Opinions de Inaka Japanese Fusion Brooklyn
I’ve been ordering from Inaka for many years, and they’ve always been consistently delicious. The quality never disappoints. Their lunch specials are very affordable, and Anna is incredibly friendly, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!
My family and I come here all the time. The staff is so kind, it’s always the perfect amount of busy in there where we’ve never had to wait for seating but it’s not awkward. The food is great without being expensive. A perfect week day sushi spot.
This sushi restaurant is really great! Especially the special roll “buy two get one free” event from Monday to Thursday, it’s super cost-effective! My friends and I ordered a few special rolls. Each one was very fresh and delicious. I especially recommend the black angel roll. It was the first time I had a roll wrapped in black rice. It felt great.
The best sushi restaurant in Brooklyn! If you are looking for fresh sushi and hibachi Japanese food, inaka sushi restaurant is a must visit. Their sushi rolls have a wide variety, especially the special rolls, which are addictive. The restaurant environment is clean and comfortable, perfect for family dinners or friends gatherings. As a sushi lover, I think the price/performance ratio here is excellent, and they often have member discounts, such as free sushi rolls and miso soup. Brooklyn sushi is a must! Highly recommended!
Never disappoints. This is actually my go-to spot for sushi. The portions are very generous and prices are good. Their tartare (salmon or tuna or mixed - I've had them all) is one of the best I've ever had. If you don't know what to order, go with the Sunset Roll (it's on their special menu). You can thank me by giving me a thumbs up.
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered two bento boxes. I chose the sushi and sashimi combination. It includes five pieces of sushi. The other bento box was salmon teriyaki and a godzilla special roll. Both boxes were very good and included an eight piece California roll, white rice, edamame and choice of soup or salad. The edamame was different from other bento boxes that usually include tempura or shumai. I also ordered the shumai soup that includes four shumai.
Greetings, fellow foodies!! :) This was my first time dining at INAKA SUSHI & I enjoyed my experience there. Firstly, I wanted to mention that the neighborhood the restaurant is in is quite lovely, typical trendy Bay Ridge community. Thankfully, it has a bodega that stays open late for any post-dinner needs. The food: Appetizer: 4/5 Crispy Duck salad (with avocado, cucumber, radish (dikon), & lettuce with a slightly sweet sauce). Main Entrée: 4.5/5 I ordered the Inaka Sushi & Sashimi for 2: It comes with a spicy tuna roll (add cucumber for extra $, so that the roll has texture and balance), 18 pieces of nigiri (salmon, tuna, octopus, mackerel, red snapper, yellow tail, etc), & 2 “Chef’s Choice” rolls: Dragon Roll & Mango Roll. I also had Thai Iced tea & water to drink. They gave us a complimentary Fried Oreo dessert. Service: 4.5/5 The server was friendly & attentive. He checked on us frequently throughout the meal time. Bathroom: 3/5 Typical bathroom, unisex. Parking: street (luckily parking was only a block away, but be very mindful of street signs & hydrants). I am a sushi FANATIC, and Inaka was a nice place & I would consider dining there again if I were in that area. I came later on in the evening on a Friday, & I loved the trendy music they played and all of the Asian artwork. My overall experience was 4.3/5 Enjoy your meals!!!!
Great little sushi shop in the neighborhood. The highlight is an extensive sake menu with helpful descriptions. The sushi is on par with other restaurants in the neighborhood both in flavor and price. They seem to be busy with delivery orders. I had the sushi platter which came with miso soup (or salad), eight pieces of sushi and a Godzilla roll (spicy tuna, avocado, and crispy bits). Dessert was a large helping of deep fried green tea ice cream. I'll be coming back.
Came here for lunch on a weekend. The place was mostly empty. The food was subpar. The shrimp peanut miso and chicken katsu appetizers were dry and slightly overcooked. The shrimp was not fresh. Our sushi platter mains were just as unimpressive. Honestly best part of the meal was my iced lychee green tea.
I can’t speak to the atmosphere because we ordered. I know when you order food you can expect transit to have some effect on it but this place was terrible. The fish did not seem fresh, it wasn’t enjoyable. The age tofu was the best thing we had and the spicy girl roll was just ok. Quality of fish needs to be reviewed
We placed an order at this restaurant through the DoorDash app, but the restaurant called me and canceled the order two hours later. There was no cancellation notification in the app, and I had problems getting a refund.
Completely unacceptable experience from start to finish. The restaurant was already significantly late with my order, and when I exercised my right through Uber Eats to request a refund due to the delay, they chose to cancel the order instead of taking accountability. They wasted my time by being late, wasted more of it by canceling the order, and then showed zero professionalism when confronted about it. If you cannot honor the delivery time frames you agree to on Uber Eats, you should not be on the platform at all. This isn’t the first time. This restaurant has repeatedly demonstrated that they do not respect customers or their time, I waited an hour and 30 minutes for the food ultimately to have not gotten it. I will not be ordering from here again and staff alone is enough for me to encourage others not to eat here
Horrible restaurant , took them 45 minutes to give me a bowl of udon noodles . Meanwhile there was only 3 tables at the time. The noodles were disgusting and waiter was rude when I asked to change plate . Horrible service and food is so so. There are better places to eat in Bayridge ..
I would give less than 1 star if possible on the category that matters most, the food. This afternoon, I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box with salad for take out. When I opened the bag at home, i realized I was given a soup instead. I was willing to overlook that. However worst of all, I took one bite of the chicken and it was chewy and rotten. The meat smelled. the whole meal went in the garbage. What a waste! there are too many good restaurants all around to waste your money and health in this one.
I have to leave a bad review in the middle of night due to food poisoning. Stomach pain 1 hour after I ate my order. I have diarrhea 5 hours later. It is fully cooked meal from their kitchen menu. Seriously? I didn’t order any raw fish. No doubt the owner of the restaurant needs to take care of the business ASAP. From the best of my heart, we wish all mom and pop restaurants survive, (I saw kids were playing in the store), I wish the owner of this sushi place act more responsibly to their ingredient and hygiene. I hope that my honest bad rating will be a good start for this place.
