Opinions de Knapp Street Pizza Brooklyn
My family and I came from Queens to try this place, after seeing it on social media today and we were not disappointed. The chicken Parm sandwich in the oversized garlic knot was delicious, we tried the reg and the vodka. We had a large pie, half sausage and pepperoni. All the food was great and the service was also. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by how nice the 2 guys (younger guy behind the register and the other with distinctive eyebrows) were towards us. My family all expressed positive feelings and comfort being there. Thanks for a good experience, see you again soon.
Their pizza flavor is similar to the one on an and l on 18 61st very. Similar flavours could be the same owner but the pizza was good went there again today it was good
My wife and I just had a fantastic Valentines day dinner here. We got a hot honey pizza, spinach roll (wife said it's the best she's ever had) and the stuffed garlic knots. Everything was delicious. The best part of the meal, though, was our waiter Joe. Joe is about the most stereotypical Brooklyn man you could ever imagine. Super friendly, great recommendations on food, and just a real pleasure to have around. If you're visiting NY and want some real authentic NY pizza, or you just want to taste the best pizza in Brooklyn, give Knapp Street a try. Ask for Joe!
Ah, the famous Brooklyn classic! I've only ever ordered from there in the past, but I was going to do a hike at nearby Marine Park so I decided to stop by in person, and was delighted to find that the actual restaurant has a lovely dining area too! When so many great pizza places in this city have barely more than a counter, (and maybe a folding chair if you're lucky!) having a very classic family style sitting area is refreshing to see, especially for those of us with big families! Absolutely unbeatable garlic knots and the best chicken bacon ranch pizza in the city, but still has all the NY Italian classics like grandma-style slices here too. Will definitely be coming back in person next time I'm in the area!
Solid and delicious across the board. The chicken sandwich with penne vodka sauce is rich, comforting, and hits every craving—creamy sauce, well-cooked pasta, and perfectly seasoned chicken. Reliable, satisfying, and exactly what you want when you’re in the mood for real comfort food. 🍕🍝
There's a lot of good things to say about this place. I'll start with the atmosphere. They have this nice outdoor set up which is great during the warm weather, and if not, there is plenty of space inside in the back. The service is great, there is always a lot of people behind the counter. Their food is also pretty good. So far ive had the regular pie, margarita, grandma, MVP, Chicken Parm Pie, Chicken Cesar, and their Shrimp Parm with Pasta dish. All delicious.
Whoever said that garlic bread sandwiches were small is crazy lol these compare to the size of turkey sandwiches on a roll at the deli. This has got to be the best chicken Parm I've ever had! I ordered from Ubereats and I love kinda far but everything came at just the right time and was still warm. The garlic knots were soft and delicious and the potato croquettes were devineeeeeeee. I paid $26 for everything and will def order again!
I'm ashamed to admit this but like many others, I only found out about this place through social media. They seem to be very famous for their garlic knot sandwiches so unsurprisingly, I jumped on the bandwagon and got the vodka chicken parm garlic knot sandwich. Pricey at $15 but man was it good. The quantity of chicken is not as large as seen in social media videos but it was a tasty sandwich and that vodka sauce on the side was just 😘. It's strange though because while I enjoyed their garlic knot sandwich, I found their bare garlic knots to be rather bland and almost dry although the marinara on the side helped with that. Their rolls are good too, at least the sausage roll I had was good. And even though the garlic knot sandwiches are pricey, the prices of everything else really wasn't too bad for NYC standards. If you're gonna go there, definitely get the garlic knot sandwiches and consider the rolls and pizza. Skip the bare garlic knots and thank me later.
The best meal of the year, not just the best pizzeria. The best meal. Flavor 10/10 price was fair considering how filling the sandwich was. The old man got slices as there was a 25 min wait for the sandwich(real wait was 28min so spot on) he gives the splices 8/10. I got the chipotle chicken garlic knot and it was more than what I had hoped for. It had also bumped into a basil/hot honey slice and had a bite with that flavoring. Came with a side of the vodka sauce and as someone who doesn’t like vodka sauce my next sandwich would be the vodka sandwich. They do something different, highly recommend tell everybody this is the place. I would just recommend ordering ahead.
I had lunch with my younger son at Knapp Street Pizza today. We had the Chicken Parmesan Vodka Knot and Chicken Pesto Garlic Knot Sandwiches. Both were delightful to our taste buds and far exceeded any Italian sandwiches we had before. Service was also exceptional, from Diaa, who took our order, and the gentleman, who sped up our sandwiches, eliminating an expected 20-minute wait. We will be back.
I used to have a friend who worked here many moons ago and back then the pizza was good.I was in the neighborhood and decided to see how the pizza is now. I must say it was amazing very very good pizza has that old school NY slice taste that many places don’t have these days. So if your in the neighborhood and want a blast from the past try this place out it won’t disappoint
Solid neighborhood pizza spot! Knapp Street Pizza has great thin-crust NY-style pies — cheese is stretchy and flavorful, sauce has nice tang, crust is crisp and foldable. Tried the vodka slice and garlic knots — both hit the spot with fresh toppings and good char. Service is friendly and quick, atmosphere casual and welcoming (nice outdoor seating too). A bit pricier than some spots, but consistent quality makes it worth it. 4.5 stars — reliable go-to in Sheepshead Bay!
Overall I rate this spot 8.5/10. Those garlic knot sandwiches are good. Lasagna and baked ravioli with chicken parm, very good, I'm particular about the sauce, but I really like the sauce. A touch salty, but not over the top. They meatball parm was a bit skimpy, but the bread made up for that, very good. Pizza game pretty impressive, I was particularly impressed with the calamari pie.
Recommend: cut the Salt, Suggest, Order for pick up and wait for the pie than place an early order, box sat above other take out orders making the pie like it was reheated and cold, that was what happens when you come in on time . left overs reheated was better the day I bought it, will it hurt my take on it, but will cost the star. Updat eht Better pie we like is hte Grandma's less salt, Here you may see the slices behind hte counter to the take out left on top as they are a super busy place, one of hte best around
People are friendly and the restaurant was clean and nice. There was plenty of room to sit with tables. Parking was a challenge. We came here while visiting NYC as our son wanted to try it after seeing a video on Instagram of the chicken parm vodka sauce garlic knot hot honey sandwich. He loved it. I thought it was ok. It didn't have enough flavor for me. But I'm glad he enjoyed it. My niece had the BBQ chicken pizza and said it was the best she's ever had. The mozzarella sticks were good, and the garlic knots were average. People were friendly. Parking is hard to find.
Got a grandma pie for $28. I don’t understand why the menu is no longer available and the prices are just word of the mouth (whatever they tell you) Staff is VERY busy as they get a lot of hours all in once at a certain hour and then it starts to cool down. It is VERY expensive. Menu items are not priced. A very good outdoor seating area.
Today I ordered two stuffed Philly Cheesesteak Garlic Knots to go, and when the staff offered to "double" the meat for a few extra dollars, I agreed, expecting a doubled portion of meat. What I received was laughable. When I opened the knots at work, I could hardly find any meat inside. If this was indeed a "double" portion, I dread to think what the single serving looks like. I called the restaurant to confirm whether my order had been processed correctly, I was told I had indeed paid for a double. When I pointed out the lack of meat, I was met with a dismissive, "I'm sure you got the double." First and last time there.
What a joke! Ever heard of customer service? Could you believe that I ordered a honey 🍯 vodka square pie, garlic knots, calamari [eating in] with my family [5 total].... could you believe I had to wait 50 mins because they had a "BIG ORDER 20 PIES" like dude! that's a delivery! And I'm dining in. Have you ever heard of staggering the orders 🤔? Why must I wait that long? And if that's the case, why not make it clear so I have the option whether I felt like waiting or not. I'm blown away by the fact that after waiting soooo long and finally speaking up the server was extremely rude as if I wasn't a paying customer. 😒 I wanna make this very clear, when I patronize an establishment I expect a quality level of service and you've failed at simply providing something so basic. The way you talked to me, belittled me and brushed me off as if I was less than/homeless or looking for freebies. My money is no different than the next. Please learn to do better and respect paying customers especially in times like this. Every dollar counts!!!! I will spend my money where I'm valued. And if you only respect a certain type of people please make it clear otherwise fix this and fix it fast
I’m very disappointed with Knapp Street pizza place. The food used to have decent food. Not anymore! My family was craving chicken rolls and pizza so I decided to order from Knapp Street pizza. I couldn’t believe how dry and old chicken rolls were. Chicken inside the rolls was so dry and chewy, it was inedible. Pizza had barely any cheese. This food is expensive and everything tasted terrible. I’m not going back to Knapp Pizza and I don’t recommend this place. By the way as I’m writing this review I’m having a stomach pain after eating this food. The quality of their food definitely has gone downhill. I’m posting photos of pizza and chicken rolls. Absolutely horrible experience. Everyone was very disappointed.
