I had birthday here one month ago and we stayed really impressed with food and servise , olso if you love fun and dance they have live singer and same fun possibility, soo i totaly recomended this georgian restorant.

The food was amazing! We tried the Georgian salad, the barbecue platter, and spaghetti. The dessert was delicious! The serving size for the napoleon was enough for four people! The pear lemonade was also very good. Overall, everything was outstanding and we had an amazing experience.

We had khachapuri with egg and butter and it was really yummy. The owner was very kind and warm, too. Definitely recommend this place :)

Such an amazing romantic dinner date restaurant! My husband and I never had Georgian food before and now we have a new kind of favorite food. The food was Delicious! And the portions were huge we were stuffed and went home with leftovers. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. They were very accomadating for my food allergies as well. This will be a new permanent date night spot for us!

While searching for a Russian restaurant to celebrate my father's 90th birthday, I walked into Nota Bene. I was greeted by the owner, David. I explained my goal -a memorable lunch for my father's Russian speaking friends and our non- Russian speaking family, including young kids. David was very understanding and offered some modifications to the regular banquet menu to accommodate various diet restrictions and tastes; he suggested to invite a dance group and a musician.; as well as how to arrange the tables and the dance floor. He even offered to begin the event an hour earlier. We were 22 adults and 4 children to surprise my father on April 1st as he walked into a beautifully arranged hall at Nota Bene. We spend 5 amazing hours - delicious , non stop food, sumptuous cake, beverages for all tastes, beautiful music, AMAZING dance show that lasted almost an hour, plus all guests dancing under the igniting music. We were allowed to bring and set up our projector and a screen for a photo slide show; and we used the musician's microphone for birthday wishes, games, and for guests' dedications and songs for my father. The surprise birthday was a great success in all respects. We might even make it a tradition to return to Nota Bene for other celebration. We certainly recommend Nota Bene as a place for good Georgian food and where one can have a memorable celebration for a group of any age /ethnicity.

Came here with a group of friends as walk-ins and we were promptly seated at an unreserved table. The service was prompt and the food lives up to the culinary expectations of Georgian cuisine. The menu items were the Imeruli khachapuri and Georgian bread, which was served warm and truly made my mouth water. The best Khachipuri in Brooklyn hands down, handmade and packed with cheese it is a large portion for 1 person even a hungry one. Also they bake their own bread fresh daily from scratch, most restaurants do not do this and buy from a large bakery distributor.

(you probably know how many rats, mice are around here) If you visit this place make sure you have a lot of time because looks like their short on waiters .. and the ones there not too experienced if you know what I mean .. They are sort of trying but in a very unique way .. The food was 3 out of 5 stars but edible. Overall I would recommend to cook yourself and save money for a Broadway show ..

I don't think that this restaurant will last long . Name of the restaurant doesn't correspond with advertisement online and with the food that they serve . Whatever they have on their website doesn't exist and menu is completely different. It's definitely not a Italian or French restaurant. Service was a disaster. They screwed up everything. And money that we paid was too much. Never going there again.

unfortunately the restaurant can't meet even elementary level of service. Starting from Owner and continuing to any sever they are very unprofessional. They can't plan events, food comes very late and not sufficient at all. In case you complain and talk to management - expect them to scold you and try to kick you from there. I'm very sad to write this review. Please mind your money and nerves, think twice before you go there.

We came here for the first time because my friend said it’s a nice place and has a good food. The place itself was nice and clean. Unfortunately, we didn’t get what we expected and left even before we got our full order. We ordered appetizers and salad, which we didn’t get even after the main course. Most of the items on the menu was not available. I’ve been in Georgia and some other Georgians restaurants here in NY, and honestly, was very disappointed with the service and food in this specific restaurant. When we ask where is the salad and why appetizers still not on a table while the main course is served, the server just didn’t know what to say. So, I wouldn’t even recommend it, if you want to enjoy the food. On top of it the life music was so loud that you couldn’t hear anyone, even those who were sitting next to you. We left and went to other restaurants where food and service was more professional done.

unfortunately we were not able to try the quality of the food, because when we came there at 12:02 pm we were told to come at 12-30, I asked to just look at the menu so that I could come with my family the next day, but the girl employee did not even allow us to go in and look at the menu. very strange negativity from the very early hours of the restaurant opening

Well, besides hinkali, they were good 👍 Life music was good, that was probably THE ONLY thing that kept us there. Unforgettable “Back to USSR” experience. You want to try it? I doubt it

i visited this place couple of days ago thought i would grab some Georgian cuisine on my way home after work, wanted to try famous Georgian khinkali and khachapuri, both tasted so salty that couldnt even keep eating after the first bite, afterwards the service was terrible, we had to call the servers for changing plate and adding beverage(which they were out for most of the things),there was a big language barrier for servers, this is the last place i will ever visit so should you

visited the place couple of days ago, tried some of the food the waitress recommended, which you would guess that did not fit the description, for example they have mushroom cream soup, but it comes just as a soup there was nothing creamy about it, then service was terrible, we had to call the waitress there in order for them to change the plates, this is not the place i will ever visit again

This restaurant does not even deserve one star. Service was extremely terrible, the table was never cleaned once, the music was very loud for the space they offer, the bathroom was very dirty. Our bad review comes from the fact that we experienced the most unhygienic service ever. Please see attached picture; Plates placed on top of each other and on top of other dishes and meals. This is against sanitary, regulations, and protocols of New York State. Please be mindful before you plan a big gathering there.

Im deeply disappointed and, to be honest, ashamed as a Georgian myself. The experience at Nota Bene was a far cry from the warm hospitality that Georgia is known for. The slow service, lack of attention to detail, and unapologetic management fell woefully short of expectations. As someone who takes pride in our cultural heritage, it's disheartening to see a restaurant fail to live up to these values. Never recommend this place to anyone!

I recently visited Nota Bene with a large group of around 150 people (almost all Georgians) including special guests from out of state. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by significant delays and poor service. We waited an hour and a half for food to arrive after being seated (khachapuri especially is served usually within minutes when guests are seated) and some dishes (Mtsvadi) took over two hours to be served. The service was disorganized, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. To make matters worse, when our group leaders reached out to the management, we didn't receive any apology or explanation. The music was also extremely loud, making conversation difficult. Given the restaurant's Georgian heritage, it's surprising that traditional dishes were not served in sufficient quantities for our group. For example, Khinkali meant for eight people was served with only five. Overall, our experience at Nota Bene fell short of expectations, particularly when it comes to hospitality, which is a cornerstone of Georgian culture. Very disappointed and I strongly not recommend anyone to visit this place.

We were surprised when we visited the second time. Food preparation time is over 1 hour, we got it slightly warm. We did not receive the food for 1 person at all, but were charged for all 5 of us. They don't even want to offer TO GO service. they changed and I am so sad. Would never come back. And their staff attitude is not positive.

Food is actually disgusting had to spit it out. Ordered it from uber eats. Bread seemed barely cooked. Cheese was awful only good part was the pepperoni on the pizza. Dollar slices taste better than this.
