Opinions de Sippy Cafe Brooklyn
The best Strawberry Latte i've ever had hands down. Their green eggs and cheese is incredible, almond crossaint is amazing! I can't recommend this place enough!
Beautiful setting and welcoming people. I’ll definitely come back
Place is modern with clean marble bar stool and bar looking out their wall to wall windows. Parallel is their service counter/bar & kitchen. The staff was so lovely, helpful and patient. Great music (personal opinion Swifty for life!) a legit delicious looking food menu. With their whole menu easy to see the staff do help in answering any curious questions. Their drink menu seems to be a hybrid of Japanese/French with the whole Brooklyn chill. Classics and inspired flavor combos. I had their maple hojicha oat latte and it was authentic and YUM! Perfect temp as a latte should be consistently with a bonus of foamy joy for oat milk and easy to stir latte art into so was a happy girl! I 110% wanna try their Kani brioche sandwich next time! ☺️😋 Arigato Sippy Café!
If you need a coffee run, add sippy cafe to your list. Their coffee is absolutely amazing, especially their unique Asian-inspired lattes. If you’re not a coffee lover, they have matcha options too. They use ceremonial matcha, which is already unsweetened. You can always ask for it to be sweetened to your liking. My friend tried the black sesame latte and the green eggs and cheese, and they were both incredible! She said the latte had a perfect balance of sweetness and it was like having a dessert. (kind of like black sesame rice cake) I got the classic drip, and it had a super bold, deep flavor that was smooth and delicious. They roast their own coffee beans, which I find very cool! Definitely made it to my cafe shop list! :)
Sippy Cafe is my favorite go-to! I always order the Kani Tamago sandwich and try a different milk tea flavor every time I visit. Great atmosphere to hang out in, and very reasonable prices.
This cafe is by far one of the best in the neighborhood. The brioche sandwiches are so consistently good and they have the best strawberry matcha I have tried. The sandwiches are light and fluffy and flavorful and the matcha is so smooth and they mix in strawberry that tastes fresh and sweet. Their staff is always nice and the cafe is very adorable. Highly recommend!!
Absolutely coming back again! The food was delicious - I got the Green Egg & Cheese sandwich which was so yummy and delightfully messy (napkins provided). I also have to strongly recommend the delicious milk tea! I'm somewhat picky about oolong milk tea & here it had just the right flavor without being oversteeped, too sweet, or too milky. Unfortunately because I came in the late afternoon they were all out of boba but that just means I have to come back and try it! Not really a work/laptop cafe but the vibes are lovely for sitting around and reading/drawing/chatting for a bit at the small tables. And yes there's A/C inside!
Big fan of matcha. Was in the area and heard about this spot. The strawberry matcha is very refreshing and tasty. The truffle egg and cheese on the side was great as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to another visit whenever Im in the bk area again.
Hands down the best Soy Ube Latte I’ve had in the US. Perfect balance of flavor and sweetness without drowning the espresso flavor in sugar or having the espresso overwhelm the ube.
I totally cop to being a coffee snob. We buy high-end beans and have an expensive Moccamaster machine at home. (A gift I appreciate every day) Consequently, most of the time when I pay $8 for a latte at one of the many fancy coffee shops in our neighborhood, I am typically underwhelmed and wish I had just had our coffee at home. Sippy is one of the rare exceptions. The black sesame latte is so rich and silky I can barely speak while I drink it, and the brown sugar oat latte is almost as good. We got an eggwich recently and it was perfect. The brioche was so light, eggs cooked perfectly, toppings really flavorful. The staffers here are always kind, attentive and quick. They know their stuff if you have trouble deciding what you want. Only downside is it’s not really set up to hang out, it’s more of a grab and go situation. That’s sort of a shame because I didn’t want that breakfast sandwich to get cold, so we ate perched on the stools by the window. It was fine, but not cozy. Will I do it again? 100%. I would hover under an overhang on the curb and be happy with Sippy.
Light filled airy space with delicious drinks. Met a friend here to pick up hot bevvies before a walk on the promenade. Matcha with light rose syrup was just right, and the venue was too.
Cozy spot with a great atmosphere. Staffs are friendly and recommended us to try the strawberry matcha latte. 10/10 would come back.
I love this cafe!! I go all the time to get work done and the atmosphere is always so welcoming! I love the strawberry matcha latte—it’s definitely one of the best l've ever tried. The service is also great since the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a really nice cafe to stop by!!
This is a coffee cafe with great additions to the menu. The place is smallish with only a few tables. Don't expect too much with the decor. No frills but works Ordered Truffle egg and cheese brioche. It is cooked/prepared as you order. Super. Excellent. Simply yummy 😋. Not to take away anything from the sandwich itsef, I was told that the brioche comes from the notable Manhattan Baltazar bakery. The whole package just works in a fantastic way. One of the best egg and cheese sandwiches I have ever had. Got the ube latte (whole milk) Lovely latte art work. The color is just wonderful. The taste you ask? The coffee is smooth, refined and yet robust. Very nice balance. Wonderful coffee with a hint of ube. Did I mention that the croissants also are from Baltazar? ...with in house cookies and bread loads. One more thing...the service was superb. I had many questions and all were answered and explained in a graceful manner. Can't wait to go and try more of their offerings. This is a great place. Highly recommend
Firstly the service and staff were so nice, helpful and didn’t make me feel rushed. That matcha latte and truffle egg sandwich it the spot for sure. Thank you so so much sippy coffee. Absolutely great experience
Besides the Little Sweet Cafe, Sippy Cafe is the top two coffee shop you must visit in Brooklyn. Contemporary, simple, no-frills, quality drinks and sandwiches. We ordered green eggs and cheese, Kami Tamago, matcha latte, and regular latte. Both sandwiches were very delicious. Matcha latte was balanced using high quality matcha. Latte was the only thing that we didn’t enjoy, no coffee flavor. Overall, highly recommended.
I love this sippy cafe the staff is so nice Highly recommended!! I got this mango match and it tasted amazing 🤩🤩
The lavender matcha is one of my favorites and the breakfast sandwiches are also delicious so it's always a mandatory stop every weekend.
Super great cafe! They hand lots of specialty drinks like lavender teas, ube lattes, and my personal favorite, strawberry matcha. Additionally they have tasty breakfast & lunch sandwiches as well as some sweet pastry options. The staff is always friendly and ready to meet all dietary restrictions. Totally recommend!
Ordered a black sesame latte. Loved it. Will definitely be there to try something else again if I ever go to that area.
Got a strawberry matcha latte. It was well made, well balanced sweetness. Seems like a nice place to grab matcha overall.
Update: they did such a good job elevating the space and making it more inviting with tables, decor and even a cute mandarin plant. Matcha Latte is consistently great! Original: Very decent matcha latte. I wish the ambiance had more character and was more inviting to stay. It is a clean cut, light space but feels too sterile and empty, so even if I want to stay and sit at the window to sip my drink I eventually head out. It is more of a take out place I feel.
Strawberry matcha is the best ive ever tasted. I go often just for the match.

Quiet local coffee shop near bustling downtown metro center. Really yummy strawberry matcha latte, also recommend the brown sugar oat latte. Staff behind the counter are always super friendly. Go support this small business!

We had maple hojicha and black sesame signature drinks. Hojicha was a little more mild than we're used to but nice flavor. Black sesame latte was nice and nutty just be aware that it takes a little swirling - I found all the sesame at the bottom at the end of the drink. Probably less of a concern of you get it iced and drink with a straw. Asked for things less sweet and they were perfect. Space is small and a little sparse but clean and with a few tables and a window bar. No dine-in cup options, only take-out. No bathroom.
Small and cute cafe with a very few seats. I went there at 4 pm and they were getting ready to close the shop. Only had tea. Tea was okay. I wanted to eat something but since they were closing, I didn't get anything to eat. They don't have a lot of flavors of tea, but have a lot of variety in the latte. Next time I will go a little earlier.
Nice cafe in Brooklyn. I got the black sesame latte, I usually like it with a strong flavour and this one was more on the subtle side but still very good. Service was very nice! There’s a few seatings inside but the place is pretty small. They definitely have drinks you might not be see all the time so I will be back!

The room was very hot, with no shades where the sun was piercing in. The dessert was ok, but a bit dry and hard for a cinnamon bun. The fruit tea was a bit too sugary but pleasant. The worker was very sweet and efficient.
Great coffee shop with some great coffee. A good variety of flavors and not too expensive. Staff is helpful and friendly. The latte was very tasty. Give them a try! Edit* had different flavors like the ube and sesame but they had not been good the last few times. Tastes burned honestly or just never real flavor.

Ube latte was underwhelming. Pastry was edible but dry and tough. Tables were dirty. Floor unswept. No bathroom. Literally just ok.
Honestly the staff was nice and I was expecting an amazing sandwich and coffee and they both were not good. The tuna melt wasn’t good, the flavor of the tuna and the mayo was a lot. The cafe au lait had a burnt taste to it. Why do small coffee shops insist on serving burnt coffee?

Ordered a hot chai latte through uber eats and received an iced, watered down, flavorless (because it was watered down) chai latte. I got refunded via uber eats for the latte but I can’t reorder because id have to pay AGAIN for delivery/tax. Read the damn order it’s not that hard.

I would not recommend it if you want Boba tea. It was not good and expensive. They had one size cup for the iced drinks. You're better off going to Vivi or Gongcha, which isn't a far walk.
Was so looking forward to try this place. Went a little past 4 pm, place was empty. Ordered iced ube latte and Kani Tamago sandwich. Very disappointed. Tasted like very bitter coffee. It's purple but no ube flavor. They kindly tried to fix it, still very bitter with some fake sugar taste. They tried to fix it again adding some milk and something else. All I could say is the taste was the same bitter coffee. The sandwich was simple just ok not worth the 8 dollars. Spent 18.00 with tip. Horrible experience. Isn't there a standard way of mixing the drinks for consistency since I've read some good reviews.
Ordered a matcha and it’s basically just light green milk. The baristas won’t correct it and instead told us we have to pay extra.
Horrible customer service experience. Ordered a drink with soy milk. When l was told it was flavored with vanilla which made it artificial, l was told l could not change my order to another drink or get my money back. I didn’t think to ask if there were any signs about that. But what annoys me is that l wasn’t allowed to change my drink. And left with something l wasn’t unhappy with. Obviously l am not going there anymore.
The girl taking the order had a terrible attitude. Would rather go somewhere else for since the drinks there are nothing special
It’s a great cafe in so many ways, above and beyond in food and menu and drinks and atmosphere. But there is only one person handling everything during peak hours and they are usually stuck in another room with the kitchen, meaning you have to wait 10min as the line builds up just for someone to come out and take the first order and then another 10min just for them to get to your coffee order. And then after all that, they get my coffee order wrong. And then I ask for the correct order, and they get it wrong again because they’re so overwhelmed. Somewhere like this doesn’t count as a cafe. EDIT: Came back a couple months later and still the same problem. They forget my drink without even realizing it. EDIT 2: They have no bathrooms…they have a indoor seating for customers, but no bathroom…
Pictures are misleading. Matcha tasted like straight milk and I spent almost $7 on it. They were unhelpful when I asked them to correct it.
Sippy has always been my go-to spot for an Earl Grey milk tea fix. Unfortunately, I recently found a tiny screw in my boba tea — something I wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t taken the lid off. As much as I’ve enjoyed this place in the past, I can no longer recommend it after this experience.
