My father-in-law took me here, called them "slime dogs." Very good! However, being from Rochester, we typically use Zweigle and Buffalo seems to use Sahlen. Still good but I like the thicker Zweigle but if I'm in Buffalo again, I will definitely be back here!

Food Always Good customer service is good , but one of the employees need to watch their temper! Customers are Very observant we can tell when an employee is hot style 😉

Louie omelette is so so good! 3 egg omelette with hot dogs chopped up inside it with their special Louie sauce on it...perfect! There slime dogs are great too

The employees at the Bailey Ave location are fantastic! I stopped in on 7/20/22 @ 4:15. I've never been to a Louies before, and the grill cook and counter lady were so patient and kind, helping me with my selection. They were working very hard, had smiles for everyone, and took care with every order. Of course, everything was delicious. I have rentals in this area and will absolutely be back!!

To : Robert (The Manager) Thank you so much for going out of your way to solve the issue with door dash, you seriously made light of an extremely frustrating situation as I currently can't drive due to vehicle problems and mistakenly ordered from your restaurant, all the while the support line at doordash didn't answer and when I tried for the third time told me that a refund was no longer possible. You made it possible, you made it right. Happy new years man!

I felt like I was back in the 90s! Busy place, great food and outstanding service. Everyone was attentive not on their phone or standing around like so many places now! This is how it is supposed to be, great service equals great tip. The younger generation could learn a thing or two

Love getting the fully loaded glitzy lol. I think the other items on the menu are just for promo because the salad don't be Salading and the burgers don't be burger ingredients. However, if u want a place with thee best hotdogs, go no further.

Fast and friendly service. Louie's is one of the go to's for slime dogs and this location doesn't disappoint. Fiance got the fish sandwich she said was delicious along with sweet potato fries, also great. I got my usual two up, fries and a shake with a side of sauce. Definitely satisfied my slime dog craving.

Noplace to sit and eat, but who cares when it's this good. They have the best Texas Hots in my opinion. I don't get anything else but back in the day the breakfasts were awesome too. This particular location of Louis has the best Texas Hots for some reason. Awesome. Really nice staff as well. :)

Went here for the first time. I will definitely be returning. I agree with previous reviews that the waiting area is small. However, it is adequate enough. Excellent customer service. The woman taking our order took time to explain everything to us. As difficult as we were she made sure to repeat the order back twice to make sure everything was right. The food was great and exactly what we ordered. The even bigger plus was the pricing. The cashier though, she is a gem!

Haven't had Louie's in over a year so I decided to check them out. The food was good just like it used to be, the waiting area was clean as always, but the service was lacking.

There are vegan/vegetarian choices here! Vegan corned "beef" sandwich, veggie burger, and veggie hot dog. The corned beef did not disappoint. The hot chocolate was also pretty good.

Food is awesome! One of the few eateries that have the same delicious taste from back in the day! ❤️

Being a Detroit native, I’ve been looking for something close to a coney dog and chili cheese fries to match. I’ve found it with this restaurant! The Louie’s Famous Red Hots were really good and the cheese fries slapped. We also tried their burger with their Louie sauce on the side and were weren’t disappointed. I liked how they wrapped the food for togo lol it was so simplified that I thought I was missing stuff but I wasn’t. My only recommendation would be to please update door dash so I know my food is ready that way it’s not lukewarm when I get it. Other than that this spot was the bomb and I’ll be back!

Always have a good time with the cooks and the girls when I go in there always smiling and helpful.. I believe the prices are too high for the quality of food. Pretty much my last resort if everything else is closed to get food at late night.. the Texas sauce taste better on Delaware Street then on Bailey Avenue

If you like Texas hot style dogs or burgers, this could be your spot. All locations are similar but sauce could be slightly different but still good. Louies has become a bit pricey ex. Buy 5 get 1 free hotdogs used to be under $20 yet when I'm in the mood it's worth the price.

Pro tip, If you gonna order here, you gotta ask for them dogs fresh, otherwise you get the shriveled burnt ones.

We ordered combo meals which contained 2 texas hots, fries and a drink. We waited about 20 minutes for food. It's a busy place and there was a steady crowd picking up orders. The staff was friendly and helpful. They suggested calling a head to reduce wait time. Our food was delicious! Louie's Texas Hots is consistent with quality food and service!

Ordered onion rings on door dash drove all the way there they had NO onion rings in the entire building...then substituted curly fries like 4 whole curls and charged me 3$ more than what I paid door dash smfh...

A decent place to get a quick bite. Breakfast food was great, but the hotdogs were just ok.

There sause is the BEST but there prices are extremely high. It cost more to eat here at a hot dog place that it does somewhere like Applebee's ordering steak.

The hotdog i ordered was great. But the grits i ordered were cold and I took a bite as soon as I got it wouldn't recommend the breakfast but the hotdogs were good.

The food is ok but the place need some cleaning from what I can see in the waiting area. l wasn't too happy with the condition. I think that they can do a better job in clean and also maybe a paint job for it to look clean.the service was ok, when I when in the where all standing around and having a loud conversation with lots of curse words in it, the place is not my cup of tea to eat from. My family did not like the way the cashiers handled us. I feel like the owner should take pride in tjis establishment enough to put people in those positions that greet customers with a smile and are happy to serve ad are patient In explaining the menu if need. How could u allow them to carry on this way. Even though the food is tasty u will lose many people because of the rude and nasty interactions from the cashiers. I would give 5 stars but that alone is enough to ruin the experience.

It's small, cold, and dirty. Along with other customers, my husband and I heard workers screaming "KILL IT" in the kitchen...Not what we want to hear when we want to order food. I get that bugs sneak into places every now and then, but that's something that should not be yelled out loud.

I keep giving this place a chance. My husband enjoys going here to get a bite to eat. And every time I order food here. My order is always messed up. Cold...or halfed cooked. Never again. I ordered a greek chicken wrap. And it was so oily and my French fries were not cooked throughly.

Was yelled at and called names just for asking how to navigate door dash to get cheese on hotdog. Rude. Ghetto in an embarrassing way. I really hope they get shut down or new management. Recently went to Louie's after a few years and what a shock I got! They use to have the best sauce you could ever put on a hot dog, however, it has changed and tasted awful! It was "brown" in color and "bitter" in taste, the hot dog was salty. This was not the same "Louie's" I remember growing up! Whatever they did with the sauce, please go back to the "Old Recipe" or Louie's will lose customers! Also, the price for the little hot dogs is way too expensive, over $3 plus dollars for one hot dog, ridiculous! Every time I place an order when the owner is cooking the food is terrible. French fries are hard, he barely puts any sauce on the hot dogs or the chili cheese fries. Ordered food at 11:30, they don’t close til 1 so I didn’t think that was an issue. Finally almost 12:45am, (hour 15 later) a dasher tries to pick up my food but then tell her they never made it and “they’re backed up on orders.” Another dasher tries to pick up my food at 1:05am and the dasher told me they’re closed down. Don’t accept the order if you can’t make it. You lied, and weren’t behind on orders like you stated. This was my first time ordering and now my last from y’all.

It pains me to even give this place a star. There was no customer service. If you can't handle someone who doesn't know what they want, then maybe you shouldn't work there (or in food service at all). The person at the register didn't know a lot of things (which is fine, because she was new) but every time she asked the cook (who seemed like a manager), he acted like it was a hassle to answer a question. They got my order wrong and made a charge they didn't let me know about...just a bad experience in general...hostile environment. If you're hungry, keep it moving.

HORRIBLE service. When I called to order the lady on the phone sounded too busy laughing and carrying on to be bothered. I eventually ordered though and when I went to pick up my order they were again blatantly ignoring me and talking amongst themselves. I ordered pancakes and jelly. When I got home I had no jelly and the pancakes were really dark. I figured that's just how they were made but they smelled wierd. So I took a bite of one and it tasted like sausages! Now I don't eat meat being a vegetarian and tasting sausages on my pancakes threw me off. They cook EVERYTHING on the SAME GRILL. EVEN THE VEGGIE BURGERS. That is gross and unsanitary. The lady in the back cooking wasn't even wearing a hair net to cover her extremely long weave. Just a terrible experience.

I found it totally ridiculous to pay 4.12 for a cheese hamburger with only sauce. At Red Robins you at least get unlimited fries. I found a sauce at the grocery store better than louis sauce. I stopped in at 10:30 pm . When I received my order I went to sit down to eat and the help showed me the door. When I asked why they told me they were closed. When I ate in the parking lot I saw their lite sign stating they're open 24 hours! Very bad experience and they raised their prices! $2.50 for the small coke that's all ice.

If I can leave a worse review with no stars, I would the customer service was the worst service I've ever had, and to be honest every time I go in there the people who wait on me are very rude and unresponsive to customers as they walk into the building. I asked Cooki a question about the menu about veggie dogs because I had never heard of a veggie dog. This person actually told me that the name should speak for herself as if I might've wanted to know exactly what kind of veggies are in the dog, but I digress I just wanted to leave a message That the customer service at this place definitely needs to change because this is not the first time that I've encountered very rude employees matter-of-fact. This will be the last time that I ever spend money in this establishment.

Ordered cheeseburger with ketchup ONLY....got Greek sauce on it. Ordered hot dog with ketchup and relish, Greek sauce on the side...side of sauce was missing. Paid almost $6 for a slice of cheesecake....cake doesn't even have a crust and was a child sized sliver. I actually measured the cake and it was a 2inx3in slice for my $6! The cake itself tasted like no cheesecake I've ever had, and NOT in a good way. Louies has really fallen off, I won't be ordering here anymore.

I don’t know if this was a random occurrence but just sat out here upwards a quarter of an hour past posted opening time. Lights were on, open sign on, smells of grill on, doors locked. Maybe an oversight, there were also cars parked alongside dumpster. However, if short staffed and hours vary that should be noted or reflected so people can make other arrangements. Will give another shot on another occasion and adjust accordingly.

I was very disappointed to get home and find out that I barley had any sausage on my breakfast sandwich. They have me this huge bread and the eggs and cheese part was fine but the sausage to bread ratio was way off. I had to come home and make my own sausage to put on the sandwich.
