✨A delicious hidden taco 🌮spot in Williamsburg i came across on a little walk with my friends, I also noticed this place was super busy so I was super curious to try it out. My favorite was the Al Pastor Taco, they even have a mini station to add your sauces, cilantro, onion and lemon 🤤!! This place reminded me of tacos from LA ✨ it was super good & will be coming back!!☺️
Top top top taco place in Brooklyn! As we expected, there were at least 10 ppl waiting in the que, however, we waited for 15-20min to be seated. Indoor space are separated to parts. 6-8 could fit at the bar seats, and another 6-8 at the window seats. No need to worry, there are plenty of seats for make it to go and enjoy your tacos. Their menu was fine as hell. Not like typical taco, but they had their outstanding recipe of making their own style of it. Taste amazing, service is sweet, neighborhood was charming Must try when visiting GreenPoint!
When folks say this may be the best tacos in town, they're not kidding! Wow!! BEST TACOS NYC PERIOD! This cool little spot dishes out tacos with incredible flavors! The tortilla is dipped in a consume from a choricera consisting of many meats, slapped on the grill to give it a little crispiness and then filled. Choricera is a metal vessel where meats are slow cooked for hours, resulting in a combination of flavors from different cuts of meat. The longanista get a little char from a torch. The al pastor sliced from the trompo is topped with a little slice of pineapple. The saudero gets a char, chopped and bathes in the choricera. The al pastor and longanista have a crisp outer layer and great depth of flavor. You get to do the toppings on your own First time having cactus tacos and this just blew me away. I ordered it with chicharon which gave it an additional layering of flavor. Was not expecting this to be so good! The saudero is tender and full of flavor absorbed from the consume in the choricera. The compechano taco is a mix of longaniza and saudero cuts. And tastes awesome! If you like tacos, do not skip out on this spot. check out Taqueria Ramirez get 1 or all 6 of their tacos and enjoy the amazing authentic flavors of a taco from Mexico. Tune in for my next taco stop and follow me for great eats around NYC Taco options: longaniza, tripe, al pastor, suadero, nopales (cactus), and campechano (both suadero and longaniza). You can get the cactus without the chicharon. I had all 6 types of their tacos. Definitely be back soon for more. There is no takeout here & you return the plates. Seats inside and outside, service moves fast. If you go late at night, they may sell out of some options. So go early.
The Pastor taco was just excellent, you have to try it. The Campechano was also good. Heads up that this spot is dine-in only (i.e. the meals come out on plates that you must return), so you will have to sit inside or outside to eat. Very friendly and festive staff. Things move pretty fast, so it shouldn't be an issue to wait a bit.
Tried the pastor and tripa tacos with a mexican drink on the side. Overall, the meat was extremely tasty and paired well with the soft corn taco plus sides. More flavorful and a better value than Los Tacos No. 1 in my opinion. Only negative is the store is small and dine-in only. Although, I don’t think tacos should ever be taken home before being eaten. 😉
The atmosphere is cute, just to small for my taste, but I guess it works for being in Brooklyn. The tacos are small, but very tasty. I did go, because Tik-Tok made me do it and not saying that the tacos are bad, because they aren’t just I do find them a bit soggy since I believe their tacos are cooked In lard for all. I’m a Taco lover so I guess that’s why I might be a bit pickier since I probably have tried every authentic Taco there is over NYC. Lol still wish them the best of luck, but if your going to have any of their Tacos def get their signature that they are known for which is their pork tacos.
Great tasting yet affordable tacos. This was my second visit to Taqueria Ramirez, and I have to say they have improved a lot. First off, they now accept card and NFC (tap to pay) payments. Second, it looks like they revamped the interiors to make it look more accommodating. Third, not sure how the staff does it, but the counters are much cleaner than I remember! Props to the staff for successfully multi-tasking. Now to comment on the food: Their tacos are great. They're fairly small, so expect to order 2 to 3 tacos per person. They have a wide selection that can cater to everyone (I believe the Nopales is all veg). My personal favorites are the Pastor and Campechano. There is a "salsa" bar on the side where patrons can get lime slices, green (mild) and red (spicy) hot sauce, and napkins. The even have a big ol' bottle of hand sanitizer so you can rinse your hands after eating those oily (yet crazy good) tacos. Lastly, they have a coat rack by the corner and a bathroom! Would always make it a point to go here when I crave tacos. 5 stars
Taqueria Ramirez is that neighborhood taco shop that’s worth the hype. I especially love how deftly seasoned the fillings are and their bright and stingy salsa. Watching the chefs preparing tripa and suadero in bubbling lard inside a como choricero is yet another down-to-earth experience. Not to mention their kicky salsa roja with habanero and creamy tomatillo-avocado salsa verde, which is unapologetically delicious. Still, paying 5 bucks for a single taco (where, for the same price, you can get half a dozen in CDMX) but I guess that’s a reasonable economic behavior now since we’re talking the most gentrified part of Greenpoint. Regardless, I’m willing to pay for good quality food. Cállate and take my money, Ramirez.
Best tacos in NYC. Los Tacos No. 1 are a close second, but these have my heart. Recommend getting here when they open or you’ll be waiting in a bit of a line. It goes fairly quickly though. The Al Pastor are the best move here. Get as many as you can eat. The other tacos are amazing as well, but that one stands out the most. They have toppings on the bar behind the counter. No takeout - only eat in, which is authentic CDMX style. Tacos should be eaten immediately! I come here at least once a month - always hits the spot.
As someone visiting from the West Coast, I have high standards for good Mexican food and this place is the real deal. It might just be good enough to put the East Coast on the map as a worthy contender. The al pastor & suadero tacos were bomb. So. much. flavor. I was lucky enough to randomly be there on a Tuesday, the day that they serve gringas as a specialty. They’re basically mini quesadillas with your choice of meat & you can add all your fave toppings to them as well. Service was quick and it’s a cute little hole in the wall that still has a good amount of seating inside & outside. I will be making a beeline back to this place the moment I touch down in NY again.
Damn good tacos. The pastor was really good. But the other ones were better. Tons of flavor great tortillas and a good amount of filling. Surprisingly the line moved pretty damn fast so don’t be intimidated if it’s wrapped around the block. Staff was quick and nice too. Def want to try these again.
Excellent spot for tacos, a late night bite, and perfect snack for the summer! Be cautious there might be a line when you go during the evenings, but the operation moves very fast. Not to mention everything is cooked fresh and right in front. The place has a few stools for sitting down, but it's more a place for a quick hang to snack on some tacos and make your way along franklin street. Definitely some of the best tacos that have a unique taste you won't find anywhere else. I recommend atleast ordering 10+ for two people. You'll be able to eat these tacos in a few bites each. After you get your tacos there is a small self-serve station for onions and sauces to put on your tacos. Really cool and unique spot right in the neighborhood!
An absolute local gem with incredible tacos - by far the best i've ever had in nyc! 🌮🤌✨ Authentic flavors straight from CDMX. We got almost one of everything off the menu and my personal favorites were Tripa (beef small intestines) and Campechano (beef + pork sausage). The flavors were amazing and they just melted in my mouth. We had to get another round of tacos after we finished them because they were just so damn good. The Nopales (sauteed mexican cactus) taco was also very interesting, for this was my first time trying them. You're also free to put on as much topping as you want on your tacos, which i liked. This place is very popular so if you don't go early, you're most likely to wait in a line. Recommend visiting on a weekday during the day to avoid the long waits!
In this order: campechano (slightly spicy, but literally for a second I thought I was in CMDX), pastor (love, but wish it had more than ONE slice of pineapple), longaniza (despite being veeeeeeryy spicy for me, but bc it was strong in flavor), suadero. Compared to other tacos, well priced ($5 each) but also a tiny bit smaller, incredibly quick, and reaallyyy good. I think they don’t do take out. Has a total of like 16 seats
Popular hole in the wall taco spot in greenpoint for good reason. Outside of Mexico, these are the best tacos I’ve ever had and every time I’m in greenpoint I try to make a stop here. They recently opened an offshoot in the city but sadly I’m not a fan of the more ‘special’ cuts of meet they serve there…
Place is a little hard to find if you’re driving so make sure to look at google street view. This place has the best tacos I’ve ever had and even though it’s expensive $4 for one taco. I think it’s worth it. Space is clean and has some seats, not suitable for children as it can get crowded quickly. The red salsa is extra spicy but very delicious. The service was good. Suadero taco was what I ate and it was life changingly delicious. Never ate a better taco in the city. Veg option is the cactus which my friend devoured before I could take a picture.
These tacos are not for people that seek attention to post in their social media. This place is for those who want to taste the flavor of the authentic Mexican street tacos/cuisine. If you are flabbergasted by how Michelin decided to grant one star to Mexican tacos, and this you considered scandalous; then do not come to this tacos. This tacos are the best tacos. They have no other equal in NYC. Los tacos no.1 are different. I enjoyed bringing my family and everything. This is the best way you as gringo will taste the best of Mexico City. I loved the place. Do not change, you’re the best. My recommendation: pastor. Best salsas. Although the beside neighbor made a cara de fuchi when she heard me talking about a kid custom. The kid was a hooligan and I said: look that kid, está mamado! And the ruca made a cara de fuchi. But besides that, la neta es que están bien buenos los tacos. Gasté alguito, but that was because four us ate.
Delicious, and they give you so much meat ($5/taco, so I guess that makes sense). Al pastor were the best by far! Little hole in the wall shop, only 4 people working in the "kitchen." Lines can get long, so try and get in either slightly before or after the rush so you don't have to wait.
Wow! These tacos are AMAZING! I never thought I’d enjoy tacos as good as the ones in Mexico City but Taqueria Ramirez has done it! 🌮 I enjoyed the Pastor & Chamchura. Both were so flavoursome and jam packed with goodness. The quality was unreal, so fresh and delicious. The staff are great and having a great time. Highly recommend! Line moves fast too.
*THERE IS NO TAKE OUT. Everything is served on their plates and MUST be eaten inside (a bit cramped if it’s busy) or the immediate patio area (there’s a fair bit of standing/sitting room they’ve created) *There was a long line and it took maybe not even 5 minutes to order and get my food. (That’s what i call good service!) If there’s a line… DONT BE INTIMIDATED. It’s a small space to line up in + food comes out really quick! You will be ordering in no time! Food might be a “more expensive” than your typical taco price - I’d say they’re worth it. I got the Pastor, Campechano, and Nopales (w added chicharron). The campechano had great flavor and I enjoyed experiencing the contrasting spice from the sausage and the more umami beef/confit combo. The nopales was fine - nothing wrong with it. I got it to try, but not sure I’d get again just bc it’s the same price as a taco w meat. But man… that Pastor Taco? IT KICKS. Scratch everything I ordered - just get 15 of those man. They have their own bar to serve yourself cilantro, lime, onion, and a choice between mild and spicy salsa. 30000% coming back for the pastor
I'm not a big Taco girl but with Tacos like the one I had at Taqueria Ramirez, that could change. I had the Al Pastor Taco and it was 😋. The space is small but it has ample room to sit comfortably and enjoy your Taco. You can also sit outside right by the window. The place was busy but the line moves fast. The prices are amazing. Tacos are $4 and $5 . Also on the side counter they have Salsas, Limes and other things you can add to your Taco. The service is quick. I will definitely come back to try the other Tacos. This is another 💎 in Greenpoint.
CDMX style tacos in New York, you can’t really beat that! Definitely my favorite spot here in the city which gets close to what they serve in Mexico City. The line does get a bit long but it’s well worth it as it’s a quick eats place where you order, put some salsa on, and then head out after eating. I know we’ll be back soon because the Pastor was phenomenal. Come here if you’re reading this - you won’t regret it and will be sure to come back for more after trying!
Ok, so there are tacos. Then there are the tacos here. You have to understand that I've been searching this earth for the greatest taco. It's here. At Taco Ramirez. In fact, I don't think I should post this, because I should gatekeep the fact these tacos are from heaven.
The best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had, every time. Ramirez doesn't miss. The torched longazia sausage is great too, but I can never get enough of the pastor so I've only tried those two. Everyone who works here is great too. They're always so kind and hard working. It feels like they really take pride in everything they do and it shows. I lived nearby for 2 years and went here countless times. Moved out of the neighborhood recently and I miss it so much I still stop in when I can.
These tacos are amazing. A simple place which does good food, perfect for a quick in & out bite. Deffo check it out 👌 (slow cooked beef was my favourite)
This place is quite popular, so you may end up waiting in line, even during off-peak hours. Flavor-wise, their tacos are good but might not stand out dramatically compared to other top Mexican spots in NYC. Considering the wait time, the food itself is around 3/5. However, the restaurant, though small, has plenty of outdoor seating, and the lively atmosphere with music adds a lot to the dining experience.
We went around 2pm and there was no queue. We got the pastor and suadero and they were the best tacos of our trip, so much so that we immediately went back for more after finishing our first round. We spent the rest of our trip eating at other taquerias but nothing else was as good as these.
Worth the wait! Easily the tacos I’ve had in NYC. Off hours line takes 15-20 mins and it’s maybe 30 at peak hours. Pastor tacos are sublime and the combination taco was also superb. The chorizo mix they have has a sweeter, nuttier spice like cinnamon or nutmeg in it that I haven’t had replicated outside of Mexico. 3 tacos for a light meal, 4+ for anything more. 3 tacos and a Topo for each of us was ~$22.
Absolutely worth the wait regardless of the long line pretty much every minute of the day. Simple menu of about five or six different proteins but each one is mouthwatering good. I even put this up there with los tacos #1. Definitely a MUST eat when in Greenpoint. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining but pretty much is wherever you can find a space since this is New York and you can pretty much eat anywhere and no one will bat an eye.
This place was WILD busy on a Sunday mid-afternoon although the line and service moves pretty fast. All the meats we tried were good, and the price was pretty standard. They also let you put the taco toppings on yourself, which was awesome. Their homemade salsas are really really good. Seating is pretty cramped and it doesn't seem that take out is an option, so off-peak hours might be better if you want to make sure you don't feel rushed.
Amazing food! I ordered - 2 tacos Suadero - 1 taco de tripa - 1 taco de longaniza - 1 taco campechano All the food was very delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. My favorite one is the Saudero. The music/vibes were also very welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!
Some of the best Al pastor tacos I’ve had. Little piece of pineapple on every taco which is great. I was also a huge fan of topping bar so you could make you tacos how you like them. The salsa they have was perfect, great flavor and not too spicy, the onions were super crispy and cilantro is cilantro but still solid! The tacos all had crazy flavor which was awesome and would definitely come back for more. The taco shells also held up well even though I was skeptical at first.
This place is no BS. Amazing tacos, and will be coming back. Every bite is flavour packed and their corn tortillas are the best I’ve had in the city. Got the pastor, longaniza, suadero and their campechano. All great, one of thee best confid beef, pastor tacos, and chorizo/longaniza taco I’ve ever had
The place is not over hyped. We got the campechano, tripa, nopales and the pastor. All the fillings were delicious and you can top it with sauces, lime, onion and coriander at the counter. The nopales which is cactus was one of my favourites and the pastor. Although I wish there was more pineapple in it. You'll likely have to stand and eat but the service was great and super fast
This taqueria has suadero, longaniza, campechano, and tripe tacos, which are hard to find in New York City. Only the longaniza and tripe tacos were available, and they are excellent, although the best ones would be the suadero and campechano, which were already sold out when I arrived. The place is small but has a good atmosphere; you can also add the green or red salsas you like, as well as onion and cilantro.
Such a great place if you're craving tacos at a reasonable price (compared to the city). We ordered a few but my favourite was definitely the campechano (mixed). We went a little after lunch time and it wasn't busy, there's limited indoor/outdoor seating so it might be abit of wait during the busier periods. Definitely worth the trip if you haven't tried it!
The best tacos everrrrrr! I go here at least once a month when I’m in the area. The prices are decent, portion size is not bad, and meat itself is DELICIOUS. Definitely top 3 taco spots in NY and I’ve had tacos in Mexico that aren’t as good as these Not much seating but it’s very fast paced and when it’s warm there are outdoor benches
This place is phenomenal. I come to NYC once a quarter and I always have to hit this spot up, at least multiple times. All the staff are very accommodating and even on their last day before the holiday break they threw a mini party and it was just incredible! All the tacos are amazing and flavored very well! Definitely don’t sleep on this spot.
This taco spot is now probably my favorite taco spot in NYC. Although it's (technically) in Brooklyn, it's definitely worth the trip there. Inside, the shop is cozy and a bit small, but great for a quick bite. They have a simple menu with about 7 options, and all of them are amazing. The orders are quick, staff is friendly, and there's a self-serve topping/sauce bar. The tacos were so flavorful, full of meat, and delicious. Highly recommend.
I hadn’t had tacos this good in such a long time! I originally planned to come right when they opened, but arrived a bit late — just in time for the lunch rush. The line was pretty long, and I saw some people ordering to-go and eating outside, so I was worried I might have to do the same. Luckily, a spot opened up inside, and I got to sit down. We started by ordering six tacos — one of each kind — and shared them between the two of us. Every single one was amazing! They were so good that we ended up ordering two more. I also loved the self-serve topping bar — it was fun to add what I liked. Overall, everything was delicious, and the experience was totally worth the wait. Highly recommend!
Not used to having tacos of this style or quality in NYC! Was delighted to visit this taqueria with a local friend who reigns from California, so we know how to sniff out the authentic stuff. Love a simple menu, and when you see a trompo, and a fully stocked salsa bar, you know you’re in the right place. Will always make it a point to stop here when I’m in the area.
This is hands down one of New York’s best and most authentic taco places. The fish and short rib taco were fresh, tender and full of flavour and cilantro and that was before adding in from the array of chilli sauce on offer. Pick up a plate and perch outside with a beer, there’s nothing better to it other than a flight to MEX.
I was exploring Greenpoint today and had to make it to Taqueria Ramirez. As a Californian living in NYC for the past 15 years, Mexican food in the city has been more miss than hit. These tacos remind me of home. The pastor had the right balance of sweet and savory, and the Suadero was just decadent and melt-in-your-mouth. You definitely need to account for a wait (we were about 12 people deep and the wait was about 20 minutes to get to the counter), so make sure you order ALL the tacos you want at once.
Lives up to the substantial hype. Easily the best tacos I've had in NYC. Meats are super flavorful, tortillas are delicious and thin with enough structural integrity to easily eat the tacos. Very no frills - 5 types of tacos, some drinks, one mild salsa one spicy salsa cilantro onions limes that's it. Al pastor is incredible, longaniza has a nice kick, suadero is rich and meaty. Went Sunday of Labor Day weekend, lunch line was about 20 min, not bad. Highly recommend.
Really good CDMX style tacos worth the hype. Swung by on a Sunday just before opening. A line started forming around 11:45, but it moved quickly—maybe a 15–20 minute wait, max. Dine-in only, but everything’s served on plastic plates for fast turnover. True to the CDMX street taco format: you get the meat on a tortilla, then head to the topping station for sauce, cilantro, and onions. Simple, efficient, and very DIY. Among the three I tried, Tripa was my favorite. Slow-braised and then torched for a smoky finish. No seasoning (maybe the broth they boil it in has a little bit of spice), so I skipped toppings to savor its natural flavors. Still very soft, but it wasn’t too greasy. Al pastor was also solid. A bit salty on its own, but once I added diced onions and hot sauce, everything balanced out nicely. Classic combo. Campechano was a mix of Suadero and Longaniza. Good, but not my top pick. A little heavy for my taste, though I get why it’s a crowd pleaser.

Soooo good. I don't care that I'm crying from the heat of the hot sauce, I'm doing it with a smile. Also the music is always 100% on point. Makes me feel like I'm at an asado.
The meat stands out as high quality and I really enjoyed the mild and spicy sauces. Service is very fast and would definitely go again

This taco eatery has been on our list for a while. We came down when the weather scared away potential long lines. Upon arrival the wait was relatively short. The tacos are $5.00 a piece a bit pricey and extremely expensive making them the most unaffordable tacos in NYC. Two tacos and a drink can cost you an upwards of $15.00 which is pretty high. The taco quality is decent and you have the opportunity to serve up diced onions and sauce on your tacos. Only concern was the constant flies landing in and out of the condiments. Seating is awful and extremely limited. The place does not have a takeout operation which operationally is a logistical nightmare since the indoor space can hold about 10-12 people. My favorite was the taco al pastor.
Waited for an hour on the line, ordered beef tacos, on the menu showed tomatoes, was missing asked to substitute with pineapple to add a bit of variety. The green sauce was great, though. The meat, honestly, had tasted better. They had no utensils and were uncomfortable eating with some spilage of the food with fingers. The music was energetic inside and lively. Overall, it was a pleasant ambiance for a one-time food experience.
It's a cute little spot with limited seating, but that's part of the charm—it’s more of an eat-and-go kind of place. The line stretched out the door when we visited, but don't let that deter you. The team here is quick and efficient, pumping out tacos so fast that the wait flies by. I also appreciated the reusable plastic plates; it's a small but thoughtful touch. The menu isn't overwhelming, which I love. We ordered six pastor tacos, one longaniza, and one tripa. The pastor was fantastic, slow-cooked in a pot and chopped on a wooden cutting table. The longaniza, cooked in the same pot but in a strainer, was an interesting approach, and the tripa was pretty good too. They char the longaniza and tripa after placing them on the tortillas, adding a nice texture. All the toppings and sauces are on the side in clay pots, which was a nice touch. However, if you're not a fan of pork or can't eat it, this might not be the spot for you.
Decent tacos that aren't worth the cost. The Al Pastor tacos (4/5) were packed with lots of nicely charred roasted pork, but there honestly wasn't much flavor - most of the flavor came from their sauces. The Suadero (3/5) had very little flavor and was mostly fat. The Campechano was better (3.5/5) as the chorizo had some more decent flavor (spicy, salty, had more umami), but not worth the $5.
Admittedly, I only tried 2 types of tacos. I tried the pastor and tripa. The tripa was tender and delicious, and the pastor was flavorful. Will be back to try the others! The space only allows for dine in and is tiny, which is a slight hindrance to getting in and out quickly when there is a wait.
I've been wanting to come here forever, and I finally made it--just 40 minutes before closing! Unfortunately, they were out of suadero and tripa, which I was really looking forward to, but that just gives me a reason to come back earlier next time. The spot is small with limited seating, yet it was still buzzing with energy late into the night. The upbeat music added to the lively atmosphere, making it a great place to grab a bite. I ordered the pastor, which was hands down my favorite--packed with flavor and topped with a perfectly thin slice of pineapple for that extra touch of sweetness. The longaniza (spiced ground pork sausage) was decent, but not really my thing. The campechano, a mix of suadero and longaniza, was juicier thanks to the beef, making it a solid choice. The wait wasn't too bad, and I loved the small DIY toppings station where you can load up on onions, cilantro, and sauces. The spicy sauce was incredible--just the right amount of heat! I'll definitely be back to try the other tacos. Can't wait!
Good, reliable tacos. I tried their pastor and suadero, both very classic Mexican street tacos. Nothing extraordinary, these tacos are omnipresent in Mexico, SD and LA. Harder to find in NY but you can still spot them with minimal effort. Service is quick and courteous. The place is tight. Some bar seating and decent outdoor seating as well.
Delicious tacos but expect to spend around $17 for 3 tacos. The sauces and topping bar is clean and the wait is never too long on weekdays. The meat is a bit salty and the tacos are overflowing, I wish they gave 2 tortillas. I recommend the pastor, the longaniza was pretty salty
Went here with my girlfriends today… It was pretty good. Al pastor was fire. My friend said the first bite of hers was really gross, but the rest of it was good so I’m not sure what that’s about but they pretty much just give you the meat on your taco and then you dress it yourself with onion, cilantro, lime, and sauce.
The tortilla was slightly greasy but had a unique touch, and while the meat was a bit under-seasoned, it really let the natural flavor of the meat shine through. It was incredibly tender, too. The salsa was delicious, and overall, the atmosphere was fun and enjoyable. Definitely a place with character!
Finally made it here! Got in quite quickly (less than 10 minute wait).. very simple clean interiors.. we were able to place our order quickly.. we wanted to have one of each taco but they were out of the tripe - so we had the other 5.. Compechano was hands down our favorite - perfect seasoning and the meat was cooked to perfection! The other flawless taco was the Suadero - slow cooked beef confit was juicy and tender and the taco was just overflowing with the meat and juice! Least favorite was the Nopales - didn't like the texture of the cactus nor the seasoning. The Nopales taco at Los Tacos No 1 is WAYYYY better.. the other 2 tacos were good but one was underseasoned and the other was overseasoned..all in all, service is efficient, it's a simple/chill ambiance and the meat portions are massive..but they lacked some seasoning consistency and definitely need to think about that nopales taco! I'm very glad i did this but will probably not go out of way again for this taqueria.
Yummy, chill taco spot in Greenpoint. It's a casual, modern vibes, hole in the wall type of restaurant. \n\nYou order at the counter, and have a seat at their bar like seating. When you get your taco…

I don't know how I feel about this place honestly. Four tacos and a drink would cost around 30$ and given that they truly do pack on a lot of meat I think it's worth the price \n\nThe self serve to…
Great taco shop! One of the best I've had outside of Queens. service was quick and efficient and the tacos were amazing. Great atmosphere in the shop as well!

Really good, kinda expensive but everything tasted amazing. Super fast service. Nice lil spot. The pork butt was bussin. Cactus was good as well.
I had the pastor and longaniza. My friend got the tripa. The pastor and longaniza were fine, nothing special. My friend said the tripa was very tender and flavorful. If you are in the area, I would recommend stopping by if you crave tacos. I would not go out of my way for the food nor would I crave it.
Came here with high expectations and walked out disappointed. Sorry, this is my opinion only, but there's nothing out of the ordinary with these tacos. I can go as far to put in writing, I've had a better experience, ever out of some taco food trucks. lol 😆 I read some of these other reviews about the best tacos in NYC. I'm like, what the heck am I missing here? This is not boosting, but we make authentic Mexican tacos at home that I guarantee better flavor than the ones I had. Even without topping, I can deliver a better flavor experience. There's no real sitting area. They offer an outdoor sitting area also thats a bit too small to even try sitting at. I got seats inside, but it can get crowded. About total sitting, inside and outside, 20 more or less. No parking area and street parking aren't easy to locate. No takeout, like containers, unless you take it on paper plates. There is not much selection for beverages either. Those are not the best options, either On a positive note. The line could get long, but I need to add. It moves pretty well. Staff was fast, helpful, and friendly. I came, I tried, I conquered, but as for me, I won't be back again. There were others who felt the same. So that means I wasn't the only one, not coming back. 🤔
The food is crazy good! Don’t miss the al pastor tacos. Sadly have to change my rating from a 5 to a 3. after buying 20+ tacos (group of 5) the restaurant got full and even though we went to buy more, they told us we where to many people for so few tacos and had to wait outside (the ones who are not getting more) ridiculous
Not sure what all the hype for this place is about. I've tried many tacos from dozens of different Mexican places. This place is average at best for me.\n\nDecor. Really none to speak of. Open kitche…
Long line, but wasn't a bad wait. There is a sign that says dine-in only, but we said to take it to-go, because we didn't see any seatings, until we got our food so we sat down to enjoy. Everyone i…
