Opinions de Mussels Brick Oven Pizza Brooklyn
This restaurant is a revelation to me It is extremely tasty and very good service In my opinion, it's the perfect place for a date, a celebration, and just to come in for a good meal❤️
Always wanted to try this place and when I finally did. I ordered the classic mussels, fried calamari, fish and chips and the waiter recommended the seafood salad. That seafood salad alone was AMAZING everything was great but the seafood salad that’s a winner winner. Going back tonight Again. Lol.
Since mussels is its first name, that’s all I’ve ever eaten here, and you won’t be disappointed. I know there’s more to the menu, but the mussels are so good! Great neighborhood joint.
Excellent shrimp tacos, flavors blended well. The wife had angel hair pasta seafood with white wine sauce also very good. Nice wait staff
There are two things in the restaurants name now and that's mussels and pizza. Both of them are fantastic. This restaurant has great portions, flavors, and prices! Seriously, come down for the mussels and brick oven pizza!
Excellent seafood and really attentive service. Portions are good even when ordering a Swordfish steak as I have which was grilled exactly to my liking. Best time to go is a Sunday afternoon and it's well worth it.
Mussels were delicious and customer service was great. They kept refilling our free bread basket to soak up the delicious sauce from the mussels. I especially enjoyed The Maine from the mussels dish menu.
This restaurant is great. It's clean staff is friendly professional and knowledgeable. The food is fantastic. Get a pot of mussels and you'll be in heaven
Favorite place to come for sea food!! Waitresses are nice girls and food is served fast. I like how they can pull up the walls like windows -- definitely makes for a nice place to sit in the summer almost like an outdoor cafe
I craved mussels and this place satisfied that and then some. Nice soft bread, crispy fries, perfect cocktails. I had the classic style but will be coming back to try each variation
Amazing staff!!!! Service was phenomenal!! Food is great, overall a fantastic meal. Looking forward to my next visit.
Great place; great food! Went there tonight with my hubby; his favorite restaurant. I had the Angel hair pasta seafood; delicious! Great staff!
We were driving around Bay Ridge looking for a Restaurant. Then we saw Mussles & More and decided to check it out. And what a choice it was! From the moment we walked in until we left (like 1 and 1/2 hrs.) later. Everything was great! From the friendly waiter to the perfectly seasoned creamy New England Clam Chowder, The Tender Jumbo Shrimp Parm with linguini in delicious marinara sauce. The Grilled (to perfection!) Shrimp on a bed of tasty paella. We didn't have dessert, maybe next time. We will back!💯 Maybe we will see you there! 🤗
The food was delicious, we ordered grilled octopus, it was tender and very tasty, also we ordered Classic and Mediterranean style muscles. I like the second one more, broth was very rich and delicious. The portions were huge! The service was so-so, the waiter took our order and disapeared for 20 minutes. However, I would come back because of their food.
One of my favorite seafood restaurants not only in Bay Ridge, but anywhere. The food is always delicious from fried shrimp to stuffed salmon to grilled swordfish to paella; I could go on and on. The prices are reasonable and even more important, the wait staff is always lovely. Last week, we went to celebrate our anniversary. We were the last patrons, arriving at around 9:30. We were greeted and served as if it were 7:00. No one rushed us either with words or with affect. I love this restaurant!
I've been here twice - once in 2019 and once in 2020 (for outdoor dining). I had a great meal both times. Coincidentally, I ate outside both times and the outdoor space is great. They have plenty of space on the sidewalk to eat. I love this place.
The front open air bar is so nice, dining room is ok. This place is good for seafood, especially the fried calamari. I didn't care for their chicken dishes , strips were burnt and oil tasted burnt, Chicken picata not good. I would definitely go back just for the seafood and next time I'll eat at the bar.
We hosted a family lunch here in early April and were very pleased with the service and food. Our servers, Francisco and Meanor, were excellent - they took great care of all our guests, without rushing anyone along. We preordered appetizers which made things easier as people only needed to choose the entree. From salads, to calamari, mussels and pasta, the portions were big and the quality of the food was excellent. We brought our own desserts which were mostly left untouched given how full everyone was from the meal. So happy to have chosen Mussels & More for our event. Thanks to Jimmy, the owner, and his staff, more making this a memorable and enjoyable experience.
The service here is always lovely. They ate happy you are there . The food is delicious and very good prices. They have a great bar and beautiful putdoor seating too.
This place is phenomenal. Quality: top of the line food. Excellent: customer service. Outdoor, bar side and back seating available. A mature crowd with great drinks. A definite return back for me.
Big portions of seafood, amazing oysters, good wine and cozy atmosphere. I think it’s mostly romantic place rather than friends meeting, but who knows. Staff is friendly and polite.
Best oysters. Best pizza. 👌
Food is amazing 👏🏼 had clams and calamari omg so delicious and fresh! Also had sliders and fries and you could tailor the sliders to your preference! The waiters are amazing and attentive! Bathrooms were clean! Long Island ice tea on point lol
The food is delicious! Clam chowder soup, coconut shrimp, fungi mussels, and the octopus were all AMAZING. Fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable- very friendly staff. Delicious!
I can't say anything but this. OUTSTANDING FOOD. Their fra diablo sauce is top notch. Brought my wife early for dinner and she couldn't stop drinking the sauce. It's that good. Guacamole is also top notch. Fries were perfectly cooked. Server, unfortunately I can't remember his name, was great. Will definitely be back for the MORE. Lol.
Jim & his staff make you feel like family coming here. My wife and I visit at least once a week trying almost everything on the menu. Damon & Coca make the experience refreshing every time when they serve. The bar manager Minor is just very talented on how he prepares the drinks. With competition like Gino’s & Nino’s, I encourage everyone to give this place a shot for their taste in fine Italian cuisine!
Had a great early dinner. Place was clean and spacious. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was fast and our server was friendly and attentive. A fantastic choice in Bayridge.
WOW. Bay Ridge is a great place to eat and this restaurant is one of the best in the Ridge. You will find locals here because they know that the quality of food served here is top notch. Each dish is special in terms of flavor, freshness and quantity. Eat here for lunch or dinner and leave feeling refreshed and full. Large parties can be accommodated in their party room while dining al fresco seating makes even a small gathering a party. The owner is present to greet you and make sure that your dining experience is as pleasant as possible. I have passed by and seen people enjoying themselves for hours and seeming reluctant to leave.
Classic New York style Italian, great atmosphere, plus they have live bands sometimes ands you can sit right on the street and eat while they play. Great place!
Owner, Jimmy very nice. Service and food were great
I never usually write reviews, but this place deserves one. The food is absolutely delicious! All fish was fresh and seasoned so well. I feel like more people need to be exposed to this place and I will definitely spread the word to my family and friends. We had a variety of appetizers and then seafood salad (yum), fish tacos, shrimp tacos and a vodka pizza. We loved it all!!! We sat outside and then it got a bit windy, so they found us a table indoors right away. The place is bigger than I thought! Highly recommend 😁😁
A Bay Ridge staple, I have been here many times as a girls dine out. Perfect place to have a nice dinner for catching up, celebrating something, or even a date. Of course you don't need a special occasion to come here. Everything I've tried is good but between my friend and I we always get the seafood paella and seafood salad. You also can't go wrong with any of their oysters/mussels/clams as we have tried them all with relish and delight. I appreciate that their alcohol menu is long enough to have options but not enough to overwhelm me as I'm good with my own wine pairings and prefer my beer simple. The pricing is a bit higher than much of the neighborhood but their food does not go wrong and this is also seafood. They do not skimp at all with their portions or the amount of seafood they give you which is a rarity. This place will likely keep it's place as my go to for when I'm craving seafood in the neighborhood as nothing has matched it's consistency in quality, service and atmosphere.
We had our sons wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was amazing! The service and food was wonderful. Everything prepared beautifully and the service was outstanding! The owner Jim and Mynor and his entire staff were a pleasure. We will definitely come again for dinner and any other dinner would definitely be held here again! Thank you Jim !!
We had two pots of mussels. One was better than the next service was second to none
What an amazing experience! A Greek-owned restaurant with a plethora of options. From the Greek-style octopus (the only right way to make it!), the fra diavolo mussels, and the teriyaki salmon with Greek-style rice and spinach, to the key lime pie (from Bay Ridge Bakery, also Greek) and pistachio tartufo, the entirety of our dinner was delicious from start to finish. The ambiance was just as pleasant, as was the service. Can't wait to come back with my mom!
The CLASSIC MUSCLES were to. die. for. They were cooked to perfection.. not too chewy and there weren’t any empty shells. The white wine sauce itself was delicious, stirred together with a ton of herbs, garlic, lemon, and seasoning. I loved that a plate of spaghetti came on the side to add to the pot and fresh Italian bread to soak up the rest of the sauce. We also had the seafood linguini which was equally as tasty! The service was excellent. All staff we interacted with were polite and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back. This place is a staple for anyone in Brooklyn who loves seafood.
Great food and we very much enjoyed the bands that performed outdoors last year! So far, I've had the Classic Mussels, the Mediterranean Mussels, the Calamari, Paella and the Great Neck Clams and they were all perfect!! Nice atmosphere, friendly professional staff, great music, clean tables, clean restrooms. My husband and I will be back with friends soon!!
One of our faves. Nice inside, and also, outdoor seating. An eclectic menu, even bordering on unexpected, accumulated over it's years. Nothing like hanging out at a sidewalk table, on a warm summer night, with good beer, and ice cold buckets of mussels, platters of clams, and oh, that paella. Worth the price. We always go home happy.
A Bay Ridge gem this place been there for the test of time. Food was delicious. Forgot to take photos we had the Greek Salad, octopus and of course you have to get the Mussels with white wine
This place has become my go-to recommendation. Your wallet will appreciate the fair pricing. The staff delivered flawless service! I've ordered extensively and been consistently happy. If nearby again, I'll make another visit.
TLDR: Friendly and observant staff, delicious food, cozy environment. We went as a party of three around 6:30pm on a Friday. The restaurant is composed of two sections linked by a tiny corridor. The front section is bar seating with a few tables, while table seating is usually prioritized in the rear section as there are more seats. The kitchen is open-faced and visible in the rear section as well. The restaurant is a warm and dimly lit vibe. We were seated promptly in the rear section; the restaurant was pretty empty. As the course of our meal progressed, more and more customers arrived until the entire rear and much of the front section was filled by the time we left around 7-7:15. We ordered the Soup of the Day (Lobster Bisque), Linguine Seafood With White Wine Sauce, Lobster Ravioli, and Fra Diavolo Mussels with pasta (linguine) on the side. You also have the option to choose french fries, but we figured more pasta never hurt anybody. The soup came out promptly, and the rest of our food followed shortly. The lobster bisque was hot, rich, and creamy. There were large lobster chunks in it. It was very satisfying to sip on and warmed us up on the cold autumn day. The seafood linguine was also rich and creamy, but it had the added slight sourness of the white wine, which made for a complex but irresistible flavor. The seafood was fresh and plentiful: calamari squid, shrimp, mussels. The lobster ravioli came in large pieces and smothered by a creamy tomato sauce. This was very delicious, with the cheese and minced lobster filling on the inside and chunks of lobster on the outside. Finally, the mussels came in a light but spicy tomato sauce (which was really soup more than a sauce). The sauce had great flavor and had a perfect kick to it. The mussels were fresh and there was plenty to go around. The pasta on the side was unremarkable, but when mixed with the sauce from any other plate, could serve well as a mini pasta dish or a kids meal. The staff were friendly and extremely attentive. When they noticed we were out of water, they brought us more without needing a reminder. This also applied for the hot water that we requested, which is usually easily overlooked. Much props to them. Overall I'd recommend this spot in a heartbeat. I've visited a couple times before and each time the food was delicious. This is definitely a neighborhood classic. The food, service, and ambience were on point. The prices were also perfectly reasonable. 10/10 experience, would return.
When you eat at Mussels & More, you really do get mussels & MORE. You get mussels AND Jim AND delicious food AND amazing hospitality. After reading so many great reviews about this place, we decided to check it out to see if the reviews were true. We originally ordered take-out because we had our baby with us so we thought about just bringing the food back home and eating it from there. By the time we got our food, the baby fell asleep in the stroller and we realized we should take advantage of the time and eat our food there instead. We asked Jim if it would be ok if we can sit down and eat our take out at the restaurant and he was so gracious to let us do that. And then he served us at the table even though we kept telling him that we were not really sitting down to eat since we did not know how long we had with the baby asleep. We were so incredibly touched by his kindness and the hospitality that he and his staff gave us. Not only that, the food was also delicious. I recommend the classic mussels and fried clams.
I came here for a Father’s Day dinner and brought my family. It’s a corner spot. In the front of the restaurant there are sliding glass doors. When weather is permitted, he opens them up and it looks like a big outdoor party. On a regular basis, he has a live band that plays music. They have a full bar. Tables are in the front area of the restaurant and when you walk into the back it’s a open room filled with a bunch of more tables. They also offer outdoor seating around the front and the side of the restaurant. He has a variety of mussels that come in all different type of flavors.
Had a fantastic night at this restaurant. I have to appologize to the staff for staying overtime while they were ready to leave. I gave them a lil extra but that doesn't excuse my behavior so I would like to apologize to them first. We had some appetizers first while waiting for the others. The restaurant wasn't very busy so they sat us to a table real fast. I don't know why there's not more people there. So we ordered a fried zuchinni and a margarita pizza. The zuchinni is the best I ever had. I love zuchinni fries so i order them every chance i get. The seasoning could be better but really no complaints. The zuchinni was very fresh and juicy and the crust was super crunchy. Hats off to the chef. The pizza is really good. Nothing spectacular but it's good for a magarita. We then got the mussels with a few different flavors, the paella, clams on the half shell, baked clams and even tho we were full we ordered desserts too.. everything was so good. the octopus not that much. the clams in the half shell is like the rest. But overall it was a fantastic experience and the food is definitely unique and delicious. Will definitely come back for more.
An unexpectedly AWESOME meal at Mussels and More to celebrate a Baptism yesterday... To say the food was SURPRISINGLY great, SO fresh & prepared beautifully would be understating it. Why don't more people share postings from there?!? Lots of customers, all of them thrilled with the food/cocktails up front in the (L❤vely) Bar area... our party had the private room in the back of the restaurant. Everything was really done right... the lighting the outdoor area ... the seating ... the music... the service ... none of it could have been nicer & the food was awesome!!!!!!!! Do you go there? What's your favorite thing on the Menu?!?
I came here for lunch yesterday after seeing posts about this place on Facebook. I got the Grilled Salmon with a Bloody Mary which both were great. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I took a look inside of the restaurant since we are still doing outdoors and this place really made me miss indoor dining even more. They have a really great eclectic menu with so many options. I will definitely be back.
Had lunch today with my son. It wasnt busy and we were greeted immediately. It was clean and the waitress was very nice and attentive. Our glasses of water were always filled, napkins a plenty and utensils refreshed. We had the fish taco and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. I have to say the mozzarella sticks were better then any pizzeria for sure. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious! My son had the tuna rare and I had the classic mussels. The tuna was charred and yes the inside was rare. Great service and great food. A must go place.
Local seafood restaurant featuring a good selection of mussels. The Fra Diavolo was delicious with its spicy kick. Pizza was pretty decent too.
My staff and I took our high school students here for a dinner celebration and they enjoyed it! The fried oysters and baked clams are a MUST! For me it was the first time indulging in either clams or oysters and let's just say I am a HUGE fan now. The service was excellent and the venue was very cozy and modern. The exposed brick wall is always a nice touch when your dining in Brooklyn, Bay Ridge to be exact.
Had dinner with friends. It was good. Service was good. We had the mussels thai and spartan. Mussels were tasty. Paella was good too. Just the right amount of seafood and rice.
Went last night and I loved it food was great I gave it a 4 star only bc of the size of the mussel, clams in the appetizer and the chopped clams on the pizza but overall I would go back again . 1. Mussel appetizer was very good, the broth was perfectly seasoned, lol I almost took the broth home to make pasta but the mussel meat was very skimpy 2.Fried clam appetizer I thought was great it had nice whole clams and a very light battery but little meat . 3. Fish and chips entree - nice and crispy and not greasy or soaked in oil . Light batter 4. White clam sauce with linguini- AMAZING!!!!! I loved it , very flavorful and lots of clam chunks and 5 big clams on top 5. Margarita pizza was great nice and crispy 6. Clam pizza I liked it but the other people in the party didn't care for it , they were expecting fresh chopped clams . I thought there was way too much garlic and it wasn't crispy on the bottom but I still thought it was good , the clams were nice and tender(soft). 7. Cosmopolitan's served in a margarita glass made the night lol I had two .
The food here is quite delicious. Take heed and do not throw out the broth for any of the mussel dishes you order! It is mean to be enjoyed either with the mussels themselves or lots of bread.
This was honestly such a good choice. I got raw clams & oysters- phenomenal. And I got the mussels in bisque- so damn good. I just wish there wasn’t SO much offered on the menu because it was a tad overwhelming at first. That place definitely needs more business & I hope it gets it.
Only the mussels are noteworthy here. We always get the classic because they are so delicious. Even my four year old eats them up. Save your bread for the end for dipping! Everything else is not that great. I have had fish, and beet salad, and a few other items that weren't great. The ambiance is nice though. Depending on what time of day you come in. I have walked by and seen a few live bands Before. They also have nice outdoor seating during the warmer months. The waitstaff is always very nice. Overall decent experience and can be good for family. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here though (we live down the street).
Friendly service and tables are spaced out nicely during the pandemic. They introduced pizza to their menu recently, which is pretty good - much better than I expected and I would even recommend it. Crispy bottom. I've never been that impressed with their mussels though.
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian/seafood cuisine. I ordered the white clam pizza that includes a nice portion of clams, pecorino romano cheese, garlic, oregano and olive oil. The crust is thin and the pizza has no sauce or cheese. Customers can choose between a 12" or 16" pie. The classic mussels is a generous portion of mussels and includes white wine, herbs, garlic, butter and tomatoes. The shrimp parmigiana hero was good and includes french fries. Restaurant has a corner street location. Friendly and helpful staff.
If you have never tried mussels in Europe, then the place is ok. Bread was not crispy and simply mushy. The broth did not have enough oil and salt. Grilled octopus was tiny and not throughly grilled. Value does not match the price.
Some of the food was not bad, some of it was awful. The staff was alright, the bartender had that “irritated by everything” demeanor that was probably charming in hell’s kitchen circa 1982, the owner.....kind of a douche. The water glasses are made from fine blue plastic. Us: “Sir, the pizza dough is raw” Owner: “It can’t be frozen, I buy it precooked. It’s gluten free.” Us: “You should try it” Owner: “Maybe I can bring out some French fries or something.” Us: “No thanks, we’re done.” Owner brings out mozzarella sticks... Us: “oh, we really didn’t want that, we’re ready for dessert.” Owner: “let’s worry about eating these and then dessert” Me: tries mozzarella stick, and in the first time in my life, spits out a piece of cheese. Dessert was a $9 gelato and an unimpressive cup coffee.
Some of the food is excellent, tuna salad and wings are especially tasty. Others are a bit less enjoyable. The service is excellent and there is a great range of beers and drinks.
Great food, muscles came out very well marinated. Only issue was the service. Our waiter didn't check up on us and didn't even see him after we placed our orders. We had to ask the owner for the check
Dang. The food the food the food. Sigh. I’ve had high hopes for this spot and look at this. I came with my two children and my cousins. She live super closed and chose to come here. We got the plain pizza, fried calamari, French fries, the seafood paella dish, mussels pasta, chicken Cajun pasta and kids pasta. Sigh the seafood paella dish rice tasted weird. It had a taste which I didn’t and never have taste with their paella. It was super disappointing and the mussels looked like they can gain some weight. Service was friendly and atmosphere was lovely. The food hurt me bad since I was looking forward to it.
Have been coming here for a long time..they must have gotten a new cook bc tonight's dinner was horrible!. Warm beer,Penne a la vodka was super salty and in edible, sweet potato fries which are usually my favorite were not even cooked. The waiter was horrible. I dont think I will be coming back here again which makes me sad bc I used to love this place.
Pizza is not brick oven cooked. Trust me I've had brick oven pizza before many times and you can tell tge difference by the crispiness of the crust, charred coloration and softenss of the dough and so on. A bit of a rip off really cause one'd expect better quality pizza for such higher price tag.
We've been here several times before and always enjoyed it, however last night was a disaster! We started with a martini, a beer and grilled octopus but we found two long hairs in the octopus, stopped eating it and told the waiter. Then we had 1/2 dozen oysters at $1 a piece and they were very good so we wanted to order more but were told they were no longer $1 a piece. Then our main entree, classic mussels, was brought to the table. The mussels were so tiny and tasteless. Good mussels are usually plump, juicy and succulent and these were shriveled up little mussels which were no bigger than lima beans. No luck getting a manager or the owner to come over, but in the end we were not charged a penny for anything and we ditched the rest of the mussels, put a small tip for the waiter on the table and left... but not before telling the 3 big guys behind us that video chatting on speaker in a public restaurant is rude. I think it'll be a long time before we go back again.
I've gone here several times for friends birthday parties. The food is ok, not good, and expensive. Any pasta dish is $27. Ordered salad and didn't get it. I've had the mussels before and so many of them were not open. Their espresso machine wasn't working tonight. Basically it's always a disappointment. I wouldn't go back. Only for my friends.
I am appalled at what I just received from this establishment. I ordered a large lobster pizza to be delivered to my home. I received a pizza pie that you would not feed to a pet let alone your family. I called them only to be told I can call back after 8PM to speak with the owner/manager, my order was at 4:11PM. I told the person who answered the phone that is not acceptable. I want another pizza and the driver can take the original back. The end result i was asked to come by the restaurant and drop off the pizza and pick up a new one. Mind you I paid delivery fee, driver's tip and service fee. I expect rto be reimbursed.
I had the mussels and lobster and the lobster was shredded. It had no favor at all. I took it to go for trash. I wasted my money for real. NEVER AGAIN and the wine was cheap. Stick with water
Ordered a fish and chips to go, got home and split the fish in half and got a really bad smell of ammonia. Called and asked how old the fish is and they started scrambling. They knew they gave me old fish... brought it back and they gave me a refund... but definitely not going back there. They should have said they are out of fish instead of serving bad fish.
Awful food! Ordered classic mussels and seafood paella. Mussels were tasteless. Seafood Paella was disgusting. Paella was served to us with long, dark hair was sticking out of it. The bread that they bring out in the beginning was stale. Please avoid this place.
I've been here many times before and have always enjoyed it. Went by this weekend and walked out because non of the servers, bartenders and workers were mask. I understand they may be vaccinated but we are still very much in a pandemic and i would feel much better knowing the restaurant takes safety seriously. Unfortunately, I would have to wait a while until I'm comfortable enough to come back.
The fish tasted like ammonia. Got sick from it, and the plates were dirty. Food is also very overpriced, and the pizza is badly made. Response: no, I got sick from your fish. Stop blaming everybody else for your bad quality food. I’m filing a report as we speak.
I have had dinner at this place twice and have fallen sick both times. I gave this place a benefit of doubt the first time but when I fell sick the 2nd time I have decided never to go here. This place gave me stomach flu both times
I went to this restaurant and ordered the seafood paella and it was definitely not what I expected cause it didn't have yellow rice plus the chef must have looked the other way with the amount of pepper. After leaving the restaurant my stomach started to hurt and when I got home I was so sick and without getting to graphic nothing stayed down & I was sick for 2 days with food poisoning. Stay away from this place !!
After 3 nice dinners at this place, they surprised me with something so terrible that cannot be described . I even don't know where to start... The waiter wasn't able to take the order, he had to come back and asked to repeat it, and even after that was no able to fulfill... He never served the table properly, I mean spoons, plates, bread, etc. Drinks were never delivered at all.. I feel bad for the owner, he or she have to trust the business into the hands of drunk guy! What a shame!!!! 👎💩
I want to rate them -5 stars.... This place sucks!!!! My boyfriend's family and I went here for his parent's anniversary. We all ordered for mussels (which they are famous of), and when it was served, it smells AWFUL! and taste like GARBAGE! My boyfriend cant take it, and make complaint. If i was out there with him or my friends, i will definitely call the attention of the chef/owner... I will never ever recommend this place to anyone!!!!
I place an order through Grub hub I didn't see what I normally order so I place an order and I called to modify order. I spoke to a person on line and told him to change order I said I want the mix Seafood Fra diavolo not the shrimp extra spicy and pasta well done I get a response ok sure. When the order arrived cold the driver smoke so much that the bag only smelled like pure cigarettes open up order wrong oder . I call the restaurant first spoke to a guy told him my situation and he said Give me a min ill call you back when the get here. 10 min later I still wait for a call back . I had to call back. Owner extremely arrogant and rude. Told me there nothing he can do that order should of be change in grubhub and I said I called the restaurant and spoke to your worker. He said really wanted to blame me when I called the restaurant to modify order are you kidding me? Worst service . I throw away the garbage and will never go back. I would understand if the owner would of said am sorry for any inconvenience but we do not have a delivery person. Give me your name and address and next Give you credit. If I didn't call restaurant to modify then I could understand but when I called and got ok that should of been enough. Then she said it would be more money I said $1.00 different you could of charge the card . Never again and I don't recommend this place . Customer service is very important .
Decided to give this place one more chance after two bad experiences. My wife got sick previously, from baked clams. Started off with bread that was stale no butter was given. The Cosmopolitan my wife ordered contained no alcohol and was Horrid. The fried calamari was bottom of the barrel rubbery and burnt. The pot of Mussels was mostly sauce empty shells and very little Mussels. The waiter had an attitude, the owner was arrogant as could be. We left and went to the best place Campania on 99th Street and 4th Avenue the food was fantastic the service top notch the prices were great. Don't believe the five-star ratings at the top of these reviews they all seem to be from Friends of the owner
I ordered food for $85 and my sister went to go pick it up. Once she got there, the man behind the counter told her someone took it and asked if she had a car to go to his house and pick it up? I’m so confused and taken aback by the suggestion and lack of professionalism. Avoid if possible. No one should have to deal with this after paying so much for an order.
This place is so disrespectful. I would like to take my single star and rate them negative 10. 1- $11 key lime pie ordered - Tiramisu received instead 2- $28 order of 8 oysters ordered, I instead received 8 clams which are cheaper. 3- $21 seafood pizza pie ordered. What was sent was a round bread with seafood thrown on it. No sauce, no cheese. This abomination was shuffled in the delivery and we got a ball of garbage instead. The owners of this establishment, if we can even call them that, should be ashamed.
