Opinions de Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle Brooklyn
This is a great spot with great food! I got the R15 with fries which I highly recommend! Other great dishes are R10 and curry fishballs. I highly recommend you give this place a try specially on a cold winter day like today! Ohh the food came out quickly, well prepared, and the service was great!
Very good food, Hot , temperature Hot, so you must stir your Food, comes in cast eye pots. Plenty of food, lots of Great Vegetables. Extremely well priced, Brought home extra. Very Tasty. Recommended Beef Bulgoogi. And Chicken Noodle pots Two people for lunch, under $30.00, will definitely go back when coming back to Brooklyn.
The tomato base noodles might be some of my favorite yet. I couldn’t even wait for it to cool a little before eating. I will say the plum juice wasn’t the best but the passionfruit sparkling drink paired very well with our meal. The atmosphere is pretty good for catching up with friends and grabbing a quick bite.
This place is deserving of more than 5 stars!! Amazing! Our experience was pleasant from beginning to end for everything - service, food, atmosphere. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated by kind and smiling staff. The waiter was extremely friendly and also considerate of our dietary restrictions - no shrimp or pork. He gave us recommendations which we accepted. To make sure we were happy with our selections though, he also gave us a sample to try before we ordered, which I think is such a thoughtful effort to make sure we as customers are happy. A kind gesture that certainly did not go unnoticed. His recommendations were great though. We ordered the popcorn chicken which was filling for 2 people and tasted so fresh! I was so happy we ordered that as a snack. We also ordered a Tomato Soup Base and a Collagen Chicken Soup Base and they were both very flavorful. For dessert, there weren’t many options but the waiter recommended the lava rice cake - it actually was very yummy! It tastes like fried oreo except less sweet which is our preference. We loved everything and will definitely come back agai. Thank you!! :)
I was driving through the neighborhood when I spotted this place. Must be new I thought to myself. So I find parking and decided to try it out since I haven't had noodles for quite some time since coming back from the Cancun vacation. Place was very cozy and and plenty of tables to accommodate customers. I ordered the chicken and fish "crossing the bridge" noodle with fried wonton and fried chicken wings for appetizers. The noodle portion was bigger than usual from other places that I had frequented. It was very flavorful and not too chewy. Will definitely go back!!!
Been to this place numerous times and the food is very consistent in terms of preparation and taste. I have always ordered the chicken and fish maw noodle soup but lately I have been fascinated by the tomato base soup noodles with fish. It has a tangy and sweet and sour taste which is quite appetizing. It does not weigh you down after downing the whole bowl. Definitely give it a try!!!! Highly recommended!!!!
Very fun experience and great food! We have never had Chinese food like this before, the 10 second noodles were great (kind of a mix between hot pot and pho). The stewed beef was amazing! So much flavor and so tender. The broth was delicious — we got the original and the golden broths. Highly recommend the golden broth, it was so flavorful! We will be back to try another flavor soon! Yum!
Nothing really beats this place on a cold day, especially if you're looking for noodles and soup. Lots of traditional Chinese side dishes that everyone is sure to love too. Get a spicy soup if you really want to heat up, or tomato for a nice mild hot soup. Price point is also good, you can fill up if you just eat the soup and noodles, and each bowl is under $20.
First time trying Ten Second Noodles and it did not disappoint. We got the R3 and R18 and the bowl noodles stayed hot from start to finish. We also got fried wontons and french fries appetizers. The soup was perfect for a cold day. The atomosphere is cozy and it was not too busy and we went on a Sunday evening. The music they play also fits the atomosphere. The servers were attentive and polite.
Comforting noodle hot broth shop on a cold day and the next table ordered pork chop and wings which looked so good. Our beef brisket dry noodle had a good sauce and the noodle texture was amazing with refreshing cucumbers. The hot broth was clean and comes with quail egg and one tofu puff cut in half, with woodear mushroom and corn with the original sliced fatty beef. Noodle soup comes with ingredients in it already and the dry mix noodle has a jelly egg which is cool.
This place has good noodles with pretty good soup. Each soup base has the same ingredients and they have many different soup bases. Their gimmick is it only takes 10 seconds to assemble your meal and it's pretty cool. The spicy isn't that spicy and is quite flavorful. The tomato soup is good as well.
The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in with servers. Customers can choose from various large soups with noodles, appetizers, entrees, cold dishes and beverages. I ordered the original beef brisket rice noodle 🍜, chicken soup with rice noodle, cucumber salad with homemade spicy sauce, curry fish balls and fried wontons mixed with pork, mushroom and shrimp. The food was well-prepared and very good.
The portion of the noodles was huge. It was nice and hot, the lamb that I got with the noodles tasted so flavorful. The only complaint I have is that it was so hot temperature wise! I had to eat it slowly.
I genuinely enjoy this place and always order the same thing, the R8. Occasionally, I’ll get a drink, like their green tea, and the soup has an incredible savory flavor. I bring my friends and family here so often that they already know my order by heart. However, I’m not a fan of their tipping policy. While I understand the importance of tipping, they often expect a larger tip than I’m able to give on some days. You’d think that as a regular who supports the business frequently, this wouldn’t be an issue, but it still feels a bit awkward. I’m hesitant about coming back because of it, but I’ll see how things go.
Their version of Original Crossing Bridge Noodle is not bad but it’s not what I’m use to having. Upon trying their version the first time, I was met by surprise when I found things like spam / ham, pieces of corn, kombu, a marinated chicken wing, and tons of lettuce added to the soup. I thought the chicken wing was added by mistake the first time I saw it there because it appeared to be quite random. Nope, not a mistake and it’s all part of the soup. Other than that, their noodle broth is delicious and savory. Their portion sizes are reasonable and I’m usually left feeling quite full after eating the noodle soup. Other than that, great service!
The pork broth with rice noodles and meat LACKED the rich complex flavors of a deeply flavored broth base that I have come to savor. The broth flavor was good but weak (lacked the flavors brought-on by sufficiently reducing the broth to concentrate the flavors). The $12-$13 dollar price was reflective of that. The rice noodles were extremely over boiled & did not have the proper chewiness. My order was brought to me within 4 minutes of placing with the server, which seemed to indicate that the noodles had been pre-cooked somewhere in the back. The service was poor. During my 30-40 minute visit, I was not checked on once to ask if I needed anything or even a drink refill (even with the seating at 10 percent percent full, plenty of opportunities). The front-end manager stood around holding his hands behind his back with an authoritative posture & Expression, pacing past my table, which felt a bit awkward. Free green tea was served at the start of the meal which was appreciated. Strange tasting Tap water was also served with no ice. The atmosphere was pleasant and the lighting/seating was comfortable. Although the service and food were unimpressive, I'd return because of the affordable cost & pleasant atmosphere.
This place is not as advertised. The authentic way of having these noodles is that they bring you a bowl of of hot soup and a tray of the cooked ingredients and noodles; and you are to add everything in yourself at the table. What this place did was put everything together for you and bring it out to you. This makes the noodles soggy and also you may not want everything in your soup. When I asked why they do it this way they said it was because it would be faster (they want to turnaround the tables quickly). But this makes the experience feel more like fast food especially since the noodles were very soggy by the time it reached me. Additionally, we all felt there was different amounts of ingredients in our bowls. Even the sign outside their restaurant showed the ingredients in individual plates.
The server a male asked for more tip? Shocking asked for one more dollar are they even paying their workers why is he begging for more tip after i gave them 18% i know the economy is bad but I’m poor too and i was with my girl and it was embarrassing. Will not come back again. Ive been multiple times and came as a first date before never been begged like this at any restaurants before. Wow
