Loved the burger! Super juicy and tasty. Great experience overall ))
The best shaverma in Brooklyn! The staff is really friendly, the service is fast, and everything tastes amazing.
It’s been two days since I arrived in New York, and I’ve settled in Brighton. Despite the general untidiness of the city, I found a clean, well-maintained, and pleasant environment here. The staff who assisted us were excellent — especially Irina, who provided outstanding service. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Irina, and I truly believe she deserves a promotion for being such a great employee. P.S. ALBO❤️💛💛💛❤️❤️🩷🩷🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Very clean and cozy place! Nice service and delicious food. Gloves are super convenient. Highly recommend!
Delicious shaverma, price is reasonable, especially based on the quality: big, tasty, good meat, and juicy
Ordered pressed burger and truffle fries. Amazing quality, fresh ingredients, the box for the fries is quite exclusive, they don't get soggy inside it. The truffle is actually real, I was surprised. Will be ordering more items in the future. I've also tried their shawarma, chicken, mix and beef. Unbelievable!!! Thanks guys!
Come to this place if you want the best service that will put smile on your face for the whole day and amazing food that will make your tummy happy! PS: If you want the best service ask for Lena to serve you🤫
Great place. Just tried it out today. Fresh tasty food, very clean space inside for the food cooking. Very nice touch with the branding everywhere: from an interior design to packaging. Not sure who the owner is and whats his background, but the interior design is a piece of art for this area ( for Brighton unbelievable). Hopefully the place will keep it up and still coexist with the neighborhood. Not sure whats the complaints about the service and attitude. People should understand where they come, there the place is located etc. Great job of the owner👍
Came in to get a wrap chicken Gyro was very flavorful. Will come back again.
Delicious food, good service Best shawarma
I really liked your cuisine, the restaurant is very clean with a pleasant atmosphere, the staff is very friendly, I especially liked the girl at the cash register Lena, she is friendly and pleasant, she does her job well, I recommend everyone to visit this establishment at least once.🫠
Try to eat Caesar salad + chicken, fruit tea + cheesecake. The best one for sure. We are coming it for that few times a week ❤️ And also they do have the best and nicest manager i ever so 😌
Since I'm working out, I chose the salad that suited me. It tasted exactly like I was looking for. The kitchen is open, and you can see your meal being prepared. In this respect, I think the service is excellent. The Ministry of Health also gave this establishment an A, meaning that it complies with hygiene regulations and provides top-notch service. Thank you for everything. I'll be back.
The menu centered around meat offerings of unparalleled quality. Each dish showcased the restaurant's commitment to sourcing from ethical and sustainable suppliers. The flavors were robust, and the tenderness of the meat was a testament to the quality standards maintained. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a cozy setting for a delightful meal. The rustic yet modern decor added a charming touch to the dining experience. However, the seating arrangements were a bit cramped, affecting the overall comfort during peak hours. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering insightful recommendations about the various meat options available. Their passion for ethical sourcing was evident in their descriptions and eagerness to ensure a memorable dining experience. Pricing reflected the quality of the ingredients used, and while slightly on the higher side, it was justifiable given the exceptional quality and ethical sourcing practiced by the restaurant.
lovely atmosphere, come here whenever I can, staff is absolutely amazing especially Lena. Food is delicious. I recommend everyone to come here. Will definitely come back for multiple years to come.
Good shawarma. Outdoor seating, cozy vibe. Enticing menu including deserts and seasonal drinks, too. Near beach, under subway on main thoroughfare. Calming aura and atmosphere.
Grabbed a coffee and a croissant in the morning — both were super tasty! What I really love is how friendly the cashier is. She’s always nice and helps out if you can’t decide. I always walk out of this place with a good mood!
The girl at the register Lena recommended their new drink strawberry matcha latte, I was hesitant at first because I’m not a big fan of matcha by itself but the combination with strawberry was amazing! Definitely will come back for this drink and for such friendly talk with barista. I will try a couple of their dishes and update my review later😊
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give 6 stars, I absolutely would! This place is amazing — hands down the best burger I’ve had in New York. I’ve tried their falafel before, which was great, but now I keep coming back just for the burger. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly. What really stands out to me is the professionalism of the chefs and the thoughtfulness behind the entire concept of the restaurant. Everything feels carefully planned and high-quality. Yesterday, I ordered a truffle burger with fries to go — and the packaging completely blew me away. The fries were packed perfectly, and they even use insulated bags for takeout! It’s not only visually appealing but also super practical: easy to carry, keeps the food warm, and makes unboxing a real pleasure. The truffle burger was out of this world. I did wonder why there were no veggies or salad inside — maybe I just forgot to add them. But in any case, everything was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely keep coming back and bringing more friends with me. I’ve already told everyone I know that this place has the best burgers ever! Next time I’ll do pictures.
I went in early this morning for breakfast, the nice girl at the checkout recommended the truffle omelette. It was excellent, she also recommended their signature coffee with raspberry powder - guys, it was excellent. I will definitely come back here more than once. The girl who served me (if I’m not mistaken) was called Tama, she was incredibly kind and sweet to me. For which I thank her very much.
I absolutely loved my experience and at meet wise meat! The food was fresh and flavorful! Service is amazing and very fast♥️ will definitely come back here again with my friends
In my 3 days in NY this past trip, I ate here twice. Well, I did pick up. But if my friend didn’t live so close I would have loved to dine in because the place is very cozy. The staff were super nice and the shawarma was delicious. And giant. One is enough for two meals or two people to share.
Today was going to get four stars because my usual truffle burger, which I ordered feels like a Russian roulette(sometimes it has fried onions inside but sometimes doesn’t🧐) But the smile with which the cashier Lena greets guests, changed my mind. You guys truly have the best service on Brighton Beach that I have seen so far, which can fix the impression of some inconveniences, but please pay attention to the inconsistencies.
Meat Wise Meet is a fantastic addition to the Brighton Beach neighborhood! The menu boasts a diverse selection that caters to a range of preferences, and each dish I sampled was not only appealing but tasted exceptionally delicious. The restaurant's aesthetic design and cleanliness is a visual treat, exuding a warm and inviting ambiance. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that patrons feel well-cared for throughout their visit. I had the lamb leg, it’s definitely a standout dish, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Their signature Mors drink was also a delightful discovery. Meat Wise Meet has quickly become a favorite spot in Brighton Beach, offering a delightful fusion of flavors, a visually pleasing atmosphere, and impeccable service. It's a testament to Wise Groups commitment to providing a top-notch dining experience. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try.
The chicken shawarma was soooo good!! I really liked the wrap (it has sesame seed on it), never tried a shawarma like this before! Very delicious. The place is small, but clean and the girl at the front desk is very nice and patient. Only thing, too bad you can’t pick what it comes with inside
The atmosphere is very pleasant, the place looks stylish, the staff speaks two languages. The food is always delicious and fresh. You can watch how your order is being prepared. 11/10
The food was amazing I ordered a cheese burger and the flavor made me almost cry the staff is very nice and sweet the aesthetic was cool and had nice design on the inside. Me personally I would come back and order again.
Your burgers 🍔 are the most succulent and delicious 👌 to be honest, I believe they are best in NYC Spasibo! Thank you! Gracias!
The best shawarma I’ve ever had — and I’ve tried a huge number of places. What makes this place special is that they make their own sauces for the shawarma, unlike many other spots that just use plain mayonnaise and ketchup. The real taste of authentic shawarma is in the sauce, and these guys do it at a very high level! Thank you very much!
A Must-Try! This place absolutely blew me away! The burger was hands-down the best I've had in the state. It was incredibly juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The shawarma was equally amazing, with generous portions and a delicious blend of spices. Yes the shawarma is different from traditional shawarma you get in. Pedestrian places, this is Gourmet, art form! What really sets this place apart is the care and attention they put into their food. It's clear that they take pride in what they serve. Plus, the ordering process is super convenient, whether you prefer to use the screen or interact with the friendly staff. If you're in the area, this place is a must-try! I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu. They do have desserts coffee and cappuccino 😊
I appreciate the welcoming gesture of one of the store associates, Gulya. She was very nice, professional and I felt like this is the best person who took the order from me. She explained me on how to carry the coffee in a bag to avoid spilling. I wish she would become store manager. She defiantly has the best customer service experience.
I absolutely love coming to this place on my days off. The moment you walk in, it feels warm and cozy — like being at home. The atmosphere is so welcoming and calm, truly comforting. Gulya is incredibly kind and special. Her warmth and positive energy are magnetic — you instantly forget about all your worries. You just want to talk to her, listen to her, and stay a little longer. And of course, the delicious coffee and amazing food make this place unforgettable. A spot you always want to come back to 🤍
Warm and welcoming place with food that never disappoints! The cheddar cheese omelette is phenomenal, and the overall quality of the food is excellent. What really sets this restaurant apart is the management. They truly listen to customer feedback and show an exceptional commitment to making sure every customer is happy. I feel genuinely valued and look forward to continuing to be a regular customer here for a long time. If you're looking for a spot with great food and management that actually looks out for their customers, this is it. Highly recommend! (Quick suggestion to management: Please consider adding the mashed potatoes from the Chicken Schnitzel dish to the “sides” menu as a standalone option — I’d love to be able to order it on its own.)
I want to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service! ❤️A special thanks to the manager young lady at the front desk who took my order – she was very polite, attentive, and friendly.🙏🏻🥰I would also like to highlight the whole team – they work together seamlessly and professionally, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious – everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care.😍 I will definitely come back again and recommend this place to others! 🌟❤️😍
We love Meet Wise Meat — we often come here for breakfast or lunch. The food is always delicious, fresh, and high quality. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and there are no available seats, but that’s pretty rare. Ordering through the self-service kiosk is super convenient and saves time. The staff is friendly, and the food is served quickly. The place is clean, cozy, and has a pleasant atmosphere. A great spot for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with family. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved my experience at Meet Wise Meat! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. But the real star of the show? That burger — wow. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with a unique black bun that made it unforgettable. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
This bustling restaurant in Meet Wise Meat Brighton Beach Ave. Brooklyn boasts a sleek, modern kitchen with a prominent wood-fired oven, perfect for artisanal doners. The open layout lets you watch chefs at work, adding to the lively vibe. With a sanitary grade of A, cleanliness is top-notch. Fresh ingredients and a variety of drinks in coolers make it a solid spot for a quick, quality meal. Decorative plants add a cozy touch.
This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with exceptional quality and a spotless environment. The service is fast and friendly, making it the perfect spot for a quick and satisfying lunch. If you’re in the Brighton Beach area, this place is a must-visit! I can easily see this concept thriving in other parts of the city. To the owner: let’s talk expansion—New York needs more of this goodness!
Place has a "pretentious" feel. I would probably consider taking American client for a short/casual business lunch there. Would I be going there on a regular basis? - NO. With all the effort put into place design, great presentation, and service, it feels like owners decided to save some money on food ingredients. It's like getting bud light Beer in the Michelin restaurant - a silver plate or a crystal glass doesn't make it better beer.
The king Shwarma and shwarma burger was really good! Also their coffees are so interesting. Not the most comfortable place to sit and dine in BUT the food is definitely going to be better when dining in.
Great burger! I’ve seen business is definitely going well with them. Best food in Brighton Beach location
Service was nice and welcomed. I ordered different types of Shawarma. The prices are not the lowest one in the area but the portions are generous. The taste is good better than average. Place is clean with little tables if you want to eat in. Well packaged to go bag. Will come back when I’m in the area. Parking on Brighton is always depends on your luck)
Shaverma is not juicy enough, they forgot to add sauce. Overpriced .
Came here to try new place. I ordered falafel pita and it’s came just with few tomatoes and some white sauce with garlic ( it’s not labne ) so have to ask about picked cabbage and onions , so it taste much better. I highly recommend to give this option what you want to add to your pita from salad bar, that’s what I experienced before in other places . My partner order chicken kebab plus pita and salad - was good. Then we decided to try mix shawarma- it’s taste not good. They put soooo much mayo sause and mixes together, so I don’t really like it , and it supposed to be more salad/veggies in it, because i couldn’t eat how much mayo was in it It’s very clean spot( reminds me Kiev style) but soooo tiny and I really hate plastic greens all over the place. Friendly stuff and I like that they have open kitchen so you can see how they make it .
This place looks nice on the outside . It is somewhat expensive, but the quality makes up for it somewhat . Another reviewer says this place is like a prison , it is true . It is way too small , only one person can comfortably move at a time in and out . The girls working here are pretty, but not good looking ; which I guess is a plus . The sauces here are the better than the meat, which lacks flavor and is dry . Overall its an okay spot , you pay for pretty food , with a pretty environment that is very crowded , with pretty girl staff who prepare the food with the okay looking males . Overall, this place is okay compared to what else exists locally . It is a nice touch they add a plastic like cloth bag. I would only come here to dine in ; but I do not think the seating would fit anymore that is more than overweight comfortably or biologically large bones and height . If this place was 20% bigger for customers to sit and move around ; it would be a lot better for the consumer . They had outside seats once , in a crowded sidewalk ; but I believe they removed it . Nothing bad or good here except the orange yellow sauce which is actually the best tasting sauce . All their sauces seem to be made by them except the ketchup and sour cream . They need to improve on the the quality of meat and the quantity of it . Rice was also somewhat bland . Its an okay place , cant be mad or glad .
The only question about the size of portion for the price, in general shawarma was good, but almost $20 for the king size which is looks like regular small and feels like 100gram of chicken? In my opinion it’s too much especially that right after I tried next place (Georgian place) and there is for the less price half of shawarma were like full here 🤣
Have ordered sides that were good in the past, but today waited 20 minutes for a bland, greasy shwarma that cost me $20. The layout of this restaurant is a nightmare, with just one long narrow open space that all traffic routes through.
I order a 23$ burger combo. They never ask how I like my meat done, the fries were awesome. The service was horrible. The cashier has no clue what she was doing, plus they didn't have .15cent change she gave me all Pennies . I could have went to MC D's and been a happy camper with half the price. SMH.
This is whatever but not a Shawarma! Bread is too thin and fried in butter. It fell apart after the first bite. You have to use utensils and I felt embarrassed eating shawarma with utensils. Meat is tasty and filling is delicious and juicy! Serving is terrible. It wrapped in paper and you eventually start eating wrapping paper because it fell apart, because it’s juicy and bread is thin. 16 bucks for this? It’s a scam! Right around the corner is awesome 🇬🇪 Shawarma! Place is not that fancy but Shawarma way better and priced reasonably. Music is very good. 👍🏼
I hate giving a negative review since I fully understand how critical positive reviews are for business owners. However this one is warranted and hope adjustments will be made following my observations: The good: - Place looks great, very clean and the staff is friendly! Very pleasant and welcoming experience. The bad - I ordered my meal through the self order station. I wanted a kebab platter (mind you, this is a kebab place, similar palaces are almost on every block in NYC and the menus/dishes are all similar) so I selected lamb kebab for $11.99. I thought it was too good of a price, even for a small platter. I paid and went over to the cashier and asked what comes with it. Cashier lady politely let me know that that's only the meat. Basically everything is a la carte (that was NOT indicated in the automated self order station) So, I asked to get some rice, salad and red cabbage on the side. That came up to an additional ~$10. As you can see in the picture, for ~$20 I got very little meat, very little salad, very little rice and cabbage. This was the smallest portion I ever got in any kebab place by far and paid the price that other places charge for a large portion. To the owner: please add descriptions in the self order station for the customer of what exactly is being ordered. If I would not have asked, I would have just got few tiny pieces of kebab for $11. I think with so much competition for same dishes, the portions should be bigger to at least complete with other places, such as the one that is up the block. I would come back to try the wrap, and would be curious if its the same case of paying for every topping separately. Hope not, that would be ridiculous.
I've been eating at this place since it opened, the food was awesome even being overpriced. The service quality is the best, even the bag design is thoughtful. But recently I noticed the taste became worse all of a sudden. First I ordered pelmeni (dumplings) which is a simple dish and supposed to be delicious, I ordered buy 1 get 1 free and both went to garbage, I was shocked. They refunded me money right away which I appreciate and today for those money I ordered shawarwa...half of which also goes to garbage. I don't need any refund, I'll just stop ordering here, sad but it is what it is.
⭐️ ⭐️ The staff here are really nice — honestly some of the friendliest people I’ve met in a restaurant. You can tell they’re working really hard and doing their best to keep up, and I really appreciated their good energy. I even had some nice conversations with them while waiting. That being said, I did notice the service was very slow. I waited about 45-55 minutes just for my order to start, and overall it ended up being over an hour. The young lady working was juggling so much at once — taking orders, running food, and even making drinks. It looked like way too much for one person to handle, and I felt bad because she really was trying her best. As for the food, it wasn’t exactly my taste, but I know everyone has different preferences, so I’ll leave that part up to others to judge. Overall, I’m not upset — I just wanted to share my honest feedback. From what I saw, this place could really shine if they had more help for the staff. The employees are wonderful, but they definitely need more support.
Terrible service, the manager (stood at the checkout for 10 minutes just talking when he could have given me my takeout order)
BEWARE - DIARREA WARNING Tried their shawarma...Dry, huge chunks of meet, it was hard chew that, and not tosted.. maybe warmed, but not toasted. It's the third time I been at Meet Wise Meet, and I'm not wanna meet it again for sure. It was the last time ever. 2 previous times, I didn't like the shawarma much, but this time, it was terrible. Whoever cooks it has no love in his hurt... BAD PLACE. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Review update - hour past consuming DIARREA came in. Congratulations...
Food was really bad. We waited for it for a long time and received a side 20 minutes before the main dish ??? Atmosphere was super toxic. It didn’t look like a good working environment at all. Restrooms were dirty
15 minutes waiting of the bottle of beer and 40+ minutes waiting for salad.. In the fast food restaurant. No thanks.
Horrible Place!! DON'T EAT THERE ! Was there Saturday at 9:15pm. Since there was no meat cooking on the spit I asked if its still fresh. The person behind the counter said yes. Ordered 2 beef king shawarmas. He took out a bowl of meat from somewhere added the sauce and onions then put it inside the thin bread. Its looked like the meat was laying around for hours, and not fresh. I could not taste the beef because of all the salt they are using , and it was drenched in the nasty sweet sauce. After I got home I had stomach issue which lasted for a day. Also its overpriced. Paid $40 for two people with no drinks. I did complain to waitress. She said to order a different one next time. If this was a normal place like other places you would offer a refund or a credit to make it right again. I will make sure I spread this around on Instagram and Local FB groups.
I never waited longer for shawarma in my life. No one is working. Didn’t get the correct order. Ok. Even after all that. The meat is so dry and over cooked.
terrible place. I ordered something completely different, they gave me something completely different. and unfortunately I noticed this at home. When I called them they just said sorry, we can’t help. It's a terribly small place, there's not even room to walk through. In addition, I was very surprised when I saw a $5 tip on the check. which I didn't give. I don't understand how this happened.
The cashier doesn’t know what she’s doing. I ordered a king shawarma and made sure to specify “king shawarma #1” at least 5 times. Proceeds to give me a king shawarma #4. Won’t be back.
I made an order today at 10 am, money were charged, I was waiting and waiting and waiting. by 12:30 pm the courier arrived to the spot, they asked home why he arrived so early and as per his words they wanted to cancel my order… It’s 1:20 pm, almost 3.5 hours to get delivery? “Great job” guys and Uber Eats . Worst experience ever.
I’m seriously disappointed. I ordered burgers and fries, expecting a decent meal, but the burgers were uncooked, and the fries were half-filled. To make things worse, I scheduled my order for 7:30 PM to match everyone’s schedule, but it arrived 1.5 hours early, leaving all the food cold and stale by the time we planned to eat. Completely ruined the experience and definitely not worth the money i spent.
We stopped by to have lunch . Portions are small($18 dollars for this tiny salad?!!!) falafel in pita was tasteless . And cherry on top was my lentil soup ! We were waiting for that soup for 20 min!!!! And when I got up to ask where is my order? They just forgot about it … we won’t be back
The place looks nice but very small. Everything is cooked in front of you and that's a nice option. Got a falafel wrap here. It was very dry, consisting of salad on the very bottom of the pitta and bunch of falafels on top which made the whole thing dry to consume. You can't say that about their shawarma because it is drenched in sauce. Here's an update! Got a burger to go, specifically asking a well done patty. One patty is cooked well the other is raw... Ridiculous!!! Don't come here. There are bunch of other options around. Tried to give them another chance.
If you like shawarma with just a hint of meat this is the place for you. I guess thats why owner named it “wise meat” , because meat in shawarma definitely knows how to hide. In my shawarma there was so little meat that I had to search for it. Good thing is that there was enough lavash for two servings. It felt more like a salad rolled up in layers of flatbread than an actual shawarma. I shouldnt forget to mention about dripping sauce, which literally tastes like salty water. When it comes to an atmosphere, you feel like eating in the jail, but the only difference is that jail has even more space and quieter.
