We came for Christmas day! It was a vibe the servers Alex and Jason were 10/10 would recommend! They were amazing. Very accommodating to my vegan dietary needs! Accommodating when making wine and cocktail selections for me and my sister! I think I've found a new regular spot to come in NY. Will definitely be back.

Had a great brunch experience at Sungold in Brooklyn. I highly recommend the Chocolate Babka French Toast—it was excellent. My friend ordered the Mushroom Burger, which was also very good. The service was fast and friendly. A solid choice for brunch.

My boyfriend wanted a bottomless brunch so we popped in to give Sungold (Arlo Williamsburg) a shot. We walked down the outside staircase and quickly realized we had to go behind the bar for the hostess. We were sat down almost right away in the open area with the plush, sea foam green booths. Really liked the elevated and relaxed atmosphere. There was a couple next to us and they had a dog. Very Brooklyn but good to know they’re dog friendly! Juan was our server and made brunch a smooth experience. He was quick to refill drinks and gave a reminder you can switch (mimosa to Bellinis etc). My favorite part was his friendly demeanor and creating a great balance or balance but also checking in on us. The food was delicious too. We opted for some sweet treats and Juan reco’d the pancakes, huge miss if you don’t have that or the babka French toast (1 piece only though). We also never felt rushed which was a bonus too. Whenever we’re in the area we’ll def be back!

Carlos and Juan were fabulous! They were super attentive and made our experience so positive! Carlos suggested we get the hangover sandwich as it is is favorite, and now it’s my favorite too! Definitely come and enjoy the atmosphere and wonderful service!

Very cute space with good lighting and the food is really fresh and feels like farm to table. Great choices and they have lots of options. I also got the espresso martini for drinks and it was fantastic. Juan and Carlos have an amazing team for us hosting here for brunch! Very attentive and provided good customer service.

sungold had friendly service and a great vibe. the latkes were a standout, fresh, crisp, and not overly fried, with a really satisfying texture. we ordered the steak medium rare but it came out closer to medium, though the sauce was delicious and helped make up for it. the side salad was a bit overdressed, but overall it was a solid meal.

Came here for dinner with my girlfriend and I; My expectations were high considering Sungold's very high google reviews. We ordered a Chicken Parmesan, Second Street burger, and the lamb meatballs. My Chicken Parmesan was so salty I could not finish it. The after taste of eating the Chicken Parmesan was horrible. Our Lamb Meatballs were way too overcooked. The Meatball sauce was delicious, I loved the citrus lime yogurt with tomato meatball sauce. The burger is very ordinary, nothing special. Decent good burger. I do not like their French fries; they are skinny short pale French fries with only a side of ketchup - they have no other side of sauce - only ketchup. It is Williamsburg, NY I guess. Service and atmosphere is 10/10.

Great place to have drinks and have a good time with your friends or partner. Definitely not a place to eat. The food is mid at best. Our server Hanna was fantastic!

The restaurant was ok but the amount fragrance in this restaurant and hotel is unbearable and detracts greatly from the experience. It is over powering and everywhere. If you have a sensitive nose avoid avoid avoid. To the managers of this facility please do not impose these scents on all of your guest, any scents such be extremely mild and barely noticeable.

as you can see from photos, restaurant is pretty empty and service was incredibly, insultingly bad. do not go, unless you dont mind being treated poorly. and this is in Brooklyn, lots of choices.

The place was nice but the food was very bad. The pizza sauce tasted like canned sauce, the chicken parmesan didn’t had flavor, the “salad” were just sliced onions. The bass made my friend sick. Wasn’t well prepared.

I wish I could tell you how the food was here, but after being seated and unattended for 20 minutes - me and my partner decided to leave out of complete humiliation. We tried closing our menus, making eye contact & still nothing from the waiter. I would give you a name of the waiter but we were never greeted. Other tables were being actively served.
