45 with our party of 6 to celebrate my Mom's birthday. We had tried the original location of E Sushi years ago (which I believe is now closed) and we liked it, so we had high hopes for this newer location. We tried a good variety of the menu items from the AYCE menu including the cooked/fried foods, regular rolls, specialty rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. Cooked foods were your basic bland/oily tasting dishes that tasted pre-frozen. The only thing I liked was the seaweed salad and spicy kani salad because I like to mix the two together. The regular roll we had (salmon skin roll) was probably the best. The specialty rolls all tasted similar since most of them are doused in sauce, but the spider roll (soft shell crab) wasn't bad. The nigiri and the sashimi was probably the worst of the bunch. There was SO much rice in the nigiri and I think this is how they get you to pay extra for unfinished food (which we ended up having to pay $5, which wasn't bad but still). They bring the food out in rounds. So they brought out all the cooked foods and apps first (which is fine and expected). But next they brought out the rolls (which are already bigger than your average regular/specialty rolls maybe by 50%). Then comes the nigiri and sashimi last. The amount of rice in one piece of nigiri is definitely enough for two pieces. The fish itself doesn't taste like anything. It's not like it went bad, it just doesn't taste like anything, which also applies to the sashimi, even though the sashimi is a thicker cut. We ordered 20 pieces of white tuna sashimi but half of them had a different color/texture. When we asked the waitress what type of fish it was, she told us it was yellowtail. We then told her we didn't order any yellowtail so she went to go check with the chef. She came back shortly and claimed that is was in fact white tuna. If it truly was, we were afraid to try it after that since it was clearly not the same fish. Probably one of the worst AYCE experiences I've had. We all left stuffed afterwards, but not in a good way.
My experience at this sushi restaurant was extremely disappointing. The waiting time was excessively long, often exceeding my expectations, and the service was consistently unfriendly and inattentive. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Don't go.everyone!
