This is a great burger place. They have 26 burgers choiches with fun names (A-Z). The fries come 1/4, 1/2, and whole sizes. The 1/4 fry is plenty for one person. The food was very fresh and the service was super fast.

Fantastic burgers! Tom's has a very unique "alphabet" menu of burgers, with all sorts of options. I got the "J" burger with sauerkraut on it and it was incredible. The onion rings are fantastic as well! The service was prompt and friendly, the food was amazing, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend stopping by for a bite!

Visiting home again after 11 years away. Of course we had to eat at Tom's. I always get the B burger. The fries were fresh and awesome as ever! We ended up going twice and our waitress remembered our order and drinks from the previous visit. It is still as good as the first time I remember going in 1986. Love this place!

I used to go here pretty often as a kid & young man. I hadn't been here in over a decade as I moved away from Lompoc. But when I came back to this restaurant nothing had changed in all the good ways. It tasted the same & even looked the same as 20 yrs ago. The staff was very friendly. Check it out for a good quality burger.

I was immediately greeted by a friendly server, who told me to sit where I wanted. Initially, the menu confused me because the burger menu is written A to Z. However, once I figured that out, I felt silly. It was a fun approach to a menu for this out of towner. Mary was my server and was super friendly, inviting, and helpful. I asked her, since I was from out of town, should I get a burger or BLT? (I'm a sucker for a great BLT, but it IS a burger restaurant!) She ended up telling me about an off the menu option (involving jalapenos and avocados!) that I ended up picking. It was amazing and I might even go back tomorrow to have it again before I leave town. She also suggested 1/4 order of fries, and when I asked if I should get a small order of onion rings too, she was real with me and said it was a ton of food and I wouldn't need it. I appreciated the honesty and not going for the upsell. I love local good and a great burger and this place is both. I'll be back when I visit the Base again in the future!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is always GOOD! My favorite burger is the Jalapeno burger. Fries are definitely sharable as they come with a lot. We also have the pleasure (Gunslinger Vending) to be the amusement/arcade vendor for this company and have had nothing but an awesome experience providing machines for customers and employees at the location.

I have always liked the burgers and fries but I decided to try breakfast while visiting and it was great as well. I will definitely eat here again next time I visit.

While the menu is definitely a bit much to look at and kind of makes it hard to figure out what your ordering, the food is definitely worth it. Once I'd deciphered the admittedly entertaining alphabetical wordplay on the menu, I found they had a bit of everything when it came to different styles of burgers. I ordered a modified Cowboy, and was not disappointed. Just be warned, they serve a very healthy portion of frenchfries. I had a quarter order of fries and couldn't finish it alongside the burger.

Mary is very friendly. And remembers all her regular customers and she makes sure you are well taken care of during your meal. We love going here to eat not only for the great food but for the excellent customer service. !

I've had quite a few burgers in my time, but this place is by far the best I've ever tasted. I will forever be a loyal customer GO TOMS !!!

I phoned in an order today, and when I went to pick it up, the two ladies who helped me were so sweet and welcoming. They made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. I ordered their cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings, and it was all excellent! I’m from out of town, and look forward to returning whenever I’m back in the area.

A good burger with fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly. The fries were crisp and hot. The service was excellent! I would highly recommend the Ortega burger.

After too many times, I give up. Inedible fries, raw chicken…. You can only save so much with a friendly face, and it’s only gonna end up with someone getting sick

Normally I’d give this place a five star rating but not after tonight. A 45 minute wait for a burger and fries unacceptable by any stretch. Not only did I wait forever my burger was complete trash, extremely undercooked bacon and condiments missing. I would have complained there but life is short and I don’t want to waste another 45 minutes waiting on a replacement burger. Dear Tom’s, you’re better than this. I need visible improvement or I would not spend another dollar there. I refuse to eat slop and suffer through poor service ✌️
