I hadn’t been here in years and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be after reading all of the bad reviews, however there were two main things that I didn’t like. First, sadly they don’t hold cakes anymore and second, the pizzas and desserts are not full. They only had 3 types of pizzas to choose from and the dessert section was a little empty as well. Other than that it’s a great place to go specially if you have kids.

I mean its pricey but kids will have an awesome time. Food is actually pretty good , an place was kept rather clean.

Buffet foods were well stock and quickly refilled. Pizza selection was varied as usual and staff accepted requests well for the pizzas that weren’t currently stocked. Would like pizzas to be cut more evenly. Coke Zero dispenser was defective, coming out clear and unmixed. Manager was on the floor and was attentive of dining area needs. Overall experience was good for dinner service.

Fun can be had by all no matter the ages. The Arcade area has a great selection of fun filled activities & games that adult groups of people can enjoy. The food selection are also on par & the various themed dining areas make it quite entertaining. I enjoyed the delectable desserts & the beverage selections. All in all a day well spent eating & then burning off the calories

The food was great at the time I went which was closing time... not alot of food obviously. Need to go earlier for that--but overall awesome time... place is clean. If you go closing time its not at all busy and feels like you have the place to yourself.

This probably my second favorite all you can eat place that has a lot of seafood. Make you come at the right time because once this place get crowded you might as well leave. The customers were cutting and bullying their way to the food and not in a orderly fashion. But as for the food, it was delicious. So much variety of seafood. They have a sushi section also. There is a grill for you to have the chef cook your food. After a big meal they have lot of fruits and ice cream. There is a section where there are fried crab legs, i suggest you stand there until the new batch comes out because people rush there every time theres a new batch. There will be a line out the door if you got after 12pm on sunday so get there before then. The service was great overall. If you want take out, they have that options also which is cool.

For the price, it’s good, because of the many choices and great service. However, I wish there is a system where a person can get the crab legs in a limited quantity at one time! People tend to get a plateful each time because waiting for it to be replenished is about 15 minutes interval. One tray full can serve only at the most 4-5 people, disheartening and disappointing after waiting in line for long when you are the 6th person and beyond! Overall, it’s a good price for such a large selection of dishes for a regular Asian buffet restaurant, in short, one gets his money’s worth, not really outstanding in taste but satisfying enough!

The atmosphere was good for the most part but I got placed in an area that was not preferable. It was right near the employee area where I could hear lots of dishes clacking. The food was alright, but I appreciated the wide variety of food like sushi, fries, etc. The foods here also appeal to kids, making it a good destination for a family. If you go here though, just hope that you get a good seating area. The staff here is kind and dishes were often cleared from the table.

This is a great buffet restaurant to go to. The restaurant has a really nice unique subway/street design with great architectural ceiling designs and nice subway tile throughout giving this restaurant great vibes. The food is ok, it’s not really hot which is kind of annoying. The food was tasty, but it’s like something you would eat at a Chinese express restaurant. The deserts are also limited. The ice cream is really good with a lot of flavors to chose from including Matcha and Pistachio. They have a policy where they charge $5.99 per pound for uneaten food which I thought was eco friendly but also a little much. The service was great, the staff was attentive and polite. I would definitely recommend this place and would visit again!

Went with my son's school as a end of the school year outing. Nice game options, food was subpar. However, the kids were just happy to be there and didn't seem to mind the food much. They ate plenty.

Letter grade unknown restaurant. plenty of parking but be aware it is a mall. The pizza🍕 was good. The salad🥗 was too watery. basically it was too wet💦. Salad toppings a lot of options. the meat sauce for spaghetti it was a lot of sauce and oily not a lot of meat in it. Wasn't that good. And the Fried Chicken🍗 was to fried and greasy. Not like the Pioneer Chicken🍗. it was more like beef jerky. it was super oily when I bite it . Now desserts not very desirable. So the buffet give it a ⭐⭐. It's best to eat before you get here or eat after you leave here. Now the games in the arcades. I gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ my kid have fun and I had fun. They're kept well maintained clean and working. they were at least 4 games we're not working. And for the rides just hit the little button and about 2 to 4 minutes they'll come by to operate the machine so you can ride it.

Booked a Birthday party, staff was great. Manager was very helpful and the party host was amazing! We booked a late party, maybe thats why the food was limited. But overall thats why im giving a 3. Plenty of pizza and pasta. No fried chicken, chicken nuggets, potatoes circles. Everything cold. drink options were good.

Food was just OK. None of the food had labels of what it is like other buffets I've been to. Lots of seafood but wasn't very tasty or had variety. Sushi assortment was good. Service was bad. Whenever we asked about something it was as if we were bothering them. Then they stopped us when leaving because one waitress thought we didn't pay. Yelled across to the waiter who told her we did pay. Bad communication and embarrassing.

This was our first time eating here in Buena Park and theres plenty of seafood items and vegetables but there’s also some American food. There are plenty of desert desserts with ice cream scoops to get yourself. The weekend price is $25 (lunch) but the week days are only $16 (lunch). The place was not only super busy but extremely noisy. Where this place falls short is clearing the empty plates from your table. Our group ended up placing the empty dishes on the next table as we got tired of looking at them while still going back to try other items. Also the staff person assigned to our table never bothered to come back to just simply check in except to give us our check….. disappointing experience.

The food was better than expected. However, a lot of the pizzas were not available. In addition, the "clean" plates and utensils were disguising; they looked like they hadn't even been washed. The tables were also left filthy long after people were done.

The overall idea is fun with themes eating rooms, food and games. When we went there was an issue with getting cups for drinks as there were none. The the food area was dirty and a lot of empty trays. The eating areas were also dirty with dishes and spilled items still waiting to be cleaned. We actually cleaned a table so we could sit and eat. The game are was fun and it was enjoyable but not sure if I’d visit again.

I went there last week for my kids birthday, 2 adults, 9 kids. The service was not good, they seemed to be new servers and they didn't do anything. Only brought extra plates and 2 drinks and then stood around. And I though birthday kid supposed to get some extra points to exchange with gifts, but no one mentioned anything about that nor told me which card had the points. Food was boring, it supposed to be buffet but for $20 dollars buffet, couldn't find much food. Nothing much to pick from and weird looking pastas which kids went ewww. Pizzas were ok. I believe no one ate more than like 3 pieces of pizza which was complete waste of money. SAD! Games were too quick, less than 20 mins for everyone. Only one kind of ride was operated and we had to wait for staff for 5-10 mins. Not fun, boring food, boring staffs, boring games, not a good place to have birthday party.

I’ve been to this location numerous times. Cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. $23.99/person for dinner on a weekend. Fountain drinks are $1.99 with refills. The food did not taste fresh. The food here is mediocre. I do not like the food here, I had to force myself to eat. I witnessed one of the staff members pushing food that had fallen out of the tray, back into the tray. They have a big selection of seafood: crab, shrimp, big shrimp, crawfish, clams, sushi, and more. Staff quickly refill drinks and take away finished dishes without us asking. It is easy to find parking here. Plenty of seating available, no wait-short wait times.

DON'T come here at night on the weekend if you're hungry because you won't find much food left. My partner and I stopped by at 8:45pm on a Saturday and it was packed! There was hardly any food or seafood left even though the menu stated that it was seafood night. Not sure if it was because they ran out of the foods or they just don't have it. A notice or discount would've been courteous. I normally don't have high expectations with Asian/Chinese buffets because of previous experiences - they're generally all ok in quality when it comes to the taste of the foods, but this place was such a disappointment. There were no oysters, crab legs, lobsters, etc. yet the price was the same! As of today 3.5.2023 they charged $23.99 now. Toward the end of our meals, the server even rushed over and try to collect the receipt even though we were not done eating and we were still trying to pay. I understand they need to close the restaurant but there was no need to stand there at the table and hover over our heads to pressure us to leave. I have never been to an Asian buffet and had this bad of an experience before. 1st time here and probably also the last time.

If I could give this place a negative score. I would. The food was deplorable. I’m the desserts were horrible. Food options- horrible. The soups separated immediately . spaghetti noodles were dry and sticking together . (See photos) Leaving one star because that’s the only option. Service was horrible. Glad I didn’t purchase the 3 prepaid visit bundle No one welcomed us.

Absolutely terrible experience. Never in my life have I been this disappointed at John’s INCREDIBLE Pizza. I’m here for my cousin’s birthday and I already know she had the worst day ever. 1. The buffet food is dry and cold, which could probably be expected but still disappointing. 2. Almost half of the games here didn’t work. They were either on standby, closed, or needed assistance. 3. Some games that WERE working wouldn’t would for us, then a new family would try it and it would work for THEM. We spent about an hour in here and for probably more than half of that we walked around looking for SOMETHING to play. It’s genuinely saddening how little tickets we got because of how little games were working. I hate it here is all I’m trying to say.

I am writing this review to express my sincere disappointment regarding the birthday party we hosted here for my son's 2nd birthday on Saturday, January 10, 2026. While we were hoping for a fun celebration, the experience was let down by poor management, facility failures, and rigid policies. Our experience started poorly upon arrival. I was informed that I should have requested online to come in early for setup—a policy that was not clearly communicated to me beforehand. As a result, we were taken to our private room late and had absolutely no time to set up our decorations. The entire event felt incredibly rushed; rather than a relaxed and enjoyable occasion, it was a chaotic scramble. celebration, it felt like we were being pushed through a strict "schedule" planned by the venue, which left no room to actually enjoy the moment. To make matters worse, the facility was not accessible. My mother is handicapped, and because the elevator was not working, she was forced to navigate two large flights of stairs up and down. For a family establishment, this is a major safety and accessibility oversight. The food was also a letdown. The buffet quality was poor, and the majority of the food trays were empty when we went to eat. It was frustrating that we were required to pre-pay for the event in full before entering, only to receive such a lack of service and food availability. Finally, there was a significant issue with the FunCards. I had upgraded my package to receive an additional Fun Card, yet I was told by a customer service representative that I would not receive it until "later in the evening." It was not handed to me until a few minutes before our scheduled time ended, rendering it useless for the party. Between the broken elevator, the rushed timeline, the empty buffet, and the illogical handling of the Fun Cards, we felt very undervalued as customers. This establishment is in serious need of new management. We will not be returning.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a complaint regarding an incident that occurred at one of your John’s Incredible Pizza locations involving a manager named Aaron. During our visit, my son attempted to get on one of the rides. However, he was denied access even though he had previously been allowed to ride the same attraction when he was younger during a prior visit. When I tried to explain this to the staff, the manager Aaron responded by completely denying the situation and was very unprofessional in the way he handled the conversation. As a parent and a paying customer, I expected a respectful explanation or clarification of the rules. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and lacked the level of professionalism that customers should receive. My son was very disappointed and the situation could have been handled much better. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed and if your team could address the way the situation was handled. Families visit your establishment to have a positive experience, and unfortunately this interaction did not reflect that. Food portion was good it was always packed but the arcade portion suck almost all of the arcades games dont work or are missing components. The place is busy with alot of families and teens for it to be functioning better. My friends and family 10 that went today were disapointed its like you spend money to have fun.

For the price you're paying you would think they would have CLEAN plates and cups stocked! The food is a joke. Pizza barely has any toppings. They have two ice cream machine and only one gives vanilla. This was the first and LAST time I come here! Completely ridiculous.

Rude front desk “assistant manager” with a poor attitude and behavior towards customers. Dirty filthy restrooms and kitchen, its disgusting 🤢 and nauseating! Used to be a customer for more than 15 years, not anymore. I’ll let family and friends know that they are overpriced, unprofessional and dirty!

There’s this lady with brown hazelnut looking hair who works there and when we were checking out for to go, she gave us this irritated impatient look when one of my family member reopened the box to just adjust her food. She soon charged one of the box we had as “seafood” but most of the boxes we had were either mixed seafood or non-seafood. My mom argued and complained to her that most of our boxes were seafood and non-seafood and the way that woman was talking to my mom was in a rude tone (maybe she does this to other customers) so of course my mom had to bring it up, but then the woman had the audacity to say that she doesn’t care. My mom walked back in to say more stuff and turns out that woman was laughing too (at my mom I think). Never coming here to eat anymore. :(

It was good long long ago. I revisited this place last week, and it was bad. There weren't a lot of people eating there so you don't have to wait in line. The foods are dried, taste like it has been sitting out for too long. They have clams, mussels, and crabs, but the crabs are very small and dried, and you won't be able to detach the crab meats from the shell. Unless you are willing to eat the shell whole, the crab is like a display item not food. You scoop your own ice cream, so everyone grab the same scoop, use it and then put back into this small sink that look very dirty. The ice cream containers are exposed once you slide the glass to the side. Some people just standing there laughing and talking sending their saliva flying into those containers. The previous soft serve dispenser is more sanitary. Not much choices for dessert and sushi. They also asked for 15, 20, or 30% tips at the end.
