Dropped by before a movie and was so glad I did! The steamed dumplings were absolutely delicious, and the chili sauce, wow, so good! I also tried the fried wontons for the first time and they totally impressed me. You can really taste the freshness since they hand-fold dumplings every day. Already missing the flavors and it’s only been a few days since I went! Can’t wait to be back.

The noodles are amazing—super fresh and flavorful. The beef was especially tender and cooked perfectly, some of the best I’ve had in a while.

Ordering in this restaurant is really convenient and fast that actually surprised me. Everytime I went to a Chinese restaurant. I always had to wait at least 15 minutes for my food. But this place got my order ready under 5 minutes and the food tastes good too! I would recommend this place to anyone who likes chinese food.

A very positive experience! I mean how can you not go into a place called chubby dumplings? It just begs to be visited. I mean you would really have to question your very existence if the name alone does not attract your attention. ☺️🤩 Come on, aren't you a little bit curious? Are they really chubby? What's inside? Do they taste good? Yes, all that. They tasted good and they were very squishy, warm and tasty. I tried the chicken dumplings and I would definitely go back for them. Eight for $10 is also a fair price. The service was very good, I ordered on the takeout screen and an employee brought it outside to me. Very polite and nice people. Will definitely come here again.

Just got out of amc and decided to pop in. I wasn’t expecting authentic Taiwanese dishes in dt Burbank but I was really pleasantly surprised with how tasty the dan dan noodles were and how crispy the popcorn chicken was! The noodle texture was really great and they definitely got the popcorn chicken right. Excited to try their dumplings next time!

Just tried this out today after watching something at the AMC nearby. Really great food and friendly service! I got the pork and shrimp wontons and they were super tasty!

My friend and I got one drink to share, and they offered a cup free of charge, I would definitely come again. Don't have a photo of the food though bc we inhaled those wantons in seconds. Just tried them out tonight and I gotta say, the Chicken Dumplings were delicious with their soy sauce pairing. I wish I could have taken a picture but I ate all eight dumplings before I even thought about it. Very chill atmosphere, friendly staff, highly recommend!

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. They were so sweet and our food was ready in a small amount of time. My friend and I got one drink to share, and they offered a cup free of charge, I would definitely come again. Don't have a photo of the food though bc we inhaled those wantons in seconds. The quick serve restaurant is clean and the staff were friendly. This is a self serve restaurant. You have to place your order on a tablet, there is no real description listed. The food came out quickly. I ordered shrimp dumplings and they were basic. They were served plain. I probably would not return based on this experience.

I was so looking forward to their opening, and when I stopped by, the place was nice and clean, the food looks good, but I found out that they don't accept cash payments. I hate paying credit/debit for my lunch/dinner. I hope they change it once they are done with their soft opening.

We tried this place for the very first time today. We really need some good dumpling houses here in Burbank. I was hoping this would be a somewhat good place? Unfortunately, they need to work on the seasoning and other areas. We ordered the tofu fried rice and the peas were so overcooked they were hard and dried out. My significant other ordered the chicken dumplings and he said they were pretty bland as well as the BBQ pork buns. The custard baos were just ok. I'm really hoping you guys work out the recipes.

The beef noodle soup was quite tasty with a generous amount of beef, though it was a bit salty. Unfortunately, when I visited, neither the combo meals nor the pork items were available. I also tried the wagyu dumplings, but they weren’t to my taste.

We ordered the Popcorn Chicken and the Black Pepper Wagyu Dumplings and they were both tough and chewy, as if they came out of the freezer and microwaved. Both were slightly cool instead of hot, so if they've een sitting around for a while too. At least the Popcorn Chicken did taste like regular popcorn chicken even though it was lacking the nice tenderness and texture I would expect from it, but the black pepper Wagyu dumpling simply does not taste anything like Wagyu or much of anything for that matter. The dumpling wrapping didn't seem like it was steamed on a pan, and lack that softness that can just melt in your mouth. The best part of our meal was us mixing the soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil together so we can have some decent flavor to add to the lackluster dumplings. There is potential to the menu, they just need to serve better food.

The best part was the signature sauce. We got black pepper wagu beef pan fried and chicken steamed dumplings. They both have no real taste still you dip it into the sauce and then you still get the bland dry flour taste of the outside. We also got crispy fried chicken rice. The rice taste like it just came out of a bag from the freezer. The custard bao had really good taste but the outside was a little odd. Yes, its cheap but if you really want dumplings and are in the area just go to Din tai fung in Glendale.

Returned it immediately and the kitchen cooked it correctly the second time. Two other dumpling dishes we ordered were also lukewarm but the meat was cooked so we didn't return it. That's a pretty serious food safety issue. But the manager handled it well and immediately comped us with other free items. The other non-dumpling items, including the beef rice, were piping hot and freshly cooked and were good. But honestly, could not get over the fact that all the dumpling dishes were cold, and the pork was pink, undercooked, and mushy the first time around.
