I live in Staten Island and gladly travel all the way to Brooklyn just to eat here. That alone should tell you how good Olives & Pita is. The food is consistently amazing: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell quality actually matters here. The spicy feta dip is ELITE!! Louie is the heart of this place. He’s incredibly kind, welcoming, and makes you feel like more than just a customer. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it’s a big reason I keep coming back. If you’re anywhere in NYC and debating whether this spot is “worth the trip” ~ it absolutely is.🇬🇷💙

We randomly found this restaurant and were so glad we did. The food was excellent, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the chef even came out to check on us. They treated us to an espresso on the house, which was such a nice touch. We had a great time and really enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend!

Had a farewell get together at Olives & Pita, which was recommended by a friend. The indoor dining area is not very large, but there is an outdoor patio for warmer days. Our party had the loukaniko Greek sausage, grilled octopus, and chicken soup for appetizers. For the main, we ordered the Meat Combo, Shrimp Souvlaki with lemon potatoes (up charge), and the gyro side platter with fries. I must admit that the gyro and octopus were stupendous, rivaling the flavors of Santorini. First time we’ tried the Loukaniko and it was seasoned just perfectly. The lemon potatoes were delightful. The shrimp was over grilled and burnt after we had a few pieces. When we complained about this, the server brought out two new skewers for us. This was very much appreciated. The server was very helpful and checked on us occasionally to see if we needed anything. We also noted that the prices, at the time of this post, were quite reasonable compared to many other restaurants. Will surely be back in the future.

The tzatziki sauce is to die for! I had the grilled octopus as an appetizer, they were generous with the portion. I also had the falafel pita sandwich. The food was very tasty and the service was 10/10. Upon leaving, I mentioned to my server that the tzatziki sauce was phenomenal and he gave me a side of some in addition to some pita bread. So so kind!

I had an amazing dining experience at Olives & Pita in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. From start to finish, everything was perfect. We started with the pita dip platter and the grilled octopus, which was cooked to perfection—tender on the inside with a beautiful char. For my entree, I had the chicken souvlaki, which was so flavorful and juicy, served with the most delicious fresh-cut fries. The Greek salad was a highlight of the meal; the tomatoes tasted like they were just picked. Which they were, the owner Lou told us they came fresh out of his garden! The service was excellent and very attentive, and the restaurant's atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. It's clear that the team at Olives & Pita takes great pride in their food and their space. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable & delicious meal.

Olives & Pita, hands down my go to Greek restaurant in Bay Ridge from now on. Food was delicious and fresh! We sat in the backyard space, which was very nice and welcoming. Service was quick and attentive. My husband and I will definitely be back!!!
