You must try the pernil (roast pork shoulder with crispy skin) with yellow rice, black beans, and fried plantains. Also, the tripe soup is great. Absolutely love this place. Don't be put off by the lack of decor because the food is the real star of this place.

The spanish food here is delicious. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. The trays are average price and you get a decent amount of food. It's clean here and has a warm feeling to it. The pernil is soft and delicious omg and the plaintains are awesome. I haven't tried all foods here but i'm quite sure their delicious. They make great spanish drinks to and coffee.

Delicious food, excellent service, clean place, great prices. I just love their pepper steak and sancocho (spanish soup with everything in it) which is very filling. Actually, everything I have tried there exceeded my expectations. Try it, you wont regret it.

This restaurant I was pleasantly surprised with the mofongo which the last time I did have it was in Puerto Rico 2 yrs ago, and it was delicious. I have ordered food from there several times and know Im going to get my moneys worth and more. The staff/ owners actually take pride and care with their work. The food is AMAZING! 10/10. ( side note, I’m Dominican ) we were very surprised with our experience overall considering the place doesn’t look great, but again everything else was exceptional! Can’t wait to go back! Mofongos were sooooo good! Pernil was very good! Oh and prices were really good and the portions were also really good. Very impressive. Thank you! Excepcional!!!!

Ate here today and food was delicious. Very clean and workers were very attentive. I would definitely buy from them again. Had yellow rice and rotisserie white quarter. I would add a little stew gravy but very tasty.

The veggie burger is great! I left order instructions and they were followed to a T. I got all the utensils and side sauces I asked for. I'd be happy to continue ordering from PC. Please keep up the excellent service!

The customer service is sweet and sincere . Paired with great food makes a good combo. Try the chicken strips and salad also spinach salads are not on the menu but 1 was made special to order... that was cool

Don’t believe the negative reviews. The food here is incredible and the value is unbeatable. They give you so much meat with every portion and the small size is usually plenty for an entire meal. Service is also stellar — everyone is super friendly. Ambience is bad but that doesn’t really matter because it’s mostly for take out anyways. I live nearby so I come often. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for cheap, delicious Dominican food.

I placed an order for takeout. The menu says Mexican, yet the website says it's a Dominican restaurant. The food tasted bad, but it was in good quantity. I had no idea that Spanish cuisine could taste so awful. For me, it's unquestionably a one and done.

I had the stewed chicken, yellow rice and black beans. It was a lot of food for the price so I thought I'd eat some and bring the rest home. Once I started eating, I didn't stop. The chicken well seasoned moist and bursting with flavor. The rice...not dry at all but I had them add gravy from the chicken and along with the black beans, all kinds of flavors were bursting in my mouth. I ate everything. I left out of there full and well satisfied. I would highly, highly, highly recommend this place.

I've ordered food over a dozen times and had it delivered to me, and I've only ever sat and ate int he store once. It has a nice atmosphere, the staff is very nice. When I order food, Ive had a mix of different interactions, Ive had times when the food has come so fast I wasn't ready (when it came fast, it was amazing still) Then I've had an experiences where it took a long time for the food to come and it was so frustrating because it seemed like the people in the store weren't working enough to see what was going on with the delivery guy. However that was a couple times which compared to all the times ordered and received good service, makes the couple of incidents moot. They have amazing breakfast, I appreciate how they make bacon without stripping it off it's flavor.

Decent place to grab breakfast or lunch, I got the number 7 with turkey bacon, home fries, egg, and sausage. It came out hot and fresh and with a soda was around close to 11$ for a decent size plate , but the place is smaller and can get crowded, so you can expect a Wait for sure at times.

I enjoy their rice meals very much but I would be careful about ordering other foods like burrito. I recently ordered vegetarian burrito and it took them longer to make it than the rice dishes. Also, I realized halfway thru the meal that they did not put guac as mentioned in the menu. -1 star for the burrito experience.

The staff is friendly and treat you like family, the menu has a myriad of options. I tried cassava for the first time (awesome) you would almost want to eat every meal here. When I visit the city again I'll go back.

Use to be a real place to get your rice and beans on .now it's just ok .pork is still on point ..If you catch it when it's on. It's on. If not.its a decent place to grab and go some lunch

The food can be better! It use to be very good food. Now the rice is always dry or looks old, the breakfast taste rushed and the meat some times seem like left overs from the previous night. I guess it's because of the location. The coffee tastes like instant coffee or just watered down.

I have been eating n ordering deliveries from here for over 4 years. This morning i was attempting to order breakfast and the lady on the phone got rude and disrespectful because the delivery was to the projects and her delivery person did not have change for $100...only necause it was to the projects....like my money isnt any good. I wirk hard and demand respect...i was disrespected sometimes my breakfast orders over $40 for only 2.people...i spend money all damn day in there when i am using the Seamlessly app... It seems they dont respect you unless u are using a delivery app. I am looking for another Spanish restaurant to order from.

Had a 17 dollar breakfast Mon December 16th was charged 76 dollars on debit card. Waitress didn't give receipt.Now astablishment hasn't called or tried to re- pay me. I think it's a scam on non New Yorkers, so beware!

I ordered for the first time and food was horrible the mofongo with chicharon de cerdo, milanesa de pollo yellow plantain and floutas was cold and the rice was old 🤢 specially the milanesa de pollo was nasty 🤢🤮 I throw away all the food , everything was DISGUSTING .

I went there to get a mangú...the mangú tasted like he threw a bottle of vinegar on it, eww I couldn't eat it...then I asked for a piece of cake and I said I wanted dulce de leche but he gave me a tres leches then when I went back to change it he was with attitude kinda arguing with me... that I didn't say dulce the leche when I said it, at the beginning everything was perfect but then after I went with my male friend he started being funny, one day I asked for an empanada and he tried to give me 2 when I only asked for one then he said he had 2 in the pot cooking which I only asked for one so not my fault...he gotta be Profesional or the business is gonna go down. I've never cross the line of client with personal with this guy...never gaves him no hopes I was just being normally polite no more no less.

The absolute worst customer service ever. I came here trying to pick up dinner quickly. There was no one in the restaurant and the man was cracking jokes instead of serving people. Horrible establishment I will never return. Rude, inattentive, waste of time! Stay away from this trash place.

The food here isn’t good then they have the nerve to over price everything! Smh. Empanadas (especially the chicken) is DRYYYYY as the deserts in Africa. It’s just not worth it. DON’T waste your time or money. I’m from the Bronx and I know good Spanish food and this isn’t it.
