HANDS DOWN the BEST BAGELS in town. Trust me. Every day for the decade or so, I've gotten bagels for breakfast (and sometimes lunch, I'm a big fan of bagels if you couldn't tell) from every spot in Bay Ridge. I've tried them all. Wheel Bagels is consistently the BEST bagel and food I've had. All the people there are awesome and I genuinely look forward to every visit here. Also the GREATEST MUFFINS!!!!!

Changed ownership they cleaned it up nice. Bagels taste great and they offer more breakfast options. Prices are pretty much level with other places. Very good

So good with tomato, red onion and capers on a toasted whole wheat everything bagel. Yum!! Place is clean and staff is friendly. Worth a visit for breakfast or lunch.

This is a good bagel and deli shop. The coffee is not as great as I would hope, but in a pinch, on a cold day, they are the best near the subway.

Waited for bagel, cheese/sausage (3 orders) to be served. Bagel was dry some of us enjoyed meal

Not just fresh cold cuts, but homemade spreads & heroes; hot trays; hand-mixed sides & salads & slaws. Even homemade butter! It's also a wonderful place to pop into on a cold morning to fill up with a giant cup of coffee. The urns are always going full blast & the beans they use here are excellent. I come here to get my ground coffee for home brewing. MY ONE GRIPE: the atmosphere. Ugh! When you step inside there is always a flat-screen TV overhead blaring either CNN or NBC. It's terrible! So jarring and so nerve-jangling. Ordering food should take place in a calm, cheery environment. Instead, you get your bagels with doom & gloom screaming at you from above. Ack! If they simply played music I would come here MUCH more often for bagels.

Too expensive for me. Almost $5.00 for a bagel with scallion cream cheese. The taste was ok. I’ll get my bagels at Take Away and Cafe instead.

Came here on Friday, and bagels are really good love how much cream cheese they put on them. I’m disappointed about customer service there was a Spanish lady and was really rude to me. I’m really upset about it since I talked to her in Spanish and in a good mood when she gave me back an attitude. Hope to have a better experience next time.

Prices are really high for less than mediocre bagels. Previous owners had much better quality and tasting bagels. Place has potential but they need to serve nyc quality bagels.

Bacon and egg on a roll got a runny egg rubber thick bacon, sandwich wasn’t cut all the way thru so when I went to take a half of the sandwich the other half fell. I will not buy another breakfast sandwich just stick with a bagel nothing else.

Ordered a cinnamon Raisen bagel. It was so soft which was great but only had 1 raisen. Was disappointed 😞

Got a bagel with eggs and pastrami and honestly what a waste of money. One small slice of pastrami, that's all they put on it. The eggs had nothing on them, completely plain. For what they charge you'd expect way more than that. Not coming back.

Steve never should have sold it. The bagels here are mid now.

The past 3 times I've gone they made my order wrong. Last time I verified with the person working up front, before and after the order, and they still made it wrong. Go anywhere else in bay ridge.

my mom told me not to leave this review but i’m annoyed. she traveled all the way from staten island just to get me an avocado, egg, and cheese on a bagel. she specifically asked for it very toasted because the last time she ordered, they didn’t toast it AT ALL. well this time they seriously overdid it. this isn’t toasted this is BURNT. like they really looked at this charred bagel and thought, yeah this is good to go?? i’ve asked for “very toasted” at plenty of other places and have never gotten something this bad. i’m super disappointed. i couldn’t even eat the bagel because all i tasted was BURNT??

The customer service here has definitely changed immensely. At this point I can’t discern if it’s just that or, the bagels, eggs, or in my case “missing an egg in my bagel” the problem. But I gave the woman my food order, and she seemed bothered by it, when I asked for a toasted bagel with egg and “crispy bacon.” I received my food, paid for it and left. I opened my bagel and it was missing the egg. I immediately went back to return it and the woman, who took my food order, seemed upset with me because she missed “the egg in my bagel”. She literally rolled her eyes at me. I just requested for my money back. Customer service here is deplorable! Never again.
