Such a cute atmosphere. Our server was super friendly and helpful. You have to get their French fries! We got them as an appetizer, they are incredible! Burger was amazing as was the miso black cod, it melted in my mouth. Would highly recommend this place!

Perhaps one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Everything was on point and very well executed. The food told a story with every bite there was an explosion of flavor. Highly recommend this place. We stayed at the resort and had dinner at the Tavern. Best getaway we’ve had in years. The location is quiet and majestic. Away from the city life.

Awesome spot with a diverse menu located close to the freeway featuring wonderful cocktails and faire. The Duck Mole was a wonder old dish, and the Miso Black Cod was a light and delicious dish. The Blue Crab Beignets did not disappoint. The cute Tavern Cats 🐈‍⬛ also 10/10

For a dinner date, we selected this restaurant and brought our daughter along. She was thrilled with her meal. We were impressed by the delicious food and satisfying drinks. The atmosphere was lovely, and our waiter provided exceptional service. Upon learning it was our first visit, he offered valuable recommendations for popular menu items to try.

Really enjoyed our time there. It had a speakeasy feel to the place, very romantic,quiet and cozy. Steven, the owner and our bartender was very nice and made some very tasty and pleasing drinks. The Barbocoa sliders were very tender and delicious 😋. The apple pie Ala mode was to die for and they gave us a complimentary chocolate mousse with fresh fruit, which was not overly rich.

Amazing local find! Chef Anthony is phenomenal and was very personable. He came out and greeted us as we were the last people to walk in around 9:40pm. The whole staff was more than helpful and we were super excited to have a place that knows how to make a good Old Fashion. They also have 6 rooms to stay (4 king rooms and 2 double queen). Very upscale with reasonable enough prices for food. Great atmosphere and fun place.

An amazing, intimate space with farm fresh, excellent food. The chef here is top tier - food was flavored perfectly. My husband and I came here for my birthday weekend, and couldn't have asked for a better restaurant experience. Every staff member was extraordinarily kind, accommodating & friendly. Gorgeous hidden treasure away from the touristy crowd in Solvang, but near enough for a stop over for the delicious caviar dips and FRIES (best ever, you’ll never see “fries” in the same way after tasting theirs! We had 2 servings as it is so addictive!) the appetizer are all very tasty and thoughtfully crafted to pair with the fantastic drink list! Beautiful place to have a simple date night or special event. They even have rooms/inns! Awesome team who takes good care of you. Will definitely stop over when we are on HW101

Quiet restaurant with a beautiful calm ambience. I went here for my birthday(2/23/24) with my husband and we were seated immediately. Our server was Ethan and he was OUTSTANDING! I've never had such great service. He was funny, attentive and knowledgeable! I ordered the Chimichurri Shrimp Appetizer that was SO flavorful and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I also ordered a delicious burger as my entrée and a yummy créme brûlée for dessert. ALSO props to the wait staff for refilling my water anytime I took a sip seriously great service all around!

Had the apple dessert, which was a mini apple pie with pink lady apples that had been soaked in red wine. I didn’t detect any flavor or color change from the red wine, and it arrived barely warm, I would have liked it to be hotter. Overall, very good!

The absolute most visually stunning restaurant in the valley. It’s off the beaten path just the perfect amount. I was already just so pleased with the atmosphere, but then I tried the food! Oh my! The very helpful waiter suggested the crab puffs as an appetizer, now I don’t like crab, but was willing to give them a try. They were absolutely delicious! My steak was cooked perfectly and the wine selection was fabulous! You must try Zaca Tavern! Staff and service were also all so friendly and knowledgeable.

Our dining room attendant Martha was attentive and ensured that our meal was amazing. We shared a Porterhouse steak that was seasoned and prepared perfectly. Our Peach burrata salad was a gem, and the caviar fries, to die for! The cocktails were also top notch and presented the way they should be. The rustic but sophisticated bar and dining room are truly stunning. For those looking for a great meal, romantic atmosphere, great food, with a ranch vibe, this is your place. We will be back

My favorite spot for many years. The Tavern is a great spot that serves the best cocktails in the Valley. There is only one bartender so you do need to be patient as they are individually crafted which takes time… perhaps a “sous” bartender during busy times would be helpful. The food is delicious and attention to detail is obvious. Since the menu changes I’m guessing the duck or the sea bass are my favorites with the pomme frites and caviar as a starter.

Absolutely everything was excellent — from the cocktails (standard and specialty) and small bites (we had chimichurri shrimp) at the bar, to the scones and lobster beignets that started the meal, to the filet and black cod entrees (both of which were actually better than excellent!), and then the apple pie that closed our dinner. The wine selection is also excellent. Our server was top notch — she was very personable and attentive, knew the menu, and had great recommendations when we asked. The ambiance was very appealing to us. They have nice, covered outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. We will definitely return!
