This is real Korean food. It's so delicious. I love that I can taste Korean food on "Mukbang" without having to go all the way to Korea. Real Korean food from a real korean restaurant, not the taste of a restaurant full of MSG. Although the name of the restaurant is a soft tofu restaurant, the other menu items are even more surprisingly delicious. The service is also excellent.

Great place to have authentic Korean food.this was probably a second visit we ate here. The foods were steaming hot and delicious. The side dishes were also so good to eat. This place seemed very popular with the Koreans . It was always busy and people was waiting outside. Services here were fast and courtesy. The noises were medium and enjoyable that you still can carry on with your conversation.

Super authentic Korean restaurant. The servers spoke very little English—just enough to be sweet and helpful. And the food was very good, and totally legit. So great to have some authenticity!

My go-to traditional Korean restaurant in Buena Park. I usually order bossam, galbi, grilled pork ribs, tofu soup, sometimes mackerel. Good variety of banchan. Usually lots of old Korean people there. That's a good sign.

Food is alwayd good plus the small dishes with free refill. I love the variety of the small dishes they serve, particularly the fried yellow fish (see picture). It is just so yummy. The service is still good and fast even during the pandemic. It is located next to Zion Supermarket so you can go grocery shopping right after the delicious meals at Myung Dong.

This is our soft tofu spot. We’ll pick this place over BCD anytime. Their kimchi is just as good, if not better. So many oysters! We really love all of their banchan.

Delicious Tofu Soup Had pork kimchi soup spicy Nice hot smoking tofu soup with great taste. Pork was nice and juicy and the tofu had perfect firmness. The soup wasn't just spicy but rich in flavor. Had lots of side dishes that were delicious (kimchi, cold noodles, etc.), however limited to 2 refills. Kind of wish it had unlimited refills. Service is pretty standard for Korean restaurant

Very authentic and DELICIOUS korean food! I tried their pork and kimchi soon tofu, BBQ pork rib (both soy sauce and spicy sauce were really good!), and their hot stone pot rice combo with LA kalbi. Everything came out hot and the flavor was just right, not to mention their side dishes were also fresh and super tasty. Will definitely be back to try other food on the menu!

The restaurant’s soon dubu (soft tofu soup) is the best I've tasted - rich, flavorful, and always served piping hot. Whether it's the seafood, pork, or beef variations, every bowl is pure comfort and perfect for sharing with friends or family. Every meal comes with freshly prepared banchan, adding variety and authentic Korean touch to every bite. The staff are happy to help first-timers with recommendations or menu choices. For anyone craving hearty Korean food and a friendly atmosphere, you can't beat Myung Dong Tofu House. Highly recommended for both casual lunches, dinners and special gatherings - I'll definitely be back for more!

Tucked away and hidden from the busy Beech Blvd is this little gem. It's a little more authentic than the newer joints that you can see along Beech.

One of the best Korean cuisine in Fullerton area. I recommend Tofu soup and Pork barbeque ( soy sauce flavor). Their side dishes are the best!

L

They have very great Korean toufu soups. But today four of us went for JJok Bar (steam pork feet) and Bibimbap (seafood with veggies and steam rice) during lunch time. The portion is huge. It is perfect to share with four. Pork feet are cooked with herbs for a long time and chilled to be a cold dish. Salad spicy chives are provided as side dish. You can just eat as is or you can eat with fermented shrimp sauce or fermented soybean paste. Not hot enough? You also can eat with raw garlic and jalapeño.

Went here for soondooboo and was pretty disappointed at the stale banchan (side dish) and mediocre soup. It used to be one of the best tofu places around. I hope the other dishes are better.

I really love Korean-style cold noodles (naengmyeon), and if a place makes their own noodles, I’m always willing to try it. The noodles here were excellent in texture, but the broth was lacking in depth and flavor. While this isn’t a naengmyeon specialty restaurant, if they’re going to keep it on the menu, it might be worth putting a bit more care into the broth. Honestly, the soy-marinated pork ribs and other dishes might be a better choice here than the naengmyeon. I visited again after a long time and ate soft tofu, cold noodles, and grilled pork ribs in soy sauce. Sundubu is similar in every restaurant, but Korean-style naengmyeon gets high marks because the noodles are made directly . It is not easy to make noodles yourself using a noodle machine. In Korea, only famous cold noodle restaurants make noodles themselves. The pork ribs were delicious as they had no smell, the meat was soft, and there was a lot of it. The staff were especially friendly, so I didn't regret giving them a tip. These days, it's hard to eat in a world where tips are so expensive. It's been a while since I've been back, but I always want to visit this restaurant.

The seafood tofu soup has a thick seafood broth. It comes with shrimp, squid, clam and oyster. A lot of food. Hood service.

Price went up so much. It's not any better than before. Tofu is good but again it is 15% price increase is too much since December of 2020.

Its tofu soup and pork ribs is what i love here the service quick and good as well. The only issue i ever had with this place is the consistancy of the taste. Sometimes the best sometimes no taste sometimes too salty then best again. Thats why the 3 stars i do like the place though.

This is one of the places in the food court at Han Nam Chain Korean Market. I was in the market to pick up some items and thought I'd get some food to go. I was in the mood for some soondae and saw that they had pics of that posted up here so I thought I'd give it a try. Having had some excellent soondae at Seoul Soondae, this place falls short of that, but it's great for convenience and price. Not to mention they have all your other homey Korean goodies here too, like steamed dumplings, dukkboki, tofu stew, and easily a dozen other items. I think it's a case of jack of all trades, master of none, but they hit the spot when you're in a hurry.

J
Jay Rue

They make soooooo many different items. Mostly pretty decent. Also, most of their food has a TON of raw garlic so be aware! Korean food is not about having heaps of garlic, but this restaurant really loves garlic in everything.

J
Julie Cho

This place used to be good with $10.99 noodle lunch specials, but after a recent management change, their soft tofu jjigaes are not that good. So sad I may have to go back to BCD in the neighborhood. Liked their Banchans though.

Worst service and experience ever 2 adults & 3 kids (7, 10 & 12 yrs old) went there, but kids didn't want any food. So just ordered 2 dishes for adults, but waitress forcing to order more dish in order to occupy seat. And even told us that they will charge for extra noodle even though we didn't order extra noodle. Worst service experience ever.

L
Liz

The food was salty but acceptable but waitresses are so unprofessional and unsanitary. I set right in front of the kitchen area and asked for ladel to move some soup. I saw waitress put her hand to ladle where you put soup in it instead of holding the ladle holder. What is this? Is she actually want me to use that ladle when i saw her using her hand for holding money, credit cards, and checks... Also, another lady drop the fried fish(조기) on the ground and instead of throwing away into trash can, she picked it up and put it on the cover sheet of other fried fish. Unbelievable and ridiculous.. I will never go there again.. how would you know what they will put it into the food..

H
Heather

Horrible experience here... we were already seated eating our food and they asked us to change our table suddenly because they had a bigger party to seat... i get that they want to service as many people as possible but it was just so unprofessional to make us change our table mid way through our meal. They could have just waited for us to finish.... food wasnt that great either. Have had better meals..

My husband went here with two daughter. Nine, Five years old. He ordered two cold noodle but they said he had to order at least three dishes. Is there anyone who think that is fair??

Although the food was decent, we won’t be returning. An older waitress took our order incorrectly and made no effort to clarify when taking the order. When we addressed the issue at payment, she brushed it off, claiming we must have misunderstood and that the price difference wasn’t significant. Uhh noo..

This restaurant makes us wait for an 30 minutes than bring the Tofu without any taste no salt or nothing. They newly remodeled so we went, waitress was 6 of them just so busy running around but not getting our order properly. Owner of restaurant did not even apologized how they are serving the customer. On Friday dinning out with family to have a good time ruined everything. I don't want to even rating that restaurant.
